With Metro across the street, I’m not sure why people shop for groceries here. I find a lot of the “fresh” food on the shelves close to (and sometimes past) its expiration date. They don’t sell good meat. The lines are long, and the cashiers are slow. They do sell beer though, along with clothes, and a bunch of other home goods.

Prices are high, and of course they have so many "2 for the price of" items where if you only buy one it's 1-2 dollars more. Unless I'm desperate, I refuse to buy any of these items. It's price gouging and unfair to single people, single parents, seniors and anyone on a tight budget.

I never really go to the real Canadian super store, but I feel like when I do go I never leave feeling disappointed. They have amazing hard working staff that is always ready to help at a moments notice. Also they seemingly have so much stock and more every time I have gone there.

This place has a wide variety of consumer goods. I can find most of things I am looking for here and do not need to go to another place to shop for food. They also have very interesting discount pricing that might be a bit difficult to understand
