I went to this wine store because of the location and no time to go elsewhere. It appeared to be a good boutique shop but when we asked for a very good wine that is carried by many of the liquor stores in Calgary, they did not carry it. Mike recommended another similar. We bought two and opened one that evening. It was not similar in any way and we were very disappointed. We went to return the remaining bottle that week and explained to the owner. He would not refund but finally offered a credit after some discussion. He could have cared less. This store offers a discount if you scan their code and make a review. That is how they get their good reviews. They carry a lot of little known wines with large pricetags. This is a common practice of buying up leftovers from wineries. Their marketing is not honest. It is all about a big markup. That does not happen at Highlander or Coop or practically any other wine store I have been to. I recommend to avoid this store. They didn't even know how to recommend a similar wine to the commonly found one we requested.

What a super cute shop right on the Riverfront at Eau Claire. Excellent selection, well priced and the shop owner, Michael is an absolute delight! He can help you select whatever it is you’re needing and of course will provide engaging, thoughtful conversation. You can tell this shop is a neighbourhood fave as plenty of residents not only shop but stop to chitchat/catch up which is lovely to see. Worth a stop in if you’re a community neighbour, out of town traveller or just one of the many who commute downtown for work/fun.

I've been a customer here for awhile since I live in the area. If you are looking for a store that is reasonably priced with a pretty good selection riverfront is the place to go. They carry a little bit of everything and also have companies pass through and you can sample thier spirits or brews. The owner is fantastic to deal with and they even have a loyalty program for customers. This is the store of eau clair and I encourage locals to visit them for thier purchases.

Great variety of local and international beers, not the largest selection of your "run of the mill" popular brews-- but those are boring!! I've fallen in love with some Czech and Polish beers thanks to Riverfront! I've also discovered my single favorite Malbec from Argentina thanks to Mike's suggestions. The icing on top here is definitely the staff. They've created an amazing community environment, and are all amazing folks! Keep doing what you're doing!

I have the pleasure of staying on Riverfront which has all of the amenities close by. One of my favourite places is Riverfront Wine and Spirits. They have a wonderful selection and everything that should be, is chilled to perfection. Ravneet and his team are always pleasant and willing to have a laugh with the customers. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a great place to pick up their choice of drink drop by to check it out.

I am so happy Riverfront wine and spirits is a place that is open. I don't live in YYC but it is super convent for whenever I am staying downtown. They are open later than most other places in the deadest part of DT, and they have better selection than most in the area. I have a super fond memory of the proprietor helping me out late on a sad first snow of the year. So happy this nice store is here.

I've been coming to this boutique wine and liquor store for years and it remains my favourite. Michael is friendly and extremely knowledgeable and always brings in unique and budget friendly products. He even hosts monthly wine tastings which are so much fun and informative, and a chance to chat with many of the winemakers. Hands down the best place in town for all your wine-o needs!

Amazing service! Mike is always knowledgeable and beyond helpful, gives fantastic recommendations and goes out of his way to help you. If they don’t stock something particular you’re looking for they’ll order it in for you or they’ll give you a recommendation for something better. A very friedly place for hunting some beers with plenty selections and varied styles. I am a big fans for different Pale Ale beers and I could always get some suprising on continous intorduced new brands and locations, really enjoyable. Mike and Andy are really nice guys with perfect service and conversation.

Friendliest, funniest and just amazing people own and work at this little shop. Yes you can spend your money anywhere to get your desired liquor but here at no extra cost you get a little piece of the hearts. And that’s worth it. Worth that extra drive or extra walk. These guys are great. Not only do they have a great single craft beer section. That includes sour beers. My personal favorite. It's not everyone's cup of sour. But they have it. Great staff. While they cleaned the street they soaked my dog for me. Great friendly staff. Best spot for sour beers.

Great little liquor store. The staff is always friendly and willing to help (or let you browse, depending on what you want). The occasional sales are enticing and they're rotating their selection all the time. I always find some cool new things to try (or classics if I want them).

I really love going there. The gentleman i see there is so friendly and helpful. Also love the style. They have a good variety, not in a lot of quantity but sure to find more limited products you are seeking. At least those i was looking for and didn't find at other places.

Stopped in to pick up some wine on the way home. The staff was more than welcoming and they offered some great selections after I mentioned what we like to drink. Got a couple amazing bottles that we hadn't seen or tried before. Will come back time and time again.

The store is at a perfect location with a good selection of wines and spirits. They even have these great quality champagne stoppers that holds down the bubbles well. Michael is also fantastic and provides superior customer service.
