I’ve tried a lot of massage places in Chinatown and in the East Village and Renew Regal Spa is THE BEST. You can tell that providing excellent customer service is really important here. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, opening doors for you, offering water, etc. The massage rooms are clean and well heated. The 60 minute full body massage also includes hot stones, a little face massage, and they make sure to clean the oil off with a hot towel. For such an affordable price ($40 for 60 minutes), this really can’t be beat! I also love that you can call anytime and get an appointment almost immediately!

Renew Spa is simply AMAZING! Since the New Year, I decided to take better care of myself and added routine massages into my self-care regimen. I've been coming almost once a week since my first visit. My masseur has given me some of the most relaxing massages I've ever received. Also, he's great with time management. After reading reviews on yelp I decided to try out this spa. My teen daughter and I had been walking for 3 days all around the city and our feet were ready for a treat. I felt a little nervous climbing the stairs but the business was clean. We were able to be together in a room and I when they asked, I requested a strong therapist for myself and a female for my daughter. We had a great time. 30 minutes on the back/shoulders and 30 minutes on feet. It was fabulous. I highly recommend.

I can not highlight this place enough, I work on my feet all day five days a week, this place has been amazing for years. I come here at least 2 times a month. I am so happy they opened back up, the place is clean, well kept and the service is as always wonderful. I am so grateful covid 19 didn’t close them down for good. No frills. No robes. No tea. No conversation. Rose entered my space (cause it’s not exactly a room) and went TO WORK! One of the best massages I’ve received in a long time. How does such a tiny person have such incredibly strong hands?! TOO HARD was my safe word and she would soften the pressure. She nailed every ailment I had in my body without telling her a word. I will return in a few weeks. Thank you Renew Regal for getting the job done.

I use to love this place but it seems like the higher the prices get the worse the massages get. The last time I went I left extremely sore because the lady kept pressing on my spine after I asked her to stop several times. Im now pretty sure these people are not licensed to give massages. I was in pain for several days. It's sad because I use to love this place but now I will never go back. My last 4 massages here have been horrible.

Up the stairs from Canal you’re elevated to a clean, friendly experience. I love their one hour body work massage that really focuses on high tension spots and includes hot stones always leaves me so relaxed and literally renewed, lol. Couldn’t live in New York without it!

I got the best body massage from Renew Regal Spa in Canal Street. It's upstairs, they have a signboard outside but you will walk up. Eric did my body massage and it's the best so far I have. Eric asks me if I have some pain or soreness. The receptionist is very helpful in asking for your preference and informs you how much it will cost. I will come back. And have a go. It's worth your money.

I tried Renew Regal Spa based on a friend’s consistently positive experience, and they did not disappoint. From the receptionist to the massage therapist communication was friendly and easy. The massage itself was just what I needed to relieve my quarantine tension and wfh knots. Overall, it was a therapeutic and relaxing experience, and I definitely plan to be back again.

I liked the massage itself, the relaxing music and that I could get a walk-in appointment for an hour later :). What I didn't like is that I had to pay 15 Dollars more than agreed because the masseuse used additional CBD-Oil which I have not understood when she asked me (she didn't make it clear that it costs extra).

Wonderful experience in New York. The staffs greeted us warmly and provided excellent body works for my girlfriend and me. They kindly asked for our preference, whether male or female massage therapist, whether in the same room or separate room. Definitely recommend to our friends and anyone who needs relaxation.

I've been here several times. The staff is very friendly and the place is nice an quiet. Sometimes the (i think) chinese people here talk very loud. But thats okay. The one hour foot rub feels very good and is definitely worth it. Also the price 22 dollars is good! I can recommend this spa.

Our first time Regal, it was all worth it. Very clean and quite. The masseuse were excellent. We did 90 mins with 1hr body and 30 min foot massage. Absolutely worth it. We also added the CBD. Definitely will be retuning more often.

The old addage of you get what you pay for applies here. Great price, but very poor massage. Asked for deep tissue repeatedly throughout the massage, but felt like I was being petted like a chihuahua. Really sketchy area as well.

The foot massage was excellent, would do that again. However, the body massage was really painful. We had to tell them to adjust the pressure a few times and the next day we’ve both been in pain.
