The store missed a 25.00 gift item and charged me related recycling fees and deposit fee for total of 3.12 = 28.10 in total. I first phoned PC Express but because the store had charged recycling and deposit fees PC Express said the store would have to refund me because they can’t verify the fees charged and it was over $25.00. The store refused to do the refund even though they missed putting the item in my order. The first person (woman in Curbside Pickup) had a hard time understanding that yes I was charged 3.12 for something I didn’t get and in fact didn’t order as it was the gift item for spending more than $250.00. That in itself seems wrong as I didn’t authorize the store to charge me any fees on a gift (which happened to be Coke which I didn’t want). On top of fighting to get 3.12, once established that I was due a refund, I asked for an email in writing to confirm the refund. I was told that was not possible as they do not provide emails for such requests. Then she had Adrian in Parcel pickup takeover the call even though he wasn’t a supervisor and was her co-worker, he refused to refund the 25.00 and told me I had to call PC Express back again because he can’t do a refund and he couldn’t/wouldn’t make the call for me. This is despite me telling him PC Express said the store must deal with the issue. I was able to reach a lady at PC Express not only gave me my entitled voucher, they apologized for the inconvenience and time and treated me like a fellow human; I never got any form of apology from the store staff. Adrian said he was trying to rectify it but in fact actually he did nothing but wanted to give the impression he had done his job, not. I had to spend an hour getting the refund/voucher sorted out by doing all the legwork. The store/pick staff didn’t accept any responsibility for their error or do anything to make my experience better. What a frustrating experience and a waste of my time. This is not acceptable service!!!

Normally this is a great store, and I've even wrote in about staff being fantastic but this last interaction has made us want to switch to the no frills up the road. It took a full 8 hours after our time slot for our order to be ready. There was a large number of items that were marked as not available and when asked if they could be found the next day when I went to get my order I was told it was not possible to even look. I specifically stated I wanted to pay with gift card, but then it was rung through on my credit card. When I asked if it could be done correctly I got told I had to go into the back of the store which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place. While in the back I got essentially told multiple times that it wasn't possible to fix and that they would have to ring through my whole order again (it wasn't and someone else came and did it in five minutes). Also while in the back I got to see just why it was so busy. Multiple staff were sitting in the back, just waiting. Just standing there. Orders were clearly piling up and 6 or 7 staff were fully just standing around chatting. I spoke to a manager about the first half of this and got told "they were busy" and empty company lines. At no point was I offered compensation or even a real apology for this. This service is not new, this pandemic is no longer new and I pay extra for it. I swear I don't have high expectations, but when I pay extra for a service and I can't get what I ordered two weeks ago, its not on time and its not done right, something is clearly wrong on a management level.

I've shopped here many times over the years and I can safely say that the Signal Hill Superstore is the worst one in Calgary. It has a run down and old feel and it offers a much lower level of service than all the others. The management doesn't seem to care about getting new carts on a regular basis. Most of their shopping carts have some level of rust on them and it's very normal for me to go back 2 or 3 times to get one that doesn't have a bad wheel or loud squeaks and rattles. I have heard that other Superstores refresh their carts every quarter but there is no way this store does that. I have even had the store manager paged to tell her about my bad experiences but nothing ever seems to change. Whoever is in charge of ordering stock for this store has been shirking their duty and running on autopilot for a very long time. When you go to other Superstores, they usually seem to carry new and interesting products at a much higher level than this location. This store also seem to run out of more popular stock much more often which means they are not keeping an eye on things very well or simply don't care. I hope the management reads this review and takes this seriously because this store needs much improvement in almost every category. I have shopped at probably about fifty Superstore locations all over Canada in the last 30 years.

This location has this sign up but does not follow it by any means. I come here regularly and I swear 25% of the time there is a wrong price when you get to the till. Last week my husband had chicken that rang in for over $5000! A couple months ago I got some pjs that their big promo sign said were a certain price and when I got to the self check out the price was wrong. They told me because I was on the self checkout, which is on another system than the manned tills it wasn’t update. So I asked to have the scanning code applied and they said that it doesn’t apply because if I was to go to a manned till it would be correct and it was an error of the self checkout !!?! Tonight I was in and got some packaged meat that had a large promo sign up for $8.99 reg price $10.99 and it came up $10.99. They said sorry and corrected the price at the till, I asked about the scanning code and they said it wasn’t applicable because there was a tag that did state $10.99 and this was just a promo so the scanning act doesn’t apply!!? I don’t know why they even have these signs up, they pretended to take pride in something they don’t even follow. Ive stopped doing my big grocery shop here anymore and I have to take photos of any promo price to save myself the delay and remember what all the prices are! Watch your prices !!

When I visited the Real Canadian Superstore in Calgary, we had an exceptional experience thanks to the friendly Lottery Guy who works there. From the moment I approached the Lottery desk, he greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly hello. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the different lottery games available and was able to answer all of my questions with ease. He took the time to explain the various games and helped me pick out a ticket that suited my preferences. Not only was he friendly and helpful, but he also went above and beyond to make sure I had a positive experience. He took the time to chat with me and made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. Overall, my experience at the Real Canadian Superstore was fantastic, and the Lottery Guy was a big part of that. His friendly and helpful demeanor made my day and I will definitely be returning to purchase more lottery tickets from him in the future. We’ve been shopping at this location for the past 3 years and mostly used them for click and collect. Our most recent experience is the reason for a 1 star rating. We waited 45 minutes for our click and collect order to come out. When it did, the employee was eating a cucumber and licking his fingers while he was loading our groceries. When we got home with the order, we discovered our milk was partly open and leaking everywhere. We also had a bottle of oil that had broken open and leaked all over our order. We called the store to report the issue and the manager offered to comp the two broken items. As a bare minimum, they would be required to replace opened our spoiled food items, so this wasn’t much of a gesture. We asked what he could do to make up for the 45 minutes we spent cleaning our car and kitchen floor. He said that was all he could do. We told him how disappointed we were in his customer service and that we’d likely be shopping elsewhere from now on. He didn’t care. I guess we’ll start shopping at Costco more often.

I'm so disappointed on online pick up order! One, waste of money because I always got half rotten fruit and veggies! (especially mandarin and onions etc.)even I left some notes on my order.Second, l encounter again problem on there website while placing my order online interruption on the apps and loading take a long time then happened already place my order. What I did I call immediately early in the morning superstore signalhill to resolve my problem and explained what I experienced that I need to cancel my order but ended up charging me fees because of the stupid website problem! Thought online make my life easy and help me on my busy life but ended up wasting my time.Also, feels like rubbing me money on this experinces. Great customer service! Please, be fair! Online even instore shopping had a bad experience when i buy,price tag is wrong then I need to do refund because you charge me more.

I have been in this place almost every week! They have best vegetables and fruits… I recommended for many friends.. but the worst experience I had was tonight… me and my mom was shopping and we happily went to finish the payment.. but the lady I don’t wanna mention her name was very rude! She had so much attitude…. She keep turning around looked at the line up! And I think she stressed out …. She throw our fruits on the side !!! I couldn’t tell which bags of apples I paid for!!!!!!!!!!! I tried to talk to the front service.. it was lady she was nice she said she will talk to her and she said she might be very tired! But if she is tired please don’t push her and this is not good experience for your company!!!! I will keep going there but I will never go to her again!

I called to ask if the peaches in the case are already in stock. Went there 2 days in a row and was told that they are waiting for it and it is coming because it is in their flyer. Don’t want to waste my time to go there for nothing so I decided to call. I was transferred to the cigarettes and then transferred again, and again to a guy who was talking. I thought that he was talking to me but nope! He was talking to somebody else while he was on the phone with me. When he finally decided to talk to me, he cant even understand peaches, then I was transferred again to produce and waited for 5 minutes before being answered and again I asked peaches in the case and told me beaches? Why will I ask about beaches in produce? That’s it! I hang up…

The staff here are super rude to you if you do instacart. We're just like a normal customer so I'm not sure why we are treated like we are stealing. I was using self check out (which I didn't actually know I'm not supposed to with instacart I've just started doing it) and the woman working came up and pulled my card out of the machine and started telling me I wasn't allowed to be there. She wouldn't say anything else other than "you can't be here" and withheld my card from me and another staff member came up and told me I should "know my job better than her". I was already done checking out... they could have nicely told me to use the checkout lanes next time :/

We like shopping at this Superstore and it always provide good service although on our last few visits, some of the newer staffs don't seem to be as helpful as the regulars. Not to complain but I am just pointing out that in other Superstores (eg: downtown), if we asked someone where something is located, they would drop whatever they are doing and walk you to the right shelf. Granted, if there are many customers and they are busy, they won't be able to do that all the time, but I have visited at non peak hours too. Anyways, other staff, who have been there for longer, tend to help better and it would be great if the newer ones receive the same good training.

SCAM ALERT!!! Check your bills, every single time I've come here items have been charged more then they have been listed for!!!!!!!!!! I've added pictures of listed prices and what was charged on the bill! When everything was corrected at the customer service after I asked how many people a day you scam like this (we are talking about 10% of the bill) lady said they have 2 million items and they can't be correct all the time. Well in that case if you can't handle correctly that amount of items best would be to shut down your store or downsize your corporate!. We all work hard for our money and you as a corporate don't care about your customers!

Only this superstore lacks on having full shopping carts close to the entrance. When I mentioned it to costumer service the lady said 'there is one' and that in the morning at 7am it was full. What kind of response is that? Other superstores response when I notified them about this issue they thank me and refill. It seems that the manager Imad doesn't understand that some of his customers are elderly, with disabilities, or have small children and that in winter time you want to avoid pushing a grocery cart with snow. The costumer service in this superstore for this kind of issues is not the "service" you are looking for.

went to superstore to pick up about 10 items for dinner and they only had 4 tills open. Cekarly super short staffed. Waited 10 minutes in one line only to be told that the customer ahead of me was the last customer for that till because they had to go on their break. Proceeded to wait another 20 minutes in the next line over. The picture shows an example of one of the lines happening at this time... This is the worst I've ever seen it here. I feel bad for the employees and all the people who waited 30 + minutes just to start checkout...

I don’t shop at this location but needed to find apple pie Lundberg organic rice chip minis snack I kept getting delivered expired in May2023,it’s Aug.)or out of stock at another store. (Always out of this item in every other store too. Why not ever in stock?) EMILY working in PC Express was kind and put the 3 or 4 they had aside “on the phone” & let me pay at express pickup when I went & she personally came out. Best employee award should go to Emily!!! Hope she gets promoted soon, best customer service ever!! Thank you!!

Nice store for shopping, doing grocery, but messy place. I make my grocery there every week and satisfied with helping of people who are working there, especially with my favorite cashier Ganna. ●Ganna is so helpful, responsible and happy to see customers, always asking about PC points card, what helps customers don’t forget about their points, good knowledge about products and she can help to understand what is worth to buy and good offers. Thanks to such employees, it is pleasant to come to the store!

I called this Superstore on Sunday May 14th at 7pm after another location ran out of their fresh sushi. Yazan answered the call and actually went and read all the varieties of sushi they had left. I only asked if they had any sushi, did not ask about varieties but he very kindly volunteered to tell us. Thank you Yazan, you helped my wife and I when we were in a crunch and we wanted to eat clean (but tasty) food instead of eating junk from a restaurant. Thanks Yazan!

Superstore is my local grocery store, this location is the closest to my home. Always great staff and plenty of food selection. Unfortunately, in the evening time between 5-8 is the most busy, we ended up waiting almost 20 minutes for the cashier to ring us out. It took way too long and I wish they would have open more check out line. Anyway, I still recommend this Superstore for its convenient, but do not go in the evening if you can avoid it.

Scam alert. This store will always charge your more than the produce costs. The reason I don’t shop there. Went there today after more than a year, same thing again. I specifically asked the cashier to be careful with the produce, but does she really care if that’s their corporate policy. Hope the manager will celebrate with their staff tonight for the overcharge amount and report to the senior management how they beat profits. Shame on you!

After trying grocery pickup at a few other large grocery chains, I have had a fantastic experience here. The app is easy to use, communication with the store is excellent if there are any issues, the staff is friendly and efficient. There is a good selection and there are only usually a few items they may not have in stock from week to week. The items are put together with care and I appreciate this service immensely.

Had a delivery ordered from here this morning because I knew it was going to snow and I worry because I broke my wrist in it last year. They left off a $25 item but still charged me for it. I called customer service who advised me they will not deliver it as it’s only one item! So I guess I have to go out in snow anyway and that’s just my tough luck! Really bad customer service, I won’t be shipping there again.

If you are a customer always check the price of goods. An example the assorted pepper at the big bin at the entry. Price of a kg is written 4.34 $ but when you go to the till they use zuchini code with a 5.46 $ a kilo and they say it's the same price. And the cashier look at you and say it's been 15 days we use this code. Imagine how much money they make on you !!! Just be aware...

Pharmacy is terrible. They had eight days to fulfill a routine prescription and it slipped through the cracks. Nothing worse than that when you need it. Wouldn't even address me standing at the pickup counter for 4 to 5 minutes without a lineup. Makes you feel like anyone else would deserve your business more. Go somewhere else. Do not patronize

This store can be very hit-or-miss. I have been using the curbside pick up here during the pandemic and it's either AWESOME or has me scratching my head. Sometimes your notes are clearly read, but other times you ask for a small piece of ginger and get one the size of your foot. It's a fine place to shop, but only just fine.

The customer service here is awful. Waited for about 15 minutes for someone to unlock a change room for me. Change room was very dirty. I needed a different size and the change room attendant kept disappearing. Cashier was unfriendly and fairly rude. Produce and flowers were wilted and dead. Would not recommend.

Honestly, this is one of the best Superstore in the south area. It's clean and we'll organized. I usually don't have a problem finding what I want and the produce is always fresh especially if you shop in the early morning like I do. The meat is also fairly good selection. Definitely recommend shopping here.

I'm a fan of this location for sure. Always clean/organized, fresh produce etc. Anyone else find the recent batch of plums taste like Bleach? I've washed several of them in different ways. Same weird chlorine taste. I'll stop trying lol just curious if I'm the only one? ‍♀️

This store seems to have serious issues maintaining stocks of even simple items. Empty shelves for weeks at a time forcing customers to shop for essentials elsewhere. Odd how competitors such as Save On or Walmart don't seem to be experiencing such extreme restocking problems.

Absolutely awful customer service. Bought some some bars and didn’t think I’d have to check to make sure they weren’t long expired (by months) and they wouldn’t exchange them for me. Had proof of receipt and brought in original package. Extremely disappointed and unimpressed.

Today is Tuesday, April 12. The public washrooms are very clean in the Superstore at signal hill! The floor tiles are very shiny, there is plenty of toilet paper, the sinks and mirrors are very clean, and there is also plenty of soap! Today is excellent! Thank you!

Fast checkouts and a huge selection if everything you need. The parking lot is often a scramble with impatient drivers and pedestrians walking behind your car when you back up and always walking down the middle of the lanes. I suggest going on weekdays.

Always busy busy! Lots of selection in all the store sections, can find pretty much anything I need. The parking lot is always crazy, and it feels disorganized going through the tills. Otherwise great one-stop shop.

Overall, a pleasant experience but look at those red mangoes I bought! Didn't even last 24 hours and they looked like this! And they cost me $4!! Not getting any fruits from them again! :(

I'm in shock, the service at the pharmacy was terrible. There was aggression and belittlement from the staff member, and I had to wait for an hour as a new client. It's just a nightmare.
