Great neighborhood bar where you can watch games. They occasionally do free bbq. I helped Drew man the grills for a bit. Had a $2 PBR and tried the Alabaster cocktail and an old fashioned which were decent. Staff is friendly and you can order food from Front Porch and they'll deliver.

10/10 experience here, unpretentious friendly and cheap. The lovely bartender flower also paid for my friend and I to use the photo booth as we had no cash (we later found out it also takes card so they were being extra sweet!!): highly recommend

This place has a local, dive bar feel (and I mean that as a compliment). The cocktails and beers are quality and a good value for the price. And it’s usually not very crowded earlier in the evening. Honestly it has everything I want in a bar.

NOT OPEN RIGHT NOW! Love this neighborhood watering hole but went there yesterday, sat in the outdoor benches and got major attitude from the server for not “checking in first.” Took us an hour to realize it’s being used as overflow seating

Powerful, tasty cocktails. Having tried most all of their menu, their most artfully crafted cocktail is the blood and sand which I would return for in a heartbeat. The others were not made to the caliber I am used to at Bourbon and Branch,

I used to come to Rock Bar all the time before the shutdowns and it was my favorite bar. I really like the lighting, drinks, music, photo booth, and that I could get food at the front porch before hand. I went in last night, my third time

They call this place rock bar and I gotta say, this place does rock! GOOD PEEPS! From the cool locals, with their tight shirts and hair-cuts, to the cultured bartendress who recommended the PERFECT mezcal that brought my fiancé and I back

  • Alan Musselman

Can't beat a front porch breakfast delivered to Rock Bar on weekends, fresh squeezed oj and fresh draft liberty ale. If front porch is too crowded for seating just go to the Rock bar and order from the awesome retro phone from the bar. I

The Rock Bar may be a new fixture in La Lengua, but it feels like an old favorite. The charm of it's neighboring and co-owned restaurant The Front Porch has shaped this local hang out into a fun and funky watering hole with a combination

My experience with this place was great friendly people friendly bouncer. The only incident I had in 20 years going to this place was from a snow flake not liking my veteran's shirt oh well the bouncer asked my side and realized I did

This is the best bar in SF. A miner theme! Hot food from Front Porch, great location, a photo booth, pool, black and white movies, and a bar tender who plays OSees. What more could a person ask for? More

Went here for the first time ever tonight. And OMG I had a great time. They had this crazy awesome karaoke going on. The crowed and the energy was so amazing. Totally coming back for more karaoke

Really clean, unpretentious bar with a nice Southwest/pioneer theme. Good space, good location, not too loud--a great place to have a date or chill with friends. The bartenders are also awesome!

  • Courtney Chin

Friendly local dive bar for the Bernal neighborhood. Staff was really nice and welcoming even when it was crowded. Great if you want to go somewhere to hang out without the pretense.

The Rock Bay never disappointments. Not quite a full blown dive bar, but nothing fancy. Drinks are great, people are nice and the crowd is mellow. I'm a big fan

  • Kevin Lannon

Wonderful atmosphere with excellent cocktails and very friendly staff. Enjoy the pool table while watching the game with some of the best locals in the Mission!

  • LJ Lara

Super chill staff and always playing great music. The people who frequent there are some of the best as well. Great drinks, and the happy hour is a good one.

I really wanted to like this place because it’s so close to my apartment. First visit, it was a Saturday night and the boyfriend and I were sat at the bar

  • Tiffany Stakem

Low key, dark, divey neighborhood bar with good cocktails. Head to one of the new spots on Mission St. if you're looking for anything more than that.

  • evanoquin

Great staff first and foremost.. food is a treat. Look at the menu.. if things fancy your tickle.. you must try at least once. Then you will know..

  • Adamme Kearney

The menu says "order from the front porch" , it means the restaurant called the front porch across the street. They're owned by the same owner.

  • Mike Lin

Great bar that restores my faith in humanity. Dropped my Fitbit and it was turned in and held for me at the cash register. Love the Rock Bar.

  • Mara Martin

Order takeout from Front Porch across the street + beer at the bar = perfect night. Plus there is a cat that sits at the bar with you …

  • James J Reilly III

I liked the cut off this bars gib. In particular, the timeline of previous owners - really gave the place a sense of place.

  • Robert Weisblatt

Crappy little bar with stingy pours and uncooperative bartender. They even had a DJ who was playing ear splitting music.

  • August Boman

Cozy neighborhood bar, pool table, photo booth, and very kind staff. Good mix of tunes as well

Cozy and cute. Great service. Pool table. More expensive than a few of the other neighborhood bars.

A unpretentious tucked away neighborhood dive bar with a pool table. What’s not to like

  • Adam Frandson

They have whiskey drink specials and take a credit card (rare for the mission).

  • Rebekka zamora

Honestly the perfect bar, dark with a pool table and a set of cool bartenders.

  • Colin Miller
