I just purchased maytag appliances. I can tell you where I DID NOT Purchase them from, and that's Rona. Prior to spending money I did some research. Rona seems to have the best price, plus with the air miles, I was convinced it was the best deal. I came to your store on Monday. I could not find a sales associate, neither could anyone else. The customer service people called for a manager. I was there for 45 minutes. I was actually reluctant to leave as I felt that a house full of appliances would give me enough airmiles to take a trip. Eventually I was greeted by an associate who knew nothing about appliances. She gave me your card but could not tell me when or if you were coming in. She did a fine job convincing me that RONA was not the place to shop. Delivery would be delayed if my item was in stock, and that was a big if. if it was not in stock it could be weeks or months. She further told me that likely nothing from the flyer was in stock. I told her that I had $5,000 in my purse. I no longer have $5,000 as I purchased a fridge, microwave, stove with range hood etc. I am going to get the matching dishwasher shortly. In the near future, I will be getting the front loading washer and dryer that I have been looking at, I'm just trying to decide on the colour. Can you please share my email with the store manager, if there is one OR provide me with contact info. I really think someone should know that there are lots of people like me that want good service and quality, and likely own homes or rental units or a combination of both.

Horrible horrible customer service!! Was looking for a specific cedar board and they clearly didn't have it online. I called multiple times to only be transferred 3 times and put on hold for 20 minutes! Finally found out that they do have it in store... but how was i supposed to order it online, if it wasn't posted online?! I decided to drive there myself and see if they possibly could place the order in person for me and I could pick it up later whenever. I drove there to see the boards I need in the yard, and I go up to the lady to ask her to do it for me and she responds with "Figure it out online, place the order there we can't do it. NEXT CUSTOMER!" Excuse me?? I wasn't finished speaking with this lady yet she dismissed me so quickly. As i was still parked at front after this interaction, I decided to once again call them and perhaps place it over the phone. One lady picked up and said she could place the order for me if I called back in a couple minutes because she was busy. I waited 5 minutes and called back. A different woman picked up claiming that there is only 2 people working here and that there is no way someone could've told me that they would place the order over the phone for me. Anyway. That woman said they'd call me back and would you look at that 2 days later still no call. Thanks for wasting my time guys!

I ordered the same day deliver online which did come that day. That was good. What wasn’t good is their ridiculous cap on the number of pieces of items they would deliver (49) which required me to go to the store anyway to pick up another 12 of the 6 foot 1” X 6” treated lumber pieces I needed for the same project anyway. According to their site which I played around with I could have removed 10 of the 1 X 6 boards which were extremely light weight wise from the delivery order and replaced them with 10 more of the gigantic extremely heavy 10 foot 6 X 6 posts and that would still qualify for the delivery. It wasn’t about weight. It was the number of pieces. Bizarre. I kept getting emails to review the items yet the site never worked to leave a review. So this is what I got. Treated 6 X 6s that cracked and split within days, one from top to bottom, multicolored 1 X 6 that were advertised as brown, some were split and a few were not bowed but actually curved sideways and heavy duty gate hinges that bent under the moderate weight of the 4.5’ gate. Not impressed with any of the products.

I deal with this rona on a regular basis for work. I order my the pressure treated materials from here for the company I work for. Craig at the contractors desk is 100 percent reliable and highly informative. During this past year we have all had our difficulties in one way or another. Ours and many others was the availability of pressure treated lumber. Shortages and non available materials never really heard of.. during this time I had I high dependence on Craig for information on availability of materials. He came through for me when ever possible and even to the point of giving me updates from time to time on the availability. The rest of the people who deal with customers in the lumber area are great people and allways ready to help you out. My deliveries are alllways on time and we are treated well by all at Rona Martin Grove. I find almost anywhere.. if you treat people with respect and not act like some pampas big time contractor.... you get it back.. Thanks Craig... and all the guys and gals that treat us so well. I went to this Rona who had advertised the Government of Canada 25% rebate on select major appliances. I took a look around and found some models that I liked. I wanted to understand what the total cost would be after all discounts and taxes applied. I couldn't find anyone on the floor so I went to check-out. They told me that the model I selected was not part of the promotion even though it was in the section with balloons and signs on the appliances advertising the promotion. I then asked if I could have someone help me find the models that were part of the promotion. They told me no one from the appliance department was in. I then asked if I could speak to the manager. They told me he was on lunch. I asked them to page him anyways. The manager showed up and I proceeded to ask questions about appliances. He just told me, no one is here from appliances but they'll be in tomorrow. I ended up leaving and purchasing my appliances somewhere else. Even though this Rona is close to me, I don't intend on shopping at this location again.

Went in there today, Oct 24th, 6:30 pm to buy 2 LvLs, someone got two for me from a big pile , then went to the cashier to pay, she was looking for the bar-code, then Allen came to confuse the whole situation saying they cannot sell lvls at this time, Such a fiasco, he told me this after making me wait while he couldn’t find the barcode made me wait 20 mins. Than said he could not sell them, i said ok im going to homedepot to buy 2x10s he said oh wait i can sell you those! Complete lack of skill on his part. He did not want to sell the lvl because he was not able to walk outside to get the barcode. Certain staff in this location just brings down this store! And loss of sales . Such a joke this place, such a disorganized staff, Allen, lack of common sense and customer service! Apparently they can only sell certain items at certain times at this location. Keep ur pile of lvls. And Rona- learn to teach your staff customer service skills.

Disrespect, lies, entitlement. A gang took over Rona Martin Grove. Wednesday February 1st, 15:00, paid and went to pick-up a bag of insulation. A huge very young guy came draging a half open bag with the fiberglass overflowing from the plastic bag. I refused the bag and asked for a good bag. He took the forklift and went to get the bag. 20 mins later another guy came with another bag also riped on the side and end and fiberglass very dirty saying this was all they had. Looked on the on line stock and saw 28 in stock. Went to ask for the manager. The lady said that there might be more in another location and that I will get a clean unoppened bag. About another 10 mins, the young guy came kicking along a dirty bag, this time opened only a bit at an end. The bag was dirty, I took it as I really needed it. A shame for the kind of working environment that should be an example for the young.

I had placed an order online for pickup. When I arrived, I clicked on the link in my order email stating that I was parked at the designated spot, no response. So I called the phone # listed on the curbside pickup sign. Lady told me to come inside to pickup my order. When I was inside, it was so disorganized, they didn't really know what they were doing. What is the point of having curbside pickup option if no one helps you at the curbside! Zero customer service inside! When I walked outside to my vehicle with my heavy purchases, a kind employee offered to help and helped me load my purchases in my vehicle. He was very nice, I wish he was the person working at customer service instead of the lady. The only good thing about this place was the kind employee outside and having stock on what I needed. I would not bother returning to this location.

This location is unlike traditional box stores (Home Depot/Lowe's). It is effectively a large lumber yard attached to a smaller footprint hardware store and no garden centre (other than a couple of racks with plants). The set up probably serves contractors well, with many "builder quality" products, large selection of construction material and supplies, outdoor design services, and dedicated contractors entrance. If you are undertaking a major construction project, or are a contractor, this would be a good fit. If you want to renovate your kitchen or bath with the latest decor trends or want a huge selection of decorative items such as rugs, it's not as strong as a traditional Home Depot or Lowe's. The notable exception being the paint department which easily rivals Home Depot or Lowe's.

Went into the shop on Belfield to place an order for my contractor to replace my HVAC system and some other plumbing stuff, but all the guys were just making themselves look busy, there was only me and 2 other customers in the place. As I'm standing waiting to be served next the guys starting talking about going for lunch instead of taking care of customers, the one guy just kept walking back and forth from front to back looking around, but doing nothing. It's like they were avoiding coming to the counter. It's a really uninviting environment and staff will ignore unless you're a regular or I guess have the look of a "contractor"....so I took my over $5k of business elsewhere

I ordered almost 70,000 lumbers & trusses from them and I do not recommend them at all. First of all they priced very more than their competitive such as Velcan. Although they price matched (hopefully I received quotes from others), they did not provide a proper service. After not using lumbers worth 4,000$ and applying for refund, they refunded less than 1200$ saying the lumber wasn’t in a good shape when even if it was correct which was not because we checked everything before they picked them up from the site, they should have been more considerate when the customer’s contract is a considerable amount. We were in contact with Charlie Latino the whole time.

Unfortunately I have experienced very poor customer service at this location. I have been trying to obtain any information/guidance about how to purchase an item. I called multiple times to this location (within 2 weeks), was placed on hold then disconnected. Once I called back (twice) they took down my name and number. A phone call was never returned. I want to order an item that on their website says to call the location. It shouldn't be this hard to talk to a person! I understand covid restrictions are making times difficult but a customer should not have to chase a store for business this hard!

It was my first time coming to Rona I usually just go to Canadian tire or something. The experience was bad because I wanted a lawn mover but no one was around to help us. So I went to the front desk to ask for help. They called some one in. A Indian guy, who said he will help and told me to wait 5 mins. I waited around 20-30 mins the. Went looking for him. Just to find him helping someone else. Then I confronted him he then tells me again to wait 5 mins because we want to get a manual or something. It took him too long and I am not free all day. We waited almost 40-50 mins then left.

I was helped by an associate who went way beyond the regular customer service we are all experiencing everywhere you go lately. They did not carry the line I needed a replacement part for so (forgive if I get the spelling wrong ) Saete the associate searched for the company and located them in Mississauga this was 330 pm she says they close at 430 so I thanked her and headed off . Arrived at Taymore fixtures explained my dilemma and within 5 minutes the gentleman came back with the part and wouldn't take payment. Exemplary people still walk this land bless both of these individuals .

One cash register opened...long slow line...had troubles with the pricing of one of the items I was purchasing. Price on the shelf was $5.99, price at the register was $7.99 ...getting a price check was just as slow as the line up to pay. I ended up having to do the price check myself by going back to the location and taking a picture of the item...what poor service. This was my 1st time to this Rona location there is one close to my home that I refuse to go to as well. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else, that wants your business and has better customer service.

Terrible customer service. Will never shop at Rona (or Lowes who owns Rona). Ordered wood for curbside pickup, small order only a few pieces. Received notification that Order ready for pickup. Arrived at store and after waiting 1-hour in parking lot for curbside pickup was told that it will take them another 3-hours for an employee to pick-up wood from shelf. LMAO...like I'm going to wait another 3-hours. I couldn't believe it. Only time I'll return to this location is for its bankruptcy liquidation. Which judging by its current level of customer service is only weeks away.

This is a terrible place. I placed an online order. When I arrived at the curbside to pickup my order, I called and called and called, but nobody answered the phone. When I asked an associate who was delivering other people orders in the parking lot as to what was going, he didn't seem to care. His answer was "there is only one phone and only one person answers the phone" and walked away. as a customer I practically got stuck in the parking lot, not knowing where to go next as the phone wasn't answered and the associate walked away.

Very slow, very bad organized process for curbside pick-up. Waited 30 minutes after getting a response "Your order will be there momentary". What does it mean "Your order is ready for pick-up" in RONA terms? Is it so complex task to put at least two or three people on taking orders out from the store? Also pay attention to emails you send. They look pretty much unfinished. As a customer I would like to see the company name in the From field and something like "Your order is ready" in the email subject.

This Rona is in the middle of an industrial area, I believe there's a Rona Business office attached to it. Building seems old and weathered on the outside but a regular Rona inside. I came here for black (mechanics) latex gloves. For something so common I don't usually check the website if the store has stock. I still like going in for things and do some window shopping while I'm there. They actually didn't have any. After checking the website in the store, it's only sold online. Geez, oh well.

I went to look for commander circuit breaker. I asked for help and was wrongly advises by one employee. It took three employees to unlock the cabinets and search for my commander circuit breaker.... Note: nobody reached their own Rona Computer..... This should have been done immediately. I left telling them ,I would return with the broken one Note: I found the breaker under a different name at Home Depot. Note: Again, I had to do the search online and leg work at home depot also.,

Had previously bought wood for my project at home depot where they were rude didn't help me load and had me waiting almost an hour for some 2x4s. Came to rona today and had the total opposite experience. As soon as I pulled in I was helped and directed to the lumber yard. There the sales associate Donovan was amazing. He not only helped us load our wood he also helped us pick pieces that were suitable to our project. Will only be purchasing my lumber at this location from now on.

Crossed the city to get a product that said, online, they had 43 in stock. Was immediately told they're sold out. Not only of that particular stock, but all types of that product. I mentioned that online it said they had a lot available. "No. It's inaccurate". Then FIX IT. This isn't a case of 'we thought we had 1 or 2 left but it's inaccurate or we just sold out', it said 43 available. What a waste of time. Whoever is responsible for keeping accurate inventory should be fired.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT for COSTUMER SERVICE. I talk to one employee to ask for help, but told me to go back there and wait, I have been waiting for 20 minutes and no one came! Talk to another employee call again on phone for costumer service 10 mins later No one comes. Ask the lady in cashier call costumer service again 5 minutes later No one comes. Took too much time for one Item that I can't find. Never gonna come back in this Location.

Very slow service, contractor desk lady don't guide you well, where you have to go and from where you pick up stuff. She give me invoice and said park car over there and wait there for your turn, after waiting 1 hour they said you have to come in line up and they we will load the stuff, it means you are jusy waiting the time of your customers . When someone calls on their number , they didn't pick up the call for 10 minutes.

This entire organization is messed up. Couldn't make a return since the purchase was from Rona+. No instructions or anything on the receipt telling customers Rona and Rona+ aren't merged yet. The old Lowe's location in my area closed and the other location is decimated with construction and traffic. Lowe's was horrible and it looks like Rona will continue their poor reputation. Should have stuck with home Depot.

I went to buy flowers that were advertised in the flyer. None. I asked the woman at the front cash when they were coming, I got a very poor attitude and a "I don't know." Hand on hip and chatting with another emoloyee, I was obviously interfering with their "private time." So with a bad attitude, bad customer relation, there is no need to shop here, there are lots more stores around this area. Shame on you!

Completely renovated with official opening day tomorrow, June 14. I could not recognize the interior. The parking lot was familiar however when I walked into the store, I tought I entered the wrong Rona. Lol. Samra was extremely helpful with the mix up on last weekends promotion. She call the manager and they helped me out. Very satisfied with the service. Samra, thank you again.

He is very knowledgeable and helped me find everything I needed for my bathroom reno. project, and within my budget. I had an excellent shopping experience at this store, and I would choose this store for my future projects.

I called and talked to them 4 times, different day, regarding LVL beams. They told me they would check their stock and called me back. They never did. I called them couple more times, leaving my name and phone number for them to call back. Still nothing happened. As a Canadian, I feel bad that we lost our businesses to our neighbor, the American because of services like this.

Went into the store to buy chimney screws. Says seven in stock. 4 people tell me to find someone else, last person can’t find them and left. Last time I was in to price match and left as they were being extremely difficult. Manager called me and offered me the price check. Had to go back in to complete the transaction. These employees are terrible and expect this at Walmart

Horrible service and very deceitful staff, good things i didn't open the 5K in flooring as yet because that the baseboards and accessories are going back. Was treated good for that purchase but ill-treated for a 39.99 purchase. Same customer, same wallet, 39.99 item is for the same project. Train your staff to be courteous on the phone, and don't try to trick customers.

Went to pick up an online order because the closer location didn't have stock. Service was very slow. We waited for about 10 minutes for our order when there were ZERO other customers. I went to get the product off the shelf myself but they didn't have stock on display, it's all in the warehouse. Terrible set-up for customers who just want to buy something quick.

Rona is the only place I shop for my business, today I bought alot of door handles from rona and the sales associate was clueless of the products sold there , and he was very short tempered , and rude, on top of his 100 percent ignorance. I was very disappointed with today's rona incounter. I will never ask any associat for help in that location , ever.

I called them TWICE asking if they could cut up the plywood I ordered so that I could fit it in my car just to be sure for curbside pickup. They said yes both times. When I came to pick it up they told me that they cant do any cutting due to the pandemic. I asked them to check again. Then they came back and said that the saw was broken. How convenient.

It is a large warehouse that you can buy all your home hardware and accessories. Compared to the nearest home hardware store Homedeport some items are little expensive and most are in the same value range. However the customer service is far better than Homedeport. I recommend this place as a good substitute if you wish to save your time.

Horrible customer service. Watched two employees help one lady find a light bulb for 15 mins. Asked the front to page someone for help, waited 15 more minutes, went and found an employee for her only to help 2 other people while "helping" us. How much work and waiting do I have to do to spend $600?! Absolutely horrible. Will not go back

Horrible experience with online order pickup. I waited 40 minutes for one piece of wood to be brought to my car, after calling multiple times waiting in the parking lot. No apologies were made, they do now know the true meaning of client experience. Do not go to this location, home depot is less than 2 minutes away.

Another terrible experience. Would not honour a price adjustment from a Rona+ store even though the flyer is for both. ITS THE SAME COMPANY!!!! Just like they put Lowe’s out of business. Rona will soon be out of business too. Everything is always so difficult and customer service is obviously not their priority.

He mentioned that he normally does not work in the paint department, but he took initiative and was able to help us find the perfect shade of blue for our bedroom! Smoke detectors were all mixed up in the aisle. It was confusing to match the price with the item. There was a young man who helped me find a particular item and we looked through the stock and found it together. He was very helpful which I really appreciated.

This is a fairly good store in terms of its size and availability of tools and hardware that I usually need. However, the signage can be improved because I was going north on Martin Grove and I couldn't see the store's sign on the south side of the building.

Only came to Rona and this location given specific replacement part inventory. Terrible store all in all. Online order pickup process was non-existent. Customer service doesn't exist. There wasn't a soul to be found on the floor if you remotely needed help.
