I usually have a wonderful experience whenever I come to any Sephora in Calgary. Although the one located in TD mall usually is very convenient for me as most of my makeup clientel is located downtown and some days I need to stock up on certain products before work! Although recently I’ve come into the TD location and had two consecutive negative experiences with one of their staff. The first time I had an encounter with this staff member I had come in before doing my own makeup (it was my day off and I like to let my skin breathe). Whenever I usually approach any staff member I am greeted warmly and they are eager to help! Although with this staff member she was very cold when greeting me and when I asked her a few questions on certain products and she arrogantly would roll her eyes (not even keeping eye contact) essentially brush me off with a short answer or would simply not use proper client etiquette. I was taken back by her attitude towards me, I wasn’t sure if she was simply having a bad day or genuinely didn’t want to help. I bought my things and left. On my second encounter with this staff member ( about a week or two apart) I this time had a face full of makeup therefor I don’t believe she recognized me, once again this staff member had a very arrogant attitude towards any questions I asked. At one point I got the feeling as though she was talking down to me and rejecting any knowledge or opinion I gave to her. She didn’t represent Sephora in a positive way what-so-ever and had the attitude as though she was the best mua in the building and essentially would brush off at ANY knowledge I had, meanwhile anywhere else I’ve gone the staff are always super interested in discussing different techniques or products I’ve found to work best on certain skin types/clients in general. Once I ended my encounter with this staff member because of her negative attitude, I saw her conversing with other staff members and she didn’t treat them disrespectfully like she had with me. My second encounter with this girl I made sure to ask another staff member before leaving (who was very warm and willing to answer any questions) what that first staff members name was and she told me her name was ‘Isha’. This second VERY kind staff member asked me after realizing i was leaving unhappy with my experience with Isha, if there was anything else she could to do help before I left (I left empty handed). I haven’t returned to that location and don’t plan on it. I have been to multiple Sephora’s all over the country and haven’t been treated with such an arrogant attitude. This staff member doesn’t know proper client etiquette OR proper customer service and believe the management here need to look into this Sephora member because she does not respect nor represent the Sephora brand positively. Why work somewhere girls are constantly asking questions and wanting to inform themselves on makeup if you’re going to come with a horrible attitude? If any staff member of mine treated clients like this I would fire them on the spot.

The woman the front girl got to help me was so rude to me my daughter couldn’t even believe it. We should have walked out of the busy store. I really needed my foundation though for my friends birthday night out. Very impatient, condescending, and sand-offish with me. Firstly when the front lady paged the woman to help me, they both chatted and I did not hear what they said, then they both very quickly went on their own opposite way. The woman in black yelled back at me, “are you coming or what? No initial greeting, or even eye contact which threw me off when she just walked away. I really thought she was saying it jokingly,…. because it would be unbelievable if she was actually treating me so disrespectful. Guess what, she wasn’t joking. That woman, with the gray black French braid down the middle of her head, would not listen to my questions and kept impatiently cutting me off and making it VERY CLEAR that she IS NOT a Sephora employee. I said if you’re too busy to help can you find someone else. She literally mumbled under her breath, “give me a break” as she stormed off to check my “database” with a Sephora employee who had the machine to lookup customers history of purchases. Which is what I kept trying to tell her I needed from the beginning. I simply just wanted to repurchase foundation I had bought before, but this woman who was asked to help me, even though she clearly wanted me to know she did not work for Sephora, went rouge on me. There’s more, I just can’t type more, this is so exhausting. To wrap this up after she was clearly done wasting her time on me she walked very briskly to two other woman dressed in black, that I’m guessing “worked” there but not for Sephora ? She was Clearly pointing me out and making faces and scrunching her nose literally looking like a pig. I apologize if It is tick or intentional I know not. The woman she told slowly half circled around my daughter with this contrite smirk on her face making us feel very uncomfortable. Very toxic environment there, what the heck has happened to management/ owners caring how customers are treated? I’ll never go back to that TD Core store ever , nor would I recommend it to anyone. Worst experience ever. Reflecting back we think she was perhaps either having a nicotine fit or something on that line of withdraw to be so blatantly impatient and rude. We just can’t believe it could be her demeanour all the time, or could it? Sephora do you even care about customer service? Who are these people working in your stores that are not employed by Sephora? They really do not care about your brand or customer service FYI.

Horrifically bad service that amounted to bullying. Came in to do a return on 4 items and the cashier spent lots of time opening the products (2-5 times) as if I had magically used it while waiting for her to return it. The cashier acted as if the return was being deducted from her own bank account. Near the end of the transaction I asked for a manager to share on the lack of samples I had received on my online orders and the manager (Aisha) smiled, did not apologies and told me to call in. I said I didn’t have the time to follow up on samples and that they were the same company and she repeated the same thing again (felt like she was reading a script and not listening to my concerns) about two more times until I insisted. She then just said ok. She then made a face and said that they “investigate all of these very seriously” as if I was about to attempt fraud to gain some samples. Did not apologies, did not try to make it up for it. Just passed the buck to online customer service. Took zero accountability. She walked off and the cashier printed a piece of paper and gave me a pen while asking for the next customer. A point - while I was waiting in line the cashier was laughing it up with the client before me, offered her samples and beauty insider redemptions and the transaction lasted well over 5-10 mins. But I was curtly told that she had to help another client. No asking if I wanted to trying anything, no asking if I wanted to redeem anything. And while I was writing my number she began a transaction. Even though there was only 1 customer in line and the other cashiers walking around. The employee followed their managers lead and treated me like garbage. I felt disrespect, humiliated, and that I was not a fellow human. The amount of disdain over a simple return was astounding. Unsurprisingly when I got home and opened my bag (purchased 2 products) and did not see a single sample. Instead of deescalating the situation or engaging with me on a human level I felt dismissed. Do not shop at this store if you are black. Do not walk in, do not interact. Horribly racist and dismissive management and employees that after reading the other reviews - have been racist and xenophobic to several other BIPOC individuals. Sephora Canada; maybe consider sending a third party specialist to this store to conduct an investigation. This is how they treat paying customers - how do they treat Black employees (who I btw never or very rarely see at this location). I left my name and number but do not expect to hear anything back after not even being treated like a human. Do better.

I love Sephora. Yes, their stuff is more expensive than drugstore brands, but their return policy is exceptional and great products are a skincare gamechanger (plus, for many things, a little goes a long way). I find their website very intuitive to use and usually do research before I invest in a new product. In store, they have very knowledgeable staff (who in my experience are super welcoming to ppl of all genders, racial identities, and so forth and don't go into hard-sell mode to try and get you to buy product), routinely have visiting brand reps doing demos and answering questions, and you can try most things, which is awesome. Surprisingly, even the Sephora brand has many good products, and price points are much more comparable to drugstore beauty/skincare items. If you sign up for (free) membership, they give you birthday freebies, and you can accumulate points and get different tier statuses. There are also sale and points events that maximize your point accumulation. I definitely recommend downloading the app to save things you like and find out when they're on sale, plus, when you buy online you can select some samples! I never thought I'd be a Sephora fan as I am price-conscious, particular, have zero brand loyalty, and I don't wear much makeup on a daily basis, but I here I am!

I like Sephora. I have some issues with their store, but they would never fix them because it would certainly reduce sales. 1. I hate the "romance lighting". How the heck am I supposed to know what makeup looks good on me if the lighting is so soft and flattering? I have bought makeup products, tried the samples, and had to return them when I realized how bad or garish they looked in the harsh light of day. But Sephora wants people to believe they look that good so they will never "fix" this. 2. Sephora has too many employees asking me if I need help to the point where I'm uncomfortable browsing the store. Not everyone wants to talk to employees. However, Sephora has excellent return policies, selection and variety. There is just no competing with Sephora. If you are on a budget, the house brand is very comparable in price to L'Oreal, but has far more colors and selection. Does L'Oreal sell airbrush foundation? They do not. Sephora house brand makeup does however. Only Sephora house brand has 20 shades of finely milled blush. Sephora cannot be beat. I will be back again. Constantly.

My mother and I went in over the weekend and had the absolute pleasure of being assisted by Alexx - She was incredibly knowledge about all the products she recommended, listen to all of our needs and questions, and look out for our best interests when it came to our skincare and haircare needs. Jasmine was my cashier and I have been helped by her before - She is also one of those employees that always seems to be putting her best foot forward in her customer service interactions. She always so kind and she knows the store inside and out. Was a pleasure being served by these two individuals over the weekend and I understand how hard it can be to always be "on" over the holiday season. I would just like to acknowledge that both of these individuals are valuable hires for the Sephora team and should be recognized as such. Thank you!

I boycott sephora. All their stupid product are full of bad chemical ingredients and their sellers also tell you none reliable information. I never brought back any products since I rarely purchased there. I wanted to try a eye cream. Pretty expensive. The seller told me that if I haven't use more then 50% I can exchange it. She never mentioned a time frame. I had bad skin reaction to it. I discovered that it was full of toxic ingredients and most of their products were. I went there to exchange it for something else more natural. I found one that was and it was more expensive then the one I had before. I was gonna exchange it and pay the difference. It was refuse cause I was pass the 60 days. Good on you to help costumers sephora. Shoppers is cheaper and have more natural ingredients.

I'm probably this stores most frequent customer as I come/shop here at least 2 times a week. Don't worry I know it's an addiction. Personally I really love the store and I've gotten to know some staff and makeup artists and they are exceptionally kind and caring when I get my makeup done. Of course no store is perfect and there are times when I really needed help and no one voluntarily came to help me and I was too shy to ask for help myself so I left without what I needed but that's not an everyday thing. As for getting my makeup done, there are really exceptional MUA'S and really average MUA'S. Other than that I don't really know what to say about the store other than that there's a reason I always go to THIS store and it's not just because it's convenient but because I love it here.

One star for the staffs including cashiers not friendly. I approach 1 staff if she could help me and she just show me where the products and left without asking if there’s anything else I need, nope nothing I was speechless when she turn around but I never give up and approach her again while chatting with her staff, I told her I’m looking for Armani foundation and gave her the number of the colour and she said we are out.and walk away Again!! Anyway I find that all the staffs are not helpful and rude so i decided to look around where the perfumes , and there was a a lady with smile face ask if I need help and her name is Alex she guide me and I got my Armani foundation 4.5 and other stuffs total amount 400 plus. And I thank Alex and 5 star for her. Cheers From Kelowna

Worst customer service ever.... starts with the manager (I think). Came in for a glamover and they treated me as if I was going to run off without buying the $50 minimum purchase. So they made me buy a gift card first under constant supervision and once I tapped my card the manager came and looked to see if went through and then nodded her head to say that I’m okay for a glamover now. Never have I ever been treated like that in a Sephora. Was it prejudice or racism? Maybe. The makeup artist, Mars, was great and did a fantastic job. No complaints about him. He made me feel comfortable and was super friendly. Safe to say I will not be returning to this Sephora ever and would recommend everyone to drive a bit further if you want a warm customer service.

  • Taryn Gunhold

I have had better experiences here than the Market Mall sephora. The staff are friendly and willing to help. Everyone is saying staff walked right by them which if so just ask for help. This is not the end of the world. They have other things to do too. This location always has the popular products in Stock. Where as the Market Mall location and even the Chinook location at times doesn't. For that alone I would give it 5 stars for not making me run all over the city for an eyeshadow palette. Also for anyone talking about buying the wrong shade or whatever you have 30 days to return it as long as it's lightly used. I have done this when I bought a brow pomade is the wrong shade and they were more than willing to return it.

  • Bekka Keller

If I could give zero stars I would, this is the worst Sephora location ever. I waiting for a staff to assist me in the skincare department, waiting about 5 minutes as 3 of them walked by me, I said excuse me, but I was completed ignored. Finally one helped me out and I asked for 2 samples, as I was trying to decide between to expensive moisturizers. She proceed to take the containers from me but than helped another customer for over 8 minutes as I stood waiting for my samples, no acknowledgment that I would have to wait longer. I just left the store. The management at this store should get their customer service skills together. It's because of multiple experiences like this, I just use their website. The Worst!

  • randall garcia

Sephora TD location probably has one of the worst customer services out of all Sephoras in Calgary. Just like previous reviews, they barely acknowledge your existence. They side eye you like you're shoplifting and my worst experience was when I was testing a product wrong and one of their employees gave me attitude and treated me like I was stupid. Keep in mind I was stating how a setting spray nossle sprayed unevenly but she said "shake it" and then left. First thing is that shaking a setting spray bottle doesn't affect the nossle. Didn't even bother asking if I was okay, just gave me attitude so I left. These employees are extremely arrogant unless you have a connection with them personally.

  • Bailey O'Dell

Such a good experience there! I have mobility issues and a hard time walking around as well as intense allergies (some to scents and perfumes) and was having a small allergic reaction in the store while I was trying to get shade matched for a foundation and the worker (Zachary) was AMAZING about it. Not only do they allow you to sit in their makeup chairs even if you're not getting your makeup done so that I didn't have to stand, but when I said I needed to go and was having the reaction Zachary (god I hope I'm remembering the name right) got me samples really fast and was nothing but helpful and quick to make sure I got out of there fast. Literally the best Sephora experience I've ever had.

  • Shelby Buick

Went in looking to buy a whole face of makeup while I was staying downtown at the dorian, I wandered around and sales associates were everywhere and just watched me like a hawk. I finally had to ask for help finding a red lipgloss. She tried to sell me a Sephora brand matte red lipstick and a glossier lip gloss for $20. Well, I told her I wanted a red lipgloss and was not interested in wrecking a $20 lip gloss with cheap matte lipstick when red lipgloss does exist. (Thank you Clinique) She told me to go to shoppers if I want a lower price range. So I went to the boutique there, got help and every product I wanted and then some. Just embarrassing for Sephora.

  • Rusul Altameemi

The worst experience I’ve ever had at this location. Some employees and management were extremely Rude. There was extra discount for members and I have asked the employee at the cash multiple times is that the price with discount because it didn’t make sense, she said yes and was super rude. I ended up leaving the place checked my receipt was not applied, I went back they got the manager to fix it he did but was extremely rude as well. Did not listen to what I said not a single word of apology. All he said was it was a long day and left. I never leave a negative review about a place and been a loyal vip client of Sephora and felt super disappointed.

  • Lynne Nguyen

This sephora place is very unreliable.i had my appointment booked for a demo facial at 1 pm ....arrived early n they said they busy n somebody wrote me down for wrong day..we can't do you today .want to come back tomorrow. ? No considerate for people time to get there n got turned down even though i had my appointment booked.wasted 20 bucks to pay for downtown parking n time to get there n got a sorry the person on break n we are busy....they don't even consider your existence. .it's sad but true...it's in the nice mall sad staffs have the don't care attitude.people please go to other sephora stores where they appreciate your business and your time.

  • Emma Gurmin

Literally the worst service ever. I went in looking to get a sample of some makeup (foundation) and I was treated like I didn't know anything. The girl working told me to "go find it and bring it to her" after I asked her for a specific foundation while looking for it for about 5 minutes she came over and told me it was discontinued. I then asked her for a different sample and she acted like I asked her to take out the garbage. Horrible attitude rolling her eyes at me. Every time I go to this Sephora I have a horrible experience.. I would rather go way out of my way to shop at Chinook or Southcentre then step foot in this one.

  • Prabh Toor

It would give this store even negative stars. Their staff is not even trained well. They are providing wrong information to the customer. I made a purchase and i do not live in Calgary. Associate at cash told me incase if i want to make a return i can call customer service for return label and then send products back but there is not such return policy they have to return the products bought in store. Now it feels like putting my money in garbage. So at least they should train their staff well about their policies and i would say Sephora should at least value their customers. Really disappointed with Sephora policies.

  • Han Huynh

I booked the 60 mins make up appointment. The girl spend 15 mins just to find and sanitate the make up products. I show them the style that I would like do it. The final make was nothing same with what I have showed her. The foundation was not stay on my skin, I told her to retouch and she make it even worst. The eyes brown was uneven colour. And the staff denied to fix because time up. I was so embarrassing to walk out of the store with the make up look. Please don’t accept the appointment if you guys don’t have the professional make up artist. Waste customer’s time and money

  • Boa Python

I came here this Monday September 11, with my boyfriend. I was standing around and was trying to get some of the staffs attention and they just walk past you. I was able to get one girls attention and she just pointed to me where you go, instead of walking there with me, recommending which product is best. (I was looking for some brow gel) The Beauty Boutique in Shoppers Drugmart in this mall gives way better service than the woman working here. Sephora is great, but I'll probably do my shopping online than to be ignored and get sh** service from them.

  • Spring Blossom

I tested why they never ask me if I need help and watched the store for about 40 minutes and they only acknowledge yo if you look rich. so I went in again and got no help so then I went home and dressed up like I was a millionaire and surely enough they helped me right away. I also asked a girl who works at another store and they are taught to do that. The only problem is what if you're a ranch owner millionaire that doesn't dress up like a diva but have millions to spend. This problem needs attention or I'll shop at Holt Renfrew at all times.

  • S S

I'm not sure why Sephora's have such bad reviews on google but don't let that prevent you from going to one. If you need help, just ASK someone working there; don't wait around for someone to approach you because that may or may not happen. I find that once you ask any one of the girls anything, they'll help you or find someone to help you and it's always a great experience. I recently got a makeover from Efat for a cocktail party and the experience was perfect. Would highly recommend this downtown location.

  • Alice Peng

Was there today and received help from Dana and Constance. These two ladies were AWESOME! They are very knowlegeable. I got a mini facial from Constance, she was very caring, took time to find out if I had any allergies, recommended some skin care that is suitable for me. Then I received a full customized makeup from Dana. She knows how to work with Asian girl face features and knew exactly what looks good on me, she is a very talented makeup artist. Thank you ladies for making me beautiful!

  • Jeny Jayswal

Customer service is excellent. I am so happy with the service provided by Mannsharn. She was so humble and polite and helped and to find correct shampoo for my hair. In addition she provided feedback about the products and helped to choose one that was best for my hair type JVN kit for my curly hair. Other employees were helpful too and asks very often if we have found what we are looking for. Overall good experience. Just hope that all products are available so we don't have to go chinook.

  • Kristina A

Overall great Sephora location. The thing is that the store itself is pretty narrow, and most times when I visit I find that some employees aren’t giving any room to walk at all, and they won’t even apologize or say sorry. They will consistently ask you if you need help, but in my experience it’s just too much. I know they’re trying to be helpful, but most customers would appreciate some kind of distance while making their selection. Otherwise, it’s a great store with good selection

  • Shami Esmaili

I went to buy a foundation They showed me everything except the thing i need . They showed me the sun cream ,eye cream ,etc Every 10 minutes they told me ,this is my lunch time and a new person come They waste my time for 2 hours . one of them say this product is good and another say ,this is not good . They dont have enough enformation . They just concerned for lunch time and forced me to buy more products . And finally the couldnt show me ,which foundation should i buy

  • Chrishelle Newberg

Customer Service is not their fortè but the girl was helpful once I finally found someone to assist. However, the lighting in the store is HORRIBLE!! Spent time choosing out lipstick & lipliner that I thought looked great. When I got home and reapplied, it was way lighter than I thought. Looks like I drank a bunch of Kool-aid and it stained my lips. So disappointed. Especially since I never splurge on lip products.

  • Ashin De Silva

Some really awesome selection of great sephora brands, nice layout for quickly being able to go to different sections of store. Feels less overwhelming for a Sephora store when it's a bit smaller. Great help from customer service, major shout out to Isa, Sabria and Rora(I think that's her name), for going above abd beyond , they are super attending to everyone and really great attitude and efficiency.

  • Anjola Adeboye

I love sephora and go there regularly. I simply find that the larger locations are best. The one in the Core is crowded and way too busy while the one at Chinook (a larger one) is still busy but was able to help me quickly, kindly and efficiently. I would recommend novices as well as makeup experts to come and discuss here but would recommend going to a larger store for a more pleasant experience.

  • Dee Mason

Visited this location from Toronto. I Bought some things and returned them in all within the same hour because it was just such a lacklustre experience. No one smiled, looked at while talking or shown any interest in working in cosmetics. It was the demeanour of the employee I asked for help that made me feel like I should just order these products online or back in my home town.

  • Laura Getz

I was in there for about 40 mins looking for a lipstick for a wedding. Not one of their staff acknowledged my existence. I ended up having to call one of my friends who works at the chinook location for help, and it took her 5 minutes to help me. It's OK if you know what you're getting and don't mind being ignored. If you want actual customer service go to the one in chinook.

  • Michelle Benz

This Sephora is pretty good! Staff are generally friendly and helpful, though sometimes it's hard to find someone when you need help. It's also just so annoying that they don't get the same selection as some of the bigger stores like Chinook - I wish they could do inter-store transfers or something. I just want litres of hair care and more Pat McGrath cosmetics at the Core!

  • Raman Deep

This is the best Sephora I have been so far, Super clean and organised! Everyone is so welcoming. Linde helped me out today, She was extremely informed and friendly. Loved her good energy and passion for her work. So glad I ran into such a nice and knowledgeable person with such a productive attitude !!! I will definitely come back to this store. Thank you Linde!!

  • Adam W

The worst customer service I have EVER had. Asked an employee for a sample, I guess she was a manager or something, she lazily picked up her headset to ask someone for a sample. The store wasn't even that busy... I stood there, until someone came and she said "here" and handed the girl the product. I said "thank you" and she rolled her eyes at me. WOW. NEVER AGAIN

  • William

I had a wonderful experience here, the staff are very inclusive and warm. I was a little lost but Efat took the time to find what I needed, gave me different options to try, and made me feel very welcomed. I didn’t feel rushed or pushed, and she very patiently walked me through how to use the products. Thank you (especially Efat) for a great experience!

  • Megan Conley

I was in this location two days ago looking for a good concealer for dark under eye circles. Numerous sales associates walked past me and didn't offer me any help. I was honestly in the store for 20-25 minutes and was NO ONE even OFFERED. I made my way down to the new MAC store. Their customer service was great and I made my purchase there instead.

  • Diana Dang

I love this location because it has a lot of the popular items in stock and most of the staff are really nice. The selection is indeed alittle small but that is fine by me. I got a lovely mini facial by Michelle B today. She was super friendly and knowledgeable about the products. I really enjoyed everything in this store. Definitely recommend.

  • Sha Li

Customer service is terrible. One of the salespeople claimed that makeup products cannot be tried directly on the face. Excuse me? Where else would you apply makeup? Other beauty shops would HELP ME to apply on my face. I still purchased the products, but I would prefer to shop elsewhere. Extremely disappointed. Can I give zero stars?

  • Eilleen V

Pretty standard Sephora, albeit a bit on the smaller side... Staff are friendly though, the store is easy to navigate and it has all the essentials. My only gripe is that retail and tester stock seem to continuously be an issue. Lots of gaps in many products lines and testers are often in need of replenishment and/or organization.

  • Natalie J

Rude. Cashier was on the phone when I walked up to the till, just ignored me until she was done her phone call. Other staff members walked behind the register but did not offer to help. When the cashier was done her call, she didn't offer an apology or even a greeting, just rang up my purchase silently. Such poor customer service.

  • Larbicus

Man in the men’s fragrance dept was immaculate. Believe his name was Kallen (around 6ft male, glasses, Caucasian, brown hair with facial hair)?¿ Genuine guy and knew a lot about all the products that were offered. Took his time to attend and explain to me a lot about colognes. I would definitely go back just for him to help me.

  • Julia Silver

Had a very positive experience here with Princey yesterday, who was extremely helpful and saved me lots of time finding the right product and matching tone, as well as money for the wrong product I could have bought without assistance. Would really appreciate if management attended to the comment and her effort was recognised.

  • Kaylin Ross

Super kind and compassionate beauty advisor that I had to teach me how to hide a mark on my face. Although during that appointment I noticed two other beauty advisors that kept making comments while giving me dirty looks and glares a few feet away, they constantly kept walking by, and it made me feel worse than I already did.

  • Amanda Espinoza

While I agree this location can get crowded due to its small size, the service here is really great. They also thought through having a private space for facials services you can get compared to at Chinook where you do the whole thing out in the public (why yes, please stare at me and my green face mask).

  • Gabriella Terte

A 2 for the NICE & KNOWLEGABLE staff. Your newer staff has no clue about customer service & has no clue how to colour match. I went in hoping to take home a proper colour for a family party but the shade they chose was so dark for me, now I have to go out without makeup cause your staff messed up again.

  • Jazmine Smith

I'd give this place a 3 only cause there was nice lady who helped me with lashes once here...other than that it's always out of certain products.. the girls aren't to friendly and dont know makeup...serious training needs to be done about there customer service....better off to go to MAC next door.

  • Roshanak S

I Love Sephora in general. I have always been getting great customer service at this location and at Market mall. Two of my favorite color artists at the Sephora at the Core are Mars (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and Veronica. They are both amazing so if you need to buy makeup, go see them!

  • Kat Kitty

I was just in there the other day asking about perfumes certain sense and one girl looked at me like I was stupid when I'm looking for a nice gourmand scent she didn't even know the meaning of it why are people hired that don't know anything about sense it's all about it's all about makeup

  • Heidy Your guide

I wish I could draw a geometric area on my eyes as the customer representative at this store; she got an impressive knowledge of NARS & Sephora products that I ended up buying a wonderful concealer, a useful eyeliner, and an expensive although beautiful lip brush. Great service as always!

This store is much smaller than the other locations in the city so they have limited inventory and it can get very hot and crowded inside. Staff is friendly but they often run out of their promo gifts, point purchases and never give out samples with your purchase unless you ask.

  • Lyndsey Hardy

Besides a few employees who are always friendly and a delight, this store has the worst customer service. I frequent this store due to convenience only. Almost every visit I’m followed by security/employees. There is such a negative vibe in the store. Do better Sephora.

  • She Her

Under stocked, terrible service, and clean. They're always too busy to help you; whenever you need something they're always out of stock. Forget if you want to try something new; they don't want to help you. This location wants to just rush you through your purchase.

  • Toscha doyle

Too busy for my liking as well as some staff not very genuine they just wanted to make a sale! I also felt staff wasn't educated very well when it came to product knowledge.Love the products but think I would rather go somewhere else to purchase.

  • Mandy Bennett

Great staff! Sometimes gets really busy but they are more than welcome to help. It is a smaller Sephora store so expect a lower amount of makeup. But they are all very kind and friendly and are willing to help any customer looking for a product.

  • Kate Virzi

Had a mini facial this morning from Veronica who was so lovely and helpful! She was really knowledgeable with skincare and choosing the right foundation for my skin-type. Always love coming into this Sephora and have never had a bad experience.

  • jibriel Labidi

I was downtown looking for new facial cleanser. I actually found the security guard very pleasant, not sure what the other person is talking about? I'm obviously a visual minority too. The staff were all very kind and knowledgeable also well.

  • Zana Omar

I had a great shopping experience at this location. One of the employees named Laiba was very knowledgeable and helped me find a product that perfectly suited my needs, and made some other really good suggestions as well. Made my day!

  • Kathleen L

Always a hit or miss at this location, but asked me to wait 15 minutes to get my colour matched, felt like an hour walking around to get any type of help. I'd rather go to the Chinook location because the customer service sucks here.

  • M Whyte

After stumbling upon this store on a mall trip I am now 100% addicted to false lashes! The staff helped me get my first set on and explained all accessories needed to do it myself! Great experience! Super selection of EVERYTHING!

  • Lindsi Lopatynski

Went into the store looking for a product for dry skin. Laura was super helpful recommended me great products. She was very personable and knowledgeable about the products. It was a great experience and i will definitely be back.

  • Will Wilson

Sephora brings out your inner Seph-whora! You'll be finding all kinds of TD square trade with their array of eye liners and Brazilian bum cream. Only complaint is the layout and interior is a jarring Lynchian nightmare lodge!

  • Teisha-Marie Alexander

only low cuz I was recommended a tinted sunscreen what leaves the worst white cast. it does not blend into my skin tone at all. i look like a ghost. the origins tinted moisturizer with SPF 40. the worst thing ever.

  • alison h

Don’t come here unless you want the security guard racially profiling you openly following you around & staring you down when you’re literally trying to purchase stuff. Girl make your racism less obvious next time

  • Pariza Apponen

Pricey but always get great assistance by staff, always find something in my price range; love their return policy, prices are cheaper in-store than online for some products. Love the points/rewards program.

  • jasmine M

I forgot to let the cashier know about the amazing service I got from Dustin. He had the best tips when doing my foundation and eyebrows! Friendliest and best experience I’ve ever had coming to this store!

  • Ronit Golkov

Walked around the store for 10 minutes, not one employee came to me and asked to help. Not impressed . Thought luxury products have high price tags but exemplary service. Did not experience that at all.

  • Tara Lee

They have the best people working here. I always come to this Sephora when I'm in town. Today Evangeline helped me pick a foundation even though it was not from the brand she was promoting.

  • Emma Victoria

I'm always greeted when I come in, but when I actually need assistance, I can never find anybody. I find they run out of things a lot and things are poorly stocked and in the wrong places.

  • Holly Rees

Efat helped me with all my questions and recommended great products based on my preferences and tone! Helped a ton since I am typically a cheap drug store makeup kind of girl.

  • Mel C

SHEREN who works here was such a queen. Cashed me and my friend out, was super kind and funny and helpful. Great conversation:) everyone that works here was super friendly.

  • Anh Phuong Tran

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The one who helped me choose the lipstick was amazing. She gave me the info I needed and didn't push me into buying expensive stuff.

  • Hìldë Runnström

This Sephora isn't nearly as spacious as other locations. Many of the aisles are like pieces of a puzzle that don't fit together. The staff are annoyingly patronizing.

  • Laili Attahi

All time my favourite place to visit and get my favourite products. They are very helpful in case you don’t know what products you should get for hair, skin and etc.

  • Mel R (crow)

Staff can be hit or miss, some are super friendly and will help while others won't even bother to smile. Would be nice to get more consistent service.

  • Candra Jannah

Kelsie and Noor help me today with my online purchase. You can tell they love what their doing. Keep up with the positive attitude girls!!

  • Kristen Knight

They never have what I am looking for at this location and it's cramped and smells too heavily of perfume. The staff are great though.

  • Justina Ty

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Don’t go there unless you want to be kicked out of the store. Employees are so rude and unprofessional!!

  • Tia DeLauria

You're helped quickly and they found something minimal and light for me which is great because I dont use a wide variety of products

  • Susan Machan

Went in looking for shampoo and conditioner. The person helping me was so friendly and quick to help me out. She was awesome!

  • Meg Mar

If your a make-up and skin care fan? Then this store is for you. Great selection. And yes. They sell perfume too. Expensive.

  • Jermaine Kimani

Asiya answered all of my questions nicely. I loved having her guidance and she’s really good with skincare and all :)))

  • misswhyte

  • Reythe Hermann

Staff here is so helpful and it’s always stocked. I would’ve given five but the mall hours are weird.

  • Darshan Dhillon

Nice outlet with quality stuff and friendly staff. Well located next to 3ave c train station

  • Crystal Lynne Dawn Day Chief

The staff are friendly and helpful and the makeup and cosmetics are sweet great prices

  • Jer de Âmô

Misgendered a few times; very inconsistent with being nonbinary accepting.

  • rajeev gupta

Not much discounts, but you can try and test before buying items.

  • Ambar Adams

Good but the last time I went I realized the prices are too high
