I will not pay for services at this locksmith again because the women I spoke to (Leilani) was rude and condescending. I have gone here a few times before in the past (including when we locked ourselves out of the house coming home from our honeymoon ... Embarrassing I know) and was my "go to" place when I needed a locksmith. Today, as I was speaking to Leilani she laughed at a question I asked and was generally talking down to me during the call. I am not the most educated when it comes to the locksmithing world. While I did not take great offense to being laughed at and put on hold several times I also realize that I have many other fish in the sea to choose from for my locksmithing needs. Goodbye Sandia Safe & Lock -I changed the name to correct the error I made in my original review- Response to Leilani: You said "We totally disagree with your review as you didn't even get the name correct, you just assumed." This is an example of the fallacy fallacy, you presume that since I was in error about getting the persons name wrong that my entire review must also be in error. That is not a logical conclusion, while it may be true it is not necessarily true. Both of your names start with 'L' and over the phone both of your voices sounded similar to me. I did hang up after a moment of being on hold, realizing that I did not need to be talking to a person who would laugh at a question I asked. It may be a small thing for some and for me it is a reason to move on to other companies.

Prices are expensive. Just get your keys cut at home Depot. Also, this place will not cut blank car keys. They will sell and cut non-transponder keys for your vehicle, but they will not cut blanks that you bring in. Honestly, this place was a huge waste of time for me and the owner gave no real explanation why they could not help me. Go somewhere else.

First time there because I had to get some keys made. The keys were made very quickly. and the salesperson was friendly and extremely helpful. I use a shrouded lock on my gate which I have been ordering online because I can’t find it in Albuquerque. They actually carry them in stock. Win, win for me!!! Great store and excellent service.

A handyman who works for office buildings and apartment complexes told me Sandia was the best in town. I have had to get a lot of keys made recently, so I took his advice. I'm 100% satisfied with everything Sandia Safe & Lock has done for me. Both of the men who did work for me were friendly and helpful and did my jobs quickly.

Wonderful experience, I needed to have a lock looked at, due to it not working. Very nice location, plenty of parking. Dropped off my lock, they cleaned it up and was working again. They promptly contacted me to pick up my lock. Very reasonable prices, I will be back! Thank you! …

Lady here was nice, but she didnt have help and we had to leave. But we will be back she seems know what shes doing. They have a good selection of keys and accessories. (Will update post when able to come back for service)

Uses this place a number of times over the years and have always had a good experience. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Used them for car keys, house keys, oddball cabinet locks, and alarm key switches.

Just called them and the woman I spoke to was rude, condescending, and interrupted me. Glancing at the reviews here I see I’m not the only one who’s experienced this. Going elsewhere.

I just went here yesterday, brought in a lock set that I had no key to, they whipped out 4 keys for me in about 5 minutes! Everything is working great.

Took 2 weeks to get somebody to call me back, as all you got when you called was a recording. The lady said "Sorry, we don't do cars".
