I loved going to this gym. It's a lot less busy than the other gyms in Orleans and there is a crazy amount of free weights. The pool is well maintained and the staff is really helpful. I like the fact that I was able to use my pass for the other YMCA's in Canada. The staff is a lot less snobby than goodlife and same goes for the people who work out at this gym. It's generally a very positive place. The only reason I'm actually giving three stars is that when I went to put my pass on hold for the semester, I was told I would have to pay 42$ for the next month in order to put the pass on hold, which I paid. But then when I came back, they told me something had gone wrong and I would need to pay the joining fee again (80something$). Unfortunately I couldnt afford to pay that at the time and had to switch to fit4less. Positive gym tho

Great pool! However, some men are conducting themselves in an inappropriate manner in the men's sauna, and no matter how I complain to the front desk, nothing is done about it. In a public space, one should at least sit on a towel for obvious hygienic reasons. I should not have to leave the sauna because I am feeling uncomfortable that fully nude older men are stretching in front of me, and rubbing themselves making inappropriate sounds. If they would at least expect people to cover themselves it would eliminate a lot of the questionable behavior before it gets out of control . I have felt uncomfortable too many times due to questionable behavior in the men sauna that I've resorted to reviewing the ruddy YMCA, despite the pool being really really exceptional.

I wanted my son to be part of the camp this year. I only registered him for one week, and good thing only did one week. My kid just fall down really badly today and he's really hurt right now. No one cared and no one even called me, I found out when he came back home. Also he has lost his swimming suits, his towel and his slipper and I came the next day but I could not find them. Even he forgot his extra clothe there and when I asked them they said the do not even know about it. The service is so bad, we are paying a pig amount of money and I regret it.

They've got 3 squat racks and 3 bench presses with solid safety catches for a relatively small amount of people, so I've never had to wait for equipment when I've been there. Friendly staff in my experience and a nice atmosphere. If you have kids they have some play facilities for them as well so it seems very family friendly overall.

My little guy has been going to swimming lessons here for a year now, and absolutely loves it. We had one instructor that was terrible, but the rest have been fantastic. The indoor gym upstairs for kids is also amazing, he has a ton of fun there! I wish we lived closer, or I would get a family membership for sure.

This is definitely one of the nicest YMCAs in the region. It's fully equipped in every regards. Their gym has everything you can think of. Theres several copies of the same machine so you never really have to wait in line. There's a pool plus a waiting pool. And if you got kids, there's a decent daycare for them.

Got my vaccine shot there. I was amazed at how well they were organized to enter people for their appointments. Catherine, the nurse, was so pleasant, like a ray of sunshine. They made our experience with the vaccine very smooth and professional. Thank you all for your hard work. .

The facility like its organization is badly miss-managed and even its fees are not far from other similar commercial facilities. Unprofessional managers and employees is not what we expect in paying for its poor service and thus will never come to it again! Be ware!!

Just visiting, I stopped in to check it out. The employee "supervising" the basketball game had sunglasses on indoors, head phones on, his arms pulled inside his tshirt and a hat on. I had to resist every urge not to yell at him. The weight room was nice.

I went to this gym before covid hit and it's amazing. Staff is super friendly and could help you at any time. The equipment is pretty good and so far had no bad experience there. Highly recommend if your starting to workout or wanna get in shape.

Really want to love this Y, as it’s very close to my home and has all the facilities and classes that I enjoy. We have had the membership of the Y since 2013 and always enjoyed it. However, this Y Is really a disappointment! The shower in

I feel that this institution has a lot of potential value but it really needs to overhaul how it organizes its day-to-day activities. Something as simple as updating the online schedule would really be an excellent Improvement.

Nice place to workout. There is a playcare program were you can leave your kids for up to 2 hrs a day included in your membership - great feature for parents!

Awesome staff! The Y has something for everybody to stay active. They have a great gym, pool, play structure for the kids and tons of classes and activities!

The gym is great... they need better security for change rooms. Too many "people" playing around and members having things stolen.

This place has made it so I can make important life changes for myself and now I'm happy to report I've lost over 30 pounds!
