Love the food here! But my review is for the security here. We were informed and ESCORTED out for bringing outside food. By having a pizza box from outside with a mere two slices, were enough to tip them off to be personally escorted out within the center of San Pedro Square. While I feel the security’s embarrassment having to do it. I suggested to my friend and I to eat right on the gate of the public sidewalk to riot while we angry eat. All while their security guard watch us from a distance eating pizza. Harmlessly. I was nice, and inquired with the guard to which he confirmed that the issue was the box, and that by bringing outside food was a problem for other people to find a seat to eat. When clearly at the time. Many tables were open. Including outdoor. While there is no community here supporting other businesses nearby rather than their own. I still went back in to one of my favorite bars in San Pedro to purchase a beer to which I angry chugged. Work the system!!!

The last time I visited this area was over 9-11 years ago. A lot has changed but I think in a good way. They have built a huge parking lot and a lot more restaurants. My buddy from 12 years ago when I started the my chapter in the military had brought me back here and I was in shock. I remember sitting down at only benches and food trucks were everywhere. I am glad the a lot has changed but I can’t tell only between 9-11 years has passed and some the bars I did attend were starting sticking to feel sticky and muggy. I would definitely come back to see what the life is like on a Friday or weekend. The inside of the new building gave me a vibe of place in Food Hall at Bottling Department in San Antonio, Texas. Both cool chills places to grab a beer and hang out with friends and some shopping to do.
Whether it be an assortment of food, desserts, coffee or liquor, or being family-friendly, San Pedro Square Market won't disappoint. Basically a one-stop-shop for all our needs—Unique Ice Cream flavors at TreatBot, One of the most delightful coffee at Voyager Craft Coffee, Craft Beer at the Market Beer Co, Burger, Noodles, Falafel, Momo, Pasta or Tacos, literally anything one might ask for. Now, imagine all of this with Live Music too. Also, Karaoke Nights. (check out their calendar) And that's not it, parking won't be an issue if you're coming to this spot. I can't help but mention the dramatic views of the downtown during the day/night & tons of photography opportunities. #Day4
My wife and I started at O'Flaherty's Irish Pub for the live Irish Music but ended up staying here for the entire evening because of the band. Tonight's band was, The Breaux Show. This band killed it and was the highlight of our evening. The Breaux Show band was exceptionally. They knew exactly which cover songs to play that had crowd dancing and vibing. Also, looking at the event calendar, there is a different band scheduled almost every night of the week for the month of October. Will we def be coming back for more.

In town visiting, you get a nice mixture of foods and drinks for everyone. It was great this weekend bc a lot of folks were here to watch the 2nd match of the USMNT World Cup match vs Canada and it was great. You can get decent crapes, variety of beer, the Pizza was really good, and Boba tea here has very unique varieties. Overall very happy to check this place out, I definitely recommend checking this spot out.

We really liked San Pedro Square Market, there are tons of food options and nice seating area outside, I would recommend getting early on the weekends if you’re planning on finding a table as it gets CROWDED, we went with tacos and had a couple of local brews from the bar but seems you can’t go wrong with the food you choose, everything looked tasty. Would recommend for a nice Saturday/Sunday afternoon. Ohh and they play live music if you’re interested
This bar is in its own spacious area towards the front of the San Pedro square market. The bar has many cocktail options, I personally recommend the Mariposa. There is plenty of seating with tables and being part of the San Pedro market square, there is also a huge variety of eating options right there. They have live music on some nights which you can enjoy while sipping a nice cocktail or even a coffee from the coffee shop in the same space.
I don't go here for the food or service. I go because of location and atmosphere. There is always a wonderful hum of activity and vibrant energy. The crowd is diverse and fun.

A great concept and pleasant last-minute stopover on a late summer Saturday afternoon. I've been here many times because my work is close, and this place never fails to delight. Today we tried the crepe place. My wife and I shared one savory and one sweet crepe. They were more than enough for the both of us. We sat outside in the common area and listened to a tight blues band with a talented vocalist. A lovely adventure!
This place is great! I came for lunch while visiting the area with family. we ordered a few things to try different foods and I really enjoyed the seafood spot. They had a lot of spaces indoor and outdoor to sit and enjoy your meal. For those who like sports, they were playing the football games!

The San Pedro Square Market is a great concept. It’s an indoor space with various food/drink vendors. There’s something for everybody in here, even the kids. There’s indoor and outdoor seating available. I love the old school truck outside, which is perfect for a photo op. If you can’t decide on a place to eat or are looking for something unique to do while in downtown San Jose, this is the place.
Lots of good food options in the market. The outside open area is great to hangout with friends and family. It is very lively out there specially over the weekends!! parking might be difficult to find. There are lot of good bars and restaurants outside of the market. Bars are open till late thats great.

Great food court with a unique traditional/ retro theme. Well managed, picking only unique and boutique food vendors. Feels more like a food truck convention. Highly suggest the hip bar and WeWork like ambiance near one of the entrances. If you live in SJ, you should definitely swing by! Lots of parking lots/ complexes nearby, but may need a small walk.
Super nice, clean and Cousy place to meet your friend, get some snacks/light food or drink and just enjoy. They have live music, I was there on Wednesday around 7:30 pm. I will definitely suggest this place to visit. The parking is little challenging which you can park in the parking just in front of the market place for $ 5:00.
It is a perfect environment for a date or an hangout! You have so many food options. I Love the gelato place and the serious dumpling place! Parking is easier to find as well! 2 hour parking after 6PM and you have a parking lot you can also park

San Pedro Square Market Bar is the one stop destination to the area's finest food joints and other retail outlets. Located on the San Pedro Square, it is a must visit place to experience a unique blend of modern day infra icons and heritage places. Views just come to life while many good outlets serve lip smacking food crafts.
We especially enjoyed the special bar drinks, and the food was delightfully delicious.Once, I've been to this place, now I've become a big fan of this place and would love to visit them again.A great place for good food and drink. Plus live jazz every Wednesday and Friday nights.Great atmosphere and good food.
Great night scene, live music and several restaurants and bars, really impressed with this place ! Such an exiting zone with indoors and outdoors sitting , beers and food that can be enjoyed in beautifully decorated areas , even the lights are pretty and Street art males the environment blend with the city.
Whether with a large group, or an indecisive few; San Pedro Square is perfect. The plethora of food choices is guaranteed to please all palates, the bars have excellent beer and cocktails, and the live entertainment means that nobody will be bored. Bring your friends and family for a great night out.
I went with my wife and friends to have lunch before a 49ers game. I had the Hella Shroomin Burger from Hella Good Restaurant. The sauce in this burger was fire. I let my wife taste it and her eyes said it all.

This place starts picking up the crowd since post covid. Many good places to eat. You can enjoy some good tacos to pizza and accompany with some nice, rare draft beer there. Good for kids and adults hanging out for lunches. Kids can get Michigan donuts there too.
Lots of food options. Several liquor, wine and beer bars with many local options. Coffee and desserts also available. Paying deck immediately adjacent, be sure to ask for a voucher. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Family friendly. Often live music.
Great place to hang put with some friends or to take your partner tu dinner. Place has a lot of variety of food. A lot of available drinks with great flavors. Also you can order and pay online with your phone by just scanning the QR on the table.

Always love coming here. Live music. Lots of food options. Good beer. Only thing is beer lines are usually really long cause it takes so long. I highly recommend more bartenders and checkout stations to catch up with the demand.
Cool vibe in this busy courtyard with quite a few eateries and a large bar. We tried the tasty tacos (duck and carne asada), and a couple pints of IPAs before heading over to the SAP center for the Sharks game and all is good.
If you are visiting San Jose, you must stop by San Pedro Square Market. It's a trendy, vibrant dinning facility that has many restaurants and bars. Great place to hangout with friends and to get food and drinks.
My home town. ❤ I enjoy hanging out here with friends . I like that there's several options to grab a bite from. Live entertainment while enjoying your meal or drink. Love the social atmosphere and the ambience
This place is really cute. Plenty of food options, we went for tacos and burritos atthe taco bar. In the patio, there is often live music with seating area. There are food vendors on both sides of the square!
A bit more rundown than other similar spots. The food here is also nothing special. It looks like there's a new section around back though with a decent selection of newer restaurants. Might be worth a look!
This is a neat place. There are so many food and drink options available. We ate at Blush and had a great experience. They had a jazz band playing inside but it would have been nicer in the courtyard area.
A really love place, filled with lots of different food options, a bar and randomly, a barbers. The outside area is spacious and some evenings they have live music. A great spot, well worth a visit.
One of the best places I have ever been, from the vybe to the food, this place differently the place to visit, good place to meet with friends have great food with cold beer and watch the game

Wide variety of food, more on the expensive end with some food. Highly recommend the anchors! They have the best cioppino! Even better the ones I have in Monterey
This review is specifically for the bar. I know a lot of people are posting reviews about this place about the whole of San Pedro Square Market and not the bar.
Great place for a party. Great, attentive staff, very cool decor, lots of room, even with a live band the sound stayed at a level allowing decent conversation.
Pretty nice. Sat outside on Memorial Day, next to a ~250yo Adobe. 3-1. Place appears everyone loves the pizza, bar... I loved the outdoor seating, tho.
Great atmosphere, nice evening with a band playing amazing music, I loved it. Nice comfort food.
