The year back concept does not exist in any other universities in India or anywhere else in the world. We all are aware that student is going to lose a complete year if they get a year back. Wasting a year only to pass a subject is entirely unfair. Only the student having year back can feel the burden of it. They get the pressure from parents and society which results in few student losing their life. In day to day newspaper we come to know about the suicide of the students due to this year back. Also, the schedule of MSRSUAS has to be changed to facilitate learning process. It’s high time for management to realize that sufficient time should be given to students personal life too. NIT’s, IIT’s & all top foreign Institutes have 5 day week classes & no of classes per day is also less allowing the students sufficient time to de stress. Commuting in Bangalore traffic is an herculean & time consuming task further increasing pressure on students. How can one expect the student to recover back under these circumstances? Engineering isn’t spoon feeding! Institute should provide ample scope for skilling, group activities, participation in competitions which broadens student’s perspective & thereby enhances their confidence in facing the challenges of the Corporate World. Kindly take out this myopic view of 8am to 5pm classes assuming classrooms are the only place of learning & Professors is the best source. Focus should be shifted from long classroom hours to skill development so that students gain confidence on able to learn with Professors support. This will make them independent & prepares them mentally towards their professional career. Or else long classroom hours deprive them of their self confidence making them follow the same trend in a professional work environment too. They become eternal parasites in the learning process & there wont be professors at workplace to guide them. One shouldn’t forget that Bill Gates, Steve Jobs or Mark Zukerberg the Gaints were all college dropouts but revolutionized the world ! They are biggest employers offering dream jobs & packages to the topper techies ! Lets not limit the students ability by branding them as “back log students” & burden them with all psychological chains ! Let’s not kill their ambitions, dreams in the primitive stage itself taking away their entire liftetime of opportunities. Frustration & depression are the biggest threats to mankind ! It breeds social evils ! Let’s make the world a better place to live changing one life at a time ! Its high time our country needs every single person contribution towards our dream of being a developed economy & socially well off state !!

If you are planning to join this college please spend some time and read the full review Do not have high expectations . U can have moderate expectation Do not compared with MSRIT (MS Ramaiah institute of technology). Pros: You will find MANY faculties how are highly cooperative and extremely friendly and some (very few) faculty who will annoy u. Management is good WITH RESPECT TO syllabus updating , teaching. Small campus but the infrastructure is good Cons: If you're planning to come through MANAGEMENT QUOTA I would SUGGEST you have BETTER COLLEGE with respect to the price what you pay here . It is very difficult to spend your 4 years of time , you will easily get bored before 1st semester gets over , it in industrial area so no near by places to hangout. You will NEVER have that holistic experience of your engineering life which your friends my experience in other colleges. If u find somebody getting an high package (CTC eg 45LPA) in this college the complete credit goes to the student. If you have any doubt regards the college wtr to computer science department or planning to join u can definitely ask me.

Great experience at the college of hotel Management ! The College of Hotel Management at Ramaiah University combines a highly professional setup with just the right personal touch. The college provides an environment which makes the transition from school to college smooth. Process-driven, focused on practical skills and opportunities to directly interact with the industry right from the first semester are some of the high points. The university stands out as one of the few to be truly inclusive in nature offering opportunities for students of varying abilities. This is one of the most commendable task that the teachers have taken upon themselves , clearly identifying then needs of special children and also supporting and encouraging equal opportunities , which is the need of the hour in the Indian educational system .The college offers a host of cultural and extra-curricular activities, and both the faculty and senior management are warm and approachable. Indeed, a progressive place to be for a holistic college education.

Note : Apparently I can't give less than "1", Hey there, I am a passed out Graduate from "M.S.Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences" Here is my honest review or more of suggestion to you, if you want a better career opportunity please don't join here for your bachelor's degree. If you dream about a stable career this university is not for you, the reasons are below: 1. University is still new and has no strong alumni base, that's a major drawback because of this, university can't afford placements. Trust me all those placement record displayed is for name sake 2. University doesn't even have a stable marks card (evaluation method is very bad), ( yes I know how could that be?!) The second thing a recruiter looks to evaluate you is your marks card, if that is all gone bad, you can imagine the rest 3. Just don't go for it.

I have done PG Diploma in Railway signaling and Telecommunication from this college which charged 2.5 lakh rupees in 2019 They assured 100 percent placement with a starting salary of minimum 4 LPA. Iam waited for 17 month for placement and didnt get any placement. And iam working as a trainee engineer with a low stipend(tried by myself). Even the people conducting the course offers 20K per month stipend if we donot get job within100 days of completing the course(simply cheating and bluffing students),i didnt get any single rupees as compensation.but they havent given me a single rupees, even they arranged fake interviews for placements. Please dont be in trap

Overall college rating is nothing but nill, management is the worst. The senior officials are relaxing in thier position unware to the fact that system is becoming worthless. Examination Dept is one of them, they just keep roaming around and when we approach them they reply that they are really busy. Students are in thier own, hostel facilities are really worse. When complained too no action takes place, the university is being run under the free will of xyz people. Please do not join this college, it's nothing but scam. No facilities, oppertunities, no extra curricullars. In short hell among walls

Shall review only the infrastructure, went to the main admissions building and saw the CSE department. Labs and classes present, adequate infrastructure for a CSE undergraduate. Ofc the campus is small compared to various colleges. Also, take note that this is not MS Ramiah college of engineering. It is another campus. Of course with the ramiah tag. Can't comment much about the placement scenario, I prefer asking that from a present student/counsellor/alumni. Overall it is an okay college as per the facilities provided. Again the boy's hostel is outside the campus and the girls is inside.

  • SAI CHARAN CHILAMAKURI

Academics are also at Good level. Their curriculum is made in better way than many other colleges. When compared to other colleges extra Curricular activities are at low level. If one is looking for management seat then there are many other colleges in Bangalore which are better than this by paying the same or even less amount of fee. College should improve in many aspects like facilities etc . Placements are also good. Overall College is good, if you are getting admission through CET, but doesn't worth paying 3.5L per year through management quota

  • Nitin Bilagi

Worst college in the world. I'm from automotive engineering department. I did Mtech in this. The worst thing was HOD Raja is not concerned about the students. The other lecturers are totally useless. They don't even know how to reach students. They only know how to ruin students life and let them die in the market. The institution is most corruptive. They only want money. Nothing else. Actually they're beggars and lecturers are supervisors and officers are money collectors.

  • Mayura KR

A very good college for engineering. This college has aerospace engineering too. Curriculum is designed in a way that the student is well prepared for the industrial and corporate world. Very supportive for ideas and research. This college has a startups/business incubation centre supported and aided by the GOK. This college is situated in an industrial region and also the library is good .

  • Rahul Kushwaha

Very good campus.. Been there for exam purpose but the campus was good and the classroom were adequate and the labs were well Maintained. The outer part of building is covered with greenery and they also have goruond to play football basketball volleyball.. And also a sports complex... For indoor games. Overall the CAmpus Is very beautiful.

  • Varun ds

I am an mathematics and computing student in this college, currently in 3rd sem.The teachers here are friendly and have good knowledge about the subject, college infrastructure is continuously updating, sports and co-curricular activities are also conducted frequently, definitely its going to be one of the best college in the near future.

  • Belwin Shaju

It's just scam.Instead getting into main campus at new Bel road they have put us here in this nonsense college.First of all not at all proper teaching .No proper sports ground, canteen here is so bad, facilities arent there too much for what we are paying. They are just eating our money.Better find any other good college.

  • Kiran Hosur

very poor this institute exploit only students money in the name of fine penalaty & one more thing is its a deemed university ,more students percentage is 52 only they will not give marks if the answers are exactly correct this is not good collage but mathaekare branch is good

  • Mohan G

Placed within the famous Peenya Industrial Area and close to ABB, TVS, NTTF et al....well positioned for students to leverage both the excellent infrastructure of the University with its academics and the Industrial Area with its practical implementation opportunities

  • neha talwar

I visited the institute and I must appreciate that the staff was wonderful and very helpful. The students were well behaved and had a good knowledge of their subjects. I recommend this institute to all who wants to have a bright future in the industry

  • vignesh s
