I attended with my daughter who moved to the area. Friendly staff and people... worship time was good. Plenty of room, clean bathrooms and Handicapped accessible. Parking available underneath the church building. Around the church building parking is almost non existing. I feel the senior pastor read thru prayers rapidly & noticed people trying to keep up. They have a small area where you can get something to drink & free snacks providing people didn't rush there to consume all the popcorn because there are no limits per family (I watched many families walk away with nothing)... For the most part the congregation was totally friendly. I am not putting the church down but I feel everyone should know the good & bad. It took me many years to find a church to feel like "home" and feel like most people want the same. Sometimes when a church starts to grow the "family " feeling starts to fade, let's keep that from happening at all locations.

The church has a very welcome atmosphere where everyone can feel accepted and connected by the love of God. The music is energetic and moving. The lyrics are deep, meaningful, and easy to learn. The Holy Spirit is free to move throughout the congregation. I felt the cleansing power of God come over me during the worship. I so needed that - especially today. I highly recommend this church at any location, though I've only been to City Heights, I can sense the anointing is on this whole ministry. If you have had any "bad" church experiences in the past, please come to The Rock Church City Heights Campus. Let this place help you to know what it is supposed to be like in the house of God.

I heard about the Rock Church when I was walking my dog. The minute I walked through the door I knew I was home and I have been going ever since. I rededicated my life to Jesus and shared my testimony at the Sisters in Christ Bible study and now I’m serving in Hospitality Services and I love every moment of it. I got to take my mother there 2 times before she died and the women have been encouraging me daily and helping me with her loss. I feel the Holy Spirit every day and I have nothing but gratitude for the Rock Church.

I love the Rock church in general. I've been a member of the Point Loma, East County, and now City Heights campuses. I've also visited the old campus in north county. All campuses are under the same senior pastor, Pastor Miles McPherson. Each campus has Pastor's that oversee the congregation for each campus. Each campus has its own "flavor" in people and music. City Height's is more Baptist in music and praise. They loooove allowing the Holy Spirit to flow. East county campus has a strong young adults ministry (18-30 +/-).

They are wonderful, they call you to see how your doing, they have alot of ministries you can volunteer for. They have a Women's retreat coming up in August. They always have activities for children, on Sunday 7/27th they had a jumpy for the kids, the choir is awesome. The chapel has a large television screen that you watch the sermon on, the location is excellent right near the MTS transit station. So, check and the Rock Church get some God in your life!

I moved into town wanting to seek a church. I was getting into the spirit and was welcomed by one person. I went to the front sanctuary to meet my friend that invited me, I was told I couldn't enter back into the church until offerings were given. So basically the doors are closed unless you can give something? I've never been to a church that closes it's doors.. For any reason.

A friend was having a baby christening but the place looks nice the music was great message was good. We need a positive message and something that brings people together to build community so hopefully more people will think about returning to church whether it's here or somewhere else and also getting involved to contribute in different activities that help the community.

I love the Rock church, Pastor McPherson is great for teaching the Bible and you have fun while learning it. He has a great way of teaching and making you laugh while your there. If every in San Diego it a great church to go. And they also have 5 services you can pick from on Sunday with the first services start at 8 and the last at 5.

I went to the other location some years ago for help and they helped me without a second thought didnt make me show my need they just helped me and i am grateful they were there for me.i say a million stars to this church because people are godly here its not a cult.I dont know who put that down but i thank god for them.

I visited this Church several times. There was no Pastor or Preacher there at any time that I visited. There was a TV screen that everyone watched. I knew right away that this type of superficial Christianity could not nurture or strengthen

I went to the church and I actually stood up and went to the back room. After a prayer, my landlord tells me I can stay longer due she cannot work on her condo at the time. That prayer really truly helped me. Thank you for the staff there.

Absolutely wonderful and spirit uplifting! If you are seeking a Saturday morning prayer experience, look no further, City Heights campus is on fire and offers you a total Holy Spirit filled worship and prayer time with other believers.

Wonderful branch with a smaller more intimate community than the very large main campus i usually go to in point loma. I really enjoy the 1030 prayer and worship sessions at city heights on saturdays when im in port from sea.

Wish I didn't have to give any star. The coldest church I have ever visited in my life. Not cold as in temperature but not a greeting or eye contact. I could tell I wasn't welcome there and left after I used the restroom.

I have been going to the rock church for about 4 years now. My wife and I love it! They treat you like family here. We both serve on the 8 am hospitality team at the Rock east county. Come on in and say hello!

Loved the worship! I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit there and couldn't stop my tears! And I felt like they are family! Too bad my husband and I are just visiting from another country!

Smaller congregation, but the same message as Liberty Station usually. Church personnel are so friendly & nice. I alternate both locations. Miles and his ministry are all great!

Amazing community and worship!!! The church is full of more cultures then I have ever seen in my life! Everyone from homeless, streets and wealth are all worshiping together!!

If you want to be yourself and see a multicultural church, this is your new church. The Holy Spirit will impact you in a whole new way. Jesus is Lord and this church knows it!

I loved it there... I'm going again next Week.. plus it's only 5 min from home You could really feel the Holy Spirit moving through the crowd...The music is very uplifting..

I DID NOT feel the presence of god at this church. The church is to cold ( spiritually) annd the sermons and crowds are to calm. I don't recommend this place.

You will not be not be falling asleep when attending this church or its functions. Your heart will be captured by and the Holy Spirit will hold your interest.
