I do not normally post negative reviews about any business. I am compelled to do so now because the owner was abrasive - constantly cutting me off before even hearing my request and concerns, accusatory and incorrect in her assertions without willing to calmly discuss the issue. Also, the flowers wilted within 24 hours for no reason. My son ordered a large bouquet of flowers from Postmates to be delivered to me on Mother's Day and Rosewood was the florist selected. All of the yellow tea roses (40 of them!) wilted by the next afternoon ( the five other large roses in the bouquet were fine as were the other greens) . I was calling to let them know, as a business owner I would want to know if a product was bad, and see if there was a way to come to a place where we each were satisfied. I spoke with her , first in my ignorance of how Postmates worked and she basically blew me off saying it was NOT their delivery. Ok . I then spoke with my son and with Postmates to get a clearer picture of the process. I called her back and apologized immediately for having the wrong info about delivery but that the flowers were from Rosewood as per my sons payment to Posates had indicated. I told her my son’s name, the order type and that a third party,Postmates, picked it up and delivered it. She wouldn’t even look it up! She said she can go thru hundreds of invoices! Really?! And she insisted again and again that I was wrong and those weren’t her flowers etc etc and after yelling at me ( I asked her if she was angry!) with irrelevant info she finally acknowledged they could be her flowers but my son needed to call in. Fine. I get that. Bad horrible customer relations. The flowers were definitely from her shop.

The man that works behind the counter was so rude to me. To the point that other associates jumped in to help me. I came to have a floral arrangement made - not a pre-made one. I was taking my time picking out flowers and colors, because this was being delivered to my mother-in-law's friend (her father passed). My first question was, will you be able to deliver today? I ended up spending $124 on an arrangement & delivery. Marisol reassured me that she would send a pic of the arrangement, the pic was never sent. I also called the next day to insure the delivery would take place before 12pm - unfortunately, the same rude man answered the phone, I told him that I never received the picture and he began to talk over me stating he doesn't know how to take a picture and I would have to wait a few hours for someone else to help me. I told him that's not possible if the flowers are actually going to be delivered today.... Moral of the story: I spent $124 on an arrangement, I don't know what it looks like & I will be surprised if it's really going to be delivered. SCAM!!!! BEWARE!!!

I contacted my local florist to place an order for a PLANT for my parents. She called back and stated this florist is in her "wire" network, and they wanted to charge a $25 delivery fee for a $50 order, because it's "holiday" season (its November 16). I then called the florist to inquire about the delivery/charges, and whoever answered just yelled at me! I have never had an experience like this! She told me if I placed the order directly with her, she would do the plant and delivery for $50 total. She continued to complain about paying the driver as well as telefloral taking a cut. And my florist here in my town. She then told me to call back if I want to place an order. I said this was the 2nd call trying to order, and asked if she was having a bad day as she was yelling at me from the beginning. No idea what was going on, but it will be my last contact with this florist. Good luck if you choose to use them.

I had been a loyal Rosewood customer for over 25 years. I specifically drove over here from I-10 East & Beltway area to buy 3 pink breast cancer survivor corsages. The employee that greeted me was very nice and helpful but she had to ask her manager if she could make me the 3 corsages. She went to the female manager at the Desk inside and then came back and told me she could not make them for me because the manager said no. The manager comes out and walks passed me without looking in our direction. I ask her why she didn’t let her make me 3 small corsages? She keeps walking and said she’s busy and has a wedding... No worries...I simply drove next door to and asked the Country Flower Store next door if they could do the pink corsages. They said yes! No problem! They made them in 5 minutes while working on a wedding also!

My Family and I have patronized this business for more than 30 years. Every wedding, funeral and other occasion this has been our preferred provider. But today...we drove from Manvel to order an arrangement for a dear friends funeral and got nothing. No help. No empathy. No sample. We were told just look it up on our website. We asked can you show us a snap dragon? No, look it up on our website. Unfortunately.I understand covid concerns. But you can't go to the storage and show us a flower. She said no. Needless, to say we left. I won't EVER go back. Fannin Flowers on the other hand was helpful,attentive and well stocked. We were shown the flowers we wanted to make our arrangement and I bought a special plant for the family patio. Good bye rosewood. Hello Fannin flowers.

I dislike the very thought of leaving a negative review, but when the owner of a business is insensitive and rude to her customers, it's definitely called for... I stopped by to pre purchase flowers to be delivered for my beloved Uncle's funeral which is in 3 days. Understandbly the flowers could not be pre purchased at the moment due to the hurricane in Florida, which is effecting delivery of any new shipment. I understood this perfectly well; however I did not understand her need to patronize me and raise her voice as she explained this to me. The sweet employee who was helping me prior to this seemed uncomfortable and she seemed apologetic for the owners poor manerism. There are too many incredible flower shops on the very same street to waste your money here.

I also came in for the first time and the service was HORRIBLE. The elderly woman who seemed to be the owner or figure of authority was so rude! I was simply asking to see what fresh cut flowers were available in a certain color and she didn't seem to want to waste time doing that and said they don't have anything in that color... Really? When I can see them making 3 different arrangements right in front of me with the exact colors I wanted to see...so I said well the employee said there are carnations in the back and another type of flower n she still REFUSED to show me ANY options and just said no we don't u need to look somewhere else. Why run a business like that?! Will never return or recommend this place to anyone.

I ordered a flower arrangement through Rosewood’s website very late on a Sunday night. They were needed for a funeral at Noon the next day. I honestly didn’t expect the flowers to arrive on time with such short notice. Not only did they arrive on time; they exceeded my expectations! I typically get a watered down version of the flower arrangements when ordering online. This was the complete opposite experience. Rosewood went above and beyond and I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend them to everyone needing quality floral arrangements! I regret not taking any photographs and will update this post if someone else did.

After a less than pleasant consult before my brothers memorial, we used them anyway. We were told to be there at 8am when they opened, as the signs/cards/various websites say they open. We had to wait 30 min for the owner to stroll up and had the nerve to tell me they opened at 830! Which of course she would say, since she was late. She brings out part of my order and it was wrong, then argued with me, in front of other customers no less. I will never return to this business and advise anyone else to stay away as well. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful.

First time in and I was immediately greeted, helped, given options, with great customer service and a friendly attitude by the gentlemen who works there. He answered my questions without any attitude. This was my first stop after not finding anything I liked at a nearby Randall's. Glad I stopped by and it was my first attempt at a nearby florist. Great shop and they close at 6pm and I made it in time before visiting my new nephew. Oh and they gave a cardboard box that held up the flowers and the vase upright in the car which is awesome!

I first went to two other neighbor flower shops & Costomer service @the 1st shop was rude, 2nd shop they didn't aknowledge a customer was there, this shop.... I was greeted as I walked in, shown where to go for what I was looking for, got an amazing deal on 2 arrangments as well as 2 dozen roses 1/2 price & one for free & they were just so kind. Exactly what I needed to cheer me up while shopping for a death in a family is extremely saddening.

The casket spray for my Mother's coffin was absolutely beautiful! The professional customer service was exceptional and the price was extremely reasonable. In the 80's and 90's, I used them a lot for hospital deliveries and for special occasions (not to mention my farewell to mysef when I decided to terminate a job), but this is the first time that I needed them for such a heartbreaking occasion and my family and I were extremely satisfied.

Wow. Just WOW. Simply amazing selection of flowers from roses and lilies, to hibiscus and jasmine planters. We bought an array of plants including the ones mentioned above and we could not be more thrilled with how lush and blissful the front of our home looks. Both quality and service were exceptional. If you couldn't tell by now, I highly recommend to go to Rosewood for special occasion flowers or planters to revamp your garden/home.

We give Sissy 5 Stars PLUS! She has ALWAYS made the most BEAUTIFUL floral arrangements. Sometimes a family is unsure of the color scheme, I just call Sissy, tell her the casket color, if it's a male or female, what color if I know they will be wearing and leave the design to her - she's NEVER failed us.....and the families are VERY pleased with the results always. Very professional, courteous, dependable, and talented!

Best flower shop ever! Having calling and going to several flower shops to find someone to handle our flower needs for my dads funeral this place had the best prices and the most beautiful arrangements the owner is very professional and empathetic Even the funeral home was amazed by the size and beauty of the spread on coffin, I recommend this place to everyone... ty again sissy!

Got a buddy in the hospital? Need to send flowers? They took care of me. If you have cash, there is some flexibility in bartering. There are a total of three flower shops to do business with. Rosewood has tropical accented flowers that caught my eye. I picked up, " thank you flowers" for the nurse's station on the floor my friend was an inpatient.

I have been going to Rosewood Flower Shop for approximately 20 years, primarily for special occasions. Their arrangements are beautiful and the staff is helpful. Most of the time the staff will offer discounts for paying in cash, so feel free to bargain with them. They are reasonable and helpful. I do not see the need to go anywhere else.

I've used this florist for my dad's funeral, to send flowers to my mom, and have received flowers from this shop. They are always consistent, do great work, and are incredibly reasonable for the arrangements they do. I'd rather receive flowers from this florist than anywhere else. The difference in imagination, and quality is obvious.

Amazing prices for beautiful flowers and the staff was exceptionally helpful. It was efficient fast friendly and I'm not making this up. I just went on Saturday before Mother's Day and they were so efficient that there was no line and no wait. People were literally lined up waiting to help me and every part of the store.

I have contacted this florist twice by phone and both times was very rudely spoken to. I was rather stunned as I was asking very basic questions about plants/flowers for an upcoming event. The woman on the other end of the line obviously didn't need my business and therefore won't be getting it.

If I could give a -1 star I would.These people are extremely rude!!!!! Don't waste your time with them. I was simple inquiring if they carried a certain flower and had general questions about it. The lady said "no, you have to order 2 weeks ahead!" then hung up on me.

I went on April 17, 2021 and there was maybe 20 premade arrangements. Not an open area to browse just walk up and pick what you want. Very disappointed. Maybe they are going to close due to all the new apartments in the area.
