Visited today to pick up a present for my wife. These guys have an excellent selection of books and have never left empty handed. Today I was browsing with my 3 year old son and he accidentally knocked over and broke a scented candle. The two staff on today were upon us in seconds. I honestly felt like the police were about to be called as we were bungled to the front counter to pay for the candle. We paid and left with a mixture of anger and embarrassment. The behavior the staff displayed was ignorant and distasteful and we will never darken their doors again. Go to ebay, its cheaper and you will leave with your dignity intact!

It's a pretty big bookshop. The employee I talked to was very friendly. There's a great selection of Asterix comics, which was a wonderful surprise, as well as a very big manga section. I am not a YA person so I can't speak on the quality of the authors they stock, but there's a lot to choose from there. Lot of Cassandra Clare. The children's section has a lot of books for slightly older kids like John Flanagan and Morris Gleitzman, and then early readers on the next display. I was a little disappointed that the history section wasn't as big as the other sections, but it's still decent.

Really disappointed tonight I have often bought books from here. Love the atmosphere, however tonight I walked in and asked one of the salespeople if they had journals they pointed in a direction which I had to walk to and then find what I looking for ( in a dark corner of the store). While the sales staff 3 of them I believe chatted amongst themselves. Not a “Can I help you”? “Is there anything in particular you are looking for”? No just chatter amongst themselves. I walked out and found what I was looking for at another book store with the prompt help from a staff member.

I went in to the Fountain Gate store tonight with my three young children. They each had a $25 gift voucher to spend. The lady working could not have been more unpleasant. The opposite of friendly, not a smile to be seen and when I asked for help on a couple of things, she was not helpful from behind the desk and seemed as if I was really putting her out by asking anything of her. If I didn’t have those vouchers and kids excited to spend them, I would absolutely have walked out. There is no way I would spend my money there with that experience. I’ll stick to online.

A lovely store with a great atmosphere and a focus on providing lovely editions of classic books. I would highly recommend giving it a look in if you're in the market for something a little nicer than what you might find elsewhere. Last time I was there I had the pleasure of being served by Stewart. He was easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and was willing to answer any questions I had. A credit to the business!

I was after a particular author Kelly Hunter And the book out back brides as I do not like to buy on line. I have ordered the book and now am waiting to hear from the shop as this will take a few weeks I'm told. Although staff were polite and helpful and informed me that I could have it ordered so I jumped at yhe chance and now am waiting for the hard copy. I must say that I was happy with their services.

They’ve got a nice selection of books here. I spotted a few JoJo manga, so the store manager must have exquisite taste. Truly a refined and distinguished individual. On another occasion I managed to find a book I needed for school here, which was handy. Something about the atmosphere of this bookstore is amazing. It feels so nice inside. Maybe it’s the bookshelves in the back, or the storefront.

Like other Robinsons stores you'll find, this bookshop is charming and full of character. When you step in here you feel as though you've left the hustle & bustle of the shopping centre behind you. Nice lighting, wooden bookshelves and floor, and the smell of books. Robinsons have a great selection of books. Definitely one of my favourite chain bookshops to visit.

I come here at least once every two weeks. The store is always clean and welcoming. Staff are always helpful in finding what I'm after and always speeding deliverys. They also have a small manga and comic area. Only down side is I feel the books should be sorted a little bit better as genera is not clear but stuff are always happy to point you in the right path.

The store is beautiful, warm and inviting. Its decor brings to mind places like flourish and blots from Harry Potter. The service is impeccable, the staff found what I was after and were able to recommend plenty of books to keep me reading for a very long time. They definitely know their stuff. Definitely the best shopping experience I've had.

Staff are very nice. Ordered a book for pick up at Fountain Gate because it said that location had it in stock. Was informed that the book was actually not there and was coming from another store, meaning I actually did not receive the book when I needed it as I am a teacher. Bit annoyed about it

I could spend hours in this book store! The location in the store is perfect because theres not to much noise so it's very quiet in the bookshop! Perfect for book browsing. They also have an outstanding selection of novels, comics, manga etc!. Family friendly also …

I loved this place because of all the books they had especially the manga. The staff was very friendly as well. One thing that I didn't like was that some of the books were way too high and it wasn't available for me to get. The price of the books were good as well.

Very well presented book store. A lot of books for kids, non-fiction and fiction for young adults. Good spot for manga readers too. I feel it would be convenient if the sections had printed labels that weren't too small to read and easily noticeable.

I managed to hold my temptation in check but not purchasing anything, but it was hard! Great selection of books, especially the oft need science fiction section. Despite being a shopping centre, it had a best bookstore vibe. I'll be back soon.

I like it, its a nice place, but the books are way too expensive. Ill go there to check out books then go to Kmart or BigW to buy them, or via audible. The store and staff are really nice though, especially at this location.

The bookshop has a great selection of books, including a large range of classics and modern literature. They even sell Manga and recipe books, all for great value, easily the best book store in the area.

I love this book shop. It's got a great collection & it's very charming & quaint. The prices are reasonable. I recently found out there's another one in The Glen with a cafe (cafe not open at the time).

A magical bookshop with a charm of it's own, great selection of titles, even bought a book titled chasing the moon from Robinsons, a title not seen in Whitcoulls book shop back home in New Zealand.

The atmosphere in this bookstore is lovely; it screams "cuddle up with a new book and devour its contents on a rainy afternoon". The staff are also very friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help.

Service was really good. Friendly and helpful with a smile. Can find some amazing beautiful books. Loses a star because of the pokey layout (hard with pram or trolleys), and prices are dear.

Nice old style bookstore. Good range and decent prices. Staff didn't approach while I wondered around looking lost so I took a star off. When I approached them for help they were fantastic.

Given that bookshops are few and far between these days, it's nice to find one that stocks a great range in a shop with nice decor to boot. Friendly staff who know their stuff.

Nice staff and a fantastic range of kids books including a wide range of comic books. The shop is small but has a lot going on and is always well presented and eye-catching.

I used to visit this store when it was originally in Frankston, the atmosphere is great for amy book reader. I feel as if I am in a library filled with fantastic books.
