I very rarely leave negative reviews but for everyone's benefit I need to stress how unhappy I was with my experience purchasing from Ryan's Pet Supplies. I purchased brand new electric sheep shearing clippers and paid instantly, pretty standard stuff. And they were shipped to me pretty quickly. However, when I opened the case they contained the clippers but none of the paperwork and accessories that they were supposed to. Alright, not a huge deal, I kindly emailed customer service and explained the situation. The next day I had a voicemail from customer service apologizing and saying they would send me an entire new shipment with the clippers and all accessories and an attached return label within, to simply send back the original ones I received, a total exchange. Ok, a little overkill, but still trying to resolve the situation in a timely manner which was appreciated. I received a large box, again fairly quickly, and within that box was another box with a return label already attached to it, and in that box was the clippers and accessories, perfect! So I put the original item in the box with the return label already attached and checked to see that it was a FedEx return label. I found that I could drop off FedEx packages at Walgreens and I did just that the next day, they texted me a confirmation receipt and copy of tracking number and I was seemingly good to go. A few days later I received an email from Ryan's Pet Supplies reminding me to return my original item or I would be charged for it. I replied that it was already returned and I included a screenshot of the confirmation/tracking I received. I received a response shortly after from a customer service agent letting me know the confirmation number I gave them was for FedEx and it was suppose to be returned via UPS. I then proceeded to go back and forth with customer service trying to argue that they screwed up and I was not going to pay for an additional item because of their mistake. It seemed like they could care less besides telling me the return was suppose to be done through UPS. Eventually they stopped responding to me so I had to watch my item via the tracking number through FedEx and then stay on top of customer service as soon as I saw it was delivered to finally confirm that my return was received. A huge pain for simply asking about some missing paperwork and accessories.

So I've been coming to ryans for close to 10 years, before and after becoming a professional groomer. Its had its ups and downs. But recently under the new ownership Ryan's has gone into the toilet and flushed its self many times over. I understand that 2020 was an adjustment and closing the warehouse was understandable. It's been a year since lockdown and they should have figured this out by now to open the back, unless they have no intention to open it back up then just say so. So now you have to order up front and wait for someone to pick it for you. No big deal right?? It is a huge deal when their website/system is never updated and it says something is in stock and it's not. Which leads me to another problem. EVERYTHING is out of stock EVERYTIME!! I made a list the last time and out of 10 things they had none. Even basic stuff like dematting tools and nail clippers. This time I looked up an item said in stock. I went down to look at it and they say it's not in stock. I pull it up on my phone and it says" in stock". SMH. this place is getting more worthless as time goes on. You guys get a pat on the back for putting in a hipster fake wood floor...awesome. Now can you get back to being a grooming supply company. Its no wonder Amazon is taking over the world. As soon as you guys address this issue I would love to take this review down.

I ordered off this website thinking it was a reputable company. On May 24 I ordered a $215 clipper set which the website said they had in stock and were ready to ship out. A week and a half later I called them to see the status of my order because they still haven’t shipped, they then proceeded to tell me they did NOT have them in stock and did not know when they would receive the next shipment. If somebody had let me know that they didn’t have them in stock from the very beginning I would have at least been prepared to wait her order them from somewhere else. I needed the clippers so I waited another week for them to ship, so by the time I received my package, it had been 3 weeks from placing the order. I came home excited to open my package only to find a completely wrong item. I paid $215 for a wahl km 10 clipper and received a $25 5 in 1 adjustable blade. So after waiting 3 weeks and multiple phone calls, I still do not have my clippers. Plus now it is Friday afternoon, they are not answering their phone so now I have to wait till Monday to contact them. I understand that mistakes happen but this is getting ridiculous. I will update once I contact them on Monday and see how they handle the situation.

I have actually had problems with Ryan’s pet supplies in the past I’m a groomer of 12 years and every time I would use Ryan’s the customer Service would be terrible. Some of the rudest people that I ever talked to. I called yesterday because I received the wrong brand of shears and I kept getting put on hold and the staff always seems to have a major attitude. I missed a call from Axle and was trying to call back after I missed his call and was put on hold for so long that I just hung up and called back today, luckily axle answered and was very nice and had amazing customer service. He answered all my questions it was very kind it was a nice change from what I’m used to dealing with when I call Ryan’s pet supplies. I stopped using them for years because they kept getting my order wrong or charging me for items that I never received and was very mean on the phone so I just stopped using them for years but being in Utah they are the fastest to ship products to me because they are in Arizona and don’t take as long as pet edge or groomers choice. Ryan’s pet supplies needs to hire more people like Axle. He has great customer service and I hope I can talk to him anytime I have a question or issue with my order

Absolutely horrendous service! We had ordered supplies for our business, and we been double charged. I had also received my order PLUS someone else's order. I called to reverse the double charge, as well as get a return label for the order that wasn't mine. 2 totally separate issues, but they said they would refund me when they received the order back. This problem went on for almost 4 months. They kept 'having issues' with sending me the return label, because the return label was for my double order, not for these mystery items. Once I finally got a return label and sent back my order, it took weeks to get my refund. On the phone with customer service multiple times, each person was not helpful and was abrasive, as well as not actually trying to help me. Finally, I had a 3rd party representative call on my behalf to get the issue resolved, which that FINALLY got the ball rolling. Never buying from this company again. It was a nightmare trying to get my refund and send items back that weren't even mine!

This company is amazing! I am a dog business owner and have been wanting to upgrade my kennels for a while. I came across this company while I was searching for modular kennels and this company did not let me down. I appreciate the fact that they have financing through Affirm and their customer service is next level. I purchased the modular crate and some piece came in broken. Freight isn't always kind to packages, so I called the company and they had me send an email showing pictures of the damage (it was extensive). Next thing I know I'm receiving the replacements in record time. I understand that shipping has to do with the drivers for the shipping companies, but I was extremely pleased with how fast the replacement items shipped out. I highly recommend this company, if you want quality products, with fair pricing and excellent customer service. Thank you again, Melissa! (the agent that helped me with my replacements)

The customer service is top-notch! We recently ordered a grooming arm for our table, and due to the pandemic, the item was backordered. However we received a phone call from a real person notifying us immediately and giving us the option to cancel. We didn't cancel, as we weren't in a rush to get it. They sent us multiple email updates and let us know when the item was back in stock and shipped with tracking information. Then we got another call to let us know it was shipped. Out of all the companies I've purchased from during the last several months, Ryan's Pet Supplies provided the best service! We greatly appreciated the lengths they went to communicate where they were in the process of handling our order. I highly recommend this company and will continue to buy from this company again and again!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’m 58 years old, and this is the worst customer service I have seen in my life. I purchased a product online, and received my confirmation email with a link to check order status. The link doesn’t work, so I called. To make a long story short, I have called 7 times. I have been told the only person that can help wasn’t there and was given a specific time to call them back. When I called them back at the time I was given I was told they would be there at another time and to call back then which I did but was told the same thing yet again. I was hung up on once, put on hold for a half hour once, told someone would call me back two times which never happened. They have my money, and appear to have no intention of sending the product, or returning my money.

I've always gotten good service when Leo was the manager! since he has left its been a nightmare! literally! I back ordered soft muzzles months ago, still have not received a call. Last time I was in I was told the manager will call you once they are in, should be about a week tops, sorry we messed up with the order. Its now been nearly 1 month. I just called in, and I get to speak with some kinda guy, who doesn't say anything, just hangs up and transfers me to someone else. That lady was all snappy, telling me they are not in you, they come from over sea I don't know when we will get them. finish. No apology, nothing! Its been over 2 months since I back ordered them! I used to do my shopping with Ryan for my business, I guess I will take it elsewhere.

So we have been open for 6 years and purchased all our major equipment with Ryans. Unfortunately most of the warranties are 1 year on tables, kennels, ect. and after a year KISS your investment goodbye. My kennel banks are rusted, door don't open good, dogs can chew very easy on the suppose to be coated steel. My tables also rusted paint falling off. We had purchased 6 and I need three new ones at least. We scrub our kennels and tables down daily and dry them. I have reached out to Ryans and gotta sorry try buying some epoxy paint and we did that too but it didn't work. This is a lot of money to spend to what I thought would last at least 12 years or sooo. Disappointed in Paw Brothers Products.

I like the fact that they sell Roseline Shears but I don’t recommend ordering shampoo if you are a groomer. I ordered my products on Sunday evening and a window popped up after ordering that said they needed 2-3 days processing in addition to shipping bc of Covid. I sent an email to cancel the shampoo bc I can get it somewhere else in 2-3 days. Someone called to assure that window pops up on the weekend but my order was shipping out that day , a Monday and should be delivered in 3 days. It’s now been 6 days and my order still isn’t here. Please don’t guarantee my order is shipping out that day if it’s not. If it takes extra time that should be disclosed before the order, not after.

Purchased 2 grooming tub faucets for overnight delivery. The Sales Rep I spoke with told me they would be delivered on Monday and that they would ship out on Saturday. I asked him to double check before I spent $72 on shipping. He confirmed. On Tuesday I called because my order never came and they told me they were closed on the weekends and that my part would be in on Wednesday. So I basically wasted my $72 overnight shipping charges. Next I get the faucets and no attachments fit on it. You have to get one of their hoses and sprayers to go with it where it never mentioned it anywhere. I will never shop with them again. Terrible customer service and products. Very disappointed.

I am so impressed with the fast, efficient and friendly customer service I received. I ordered some clippers and when I lifted them out of the box, I realized they were not going to work for me. I emailed them asking if it was possible to return. I received a prompt response with a return approval and suggestions for replacement. I mailed the clippers back and they called me without delay when they received them and immediately issued my credit as we discussed via email. They ship so fast and I just have to say, I am pretty blown away by how well they do things. I have never been assisted this fast. Thank you so much! And to top it off, they seem to have the best prices!

One of the Worst places I have shopped. They will double charge you with in a sec but then act like it take a week to get your money back. I order a very large amount of equipment from them and was charged during the time of the order, as the item begun to ship I was recharged for each item one by one. There response was that it was just how there system worked and I would get a refund in few days. This took place on the 19th and today is the 23rd and still no refund on the over charges. every time you call they just give you the run around and refused to give your money back saying nothing can be done. pretty much telling me to deal with it. its not there problem

I have ordered twice from Ryan’s pet supplies and have been very satisfied. My order was the Spa by tropiclean shampoo and conditioner and pet cologne. These products are great and found it cheaper here. My second order came damaged the gallon handle was pushed in and punctured a hole there was shampoo and conditioner all over the box. Once I called customer service they requested pictures and they immediately sent me a replacement no hassle. I highly recommend this store. customer service, Patrick, was so professional and polite. Shipping was fast. Thank you for the best experience shopping at your store

Ordered cordless clippers and extra replacement battery…. Never was delivered then I contact them and make a claim with ups. They send a replacement and the extra battery isn’t in the box. Called Ryan’s and they said oh that’s out of stock. How is that out of stock when I already paid for it?! I’ve used Ryan’s pet supply since I became a groomer in 2008 and never had trouble with them until now and I’m extremely disappointed the lack of communication I’ve received through this process. And once I get my extra battery I will have to find another place to buy my grooming supplies.

Credit card theft, avoid! Our credit card number was used at Ryan's, despite the wrong address, zip code, and card verification being entered. After over a month, finally the charge was reversed... minus shipping! They actually charged me shipping on a fraudulent order that THEY failed to properly verify the credit card for, which is their responsibility. When we called, they told us to just take it up with our credit card company. Why should they pay when this is clearly Ryan's fault? Avoid... no accountability and the business obviously has some huge security holes.

This was my very first visit with them. I misunderstood the store's opening time and arrived at 7:30, only to be told they didn't open until 8:30. I called in to place an order and the manager went out of her way to help me get all my tools I need for grooming academy. They brought the order to me before the store even opened. She was very kind and so was the lady on the phone, despite my mix up. Unfortunately, I didn't get their names but I am so thankful for them being willing to go above and beyond for their customers! I will definitely be coming back!

Desperately needed another Metro Master Blaster 4+4+ . I'm in Virginia. Ordered late afternoon. Shipped by air at a very fair price. Arrived the very next day by UPS at noon. The most amazing force dryer for a 43 year old Grooming Salon. I have several !!! Thank you for a premium dryer and the Awesome Customer Service of getting it to me WAY FASTER than anyone else !!! You used to be able to go back into the warehouse area and browse the isles but that has changed. Now they have a small retail area when you walk in. I'm disappointed by this change as now, if it's not on display, you have to find it in their large catalogue and ask for it. On my last visit there were two "cashiers" working and they both had customers. I waited about ten minutes without even getting eye contact before I left. I didn't want to order from Amazon but this new experience is pretty lame.

Had an issue with table delivery and they didn't respond back to us. It also took well over three weeks which is insane. I missed severeal days of hassle free grooming bc I was out a table ... I'll leave anothjger review on quality of expensive table my head groomer wanted and only reason why i shopped here. I knew they would send cheapest way possible and my instinct was correct. We were so desperate we went to loading dock of trucking co. as result of Rayns not do the dirt work. Thx guys!

I have been going to ryans for my grooming supplies for over 10 years. The actual store has gone downhill so much in the past few years especially after their remodel. I just stood in line for over 30 min before i decided to just leave. So be forwarned. You might as well not soend your gas and money going into their store. You might as well just pay for shipping. No longer can you rely on ryans pet supply to be able to stop in for a bottle of shampoo during the day. Very disappointing.

I am so disappointed in this company. I have heard so many good things. I ordered ONE Andis Pulse ZR ii and they charged my bank account three times. The clippers are 400$! I am broke. I now have late fees for my car payment and my electric bills! I know have over draft fees because of their Screw up. I can’t even get ahold of them because tomorrow is Easter. I do not recommend this company. When I speak to customer service I’ll let you know if my mind changes.

Ryan's is the best place to find a deal. Looking for that special toy? They have it! Looking for that yummy treat? They got that too! Need ur scissors or clippers sharpened , yep that too! Plus leashes, collars, shampoos, grooming supplies, etc! Ordered something that was in stock. Time goes by I call customer service because i hadn't heard anything. Was told it was out of stock before I placed my order but they would be in the following week. 2 weeks since then, hadn't heard anything, called back tosay and was told they wouldn't be in stock until the end of October. Horrific customer service. If you speak to Melissa for tech support, I would sincerely ask for another provider. I am embarrassed for Ryan’s pet supplies to hire someone with such a lack of attitude. It was pleasure working with the team at Hershey Expo both the year of 2019 and 2021 but this woman replicated none of the same. Don’t forget, your attitude reflects as a company I would never hope to represent the same company as this woman.

Shop Ryan's every so often.. The products that I have purchased are defective. Spent over $ 7.00 for waterless shampoo 12 oz. the sprayer would not spray, even will all my efforts.. I will never drive the distance again. Also you can never find anyone to help you locate a product, if you do they are rude.. Would rather stand around talking rather than assist the customer. This has happened every time I have been there....

They’re probably great if you own a LARGE dog grooming salon. They charged us extra on our last 6 orders and we just caught it and they said “sorry, not our fault.” If you’re spending more than $500 a month with them, then go for it. For the smaller orders ($100-$300 a month), you might want to reconsider. The reason I gave 2 stars is because they do sell good products at a decent price. But customer service is lacking.

I normally order on-line but since I was in town, I thought it'd go pick my own stuff. I have so much respect for the people pulling orders! After looking for the items myself, and not finding thinigs, the workers stopped to assist me. I found what I was looking for plus a couple of clearance items. Not only did Ryan's fulfill my order, they went above and beyond to do so! I was in a car accident before I was able to pick up my curbside order. I emailed them asking if I could cancel it since I didn't have a car to get me there (I live up near Glendale) and they offered to ship it to me! I was so happy to get my dog's muzzle, which works great and I have gotten a lot of use out of so far. Definitely recommend!

Ryan's pet supplies is a great place to buy from but working there is a different story - especially as a temp. They hire way too many temps and thus feel free to let go when they please. I am a Veteran and a woman but this Veteran led and woman owned business sure is quick to let go of Veterans and women. I was one of them- let this serve as a warning to all who would like to work at their store.

Plus they price match. Probably not as fun without warehouse access currently (July 2021). Repair shop separate building but super service. I go to the store every so often. Always come away with excellent deals and great customer service. To the person that gave 1 star cause it was hot in there? Grow up we live in AZ. Never had a problen with my grooming supplies. Remember you get what you pay for, and you have to take care of your products. Planning a trip in tomorrow. Can't wait. Stay the way you are Ryan's.

I like Ryan's, but I want to love it. I would come here when I could, unfortunately the warehouse portion of the store is now closed to the public. This is good and bad, I normally would spend money on things I didn't know I needed, lol. They now have a small selection in the front of the store, mostly shampoo. You still have the option to buy through their catalog.

I have been trying to find an "in training" vest for my dog locally, rather than online. Ryan's has them with plenty of options for labeling. The service was great, and they brought out several sizes and colors to pick from and fit to him. They were also very well priced, so I ended up picking up two as I'm sure he is going to grow out of his first one soon!

I have used this company for years and they are one of the best. They have a very wide selection of products from shampoos, toys, leashes and collars, brushes, grooming tables, and more. They offer out of state affordable shipping. If you’re in Arizona you can pick up orders or shop in their warehouse. I highly recommend this supplier

Be careful with what you buy here. I've had several experiences now where I've gotten used products. The latest were clippers. When I'm spending my money I don't want someone's defected return. I feel like they have somewhere of a monopoly on the grooming industry so they can treat people however they want. Which really isn't right

Beware dealing with this company. They sell paw brothers which is complete garbage. Welds broke on tub. Been trying to return item and seems like they don’t want to help with the return. Found out by one of their representatives that the item was discontinued. Look at the recent reviews. At one point this was a great company.

Ryan's used to be a pretty great place because it was a place you could check things out before purchasing, compare items, size items, check out ingredients, see new things. It has turned into the opposite, ordering from a catalog in a lobby. I have no desire to go there anymore and prices are comparable at best.

Spent $1500 on grooming equipment through Amazon -> Ryan's Pet Supplies is the seller on Amazon. Ryan's pet supplies lost my order and still charged me. Customer service said "sorry" with no solution. Now going through Amazon fraud services to get the money back. Nightmare of a customer success team to work with.

The shipping is dang fast (like 2-3 days!), the customer service is quick and kind, and the variety of products and their price never fails. Never been to the physical store but, i will no longer order online from Ryans. i bought 2 blades 2 guard combs and one loop and they charged $12 for shipping and another $7 for handling. Ridiculous for items that are small and light. I will definitely find a company with a more fair shipping system.

Get readying they will double charge you because the “computers” “don’t work” and it will take an hour of battling them just to get a refund because the computers don’t work. Bla bla. Been coming here for years and will NEVER be back! 45 mins of waiting for a refund and still counting!

Their shipping practices are horrific. Product was shipped over two weeks ago via UPS Freight. It been at the destination for two weeks. I can not get the carrier to deliver it. They make promises, but fall short. Ryan's needs to find a better partner than the outfit. Shame on both.
