Screw fix Aston in Birmingham is my local shop. I have visited this store a few times now and it has been a pleasent experience all the time. The staff is very nice friendly and helpful, no problems at all. The Manager is caring too and helped me when one time my online order was misplaced due to not picking it up for several days. I had forgotten about that order for about 2 weeks. They claim to be a home improvement chain for DIY, electrical, bathroom and kitchen products, plus tools and hardware. They are absolutely right about these things. I have bought several tings from there ranging from electrical items, bulbs light switches, extractor fans to tools and several painting and decorating items. Recently I bought wallpaper installation kit, wallpaper paste - dissolving one - as well as boarder and overlap adhesive. Also bought 3 paint roller sleeves. The wallpaper kit from Harris is not that good but the rest of items are great.

Normally I would go to the Minworth Branch which is my local. On this occasion I was in Aston so popped into this store. Disappointing Service. One member of staff. 11 people in queue. That's only counting in the store. I'm sure there were more people outside. And, as would be on this occasion, the customer being served was one of those undecided, catalogue flicking, changing and chopping type. In the background, behind the girl at the till several staff walked passed busy behind the scenes. A store bulging with busy customers who have their own clients to tend to waiting, and waiting and waiting. Before I got served it was 25 minutes. Sorry but this is not good business practice! Will shop at my regular not here. The purpose of this review is hoping that the store staff and management read it and realise that customers should come first. Sorry guys was not a very happy bunny!

Screwfix has an extensive and compressive range of products for the building trade. They have both an electrical and plumbers trade door entrance but cost of product's don't seem to differ too much from the standard public counter, so not really sure of the benefits being registered in those trade disciplines, although Fridays your offered doughnuts, generally tea and coffee is available with Jammie Dodger's or whatever on all other days. If it's a stockable item and it's not in stock it will be ordered for next day delivery, notification for collection is by text message. Fair prices mean often cheaper prices than a builders merchants. Stores are strategically located so that not more than 10 minutes of travelling time is required. Would definitely recommend a visit.

I went today 6th of june to get some silicone sealent for my bathroom. I have to say the customer service atleast of one of their staff was excellent.As i was waiting in a large queue. A lady called Bobbi as i could see by her name tag saw i had finished work (and looked as happy as a locked dog in a car) called me over to the trade desk in order to go through with my purchase. I had to thank her as i was fed up but i guess she coukd see the anguish in my face. She was quick to put through the purchase and told me to have a good day. Even dropped a little joke in. Its these things that make customers feel valued. Well done ☺

I start off by saying that whenever I go into the store there is a queue to be served. This clearly defeats the purpose of Click and collect as it still takes 10-15 minutes by the time you are served and have the item ordered. When going into the store today whilst there were a number of staff members they were to busy wanting to talk to each other as opposed to deal with my order. To make maters worse the woman who served me wanted to talk to her colleague whilst my card payment went through. Waiting 10 minutes for a box of cable clips really isn't good enough considering there were no other customers.

This screwfix branch, like many others, have a very good stock level with most items in shop or ready for next day. Customer services is mostly friendly even when I does get busy,but then there is a bigger sense of urgency in the staff. The products are branded and non branded so plenty choice to suit your budget. And returns are handles fairly hassle free. I've been using this branch for many years now and recommend it to anyone asking where to stock up.

Have to give this store 4 stars :) I work in maintenance trade, I was looking for a dremel kit that I couldnt find anywhere else. these guys had the kit (not the exact one I need, but close enough). guy who served me got part quick and offered me free screwfix account. friendly staff... opened on time 7am... Recommended.

Went in for a radiator today staff were extremely helpful and the gentleman even carried the radiator to my car and placed it in there for me I tried local plumbing merchants they couldn't even give me the correct size from the wall to the centre connection.. needless to say I know where I'll be going next time

Friendly staff at this branch, and I find that they hold more stock than other Screwfix stores nearby. The car park is a little small, but they are not busy enough to warrant having a larger car park, so it suffices. Staff are usually quite quick to process orders.

This shop is well located and generally has most things in stock. The problems you can come a cross when visiting is the carpark is very small and sometimes there doesn't seem enough staff for the foot traffic that use it especially around dinner time

I have been using this place for years now and always get my stuff at a very reasonable price. One can return the unused items within a month, no questions asked. Would be nice if Srewfix too offer free hot drinks as their neighbor Tool Station does.

Been shopping here for years! absolutely stacked range of everything hardware! Staff aren't just employed to scan goods either! They all know what they're talking about. Glad I've got a screwfix this good, so close to where I live.

I needed advice on what saw is best to remove a tree stump. All I got was "I don't know, I have never removed a tree stump". Then the sales assistant turned his back on me and walked away.

This store has a wide range of household goods! Here you can find tools for plumbing, and for needlework and much more! At the same time, the prices are pleasant and not high.

Rheia the duty manager did everything she could to help me refund a bulky item when there was a mix up after calling Screwfix customer helpline. Excellent customer service.

I get my screws from here for my wood work. A good range to pick from. Reasonably priced. Some great offers on the power tools too. Quick and convenient collection service.

They seem to carry stock for almost everything one could need. Quick service, good knowledge. The online appnis good to find what you need, it speeds things up no end.

Service not the best and did not have many items in store required. Went next door to Tool station - all round better experience and got items required there and then.

Today's service was horrible, made plenty ppl wait for 40 min while other staff chatting at the back. Slow and useless staff. Never returning to this idiots
