I've been a member here since October 2022, and I have to say that it has NOT exceeded expectations. A few of the front desk staff are rude, not the management, just regular front desk staff. Membership rates are expensive, especially for the broken equipment (that has been broken since I joined). Several treadmills are out of order and quite a few machines are either broken entirely or the pulley system is unbalanced, which can cause injury to people who don't have as much experience in weightlifting/bodybuilding. I was also charged a $25 late fee for a two day delay in payment, which is just the time it took to get myself there to fix the payment. The SAME employee who disrespected me today has done so several times. He basically told me that although I've never had a late payment, that another employee "lied to me" about waiving that late fee. Again, never had a late payment. He then said he would speak to a manager after writing down my information. I know what that means: it won't get resolved. Today, I inquired about a law enforcement discount because I was just hired. THE SAME kid mocked me when I said "I'm a police officer in training", to which he replied "I'M a police officer." That's how REDCON staff treats their future and current law enforcement? Granted I only had an offer letter to show him, BUT STILL. Customer service is not something this gym has to offer at all. Will inquire about cancelling my membership ASAP.

Gym was great originally and then they just started letting more and more stuff break. "Out of order" signs on a bunch of machines and the ones that are "working" have hacked together pins, bolts loosened, etc. They had a flood about 6 months ago and ripped some walls out and all of the flooring in the locker room. The cardio theater has been closed for this whole time, areas of the gym are filled with empty pallets and other trash, and there has been almost 0 progress made in 6 months. Depending on where you are in the gym, you can see into the locker rooms because the wall are ripped out. We pay a lot to workout here. My old gym was $29 a month and they fixed damages within about a month max. Also joined because of the 30% off for Redcon1 supplements. They stopped giving that discount on protein shakes because apparently they're "not selling enough". Like all the other reviews, this place is a dump. Trash everywhere in the locker rooms, dirty everything. Overall been here 2 years and canceling my membership.

AVOID THIS GYM. If you are visiting the area and are looking for a cool gym or live in the area and are looking for a regular gym, do yourself a favor and keep looking because this really isn’t it. Complete let down. I’ve been at this gym for a full year now but I’ll be brief when trying to express how terrible this gym is. VERY poorly managed, manager is never there. Horrible air quality and smell, clear moisture/mildew/mold issue. Locker rooms are like foul smelling caves. It is now a full construction zone and members were not informed and they really don’t care about the members while doing it. Drywall dust everywhere, tools everywhere, half the stuff moved or closed. Construction on the members dime, time and convenience. Lastly a good chunk of the features and machines are broke or closed. Not one to usually write reviews but I fell for this trap thinking it was a super cool gym just to get super disappointed, frustrated, and taken advantage of by owners/management money grabbing.

I filled out a form online that was provided when I googled redcon1. The list had a day pass for free in Nashville. I filled it out and drove 45 min from downtown Nashville. My son recommended the gym. I was greeted with 3 young persons who said my form was not valid in Nashville. I could only pay $25 for an hour workout. I explained that I just drove 45 min. Was a visitor in Nashville and would not had driven that far if it was not for the free pass. They told me they were sorry but the form was a mistake and they could not give me a free pass. I said that was ridiculous. They told me I could not have used the correct form. After alot of back and forth they said why dont you just leave or pay $25. I left. That was one of my worst experiences of lack of customer service or empathy for their mistake of a free pass online. This experience gave me a terrible taste for people and staff in Nashville. I would never recommend redcon1 Nashville.

So many broken machines that have been busted for a while. In the first photo you can see that there are just towels stuffed underneath other machines to keep them level. There’s a whole broken pallet on the gym floor? What other reviewers have said about the quality of the plates and barbells is true. The plates look like dogs have chewed on them, as one reviewer put it. I can confirm this 100%. And, this place is so dirty. Here’s a photo of one of the water fountains just to give you an idea. And honestly, I’ve seen worse here. I’ve only ever seen one cleaning person here, and she is frequently on her phone while working, and just haphazardly cleaning. The trash gets taken out and such, but nothing appears to ever get wiped down, dusted, swept, mopped, etc. For the cost of membership, I was expecting much more.

  • John Marks

The gym is decent equipment wise (a lot is broken and stays broken, but there's so many machines it isn't a huge issue unless the gym is packed) but the employees are terrible. The front staff is more concerned about their phones and gossip instead of members. If they don't like you they flat out won't say hello or goodbye. Some of the personal trainers don't have valid certifications, they had a massage therapist guy for awhile that I tried to go to before finding out he wasnt licensed and had no experience. The place is also insanely dirty. Twice, there were bugs in the water fountain. The equipment is always dirty, and the self serve wipes to clean it yourselves are always out. For how much they charge, the business practices are shady and the professionalism is lacking

Went for grand opening, this place is absolutely astonishing.... lol most amazing gym I have ever been to. They have all equipment separately body part, a free weight zone,a Cardio room, Protein bar and a store to buy all your redcon1 supplements. Mind blowing!! The staff at redcon1 and athlete's are some of the most down to earth people I have ever met, acted like they knew me for years. Can't wait to see the franchise grow with new gyms in the future and come closer to my area, it really put some motivation in my fitness goals, and if it wasn't for the 6 hour drive I would be there this morning hooting the weights!!!!! Great job guys, this is how you build a gym!!!

Daniel singh’s review is spot-on. If you are a powerlifter (you do big 4 lifts - squat, bench, press, deadlift) then stay away from this gym. I was there today- the plates they have are 45 35 25. Couldnt find 5 or 2.5 plates. A few 10s were available. The plates are all rubber bumper and look like theyve been used as a dogs chew toy. I expected more from a redcon branded gym. This place is good if youre a gym bro who likes to do curls. At least the price is good. If you buy a supplement they let you work out free. Also staff was very nice. So i will upgrade to 3 stars My advice ultimately is: skip it.

  • Omkar Singh

Carly was amazing to work with at the front desk! They have good membership options with a flat yearly rate and they give a gift card for supplements. Gym is massive with tons of machines anx equipments, some of them are broken and need to be fixed. The gym machines also need labels for the weights on some machines, however you can work your way around it. Alot of motivation working out at that gym, great atmosphere, good music and all in all a great gym. The only reason its 4 star is because of some broken machines, however, overall there isnt a better gym in the area and I dont think there will be.

  • --

Rumor is they are closing the 15th, but no official communication of that has gone out thru email or otherwise. Lots of equipment is has been busted since The Flood incident with no effort to fix. Cardio room and secondary squat rack room have been closed off with no attempt to re-open. Lots of safety hazards, random towels shoved under machines to balance them, stuff sticking out of the ground, etc. Hard to resist to the urge to bring in some tools and fix stuff while working out simultaneously. I will miss grunting with the boys here. Fartcon1 leadership needs to give their collective balls a tug

  • Barry Fox

Two years I had trained at this gym it was a very decent gym then but has fallen quite alot since. My initial review was 2 years ago when I was visiting the area and since moving to the Nashville area I checked the gym out again. Wow what a decline, I had visited the Redcon1 gym in Boca and it was great but sorry the Nashville facility is no where on that level. My first review 2 yrs ago was very positive not anymore. It has alot of potential but falls very short alot of broken equipment and very dingy. The gym needs a major overhaul I would give a 2 star rating at best and thats being generous

  • Kenneth Brown

Awful customer service. Even worse is your president Eric Hart, who believes that not providing timely and accurate customer service is acceptable. To come at a customer who ask been waiting weeks for product that was left out of the original shipment, and emailing over 5 times to customer service who kept sending a tracking link that had nothing because they didn’t process the shipment yet is a joke. Company has been an absolute embarrassment since Aaron’s been away and now I know why. Eric is a complete joke as a leader. Be better Eric.

This place is great if you are into powerlifting. It is difficult to find powerlifting equipment in Nashville but they’ve got an entire room dedicated to deadlift platforms, racks, benches, kg metal and bumper plates, etc. I highly recommend it here if you like to powerlift and are in the area. The only other gym I’ve heard of for that is south side. The gym would definitely benefit from a combo rack or two and sometimes the metal kg plates run out if a couple of people are using them. Otherwise I’ve had a pretty good experience here!

  • Daniel Singh

If your a competitive powerlifer dont come here. Bars are absolutely garbage. I thought they would have atleast a rogue power bar. They had one rogue bar that I saw but it was the Ohio bar( no center knurling) The pound rubber plates are ripped. The benches have no traction. Also there was no spot to deadlift Just kind of deadlift behind the squat rack. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. Just felt like a super commercial gym. I had higher standards for this gym.

  • Jody Chappell

Usually big Gym like this I’ve been very overwhelming however this one the way they have everything laid out is very convenient. You can work out a whole month and never do the same routines due to the massive amount of equipment. Only Con for me I find 8 PM on the weekends fairly early as I work most weekends it would be nice to get more than a hour’s workout on a Saturday night. Closing at 10 instead of 8 would be great.

  • Ron Horner

This gym is unlike nothing I’ve ever seen! Went to the Grand Opening and was totally overwhelmed! Equipment you won’t see in any other gym! This place will for sure become the NEW Mecca! I promise, you will fall in-love with this gym! PLUS they have a Cardio Room that is a Legit Theater where they will show movies while doing cardio! Absolutely AMAZING and they have an Awesome Pro Shop with Supplements and clothing!

  • Douglas Young

I was a member on day 1 when RedCon1 came to Nashville. The staff was friendly and the gym was clean. Going there was a cool experience and it felt like it was worth the membership fee. A year in and the gym started falling apart and management let this place go. Broken machines, filthy locker room, and rude/weird staff. Just smells like BO and weed. Save your money and go somewhere else.

  • sheldon henry

Came in from out of town and used the free day pass. Apparently the gym flooded in June and they're in the process of making repairs. Equipment is worn but functional, the locker room is absolutely horrendous and basically unusable (looks like Saw 2 inside), staff was really nice which bumps them from 2 stars to 3. It would probably be a really great gym after they fix everything up.

  • Mike B

I think Redcon1 is officially a Yeezy gym considering I've heard at least one Kanye song every time I'm there. In all seriousness, the music is great (even a few remixes are in rotation), equipment is mostly new, and everyone is pretty serious about what they do here. Thanks to Cody for helping us get a membership that worked around our weird timeline, we can't wait to be back.

  • My comment is invalid but

A lady named "MC" she wouldn't tell me her real legal name wouldn't let me get a free day pass because I got a tour there before. She asked if I've ever been there I said no because I thought she ment to workout. She was working with some guy named Christian who was rubbing her back when I walked in. Rude, classless. And beyoned unprofessional.

  • Jeremy Joerger

$90 per month for broken, filthy equipment, a overly competitive, unwelcoming atmosphere and the ambiance of a cave. Equipment is adequate, yet somehow in a city the size of Nashville, offers the best selection in town. When there's some competition this gym is hosed. Worst atmosphere I've ever been in and I've been lifting since the 80's.

  • carter stevens

5/5 and I rarely go out of my way to give a business a review. Awesome gym great energy if you want a place where people take fitness seriously staff and members included. Great supplements they mix smooth and taste great. They have type of machine you could imagine. This place is many notches above any gym in Nashville I’ve been to.

  • C D

the place flooded and they have no plans to repair it. word on the street is the owner/manager was talking in the staff meeting and said the steroid meat heads don’t care so they’re just gunna lean into the rugged torn down beat up look. update: 1 year later they haven’t done anything to improve it. they must have no money to fix it

  • Fouad Mahmood

Is real good Gym I do like .but not good for 1 thing at all is not 24,7 They close 11 night is not good man to much people day time working no free at home they can come at night like after 9 or 10 or 11 or 12 morning So should be 24 hours unless Monday to Friday just day work so I hope change Schedule for future thanks …

  • Kayhan Yasin

The staff is very rude. The equipment was saved over from the last gym that occupied that building and are always broken. The clothes are made from very cheap material. They charge an arm and a leg for a membership and try to justify it by saying, "Only people who want to work out come to our gym" worst gym I've ever been too

  • Rick Frost

The gym is a construction site from a flood earlier this year and it’s $25 for a day pass (they don’t have an answer on when it’s going to be done). I wouldn’t have paid for the day pass had I known it was torn up (couldn’t see everything from the front desk). Why you’d pay full price for a membership when it’s such a mess?

  • Brittany North

I was in town from Vancouver Canada and decided to check this gym out.. definitely recommend! 3 large areas of equipment, free weights and cables with another area for cardio. The music and vibe of the gym was very motivating. I also liked how they had the option to purchase supplements, food and athletic clothes.

  • Kate Gucwa

Many pieces of equipment in need of repair, very crowded, chaotic layout, weights had peeling coating, not enough plate racks, smoothie bar had diminished selection, apparel only available in extremely small or large sizes. Disappointing for what was expected. But the bathroom was clean so there's that.

  • John Harm

Switched to Redcon1 from another gym in Nashville. Easily one of the best gyms the country. Staff are great and very helpful. Equipment is is amazing-you wont find some of these machines anywhere. Lastly it's a great value, I was a member of Lifetime and this gym kicks their butt at half the cost.

  • invaa2k

Great staff, if you're a Powerbuilder this has everything you need and then some. Sure some of the plates may be a little worn and a couple machines get broken here and there because they get beat on a lot with people working hard but there is always substitutes you're able to use instead.

  • Sarah Fielden

I'm a tier operator for redcon1 (ambassador) and joined the second I had the opportunity to! I live just outside the Nashville area(but work there) but its definitely worth the drive in just to go. So much equipment to use and amenities its just great! I wish it could be my primary gym!

  • Race

More machines of greater variety than anywhere else in the county (they've got Panatta!). Confident that when all is said and done, it'll be the premier place to train in the state. The only think I could think to ask for is an SSB. But I'm sure it'll show up in the next few months.

  • Oscar Valencia

This Gym is amazing. If you looking to have a good work out and a heavy one this is the place. I been waiting for months once they announced it last year and I have to say I'm very happy with this place and the staff is super cool. This place is serious.

  • Greg McCoy

Great gym! We bought day passes while in town. Tons of great equipment- all the traditional pieces you need and lots of unique pieces to try. Pro shop is awesome; stocked full of Supps, tees and cool merch. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

  • Bruce Taylor

This gym is insanely awesome. Came to check it out all the way from Texas and it lived up to all the hype. So many machines and free weights. The cardio theater is amazing. This gym definitely lives up the the name "The Music City Mecca"..

  • J MTSU

I paid for the full year… and I regret it. There are so many broken down machines and now the theater cardio has been shut down. There are also not enough sanitation stations and trash cans for disposal. I am hoping I can get a refund.

  • Andrew Lowe

This gym is top of the line. Gym is HUGE so there’s plenty of equipment to meet all your needs. RC1Gym has some equipment you won’t find anywhere else, plus they have all their products available on site for purchase!

  • Darin Altenburg

  • Curt

Great Gym with a lot of equipment to choose from. Some machines are a little run down but what do you expect, they are getting used and abused. 4 stars because of the hours. 8PM on weekends just ain't it.

  • lee robinette

Actually went for a wrestling event, but the gym looked huge and should have everything needed to do a complete workout! Staff was very professional and friendly! 5 Stars!

  • Aaron Singerman

Best gym in the country! Best equipment, best staff, and the best ambience. You can’t help but grow in this gym. The environment is anabolic and the energy is infectious!

  • Black boy The Wiz

Best gym in Nashville in my opinion. They go Neck to Neck with Carbon Performance in Franklin. If you're a serious lifter, this is the place to go. Worth the price imo.

  • Matt Faupel

What a cool place! Day passes, week passes and very reasonable deal if you buy supplements. Great selection of equipment, organized thoughtfully and good condition.
