My husband & I had a great experience working with Robert in finding our first home several years ago. Robert came highly recommended from our relative, but after a bad experience with our past realtor, we were a bit skeptical. It has been 5 months since my husband and I moved into our new home and we are definitely happy here! There are certain elements that we would change about the process & more questions that we would have asked Robert prior to closing on our home, as we look back on our first home-buying experience, but all-in-all, we were very happy to have worked with Robert.

We just sold our home in Salt Lake City for an amount considerably more than the listed price…a seller’s dream! Robert and the team at Salt Lake Realty Group were exceptional from start to finish. They definitely have a passion for what they do, and a sincere and genuine interest in helping their clients. I quickly recognized that Robert was the agent I wanted selling my home when we met to discuss how he and his team would do it. His presentation covered the details…what to do to prepare the home for sale, his pricing and marketing strategies (they resulted in a huge outreach and multiple contracts), a courtesy home inspection (did identify things that I did fix to put a potential buyer more at ease), and his approach for reviewing offers and helping me select the one best for me. The second involved the late discovery of an underground fuel oil storage tank that quickly became a difficult issue to resolve with the buyer. The Due Diligence period was about to expire and the sale was at risk. Robert and his team expertly navigated the issue and the buyer and I reached an acceptable solution. We closed on time with Robert there by our side…from start to finish. I will certainly want his help again.

Robert was awesome in every way throughout the purchase of our first home, even though we were looking at lower-priced condos and townhomes. Some of the ways I felt Robert went above and beyond were the following: -Communication: Not only is Robert extremely quick to respond, he also takes initiative to ensure that you are clear as the process moves forward. We had a longer than normal escrow, and he was sure to call every week to make sure we were feeling good even when there was not anything to be done. -Setting Expectations: Robert never promised anything he didn't deliver. He was also extremely clear about what was possible, what was reasonable and how to best get the result we wanted. -Negotiation: Robert seemed to negotiate very well getting two of our offers accepted in multiple-offer situations. (One property canceled through no fault of Robert's). Additionally post-acceptance, Robert was able to get some significant repairs covered by the sellers. -Flexibility: My wife and I both work and both have different buying styles. We viewed several properties separately and had probably some conflicting feedback about what we were looking for, and did or didn't like. Robert and Tom Embley are outstanding real estate professionals. We live in Colorado and in 2016 we needed an agent in Utah to help us to find a house in Salt Lake city. He produced detailed market analysis and reassured us that his firm can handle it. House had renters, furniture and again we were not in Utah. If you are considering selling your home I would highly recommend talking to Robert. We have been communicating for three years before we reached the point of bringing our house to market. But when we finely decided to go he jumped into action. He arranged and paid for incredible photography; it never looked so good. Even before we had our home ready to show he was communicating with potential buyers. With our delays getting our house ready to show it was the Christmas holiday season when we hit the market. In spite of that we had 10 showings in the first 6 days; 3 made offers and we sold our home for $15,000 over asking price. Which to be honest was $15,000 above what I expected to get.
