Honestly this location is not up to full standards. I find that the staff at customer service are lazy, I went to obtain propane and this was an hour before the store closed and they told me that no one was there to help with the propane. I worked at superstore not this location which they are being lazy and not doing the simple job opening the little box with the keys behind the service desk and walking out to help with the simple task of obtaining propane. Now the one "person" that works there does everything from helping with loading groceries and electronics for people to their vehicles. is the person who is to do this task of propane now when I spoke to this person they explained that this has been going on for awhile "years" and I find this to be completely disappointing and for the people who work at customer service they are doing nothing they think it's okay for this one person to do all these tasks. Now as a customer we are to come first for workers not to understand this and refuse to help when they obviously can and don't it's a shame that this employee has to do everything while others do nothing. I am disappointed and annoyed by the fact of a form of belittling a person. Bottom line 3 days ago i was refusued help and 2 days ago it took over 25 min to be helped because the staff which was 2 worker's behind the counter waited for one person to come help when I know for a fact they are capable. The manager needs to address this and I find this to be simple bullies who target one person to do the simple task. As being a worker at superstore years ago I know that they are and can do it themselves. Lazy and disappointing staff. Simply a form of bullying that's my opinion.

This superstore downtown as we know has many people coming and going I witness the security guards push someone down the stairs and continue to pick him up and push him again into the automatic doors. It happened so quickly, they attempted to stop a man from shop lifting or suspected is the word. They were escorting him out of the building. For those who saw this were in shock and in awe the way they conducted themselves, these guards should be arrested for the excessive violence.and assault. The guard told a woman that spoke up that it wasn't right to do that. They said why don't you mind your own business to her, she had kids with her too clearly worried for the stranger as he was a person first. The female continues to say you know that ain't right. To them as That man was clearly hurt and they did nothing,or any consideration for who had witnessed. If the man they did this to, sees this I will testify against them with you. I have time and dates as well. Shame to those guards who now I see differently ,to the woman security guard .Dont put yourself in a position where they have to help you decide on your moral standards, that's an individuals decision. Hurting people for fun isn't your job. I've been back since and I'm watching. Trying to be a cop isn't the same as being one. Let the police do the policing.

This was my first & last time coming to this location.. I asked a worker if I could get some help they sent me to the wrong isle at first they said they were busy but clearly they weren't as they were just standing there... Never have I dealt with such rude workers & Supervisor or not sure if that was the manager.. When she first came up to me she was already making a stink look towards me, and then she waited by me like I was going to steal my groceries and wouldn't even provide me with a receipt. I will definitely be telling all my minority friends to be careful especially our indigenous peoples. This needs to stop.. Learn the true history before looking down on someone who is supporting your business.. DO BETTER SUPERSTORE... Smh not a happy customer. Let's see if they actually keep this post up. Rude, ignorant, and racist.

This is for the pharmacy...there was no body waiting in line and no one waiting for pick up when I was quoted 1/2 an hour for a box of ear drops that was on the shelf behind counter and took minutes to process . I was on my way home from work and was very tired so I lied down on the floor to catch a couple zzzs while I waited. 3 different people interrupted my resting including the guy that took my script...asking if i was ok after 7 minutes and a security lookin guy after 32 minutes said I couldn't sleep there. I was mad at this point and the security guy went to the pharmacist , a different man than i dealt with, and told him I was waiting. Within minutes I was Paid for and gone. Totally could have been done by first guy. I may never go back

Went into superstore and they only have 3 cashiers working during mid day on a holiday! They have added a large number of self serve checkouts! I quit going to the Walmart in Deerfoot meadows for the same reason I will quit going to this superstore. The prices are high enough that they can afford to hire cashiers.. I hate putting through my own groceries and the line ups at the cashiers were 7 deep or more in each one! What is wrong with these managers that they think we should be our own cashiers!!! Bad enough this store closed one of their doors to get in and out of the store and now this! All the other superstores have reopened their second set of doors after Covid but not this one! I’m done with this location!

We feel humiliated at Real Canadian Superstore Heritage Meadows Calgary today. The woman in Customer Service today August 26 around 5:00pm yelled at us for entering the wrong way, the way she shouted us seems we are stealing something in fact our cart is empty. We rarely shop at this location and the store is very confusing of where the entrance is. The way she acted seems like shes the manager Launa Jones or I dont know. She yelled at us " What you guys doing".. We never did anything wrong and she want us to go back around. Please inform the manager of this store to put signage where is the entrance and exit and not confusing to customer. And also please TRAIN that woman in Customer Service not be RUDE....

This rating doesn't reflect the hard working front line staff at this store. It's definitely an accurate rating of the upper management & CEO and the drive to please the shareholders. A total rip off. My only goal on this trip was to spend all our saved up points as we've decided to only shop small grocery stores from this point on. We thrift and cut back while the shares have doubled in value since the pandemic. They're doing so well they're buying back shares on the open stock market. If enough of us simply stop shopping with a company that's price fixed bread before the pandemic, and more than likely raised prices by over 50% compared to the 8.5% inflation at its worst. Boycott them.

  • Mellowcanuck

You've fallen from my go to location to last resort, only because you are open until 11pm. The last two grocery runs with your new plastic bin policy has already curtailed my purchasing habits. Your self check out reminded me of a cattle feed lot. Who ever redesigned your store has ruined your brand. Your new meta is groceries for "cattle with a wallet." *If you can't answer in public then you are not a serious company. And not taking me seriously. Forget it. I did my part. Log the complaint. Address it or dont. I dont care. I wont be back.

Overall a decent place to purchase your groceries, though their prices have steadily gotten higher and higher making some things unpurchasable "luxuries" (A large bag of Rooster rice is $50?). The store is usually clean, the staff are usually helpful if asked and I haven't really had any issues shopping here. Though the way they have the new anti-theft gates set up can be inconvenient to navigate to customer service without setting off an alarm. Either way, it's a large store that normally has just about everything you need.

This is the ridiculous place to shop. Two managers don't know how to read a coupon. Clearly says in the coupon "any dove/dove men+care deodorant" but they insisting I can't buy the dove for female because the coupons says only for men. My Goodness. How did they become a manager? Simple coupon they can't understand... yes there's a particular person. I didn't get their name. But the manager who's on duty today. Nov. 08, 2023, this happened this morning.

I can always find what I need here. There is a great selection of products with great prices. It's nice having a Tim Horton's in the store because you sometimes like to have a coffee while you're shopping. I also like to use the optical section because you can get some good deals on glasses. However, one of the best things that the Real Canadian Superstore offers are the PC points. I ended up buying a patio set and a TV with my points.

  • Jen fer

Always consistently good. Always a smart place to shop. Wide selection of seafood, snacks, and groceries. The bulk spices are noteworthy. Just wish there were more staff walking around to ask for help. The prices are pretty low too. There's everything you could need. From food to health products to magazines and office supplies. There's a gym for only women, a medical clinic, eye clinic, pharmacy, and mobile phone store also within.

I haven't shopped in store with Real Canadian Superstore for a while. I was so glad that most of layout is the same so it was decently easy to navigate. Some items took us a bit to find (holiday Hors d'oeuvres) but we got there. The transition from bakery to meat feels awkward, I would hate to see it at a peak time. The checkout staff was amazing. The customer before us required extra care and the staff member handled her with ease

  • Sarah K.

The staff working at the customer sevice are always rude and not friendly. Their flashfood orders are always missing one or two. If the employee makes a mistake by posting an item that won't be there, then they should cancel it instead of customers wasting time and gas money to pick up an order that was never there. Poor services and don't care about the customers. I wish I could give zero! Google reviews should have zeron ratings!

I used to like coming here but something must have changed. I was flabbergasted when I saw yogurt that expired July 2023 still in the frige (today is Sept 3, 2023 - aka 2 months expired yogurt for sale - yummy!) The ones near the front had an expiration of Sept 3 so I reached to the back hoping to find a better date. To my suprise the expiration was in July (multiple of them!!!) Shocking and dangerous! Could get someone very sick.

First time at this location and found a great selection of products and many specials throughout the whole store. The place is very clean and spacious with wide aisles and good lighting. The aisles are well marked but I'd recommend allowing yourself some extra time to just wander and scout out the whole store. As with other Superstores there are clothing, housewares, pharmacy and a medical clinic. Overall a great experience.

  • Christine Moon

Horrible Customer Service Rep gave my items away to someone else and refused to make this right for me, imcluding demanding that i put the alternative items back as they were sold. So were my items that you didnt bother to check. Made a purchase thru flash food, and have never had an issue, until today. Don't think I'll ever step foot in this store again. Broomhilda at the desk needs an attitude adjustment from management.

  • Amanda

The customers here tend to be in such a hurry. Twice I was hit with a cart while at the self checkout because it was so small and cramped in there and the carts are so big. For a place as large as it is with wide open aisles you'd think they could expand on the self checkout area. I will say that they have a very large selection of produce, probably the best of any grocery store.

  • TheFlipguy

Typical superstore except this one is pretty big. They carry a wide selection of items. They also carry a lot of international products/items. The store is well laid out way finding throughout the store so you won’t get lost. Aisles and products areas are fairly clean They don’t have a lot of tills but they are all open which makes checkout painless.

  • Kitty Bazouk

If you want the post-apocalyptic shopping experience, this is your store. It always looks ransacked. Pictures were taken at around 5pm...it wasn't busy, all the pictures were taken on the same day but don't worry it's like this all the time. I'm sure if you stick around in here you can film two customers battling over the last egg carton...

  • C

Amazing selection and quality but the prices on name brand items are ridiculous. I understand the price of hand picked produce and meat but how do you get away with price gouging on basics like ketchup and wonder bread? Also the hours they list are never correct, I’ve had to consistently edit them for them time and time again.

  • Tylor Did

Do not show up here on a Saturday or Sunday the self checkout now is 25 items or less. Good luck trying to save money. If you're looking to buy fruits and vegetables a place called Freestone is something you should check out just off of Barlow and 32nd Ave is it busy absolutely it is less than half the cost on most items

  • Cassandra G

Constantly out of stock on the main sale item. Like this weekend, steak is in sale... no stock at all and the weekend hasnt even begun. Tons of the more expensive cuts available though... false advertising is illegal. Im tired of this and shopping at co-op going forward. Not worth the extra time and money wasted.

  • Tyler Tailby

I'm pretty sure the cashiers today were told to go at a snails pace or to waste as much time as possible while helping people check out. Standing in line for 10 min to not move forward while trying to pay and leave is infuriating and frustrating. I'm not here to hang out just let me pay and leave.

  • Ronie Wallace

This location's checkout lines are getting WORSE.... 3 out of 10 cash registers open with at least 5-6 people in line at each the self checkout line is incredibly longer. I see lots of people stocking items but hardly anyone can actually help a customer. What happened to customer service?

  • Akiko Hemke

The cashier was amazing! I grabbed the wrong box of something and there wasn't anyone available to get the correct box so while I ran across the store to get the correct item she scanned my items and put them in my bag!!! Definitely went above and beyond what was expected.

  • Nony

Has the widest lanes in all Superstore but the washrooms are disgusting. See below some of what you should expect when you go in. Plastic gloves and tissues are everywhere. ‍♀️ Overall the store is huge and have a wide selection of almost everything.

  • R

Superstore is trash to begin with their price gouging. This location has gone downhill this year. No one wants to help you, everyone is rude. Self checkout Homeboy is tryna pick a fight over roma tomatoes. Definitely won't be going here anymore.

  • Rose Chu

I want to do my weekly grocery shopping started the produce, which was absolutely disgusting not a fresh piece that we had in the entire store so left it all there decided to pick up the dry items I needed which is scarce and most of it was

  • Sherwin Go

"RUDE FEMALE EMPLOYEE" June 24, 2023 945am. I was in cashier #9, I ask the lady if she is open already so I could put all my groceries and pay for it. What she relpied to me " YOU DON'T SEE? I'M STILL CLEANING? ". What kind of attitude is

  • Bluue

Edit 4 years later: What happened to this store?? Its filthy!!! Everything is picked through. Vegetables look awful!! Wow. Very dilapidated store. Was not impressed this evening at all. First time here in probably 2 years. Will stick to

  • M G

Superstore are handling this media-hyped pandemic very well. Keeping shelves well stocked to the best of their ability, staffing up as required so long line ups dont happen and the staff are friendly. Opening the store early to those

  • Daniel Chan

The store itself is fine but you never get your reward points. I've tried both self check out and thru the cashier. No points. And the fact that the reply is to call customer service is beyond disgusting. Fix the problem.

  • Andrea S

Produce selection has gone down the drain… green bananas, wilted lettuce, dry little brussel sprouts, and now this joke… not even close to 28g (there’s less sage in here than you get in Walmart’s 7g packages).

  • ELENA AP

I know inflation and worldwide crisis have an impact in prices but now buying meat from superstore is only for wealthy people!! It's crazy how you can't have a control in prices and have affordable options

  • Brent M

Never enough cashiers and then they tell you you can't use the self checkout because you have too many items even though there are 10 empty self checkouts. Often find pricing errors on sale items too.

  • Carlo

Usually satisfied but sometimes vegetables are “insulting”: today October 22nd cauliflowers pitted with mold spots. All of them and sold at full price. Not the first time… Shameful

  • Jen P

Usually quite good as it is not normally very busy. Went on a Sunday this week and found many of the shelves to be empty particularly in the fridge (yogurt) and freezer sections.

  • Danielle Constantine

I go here when the costco across the street is too busy. I don't like Superstores produce. It is awful, but the convenience and prices are ok. The home goods are super cute.

  • Deepti Nayyar

Greatest store in Calgary for grocery shopping. The isles are never empty and the staff is great too. I even shop clothes from here since they are always nicely presented.

  • leonard Holden

To big. Not enough organics. A lot of products I don't use. As a handicap person it is to large to find what my personal needs are. Prefer my local superstore.

  • Carl Forkheim

Sourdough bread is amazing - wonderfully flavourful and chewy (but not too chewy). Good quality, well priced. Two thumbs up to the bakery …

  • warren hilts

I enjoyed the store. It was very well laid-out, well stocked, clean. The staff was very friendly and I found everything I needed easily

  • Oliver Rivers

Love coming to this store. Every morning before work I get greeted by the wonderful lady at the front. Priceless smile.

  • Victor Law

It's a busy Superstore. Parking isn't bad but beware that only the left side of the store is open for extrance/exit.

  • J. G.

Good grocery store. Lots of selection and fast checkout. Prices are great and the have something for any drinker.

  • Adeyemi Taofiq

I enjoyed buying some stuff from superstore and with their good price and there staff I use to meet are friendly

  • Elizabeth Turuok

Always clean inside and out, most of the time I find what I'm looking for. And no line up at checkout.

  • torilee smith

Can find some great deals here. Cashiers are friendly and quick. Like the 10 for 10 deals.

  • Darren G

No tomatoes, No Ginger, No cucumbers. but the guy I spoke to in produce was helpful.
