Roadrunner Tokai. I wish there was an option for NO STAR at all....Australian friends needed small suitcase locks unpicked as their keys were inside....unfortunately, the assistants heard the accent and decided to rip them off royally. They hacked one lock off completely saying it was IMPOSSIBLE to unpick and when I arrived in the shop, they suddenly knew how to unpick the other identical lock which took all of 50 seconds to do. The Australians were then charged R130 for what should have been a 1 minute 40 second job. It is disgraceful and distasteful that our guests were left with a very poor impression of SA because of this shocklingly obvious 'rip-off'....don't use Roadrunner Tokai!!!!!!!

My father recently passed away and had to have new keys made for his car since they dissapeared. Now those new keys dont work most of the time and after they put everything back in the car they did a terrible job at it everything is loose and unprofessional. The gentlemen that helped me. Kept insisting that I "donate" to him to get a key that can lock and unlock with he was wanting to charge me R1800 for an uncut key taking advantage of my troubles and knowing money was low. My dad supported me and my my family by himself while still having so many problems.

So impressed with Roadrunner Locksmiths. I was locked out my house last night when the lock seems to have collapsed from the inside. I called & they arrived earlier than promised and got the job done in good time with getting the door open and replacing the lock. Norbert & Siya were very nice and wasted no time getting to work. I also think that for an after hours call and replacing the lock, then price was better than I expected. So am happy with that too. Would happily recommend this business and will gladly use them again should the need arise.

Used their services now and again over the years and this time I was just blown away by their good service and prices. I initially called around to have my car keys moved into new housings bought online and was quoted crazy prices. Called them last as they are further away from me and the quote was excellent. They even managed to fix the circuits that others quoted by in the thousands to have repaired. Final bill was so reasonable and service was so friendly. Super chuffed. Thank you!

Pathetic service.I was recommended by Hyundai to visit this establishment to check my remotes for my i110.The so called technician was called to check the remotes.After checking them told me that both are faulty,and would have to replace them @ R650 ea.I refused his offer,and proceeded to the nearest hardware store.They opened the remote,replaced the batteries for R58.00.I will NEVER set foot in this company again.RIP OFF ARTISTS.

I feel totally ripped off by these clowns. They changed my lock and gave me one key. I drove to their store and had two keys cut neither of which fit the lock. I've made two trips to their store and despite asking them to come to my home they refuse. They subscribe to the philosophy that the customer is always wrong. Plus they charge like wounded bulls. Avoid these charlatans at all costs

Not so happy with the job they did to my car, l keep calling them as they are the ones supposed to call me back so they can finish the job they didn't finish and its almost 2 months. No phone call and if you call them they just say they will call you right back and nothing, Paid R3000 and not happy at all. Yes its me who came with my Hyundai accent. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company as roadrunner.... Firstly your locksmith arrived to unlock my door without a mask which is breaking the law...secondly he damaged my lock and now im being told it was not him and that you will mot be replacing my lock...i do not have money to replace something i did not break.... He is supposed to be a professional....

Called for some help getting my keys from inside my locked car, right away got a call from a technician and time ETA. Nick checked in every step of the way, and made sure to call before arriving! Took the stress waiting and wondering when or if anyone would arrive, out of the equation! Got my keys in less than 5 minutes when he arrived! 5/5 Thank you for the help, Nick!!!

Is there a no star option please!!!! Nobody gets back to you. I think their phones cannot do outbound calls. They removed the locks off my car, and kept saying the technician would be back within an hour every time I called. For an entire day.. Now they want to send the locks back!!!.. They could have told me they could not do the job in the first place!!!!!

I called them them yesterday for the broken car key, they said they must come check it out at my house and took down my phone number and address. They said they will be here at 9:30am today nobody showed up or never contacted me to say anything. Will definitely be calling another company later wont even bother calling them back.

I heard about this place. A friend recommended them. I drove all the way to pardeneiland. They are really professional. I gave them my key to cut. They cut a new key and replace the old chip . It cost just.R650. BMW asked for the same key R3600. With the chip. Please do yourself a favor and go look yourself. Very good prices

I have never experienced more incompetent people in my life. Installed 4 locks, and all 4 have come loose. Now they refuse to fix the mess they've made with my doors. Furthermore, the owner Brenton is one of the most rudest people I've ever dealt with. You should seriously consider taking your business elsewhere.

Incompetent, poor customer service and poor etiquette. What's more if the owner doesnt like what he's hearing he won't hesitate to scream VERY loudly at you. They'll arrive pretty quickly but forget any sort of follow up service. Use someone else, you'll pay the same price for better service.

I was recently locked out of my car on a Saturday evening at the Waterfront, they came through and efficiently got the car open. I would not recommend locking your keys in the car, but if you do, I'd recommend Roadrunner in sorting it out.

A locksmith arrived quickly to open my car door. They were unable to fix the lock, but took the trouble to contact Renault to find a price for a new lock and gave me excellent advice. They fixed a broken remote for y car as well.

I have had the most pleasant experience with this company. My lock on my Audi A3 has not been locking. Eric helped me find a solution. What a pleasure to deal with people that are survice orientated. Thank you

Roadrunner is goot for getting almost anything you whant. They haven't emailed me the quotes I asked for and it's not the first or second time this happens.

Went there to fix a lock that was stuff. 2 hours later stiff lock is now completely unusable and I have to go to a panel eater to get it replaced.
