I ordered online and paid for shipping of a pond decoration. The item arrived with 2 pieces snapped off. I accessed Lowes online customer service chat and was told they would send me shipping labels then i need to contact purolator to ship the item back or i could return in store. Not wanting to wait and try to figure out how to return this item i opted to drive it to my local Lowes and exchange it. Before i made the half hour drive i thought i should call Hamilton location customer service and make sure the item is in stock. I called the number listed online for Hamilton customer service and ended up in voice jail. Every time the robot voice said i will transfer you to an associate Lowes hung up on me. I tried the other number they had listed as "Pro desk" and someone answered as customer service ? In any case they verified they had the item on the shelf ,so if i drove down i would not be wasting more time. I drove down to Lowes and went to customer service to do the exchange and was directed to go look for another one in the garden center . After considerable searching i found an undamaged item. I returned to the customer service desk with my item and the associate said he would process a refund . I asked "will i be refunded the delivery charge?" He replied "absolutely !" He finished up and handed me a receipt for the exchange . I looked at the receipt and noted the delivery fee was clearly NOT refunded . I said you did not refund the delivery fee . He replied we do not refund the delivery fee. I left the store defeated. I ordered this item delivered cost 51 dollars . By the time i drove it back to Lowes paying for gas and including the shipping fee they would not refund it cost me 10 dollars more than if i had just drove in to the store and bought it off the shelf not to mention the time lost i was trying to save by ordering online. Think hard before buying online from Lowes and my experience trying to resolve this with the Hamilton Branch was not good . I will most certainly not be buying anything online from Lowes. My experience with the Hamilton branch exchanging the item only made a bad situation worse.

I was just in Lowes, in the plumbing department, had to wait 20 minutes to find an associate to help me. There were 2 extremely rude older female employees (butch with blonde & gray hair) building a cabinet in the next aisle over, and a young 18-20 year old male employee asking one of the older women for guidance on something job related. The older women said VERY loudly and condescendingly: “WELL, IM SURE IF YOU USE YOUR BRAIN, YOU CAN FIGURE IT OUT! USE YOUR BRAIN! FIGURE IT OUT!!” The poor guy looked completely humiliated. This was loud enough for the person I was on the phone with to hear and ask “who’s yelling like that in the background?!” I told the person it’s the older employee to the younger employee. We were both feeling very uncomfortable with the way this woman was speaking to him. After waiting 20 minutes for someone to help me in the plumbing section, I asked the same woman for assistance and her reply was (again very loud and aggressive) “only if you’re easy!”. Some of your employees need better training, it’s a terrible look for Lowe’s, and the GM, to have employees belittling their coworkers and snapping at customers like that. I left and went to Home Depot, where I received great customer service and the associate helped me find what I was looking for. If I was that male employee at Lowe’s and this is how I was spoken to at work, I’d be seeking advice from an employment lawyer.

We had such a NIGHTMARE experience with this company. We went to the store on Tuesday Oct 13 because our fridge had died. The agent who helped us was wonderful, and we ended up selecting a fridge basically because it was a 2 day delivery and we needed it. We were told at the store that we would be contacted the following evening for arrangements, and be given a 2 hour delivery window for the next day, AND a call when they were at the stop before us. Perfect. Wednesday night, no call. So we call. We are told yes, they'll call you in the morning. No call. They arrived at 230 unannounced, and we were not at home (still at work, because no call). Told they couldn't wait, would have to reschedule to Saturday. Saturday, NO CALL. NO FRIDGE. Call and are told it has been rescheduled until NOVEMBER. Went through the system and after an hour are told that the best they can do it *maybe* Monday. No thank you. We spent an entire Saturday going from store to store where we finally found a fridge we could take TODAY, and 200 cheaper. What a horrible experience we had with this company. This is not customer service, and they were willing to leave a family with no fridge for a MONTH in the middle of a pandemic, all because the delivery drivers did not live up to the promise this company made. Shameful. Won't be seeing our business again.

I would have given 4 stars had I not had so much trouble finding assistance. I went into the store mid week about 5 o’clock looking for some assistance on dryer hose and fittings. Very nice gentleman in the dryer section pointed me to the area I needed to look to find pieces I was looking for. He also informed me that there would be somebody with better knowledge over in that area to help me. I went over to the area found what I thought may be the right pieces but I wasn’t 100%. When I went to speak to the person in the department he was busy with another customer. Nothing wrong with that other than I stood at the desk where he was assisting another customer, and when he was done showing the customer what she needed, he walked off and never came back. he clearly saw me waiting. It was very obvious I needed assistance. I ended up putting the pieces back walking out with nothing. I drove to home hardware where someone was able to assist me with everything. The store itself is laid out well it’s very similar or exactly the same almost as the Lowe’s store previously. The store was clean. There was some really good deals on. Maybe it’s better to go when it’s a little busier on the weekend when they possibly have more staff.

Today I was very happy with my experience at Lowe’s on Barton in Hamilton. The customer service employee at the returns desk named Abbey, was so so so very helpful. We bought a deck box a few weeks ago which had an issue with the corner, a manufactured problem. We came in with the lid but unfortunately missed our original contact as she had gone home. Stressed and worried as this product seems to be selling out, instead of telling us to come back, or passing us off to another employee she did everything in her power to help us. She found the receipt I had lost online with my card number, found a location which had the lid and called them to hold it for us. She even was able to give me cash back as the item was now on sale. We left a while ago but are still talking about how helpful she was. What an incredible employee. We will definitely return and hope Abbey gets credit for making our experience so great.

Starting to not really like Lowes. In the last week I’ve ordered 2 different items online and waiting for my pick up email and on 2 different days went to pick up my items and waited half an hour for someone to bring the item to the front of the store and the other time I ended up after 20 mins of waiting went and picked out my own items and took them to the front. Not only was the wait absolutely crazy since both days I was emailed to come pick up said items but the one item ended up going on sale and being almost $200 less so I called to see what my options would be as I purchased this item online and I was told to bring in my receipt and I would get credited back to my card.. once I got there I was told I had to go online and or call the Lowes number in order to get my money back… waste of time imo all around. I did get my items and I did get my money back

The store itself is fantastic. When their garden center is open it is well worth checking out. Most times I've come here all the staff are polite and friendly. The last visit, one gentleman that was working was not so friendly or polite, I understand health and safety is a big part of the job in the garden center as there are lots of things up high. So if health and safety is of the utmost importance then the employees here should be blocking off the area properly not just pulling a fence halfway across a walkway and leaving customers in the "attempted" cordoned off area without anyone saying anything to them. So when the customers attempt to leave the blame shouldn't be put on the customer for being in there when a fellow employee points out that there are still customers in the area when they're going to take product down from.

Bad attitude from the staff and manager in the customer service area, they were not very helpful. I was trying to exchange 4 items for different color, the staff and manager told me that I can't exchange items, they said that I needed to returned the item and then make a new purchase, my biggest concern was that I bought the items in special and he told me that I have to pay for the difference so I went to see if they have enough product in the store to proceed but they only have one of the items that I needed to exchange. Then, I drove over to Niagara and guess what, they did the exchange. I didn't even have to show my credit card. Higher management please pay attention to the proper training for store managers and staff. Hopefully the next customer doesn't have to deal with issues like what happened to me today (Jun 25, 2022).

I ordered 3 doors, trim and baseboards for my basement. After 2 weeks I called the store to ask when it was getting delivered. They lost my order. They called me back and said that the earliest they could deliver my order was Wednesday. I took the day off work to get my anxiously awaited order. They never showed up. I called the store twice the next day and got forwarded to the delivery manager to find out where my order was. Both times it rang so long that the phone just hung up. The customer service lady informed me that she wasn't sure why my order didn't go out the day before, but that she could see that one of my doors was now out of stock (they were all in stock 2 weeks ago when I made my order) 0/5 stars from me lowes. I cancelled my order and I guess I'm taking my business elsewhere. Thanks for nothing.

Always a pleasure coming to Lowes,it was the first time I noticed the Kobalt pack out and I was impress! Unfortunately I was to busy to look around but from a side angle I definitely look forward to seeing it again! Came to get some gutter guards for a client and quickly found what I needed and out in no time! and the install was simple I could feel them click perfectly in place. I just hope the wind isn’t able to blow them away! But you don’t know unless you give it a try and the install was so easy! So I was able to lower the cost because it took 2 seconds while there cleaning he gutters to click it in and being 6ft lengths there was less to install! And i already give better prices we practically did it for free! But time will be the judge of his one. That is all!

Bought two outdoor chairs online today for $59.99 each as this location was only showing two in total in stock. Arrived to the store for pick up and noticed signs placed around saying, “spend $100 and receive a $25 gift card.” Was rudely told that that didn’t apply for online purchases, only in store ones. Fine. I then proceeded to buy over $100 in items in store and upon checking out and inquiring again if I’d receive the card this time, I was then now told that it only applies for purchases of items originally priced. So if I ask for a refund on the chairs to then just purchase them in person in store I’d receive the card since those weren’t on sale? Pretty stupid policy if you ask me. I won’t be rushing to return to a Rona+ anytime soon.

Went there to buy set of appliances. Store advertised “price match” plus 10% if cheaper anywhere else. I acquired about washer & dryer set that was cheaper at Best Buy. Didn’t get approved as Best Buy didn’t have those in stock so they couldn’t match. Ok, not happy but ok. Then I asked about kitchen set that I saw at Best Buy that was in stock. Again I was turned down as they do not match anything that is already on sale in other stores. Decision was made by manager. False advertising is so 90’s. That’s not how you attract customers to come to your store Mel Not surprised that Rona took over this brand. Hopefully new management can attract more people to come there, keep their promises and have some dignity. I don’t think it’s hard.

I knew what I wanted but wasn't sure what area of the store it would be in so I asked at the "Customer Service Desk" and a polite young lady sent me in the right direction. I found what I wanted quickly. Looked at a couple of models and chose the one I like best that was within my price range. My second item was also easy to find after asking another associate that was working in a department other than the department that the item I wanted was in. I got both item and then went directly to the register to pay for my items. The cashier was not very talkative but was polite and processed my purchases efficiently. I had a good shopping experience at Lowe's today!!! :) ♡hugs♡ JACK

My experience with this Lowe's is that, firstly, I enjoy shopping here, and secondly... the staff go above and beyond to help you find things and resolve any issues. Case in point recently was a warranty issue I was having with Mr. Bar-b-q products....Natasha at the Lowe's Barton street store was absolutely exceptional at solving the issue to my satisfaction, where Mr. Bar-b-q would not. Kudos to the staff at this Lowe's, who have a real understanding of customer service, and therefore retain loyal customers. This isn't the first time Lowe's at Barton Street has gone above and beyond, and they do it with a smile, and it is greatly appreciated.

I had an appointment with your kitchen designer (Shannon). She is rude to your customers. She chewed gum throughout our 90-minute appointment. I didn't appreciate hearing her smack her gums together the entire time with her mouth wide open. Her attitude is very superior and she pointed her finger to tell me to get up and follow her. This isn't news to you as I'm not the first person to complain about her attitude. But I simply grinned and bared it throughout the entire appointment and then took the kitchen design she gave me to Home Depot on Centennial. You lost a $5000 kitchen because of her attitude.

Nice enough store with easy access. Good selection like their big competitor but suffers from the same problem...need your running shoes on to track down any help you might need. Not avoiding you, just understaffed. Pretty much need to know what you want and self serve...just like online shopping, begging the question 'why bother going'? Returned last week to help a friend find some cushions and an outdoor rug. Could not have been happier with the help we received. Large rugs were sold out but they were happy to sell the floor display. Big thank you to the staff in Seasonal Dept.

Excellent service at this location. We were sent from Burlington location to get a compact fridge and when we arrived they had none in stock. We were frustrated as we drove from another city, so we requested to speak to the manager. Amy was very helpful and willing to compromise with us. In the end there ended up being a fridge available that met our needs. The young girl at the customer service desk was also great, and there was two boys outside that happily helped us put the fridge in our car. Very impressed with the willingness to help and kindness received at this location.

Went to self checkout with two items that came up much more expensive than the advertised price. This has happened on multiple occasions, but this time I was buying a bathroom hardware kit for $54.44 that came to $139 and a faucet for $105 that came to $159. I went to a teller to purchase the items instead and showed them their price tag. She just scanned the item and said, no these are the prices. I showed her the picture again and she said they put the wrong stickers... for both items on it, and just told me the total. This has happened multiple times and seems intentional.

There seems to be a serious supply chain issue when it comes to customer service. I went to the store and had a number of items in my cart and when I went to go pay there was 0 lanes open. Instead one of the 4 employees standing around in a group talking pointed over at the self checkout. Last time I checked I don't work there. Unfortunate since I was really hoping to buy those items... Reply to reply... always improving service? OK I'll give you props for the comedy. That was a good one. I went to a competitor and paid more because I thought having service at all was nice.

  • Kerry Meissner

Called in to rent a steam cleaner & was told to come in the next day, any time, since there's plenty of cleaners available. Set aside the afternoon & went in the next day... employee says Lowe's doesn't rent steam cleaners....but, they do rent carpet cleaners. My partner and I asked for details about the carpet cleaner rentals - if they're shampoo-based, if it's comparable to a steam clean, etc. etc. The employee had no clue, which is fine, but... there were also no other employees around that could help. It was a really messy experience from start to finish.

  • Andrew Stirling

Went to the store to buy an item that I seen online. Store had that item in stock, when I went to check out they would not honor the price online. We were told by the store that the price online they would honor, but once I was there I was told they aren't lowes.ca and they don't have to charge what the price online says. So I take it the online and brick and mortar stores are two completely different stores. Was not impressed, we do the majority of our shopping at Lowe's, but now we won't be going there again. We'll go to a competitors store from now on

My family and I came here to get some basics for gardening as we will be taking part in a community garden and we wanted to make sure we had everything we needed to get started as beginner gardeners. The worker in the gardening section (outdoors) was super helpful. Gave us tons of insight and tips. I wish they had a small beginner section that could let you know what you need to get if its your first time getting started. Otherwise it was overall a successful trip. I wish I remembered the young gentleman’s name who assisted us.

Now that you have gone to self check and un trained teams member I will never shop there my second bad experience at lowes no staff to help only 1 working on Saturday on returns .I will got the manger as everyone was lined up to return items again no staff .today I go to buy a item at the self check out after 20 minutes I finally got to to pay for my item as there team member that I found didn't know how to enter it in . When they did I said thanks I will not do business with you again . I guess online is the best Amazon

  • Alex Smith

The lady who was a specialist in appliances was amazing. She wasnt pushy and knew we had another quote and tried to beat it as best she could. But was very honest and upfront. She had just come back from Mat leave and u wouldnt have known it because she knew her stuff. And when she didnt know something she didnt pretend, but looked it up right away. Although we didnt end up buying from them, they were amazing!!! Honestly if it wasn't for the delivery timing not working for us we would have bought from them

  • Tim

I had the pleasure of trying to find and purchase a lamppost for outside. The first person to help me was David, very helpful and caring. He had taken us to the many places to find it but no lampposts. After David, I went to the service desk and still they couldn’t find it. It is amazing that you want to buy something and no one could find it. I left my name and number but to no avail I still do not have my post. David thank you, great help and care. The store itself, a poor effort. Still need a lamppost.

I buy a lot of product at this store. We got a kohler toilet here a week ago. Hooked it up and it was defective. I've renovated many bathrooms so i know it was defective. So i neatly disassembled and packed it up. Brought it back to Lowe's and they said since it had water run through it, they won't honour the return policy. (How would someone know it's defective without running water through it?) I know they honour it at Home Depot so I guess we'll be getting our toilets through them from now on.

Have been looking for Exterior French doors for our shed / garage, and have visited box stores as well as independent building supply centres. Very few places carry any in stock and getting any assistance has been even more frustrating. Until we met Bruce at the Barton St Rona + store. Got all our questions answered including guarantees, shipping, delivery time, availability, special order vs in stock, etc. THANK YOU Bruce for being Patient, knowledgeable, and anticipated our needs.

  • Jessica Delange

Made a curbside pick up order for the 12-12.30 slot, arrived at 12.15 and left at 12.55. shockingly slow service. I called twice and filled in their "I'm here" form twice. I opted for curbside pick up for a reason as I was unable to come into the store itself, if you're too busy to offer the service remove it as an option! The only redeeming part of my experience was that the guy who came out to bring my things was extremely nice. I certainly won't use the service again.

  • David McGuigan

I had a run around at the Ancaster store. 20 minutes on the line with me getting timed out. When I did talk to a human being they kept pushing me through to the same line that nobody would answer. I called the Barton store and an employee called Wanda spent the time to look into my issue. I was looking for a cabinet on sale and just wanted to know if it was in stock. She was very professional and nice. They did not have it stock but I hung up in a good mood.

  • Leslie Wade

Great staff !!!!! Thank you to Bruce, Ralph S., Martin & the lovely female delivery woman. They didn't rush us, they were extremely attentive and patient, as I asked a gazillion questions. The cost of finishing our basement was reasonable, the delivery was not only on time, Ralph even asked, if it was possible to be delivered in the am, and it was. The driver put it all on the back deck, which was a great help. Thank you to all. Great experience :)

  • Gord MacCharles

Amazing service. Went in a few weeks back for a new lawn mower, got the dream team of Sheri and Gerry and couldn't be happier with our purchase. They both took extra time to ensure that my wife and I knew everything we needed to know about our purchase and checked that all the parts were there before going to the checkout. I would highly recommend get one or both to assistance you when making a purchase - you won't be disappointed.

  • Sandy W

Drove all the way to this store to purchase an in stock item only to find they wouldn't honor the advertised clearance price found on their website for the Burlington location. "Check other stores for availability" should also state prices may vary or list a different price! Thats ok, Home Depot matched the clearance price without blinking and even loaded it into my shopping cart for me. They have my business going forward.

  • Debbie Tungatt

Shannan has been helping us plan our new kitchen and our experience couldn’t be better! She is incredibly knowledgeable, creative and detail-oriented. We are thrilled with what she has come up with and can’t wait to see it installed. I have already been referring her to friends. I just want to add, she is also an absolute hoot! Who thought we would laugh so hard at home improvement store. Thanks, Shannan for everything!

  • Enaiyat Ghani Ovy

My experience was positive at this hardware store. This is a huge Lowe's store. I was looking for two inch one way valve or backflow valve that I couldn't find in other stores. I had also found some other things from my shopping list. Although it's a big store, the items are nicely organized in the shelves. Moreover, there were enough staffs working at that time. I would definitely recommend this place for your project.

  • Laura

Teresa was amazing. My mother travelled a bit of a distance to get a dyson vacuum that was on sale and the stock was lost at the time. Teresa went above and beyond to not only find the missing stock, but also offer my mother a better model for a discount which made the price similar to the one she went in for. They truly care about customer satisfaction and they have kept these 2 customers for a long time

  • Dean C.

the one at portia drive in Ancaster really sucks no one to help the staff is really young and do not know what their doing compared to other lowes stores this one really only deserves one star and not even that stay away if you can go anywhere else do yourself that favor I have been in renovations for 40 years and I know a good hardware store when I am in a good one like HOME HARDWARE OR HOME DEPOT

  • Vita Lucas

I found a happy, helpful worker in the garden center and got excellent help from a man who gave me useful advice in the plumbing department. I have only had great service in those two departments before and after the change from Lowes, oddly. I only give it 4 stars because of the flying bugs that had drilled through the spring bulb packages. I am interested to see if the other service improves.

  • Kim H.

Most visits when require assistance staff are near. Good selection. Parking is adequate. Store is kept clean and tidy. Seasonal items are good quality and reasonably priced. Garden and barbeque departments are well stocked, " in season". We appreciate their charcoal choices. If inventory is low or at zero, restocking is done promptly. An issue recently was addressed and resolved "in no time".

  • Roberta McQuade

I shop at Lowes because of their customer service. Nothing is too much trouble for their staff. Today was no exception. The service was stellar! Kudos to Tracy who helped me with my initial order, Staci who helped me today with adjustments to the initial order and Mandy who helped me with delivery dates. I hope Lowes will recognize these three employees for outstanding customer service.

  • Val N

I went a few days ago to look at Vanities. I went back tonight to find out that same vanity went up $200. I didn't understand how because the vanity wasn't on sale. I spoke to customer service who basically told me they couldn't do anything, and wouldn't honor the original price. How does a product go up $230 in a few days. I won't be buying my vanity here that's for sure.

  • Jeff Tinson

Lowe's staff let us in slightly past close to quickly get an item. They were friendly and relatively helpful. Well lit, clean, vast. They are very well stocked for the most part, and if not, they will order your item in. Lowe's has a 90 day return policy with the exception of certain products. They also offer truck rentals. This is one store I could spend an entire day in.

  • Jenny C

Good thing products sell them selves. Staff is the worst it’s as if everyone working there is new. Product is is the wrong areas mixed up. Workers have zero knowledge of anything and can only scan items. With technology I could scan items myself and just self serve. Very disappointed. Getting support is just as useless as well. Will try to stick to the other company’s

  • Steven Weber

They were short staffed and I had to wait too long to purchase a seven hundred dollar hand tool (emergency purchase during work hours)....BUT once someone started helping me, she was a delight to deal with!!! When paying for my purchase, they helped me save money with their VIP program!! I very much prefer Lowe's over that other "depot" place and ALWAYS go back!!

  • Sarah Gerencser

This place is huge! Tons of variety in lots of price points for everything from toilets to ceiling fans to lumber! Their paint department is also massive with a large variety of colours in each brand as well as finishes in the base paints. I'm usually a Home Depot person just because it's where I've always gone but I'll be going to Lowe's from now on.

  • Emily Cornejo

Scott, Sue and BK were extremely helpful last month when my parents got a dryer. They were in a rush to get a machine the same night. These 2 associates made it happen for them. Amazin service. We unfortunately missed the deadline to leave a review with the link on the website, so here we are. Highly recommend. Great service all around! Amazing job!!

  • Lauren

Very busy and not much to choose from. Sold out of a lot and not many people working who are around to assist you. Purchased a solar gazebo light and it had previously been purchased. No one checked the box as it was all mangled inside and batteries out as well screws bouncing around in the box. Hoping the light will work and wont have to return.

  • Reid C

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Worst customer service ever, got hung up on 4 times in a row. Would not hold a product for me to exchange for a faulty one bought the previous day. I try to support Canadian business but screw you Lowe's, Home Depot has my business from here on out. Don't even get me started on the useless staff.

  • Stefy Smells

Absolutely grateful for Cheryl’s assistance today looking for a washing machine to fit where my old machine was. She went above & beyond to help with measurements, to get it shipped ASAP & make sure the delivery men can pickup my dead machine & replace with new. Thank you so much for your help our angel Cheryl, xo Stephanie & Vince

  • Jimmy Lats

Lowes used to be my goto big box but not any more. Unless I am looking at big buys like appliances there are few staff in sight. No cashiers today, self checkout only. And plastic bags at checkout are no longer available. I piled armfuls of loose items in my car I'll shop at Lowes again I'm sure but I'll hit the other chains first

  • Chris Bowman

Staff is doing a great job trying to keep the flow moving. It has to be hard with volume of orders and some customers who have unrealistic expectations. Management is awesome as well. They are professional and very easy to talk to. And again they stepped up to help me out of a Jam! Better than having all the stuff in my garage!

  • Timothy Strange

A Scottish fella named Gerry helped us with some flooring questions we had. What a beauty! Give this man a raise! He was so friendly, and informative. Told us a bunch of tips and things to look out for, and walked us all over the store to find what we needed. They don't make 'em like Gerry anymore. Take care of that man.

  • Derek C

Looking for electric switches and plugs, they only sell by individual prices and no deals on larger quantities - i needed 20 of each. Was only able to buy 13 and 10 of each kind as inventory was low. This is a pretty common item, they should have larger quantities available. Price is okay, staff are hard to find lately.

  • Ode Depths

I absolutely love this store! If you're looking for any supplies. This is your place. I go here quite often for plants, pots, and bricks. It has a very easy layout, lots of items, good stock, and friendly staff. I couldn't ask for anything better from a store. I would definitely recommend going here if you have the time

  • Roberto Alomar

Absolute terrible service at this location. Trevor and Ozzy love to hide out when there’s a small fire on their hands… most associates are useless the rest are too simple to handle a task.. please never shop here at this location. Service is absolute bottom of the barrel.. and for Hamilton that’s a pretty deep barrel

  • Jim Baillie

Went to the new Rona store at Woodward and Barton looking for a very particular part for a pocket door that your orange competitor couldn't find. After talking to Bruce and Shaun they managed to hunt down the exact part I needed. My door is fixed and I'm happy and so is my wife! Thanks guys for the great service!!!

The unit I purchased had issues so I had to return it. Service was slower than expected due to problems finding the original order on their system. Once they could find it, had no issues exchanging the item. Other than that the staff was polite and helpful, I would take this service over Home Depot any day.

Typical large hardware store, same as all other Lowe’s. Got what I was looking for but as with previous experiences at Lowe’s nobody ever asked me if I needed help. I did not need any help but it’s a big contrast to my local Home Depot where there is almost always someone checking to see if you need help.

  • Mark Hall

The cleanliness and customer experience while shopping at this location could be improved. Staff are helpful, but the store feels dirty and unorganized at times. Pallets of merchandise are left In the aisles unattended, navigating around blocked aisles is extremely frustrating - especially on a weekend!

  • Krystal C

My #1 hardware store. Way better than Home Depot. More selection on products and customer service is great. Also, you can actually find staff to help you when you need it with their easy button system that will page someone to come directly to you if no ones around. Home Depot should take some notes.

  • Greg G (JJ)

Customer service has a horrible attitude. Customers mean nothing to them. Custom orders in the bathroom department did an excellent job and finished the work ahead of schedule. Great choice of marble finishes to choose from at great prices. The department staff are very helpful if you can find one.

  • Joanne Brigmantas

This was a great place to place to window shop for inspiration for kitchen reno. They have such great displays, far better than their big box competitor. Also there was lots of staff readily available to answer questions and look up information. All of this influences my decision to shop here.

  • James Dietrich

Lowe's was well stocked with a variety of goods ranging from light fixtures to power tools. I was pleasantly surprised to see the price of lumber has finally come down. Eight foot 2 x 4's were $3.99 each, compared to $7.99 a few months ago. Staff was very pleasant and easy to talk to .

  • Tee Bee (Teebee)

Had what I needed. It's layed out differently than my local Lowe's so I needed to ask some associates for help. Most of them just pointed go that way... Didn't give me a ton of help. There was a super nice gentleman in the flooring section that took me right where I needed to go.

  • Sue Leger

I went into Lowe’s to look around. Had the best salesman. He pointed out things that I wouldn’t even have thought of. I ended up buying a vanity and handles. It was such a wonderful experience. Thank you Mike for being so kind and patient and helping us load our purchase.

  • Mark Principi

DID A REVIEW ON THIS STORE YEARS AGO WHEN IT WAS A LOWE'S . THE STORE WAS EXCELLENT BACK THEN AND STILL IS AS IT HAS TRANSFORMED INTO A RONA STORE. THERE ARE LOTS OF CHOICES FOR YOUR HOME NEEDS AND REPAIRS. THE STORE IS VERY CLEAN AND THE STAFF ARE HELPFUL AND FREINDLY.

  • pjs _crew

they have 30 people standing around and 2 cashiers. might apply for a job here so i can sit around and do nothing all day. UPDATE came back today and an employee named ray was awesome, knew exactly what i was looking for. awesome experience this time.

  • Rob

Had what I needed, everything seemed tidy, organized and huge selection. I went there for illuminated light switches which I couldn't find at two other stores. Not Lowe's but other companies and wasn't able to find them but found them at Lowe's

  • Hedia B

I think Lowe’s wants to go out of business! Went there few days ago. I asked for help few minutes after I walked in, instead of helping me, the associate sent me to an isle and said go and ask them, except that when you get to that isle, no

  • Silver Staples

Lowe's is a great box store that, unlike its Orange competitor, is Canadian(edit: was Canadian) too and doesn't fund Trump's campaign with millions of dollars. Friendly, knowledgeable staff always at the ready to lend a helping hand or some

  • Sarah Richer

This review isn’t for the store, it’s for their silver-haired plumber-knowledge-god of an employee Alex. That guy is a true gem whose knowledge prevented my family from connecting the fan they were installing in my bathroom ceiling to my

  • Richard Adler

Very disappointed in Lowes. Drove a fair distance to buy advertised plants on sale in the garden centre and couldn’t find them. I found some almost dead plants on the clearance cart but they weren’t properly priced . I wasn’t paying full

  • Ben C

We were in need of an appliance immediately, Meg in the department went above and beyond to check available stock, gave us 3 options and we were able to driveaway with our new purchase. Much better experience than CAS location.

  • Glenn Martin

Worst service money can buy. Na kidding, there was actually zero service. Worst would have been an upgrade. Lowes staff were good but these folks? Clueless and lazy. I'll drive the extra 5 min and go to home depot from now on.

  • Andrew Vanderwoerd

Looked all over the city for basic vinyl blinds. For some reason Home Depot only sell vinyl blinds that tilt but don't lift now. Came to this Lowe's and found exactly what I was looking for, and they look fantastic!

  • jjph1066

I've been surprised about how overpriced things are. Just soffit, fascia and 4 pod lights for a shed. Soffit and fascia was 3.5 times more expensive than the roofing supply across the road and the 4 pod lights

  • Jaya Bobbiti

Sharron in the lighting department was exceptionally good. Although there was a line up, she took time with all the customers. She patiently discussed with me different vanity lighting options. I also needed

  • Rebecca Banky

We went to pick up some seasonal boughs and garlands to decorate for Christmas. Somehow a week into December no one has any anymore, save for Lowes, where we got some lovely options that have held up nicely.

  • Charlene Miller

The most kind and helpful man at the Hamilton Barton street location working in the plumbing section today around 630 pm (July 8th). It's kind and very knowledgeable staff like him that keep me going there.

  • Chantal D

Went there a few days ago looking for tiling information and supplies. Gerry was very friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to help us with all our questions! He made our Rona trip a great experience!

  • christel braunschweig

Very good service. The employee Harmandeep was able to tell me everything I needed to know, including fixing my multiple things around my condo. I highly recommend going here, and asking for Harmandeep.

  • Mar Moy

Very good place to do business with. They let me park my rv there for a short time. Things I need for my rv I bought it from them instead of buying it from someone else. Great place very helpful.

  • B Morris

Employees in the flooring section were super helpful in assisting us find what we needed. Insanely long time to check out of the garden department though, they definitely need to hire more staff.

  • Charlene Dokter

I've never left unhappy or unable to finish a project, from covering candy red walls, to a home made turtle tank, if I had trouble with a project, they helped me do it. The staff are wonderful.

  • Thomas Gauthier

The people don't seem to want to help you, they're just standing around. I mean, most people like going outdoor are totally lost. So what go to a place that there's never any help voluntarily?

  • Dylan Gadwa

Whole staff was great - we spoke with a few people - but I wanted to add a special word of thanks to Bev who was patient and helpful to us making some decisions for our kitchen redesign.

  • Jb Craig

Absolutely horrible thought it would be better than Lowe's But nothing has changed. Came in looking for a 180 receptacles/boxes outdoor and indoor and wiring. No one to help or assist

  • SH

Lowe’s is an awful store. If you are trying to find tiling clips and supplies don’t look there. They never have anything in stock. Maybe that is why they recently got bought out.

  • R Elisabete Brito

This store is amazing. Every single employee loves to help and they’re always very friendly. Especially the gentleman cutting wood. My favourite Lowe’s location 1000%!!!

  • Shane Desloges

Needed some varnish brushes.. got some purdy XL to get my job done from here because no badger brushes were available From Lee valley… supply chains are still busted

  • M

Marilyn in the tile department is awesome !! We've had the worst experience dealing with pitton Plumbing but coming to Rona and speaking with Marilyn was great.

  • Katrina Waterman

1"×4"×6' or 8' pine boards all warped & chipped $15. Should be scrap also web says they have 4' but nothing ! In store Home Depot has more to choice from

  • Andrea Boyko

Lots of selection available. Huge box store. Staff were attentive and helpful. We found what we didn’t expect to find. Will return.

  • Scynthe

Absolute worst curbside pickup experience ever. 18 reserved spots that when you pull into one and call they just tell you to

  • D M

Don’t bother going to this Lowe’s. The management is lacking and appears that the store doesn’t even care to make sales.

  • Doug

Lots of great deals but we had to self check out which is not a big deal, but sometimes it's nice to have the option.

  • Nikunj Patel

Great experience. Can get almost everything you require to renovate or built. All tools and accessories available

  • Chris

Love me some lowes. Cheap cedar trees right now for $30. We buy a lot from this place. Better than home depot.

  • Celyn Talaue

Great customer service! Not as many employees around, but those who are around are very friendly and helpful!

  • Catherine Laporte

Great assortment, prices and amazing service from Trevor and the team. Great to see Rona in Hamilton :)

  • Amir Hakimi-Rezaei

Liked it better when it was called Lowe's. Still so much better than the homeless depot though …
