"Just annoying really"
"I forgot I had removed my card from my wallet earlier and didn't have it with me to pay, this being after the Store Manager on duty had swiped through all my items"
"As a store it's not too bad"
"A special thank u to the staff of this store for unconditionally working round the clock in times of crisis to ensure that customers like me get our shopping done without much hassle"
I’m a Uber eats driver and the shop staff here are pathetic. I came to collect a order. They said another Uber eats driver has stolen it so cancel the order. But me cancelling the order doesn’t cancel the order it just sends another driver. A massive chain like sainsbury should just accept the theft and replace the order. How about do your jobs correctly and 1. Put the Uber orders in a safe place 2. Own up for the error you have made when handing over the order by not checking the order number. Stop wasting customers time and drivers time when they are trying to earn a honest living. Disgusting service only 4 items they should of just replaced them as I had it on the app. I could of shown them but staff not interested.
Just annoying really. Was waiting in a large queue with 1 girl serving on tills. Another girl appears to help tackle the queue, at this point 2 queues have formed on each till. Please explain to me why when it came to my turn, I was just binned off to go and join the newly formed queue after waiting patiently. Its just pure and utter laziness, I had one item to scan for goodness sake. Customers come first, other duties second. Literally training 101 in the retail market. Sort it out.
I forgot I had removed my card from my wallet earlier and didn't have it with me to pay, this being after the Store Manager on duty had swiped through all my items. He very kindly held them for me whilst I went back to retrieve my card, super polite and went the extra mile. I've shopped here for years and it's always impressed, I felt this occassion warranted an expression of gratitude and the best I can think of is a positive review (sorry I can't remember the store managers name).
As a store it's not too bad. It has some of the essentials of a inner city supermarket store. But there are a few major flaws. The stores always a mess, I know theres high footfall but stock everywhere. Also the staff, some of them seem to have no idea how to interact with customers. I got served at the till with no other words spoken except for the total price. Disappointing as I like Sainsbury's.
A special thank u to the staff of this store for unconditionally working round the clock in times of crisis to ensure that customers like me get our shopping done without much hassle. A special thank u to Mr. Tom who not only helped me shop but also helped me carry the bags as I was struggling to do this myself with a young child. Keep up the great work guys!!
A lady came in today to buy some alcohol and her friend told the cashier that not to sell any alcohol to her because she’s not well but the cashier ignored her completely and serve alcohol to the lady I think this was very unprofessional and the cashier (big guy ) have more responsibility towards the shop rather than just serve the customers
Ordered 20 items via Uber Eats, 10 were removed of the order during order prep and only 4 were delivered and of course custumer service only replied that they appreciate my concern. Time to stop this scam of a service as both staff and custumers complain about it.
its quite alright in products and cleanliness, nice little shop, the cashier managed yesterday to scan my products with one hand in his fleece pocket, chewing a gum while being being mute except for the amount due. made my day, had a good laugh !!! …
its one of the worst branches I've ever felt with , really bad service at the tills ! don't know how such people like them been employed , anyway , the only reason makes me go there quite often is that its just next door :( left with no choice
Ive lived above the store for 2 years now and enter daily, Id like to thank the team here for the high level of customer service they have maintained throughout this time and the friendly atmosphere they emit.
Local shopping Good items but Manager very rude I was trying to look at a different brand cigarettes and he told me to hurry up it’s not a complaint to let everyone know Sainsbury’s pure professional ism lol
Very conveniently located near my hotel in case I get the munchies... Plenty of offers on snacks and basics. Good fruit selection. Remember your 5 a day folks …
The shop is dirty - cigarette ends outside window smashed and inside v v untidy - staff are pleasant and cheerful Shop needs a constant cleaning
Nice store, not as many ready meals as Tesco. The Team are always friendly and helpful and have a good range of fruit and vegetables.
Don't bother with this one unless you really need something, which you could always buy from other supermarkets around.
Its small shop but it haa good location in the heart of Birmingham city centre thats the good thing about it.
Good staff but a lot of shop lifting takes place not the nicest of people
Friendly staff but very limited selection, often runs out of the basics
Parking's not easy but it's near the railway station
