I was actually in this Laundrette when this incident supposed to have happened I can assure you that the lady that put the review on obviously didn’t like being told that she was doing something wrong the lady that was working in the shop at the time was very busy and she always tries to help everybody she could see there was a problem with the spinner so she did tell the lady to stop the spinner she did raise her voice slightly as the shop was full and she did explain to the lady that you need to stop the spinner quickly as it could damage your clothes because you haven’t packed the spinner properly and the lady that works there showed her exactly how to use the machine only to the lady that is writing the bad review only go and pack the Spinner wrong once again she obviously doesn’t listen to what she’s been told but I think it’s a bit unfair that she has written a bad review as this was all her own fault I use this laundry regularly and I have never had a problem staff very helpful and very friendly place to use

A real friendly, reasonably priced, clean and tidy launderette. Holly does an amazing job being there to support whilst managing service washes and the machinery and washer compartments are always clean and pristine. Been there on a couple of occasions now when my wash loads are bigger than what our household machines can manage and Holly has been there both times, once to help do my wash for me (which resulted in a prompt call to notify me it was ready 24hrs later) and the second I took my little ones with me and Holly was there to offer support and advice and chatted to my little boy who is a social butterfly. Wouldn't go anywhere else, cracking service, cracking machines, top notch!

Best laundrette. The 3 largest washing machines near window do 16kg. Smaller ones do 7kg. 2 double duvets fitted into the larger machine which the cycle lasted approx 40mins. Cost £5.00. Photo attached shows how to use it. The dryers pic shows coins needed. For each 3 mins the dryer needs 50p. Can use up to £8 to £11 depending on how dry you want it. They also have a spinny wringer, cost's 20p. Staff are lovely and always helpful. Been using for duvets mostly. Super that it's open long hours. Also the dryer I used overheated, owner came down, as I called while there. He topped it back over the time, so instead of 6 mins he gave me 10. Superb customer service.

Open late everyday apart from Christmas day. I discovered this laundrette at 7pm on the Sunday whilst working hard on cleaning my new flat. It's located near a convenience store which was extremely handy for me, because I had to buy some black bags (spontaneous visit to laundrette). The owners were helpful and kind, seeing as it was my first ever visit at a laundrette. Wonderful service and facilities and perfect location and I will definitely visit again. Thank you!

Machines very old and unpredictable. When open the door through drying it will not start up again. Or the machine stops working due to overheating leading to loss of your money. The machines do not look maintained and could do with being serviced once in a while because it would appear that they have never been serviced or de-fluffed. Price reasonable until you are the unlucky one who has just lost your money in the machine.

Romulus Fc have used Scrubs from a long time now, they are so accommodating allowing us to drop of kit out of hours (we call the dad who lives above the shop and he puts the bag safely in the back) and they also doing same day turn around which is brilliant. Everyone is really nice and friendly and always open to have a chat which brightens up the day. I would recommend these guys to anyone, great price, great service.

LOVE LOVE THIS LAUNDRETTE! FAIR PRICING! GREAT LARGE WASHING MACHINES , LOVELY OWNER AND CUSTOMERS!! I starting using Scrubs when going through an extension on my home with no kitchen for months. I googled Laundrettes in my local working area and starting doing my weekly wash here. Still use today for my work salon towels now , have a laugh and chat whilst doing your washing . Highly recommend.

I have been using this fantastic laundrette for nearly 10 months now and the experience gets better each time. The prices are the cheapest around, the customer service from Holly and her family is outstanding and the place is always kept clean and tidy with a friendly hand to help where needed. There is no other laundrette I would recommend as highly as Scrubs

A washing center that can only be recommended. As a stopover to do the laundry because you are doing a long camping tour around the UK, or just to meet nice staff who offer to help and support you. Very nice ladies there. Thank you and best regards from Germany.

Really good launderette, the staff are really helpful and friendly. It's also really well priced. Was a life saver when my washing machine at home stopped working, went to some others around the area and the prices were higher.

Brilliant it is open late very useful. However a hassel that the machines only accept 50p excatly no change and there is no change machine inside and often the shop they refer to go to for change doesnt have 50p pieces.

I took two duvets to wash and was met by a very friendly and helpful service. Very clean and a good number of machines. A great service and I would certainly recommend and will visit again.

Plenty of washers and dryers. The washers smell fresh when opened - very clean. The owners were very helpful. They let me stay on after closing time to finish my washing. I will return :-)

Fantastic little launderette, great for quickly drying clothes and you can get change easily from the shop a couple doors away with no problems if launderette staff are unavailable

£4.60 for a 16kg load wash took 45 mins - bargain! Took in a large cotton rug to wash. Lovely assistant gave me guidance and plenty of change for the machine!! Will def use again.

Some dryers don’t work and if you call and complain they say that’s what it is, so unfair as I paid £3 and got my clothes wet, just waste my money, I wouldn’t recommend this place

Really good for the vale of money beaver use a laundry in my life I had to dry some towels one week then one week did a little bit of washing like tee shirt very good for money.
