Went there to get a clasp added to my gold necklace, when it came back there were certain artefacts which were not present before. Each link in the chain was also dissimilar to what it was before, they were distinctly more hexagonal, now they're more circular. Confirmed this with my mother, whom was given the necklace by her mother. Also, what was a straightforward job was delayed by about a week, one excuse was that he hadn't picked it up from the workshop as he was a bit late opening the shop. The excuse after was because it wasn't ready yet, I was quoted a two day wait initially. He could not explain why there was a change in the piece and also denied anything could have gone wrong. Still do not know what actually happened. It was also not weighed immediately prior to handing in, although a different piece I also handed in was, so was overlooked by both of us. I SHOULD have taken closer images of the entire piece before giving it in. I've reported it to the trading authority, just in case there are more people whom have had a similar strange service. Other than that, prices are very competitive as all their gold is on hand. Just make sure to take very accurate pictures and accurately weigh the piece yourself and, again, while there. Would have avoided the entire situation!

The chain they recommended me was not only their customers favourite, but a very superb eye-catching design! Once the desired selection was made, a payment was made everything went smoothly. After a while, I felt the size of chain was small and needed to be bigger. The next day I returned to the store explaining the situation. Measurements were made and we agreed a bigger chain would look better. A new bigger sized chain with the same design was available and I was happy to pay the extra difference. From beginning to the end of my shopping experience with ram jewellers, I was very impressed with their reliable kind warm service. I will definitely be returning here in future for sure.
