This service nsw branch is home of absolute and indiscriminate racist people. Especially, if you are going there for a driving test to transfer your international driving license. At First, They will try their best to fail you and then try to trap you with a learner license. I went to my driving test on-time but because of their instructor processes it got delayed and then they blamed me for it while only then giving instructions to put my car on right place in an enormous traffic within 10 min during school hours. Otherwise, I will have pay again. They deceitfully made me pay 3 times for the same test and it went on next day. Even though, I drove 4 years with my international in Australia and never had a single issue with Police as my license was in English and I was legitimately qualifying for Full NSW Driving License by Law but still I had to go through all of these pain and suffering just for a single license. The Manager and specially the assistant manager is an absolute bogan with the dirtiest, demonising and downsizing behaviour have ever seen in my life and in Australia. They are the face and prime example of what racist people look as they were not even following their own RMS given rules/policies whereas instead implying rules however they wish and thinking that am less educated then them while don’t know the any law’s of this country. They don’t even understand why do I qualify for a full license. It’s just all utter nonsense what happened and they really to understand other people’s perspective and following law properly by moving beyond their thinking boundaries. At last, did my test at another service nsw centre and transferred my license to full. It was really really upsetting

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY WHOLE LIFE. Would never recommend anyone ever to go to this place. If you are getting your license then be prepared for them to stuff you around and waste your time and money. We had a P license test booked in October and the inspector - Darren - made up some utter nonsense to say that the car was unroadworthy because the lights were the wrong colour. It was a very hot day, so I am pretty sure that Darren did this as a way of getting out of doing the driving test. So we had to forfeit our deposit and book another test. Then I went to the mechanics and paid them another $200 to check the car and do all sorts of tests and they said it was all ok. When I went back to tell them this, the fat lady supervisor had the nerve to accuse me of lying and getting the car fixed when I showed her the photos. Makes me think seriously that they are all in it together, just to fail people doing the test so that they can drive more revenue into the office so that they can look good. We gave up on this office - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THESE USELESS GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES TO GET UP ON THEIR HIGH HORSE AND RIP YOU OFF. And you know what, I rebooked a test the very next day at another service centre and they inspected the car and deemed it roadworthy. That just proves the MIRANDA branch are a bunch of pigs. If you dont believe me, just have a look at all the negative reviews in google about this branch. And guess what - the name that appears the most often is Darren. They said that they had 4 inspectors, so basically you have a 25% chance that this drongo will ruin your day. Have a look through the google reviews, and dont say you wasnt warned about them.

Went in and was greeted by a staff member at the front counter and explained what I was there to do, he informed me I wasn’t able to do it without added information. After explaining to him I do this regularly and I can in fact do it he continued to tell me it’s not possible, then he said I could take a ticket and see someone at the desk but they won’t help me. I took the ticket and saw the lady at the desk and everything was processed as usual in less time than it took the bloke at the front desk to prove he has no clue about the job he’s paid to do. On exit I showed him everything was processed as I told him it would be and suggested he receive better training. I wonder how many people received wrong information from these staffers who think they know everything….

Ignorant and untrained people on the front desk computer. Gave me wrong information regarding electricity rebates for pensioners. I am a full aged pensioner and had researched prior to visiting this agency that I only need the Pensioner Card and not the Yellow Seniors Health Care Card (which is only given to Self-Funded Retirees) to apply for these rebates. Stupid girl on information desk too busy fiddling, giggling and stroking her hair when I queried her advice. She was insistent that I needed the yellow Seniors Health Care Care for these rebates which is totally incorrect and told me to go to Centrelink and apply for one. Completely incorrect information, incompetent and very unprofessional.

Not a good experience..first they delay the driving test by 15 mins bcse they can't check docs on time even though we were there 15 mins early..so they rebook us..next time we come for the test and arrived at 8:05am, center opens at 8:00am and they said "our rule is we can't take your test bcse your are 5 mins late"...even though we apologised and told them we have a little child who was very unsettled in the morning and as he is very young and can't communicate yet, we had to settle him which is why were late by 5 mins but it's not their concern...a little bit of humanity and flexibility in this time would have been appreciaed.

Despite all the negative comments I read, I have always found this office and staff to be very efficient, courteous and professional. As an example, I’ve transferred registration for 2 vehicles from SA and a motor bike from QLD to NSW over the last 4 years and provided you understand your obligations to provide the required documentation, I’ve never had a single issue. Sometimes the forms you need to complete are ambiguous in some of the questions, I still have always managed to resolve ambiguities with the RMA representative without issue.

doesn't even deserve one star short bald guy needs to be reviewed, driving test instructor darren who btw didn’t put his name on the paper. he has failed numerous people. before i even turned on the engine he wouldn't let me leave because of a "frayed seatbelt" i just had the car serviced and he failed me because he took the wheel then said i did an illegal manoeuvre wow just wow!

My partner and I Went to Service NSW Miranda yesterday 26th of October 10am. We dealt with felicity @ counter 4 and she sorted everything out for us politely and swiftly, it would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t for the young lady on the front desk upon arrival who promptly told us we would not be able to do what we set out to do that day. Turn that frown upside down.

It seems like we now live in reverse world. I went to get my licence renewed quickly as I was about to go overseas. The customer service person was very helpful and my licence arrived super quick via express at no extra cost. Excellent efficient public service! But don't get me started on privately run serviced!
