R Bar is the official Manchester United bar of Houston, and it's a great place to watch the Red Devils play. We went there recently to watch the pre-season fixture against Wrexham, and it was a great experience. The bar was busy, but it still had a good atmosphere. Everyone was there to support Manchester United, and there was a lot of excitement in the air. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food and drinks were good. We particularly enjoyed the patio area. It was a great place to watch the game, and it was nice to be able to enjoy the outdoors on a warm summer evening. Overall, we had a great time at R Bar. It's a great place to watch Manchester United play, and it's a great place to hang out with friends. I would definitely recommend it to any Red Devils fans in the Houston area.

I was at the Urgent Care Clinic next door and when I came out the Miller Lite 18 wheeler was blocking me in my parking spot. I called R Bar to ask them to move since nobody could get out, and the woman literally hung up on me. When I called back the second time she heard my voice and hung up on me again! I called back a third time and she told me she was busy and couldn't talk and hung up on me again. It's 4pm on a Wednesday and no customers inside. She was sooooo rude. I am going to contact the manager and let them know this person should not be employed because they are a terrible representation of the company. She deserves to be fired and not in a customer service role.

Fantastic place for a meet/greet during Covid or any other time. We were outside under a canopy on a pretty cool night. I wish they had more heating, but it was just fine. The staff was attentive fast - everyone ran a tab. There were people cooking and service steak. I had a filet and it was heavenly with broccoli and garlic mash potatoes. When standing, we were asked to mask up, when seated, we were not, of course. We were right on Houston Avenue, and there was a lot of Houston Police and Fire traffic. Everyone had a great time, and I'd be disposed to go back if another meeting were proposed, just to go to R Bar!

This bar had only been open about 2 weeks when we rolled through Houston, so things may get better better in time. I ordered a classic cosmopolitan and got what tasted like a grapefruit cosmopolitan. The bartender also didn't have sugar on site (odd---for a bar---because, you know, margaritas and such...). There were no bar food options. There was no entertainment (no music, no pool tables). There was one dart board, and the bathrooms were clean. If you just want to sit solo, drink beer/whiskey, and stare blankly at a TV, this is your spot. If you want to have a good time with friends, go to Underdogs.

Didn't get the opportunity to order/drink nor eat. After waiting about 5 minutes since the only personal working was the bartender. I asked the bartender do they have a happy hour menu since I saw display that said happy hr mon-fri he said "No" I asked How do I know what to drink? He replied "You don't.." I asked about food he said "no menu..." I asked again how do I know what to order? He replied "Whatever I can throw in the air fryer. I don't work here that often.." At that point I knew it was time for me to go.. zero stars thanks a lot.

I visited the R Bar for the first time today. For a Sunday afternoon, clearly most folks were regulars and it was quiet with an ebb and flow of customers. It was a lovely place. The bar is a sports themed bar (lots of TV's) and there were all kinds of drinks available including a nice list of draft beers. The staff were also very friendly. I also found the women's restroom to be one of the nicest bar bathrooms I've been in in a long time.

After almost a year long experience hanging out at RBar, I must say that this is the best bar in the neighborhood to catch sports game. And if you are a Manchester United fan, then don’t forget to join Houston Red army on match days. The bar is pet friendly and we brought our today and she really had a time of her life. Cheers to Chelsea, mark and other bar crews for making our game day experiences quite remarkable..

Great, reliable, cheap local bar. Nothing fancy, but I don't want fancy on a Tuesday night! Come here for $5 drinks to enjoy a chat with friends! Sometimes they have food trucks nearby. Karaoke nights are usually not too crowded!

If you're drinking alone, but don't want to feel alone...go to this bar. Everyone is very welcoming and not afraid to chat up a stranger. I went on a Saturday, it was fairly quiet. I can't remember the name of this beer they recommended, but it was tasty. Thank y'all for the hospitality.

Soooo...great place, cozy, chill, casual dress. But yet again it's a Wednesday. First time here and the service is good. The start tab is $50 hold on your cards. Good selection beer, decent liquor selection. Music ok, customers can buy music. Parking is so-so busy street.

The owner is super nice. Our company has a small celebration there. It was very well kept with a friendly bartender. We had a small dart tournament and had a blast. Great selection of beers and bourbon (all we sampled) and a great low key atmosphere. Definitely recommend

Super friendly staff and great vibes! I went for the food truck, Butts n Stuff BBQ (who were selling crawfish that was AMAZING! I think they said they're there every weekend during crawfish season), and stayed for their crazy draft beer offerings. 10/10

Fun trivia. Good food trucks. Very quick bar service even when busy. Even when crowded, it doesn't feel too crammed together. Fair drink prices. Some board games, buck Hunter and golden tee. Dog friendly. Great patio area. Sweet mural across the street.

The bartender is wonderful. She was attentive and told me about the events that are happening throughout the week. She was very knowledgeable about the drinks and made me a very good drink that had watermelon Red Bull. She is awesome!

This is a great go to or after the office bar that always have great drinks and service. While the bar itself does not have food, there are nights when a vendor is on hand to offer food that is welcome inside the bar. Happy drinking!

Not many beers on tap that I'd gravitate two, but plenty of options to drink. Lots of indoor space and a decent outdoor patio. Dog friendly. Darts, golden tee, and a "juke box". Good local spot to hang out and have a drink.

My neighborhood bar. They always have sports on and will change the TV if they do not. They also have the best trivia in Houston on Thursday nights. A hidden gem that needs to get more publicity if you ask me.

Love the staff here!! They were all super friendly and attentive; they treated us and our pup, Hamilton, very well! We only stopped for beers on a walk, but we'll definitely be back to try the food, too!
