I am very disappointed in this company and to be honest it has taken away from our excitement. When I found my dream ring I was ecstatic and I’ve heard good things about Shane co, so I was happy I found it on their website. From the start I have gotten conflicting information. I was originally told I could turn in my current ring for money off the original price of the new setting and it wouldn’t cost anything to have the stone placed in a Shane co setting… I was never asked if my ring originally came from Shane co or sent information on company policy. I even let them know I’ve never been to Shane Co before. When I reached out a couple months before my last payment, like I was told the sales rep then told me that it would cost about $350 to have my stone placed and they wouldn’t offer any money off for the original band because it didn’t come from Shane co. While that was disappointing I understood… I then ask if I want to change my prong color to yellow gold would it cost extra, and was told no. Then I get to store and was told it would cost an extra $150 because they need to change the head to fit my stone, since it didn’t come from Shane co. At this point I’m annoyed but willing to let it go because I was still so excited for my new ring. I signed up for the text message updates, and was told it would take a week for my ring to be ready… fast forward my fiancé picks up my ring and notices the prongs are still white gold and it’s the original head it came with. When confronted about it the rep tells him that yellow gold is out of stock. The questions that come to my mind is why wasn’t I notified… common decency would be to call and see if I am okay with it being out of stock or wouldn’t mind waiting for it be in stock. They told him it would be two weeks before being back in stock and he could take the ring home until then. My fiancé leaves the store and about 15 minutes later they call and let him know they actually do have it stock. So he turns around. He expresses his frustration and ask if there is anything the manager could do for us for all this trouble, like cover the $150 for the head change that didn’t happen in the first place. The rep tells him, “we’ll we are already putting it ahead of production to have it ready tomorrow, I’m not sure there is much more we could do for you other than that”…. Mind you this was their mistake, a mistake that could have been avoided if someone called… and they think putting it ahead is doing us a favor. It’s not. Normally I wouldn’t even write a review but the customer service was terrible. No one even apologized for their part in this. We now had to drive about hour both ways a twice. Gas isn’t cheap. The drive isn’t convenient and this could have been avoided. if I would have know what I know now I would have never given shane co my business… but I wanted a trusted company. So far what I am getting is not that. Two stars cause I do love the ring.

I had a pretty offputting experience trying to buy an engagement ring for my now-wife at Shane Company. I've shopped at jewelry stores dozens of times for watches and gifts but never an engagement ring before. I had 6 small diamonds I brought with me, from her grandmother, that I wanted to incorporate into the ring. The gentleman I worked with helped me find a primary stone, but said it would be too difficult to incorporate the 6 stones I brought with me. This was a major bummer. Since I did find a center stone I liked, I put down half of the cost to hold it, with the understanding that I would still be looking for a way to get my other stones incorporated, and the gentleman said I could come to get my deposit back at any time. A couple days afterwards I found out that I actually did have a friend of a friend in the diamond business!! Not only did they make a custom ring by adapting a style I found to fit my stones, the center stone was better in quality shape and size, all for around the same cost of the ring Shane co was offering me. Needless to say, I went to get my money back from Shane co. After informing the front counter of my intentions, they told me I had to wait for the same salesman I spoke with before. I thought it was strange because the salesman told me he was non-commissioned. Why would they need me to speak with a non commission sales person to get a refund on a down payment? he was busy with somebody else and they said to please wait for him. 20 minutes later I come back to the counter I said I really need to go please give me my money back and they said that we can't give you your money back you you have to wait for that salesman he'll be with you as soon as he can. Another 20 minutes passes. No assistance. Finally after 50 minutes the salesman comes over to me and I told him that I found somebody to make the ring that I wanted and I actually was getting a bigger center stone. He lashed out at me saying that it wasnt possible and the person selling me the ring was a liar. Completely unprofessional, unreasonable, unpleasant experience. I will never step foot in this place again. They have misleading sales practices and the marketing about having a friend in the diamond business is garbage. With friends like this you don't need enemies. Attached is the ring I ended up receiving:) Go to Ganem Jewlers. Ask for Nora. Don't think twice.

I'm very disappointed in Shane Co. I got engaged and bought my wedding band here. My girlfriend broke off the engagement and left me heartbroken and with two rings. Obviously, I would never re-use these rings in the future. This wedding band went from their store to my safe and never saw the light of day until I went to return it. It was still new and never put on her finger besides in the store originally. They refused to refund the ring due to their 60 day return policy. I had first called and spoke with a girl on the phone and explained my situation and she was very pleasant and told me to still bring it back and they would take care of me. I drove to the store (an hour of my time going there and back) only to have the salesman take the ring to the back as I waited for awhile contemplating how sad my situation was and remembering the last time I was here I was on cloud nine. The salesman returned and told me he was unable to return the perfectly new ring. This was just another kick in the gut. I can tell you that I bought the engagement ring from Costco and it was worn and they took it back with sympathy and apologized for what I must be going through. I had actually brought the ring I bought from Costco to match it up with the wedding band and I asked Shane Co if they could offer me a similar engagement ring for the same price. The couldn't compete with the quality for the price that I received at Costco. Learn a valuable lesson from me and though I would have never expected to have had to return an engagement ring I know where I will return in the future when I'm lucky enough to find the truly right girl. Update: I was contacted by Julie from Shane Co and they did make things right. I applaud their commitment to customer satisfaction. If it was right from the beginning I'd be giving them 5 stars. None the less, thank you.

We’ve been customers since we got engaged in 2007! We have enjoyed having our rings maintained, serviced, and upgraded for years at this location. Our only complaint is the recent decline (last few years) in the quality of the rhodium dipping and polishing done by the ring techs. The shop is now taking up to a week and half and there is always an issue when we pick up the rings. It has become normal to have them redo the work which usually can be done the same day but it becomes a hassle. I would prefer things to be done right the first time! Dings and scuff marks are something I have never experienced in all the years of servicing my rings at this location but that’s what I got today. I don’t appreciate sloppy and rushed work. We usually get things corrected if the manager cares and today sales manager Chad made things right for us. The first operations manager made excuses that my ring was old and dented but luckily Chad stepped in and took my ring back and addressed my concerns. Chad listened and made sure I left happy. Also, I don’t remember being offered champagne after we got engaged and were buying wedding bands or upgrading but that’s what a couple next to us got. I guess they’ll do anything for new business but old customers with two kids can wait for two hours to get their rings back and not offered anything. My 4 star rating is justified and if things improve in the future maybe it’ll become a 5 again.

Originally stopped into the store after looking online at settings and gems. Our friend got his ring from Shane Co and recommended them. We stopped in and worked with Andrew who was great. We were torn between two different styles and Andrew brought up the idea of customization. We talked about the options and left it to the jewelers to see what was possible. Over the next few days we settled on what was possible I was in and out finalizing the order. Each time everyone was always so friendly and helpful. I picked up the ring in June and proposed in October. It was everything we had wanted. We got the cleaning reminder at the beginning of November and we were going to be on that side of town. We stopped in and Dylanie took the ring for cleaning and ended up spending time with us looking over other items and helping to add them to our wishlist. I've been in customer service for two decades and she's definitely the best example of great customer service that I've come across. Every visit has been positive, we got the ring we wanted and that right there would be enough to recommend the location. Add the level of service on top and this'll definitely be our jewelry store of choice and highly recommended to anyone looking for jewelry.

We were excited to have a Shane Co open near home (chandler location) BUT it’s night and day when it comes to customer service. As we were trying to pick out a custom engraved bracelet, I felt rushed and not important. Very little input was given by the jewelry consultant. The engraving came out terrible and the bracelet chain ended up snapping. After this experience we will NEVER return to the chandler location again. We ended up returning the piece for store credit at the Scottsdale location. Per usual, the Scottsdale location makes us feel like royalty from the moment we enter the building. Regarding our more recent visit to Shane Co in Scottsdale: SAMANTHA really made the experience a pleasure. Not only was she knowledgeable and precise about the jewelry pieces and fitting, but she was so thoughtful, patient, and down-to-earth. Walking out, we couldn’t have been more confident in our purchases. Thank you Samantha! You’re Amazing! Chandler location needs people like her!

My wife and I have been happy customers of Shane co for over 10 years and have purchased multiple rings here. However after our last visit with Makayla we will not be returning. We came in for a pretty simple custom birth stone band, we wanted it to match another ring we had made at Shane co a couple years ago. We were told that they “are moving away from customization” and couldn’t fulfill our request. We still looked at a few bands but ultimately, after 2 hours, we were not happy with Makaylas answers/attitude towards us so we did not make a purchase. We went to Helzberg and were in and out in 30 minutes with the ring we wanted for less than half the price of a similar band at Shane Co. 2 stars for honoring their warranty after Makayla had to verify that my ring would be covered since I wear it over night and “bed sheets are like sandpaper”. So sad that their customer service has changed so drastically.

I got my engagement ring ant the Scottsdale location and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. My sister and mom both go their rings from Shane Co and have nothing but the best things to say about Shane Co. but I wanted to try a few other stores just to make sure. I went to Brilliant earth, they only let you try fake rings on and not truly pick your diamond except for online, Jareds is awful, but Shane Co, was no pressure, they let you browse and take all the time with you showing all your options. I looked at about 12 diamonds. There was 2 that I loved and I went with one and I really wanted the other. Two days went by and I decided I needed/wanted the other diamond and they were so helpful to let me trade out and hold the diamond for me that day. I worked with trinity and another lady with the cutest heart shaped glasses. Thank you Shane Co. I’m glad to be a part of the Shane Co family.

It's been a pleasure working with Shane Co on a number of jewelry purchases over the last couple of years. My husband first went to Shane Co to purchase my engagement ring, and they were very attentive and patient in explaining all the ins and outs of picking the right ring. A few months later, we put in a customer order for our wedding bands. They helped us out in designing them to our specifications and they came out beautifully! Since then, we've made a few small purchases for earrings, and also come in every month or so to have our jewelry cleaned, which is a free service. They always check our rings over to ensure they're structurally sound, and log every visit that we make. Even when they are very busy, they are quick to ask if we're being helped and ensure they have someone with us as quickly as possible. This will certainly be the place I come to for any and all future jewelry purchases.

We came in for an engagement ring knowing little to nothing about diamonds, rings, wedding bands, etc and were first warmly greeted by a man up front. Everything was beautifully showcased and displayed and there were tons and TONS of choices to choose from. We then had Kylie who was patient and very friendly and sweet towards me. She explained everything I needed to know about rings, design, carat, etc. I was so happy working with her and having her help me choose my ring! She knew exactly my taste and the ones I was looking for! The other lady explained the diamonds (I'm sorry I forgot her name) and how each one was unique towards each other was very kind and friendly towards our decisions as well. Ive grown up hearing Tom Shane on the radio and finally visited his establishment lol and let me tell you will not be disappointed by all they do here! Thank you Shane Co.!!!!

This experience was absolutely terrible. From minute one we felt like pure trash or after thoughts to the staff. Manager that greeted us was rude and asked us to change our masks for ones that were less safe. After waiting 25 minutes for a salesperson, we were escorted to a ring case with choices that were not even close to what I wanted. Our salesperson disappeared for 10 minutes and then said his appointment arrived and handed us off again. My wife and I felt unappreciated and as if our business was not wanted. Not sure how this place stays open when they treat good people like this. We ended up taking our business and our $10K somewhere else...ended up getting more than one ring and are very happy with our purchases. Just remember...never judge a book by its cover, like Shane Co. judged us. Big mistake. Sad.

THANK YOU SO MUCH Christa for working with me and Christian to figure everything out! Shane Co. has taken great care of us! Christa is my favorite! Very personable and I really felt like she cared about me. She went the extra mile in everything . A small diamond had fallen out of my ring after a week and she got me an entirely new ring, free engraving on both our rings, paid for my tea when I had to wait an extended period of time, and a new stone that was more of what I wanted! When something happens that wasn’t planned and the company still treats you like gold, they show true interest in their customer. Yeah, a small diamond fell out and that shouldn’t happen, but that’s inevitable. I’m grateful for their amazing services and for those that work behind the scenes! You are all amazing!

The service that we receive is always so spectacular. I can honestly say Shane Company is one of my favorite places to visit. Shane Co Scottsdale has incredible customer service! We purchased my husbands wedding band about 2.5 years ago. He didn't wear it much though because it easily rusted due to the band's material. Shane Co Scottsdale exchanged the ring for us, no questions asked! The original ring price was $1,100 and the new one was roughly $500. Three days later, Aaron gave us a call and said that "it didn't sit right with him" that we lost out on about $600 for the new ring. He said to go online and pick out whatever we wanted up to the $600 point and he would place an order for us. The process was seamless and a wonderful surprise that we were not expecting! Thank you Aaron and Shane Co Scottsdale for the incredible customer service. We are definitely customers for life!

Walked in to have my center stone adjusted, it was a little off center and I'm OCD. A normal person probably wouldn't even notice but I'm annoying like that and its been bothering me from the start. The woman on staff we talked to took it back to talk to the jeweler and said they could adjust it and she just had to check on something. She walked back with the ring in hand, said they were able to do it tonight and if I liked it. They adjusted it right there on the spot. I expected to have to drop it off and they would call me in two weeks like most jewelers. Nope, took them about ten minutes. They cleaned it for me too. Super easy and totally unexpected. Nothing but fantastic service so far.

Always pleasant coming here. If you haven't heard from radio commercials they are not commission based so it makes shopping for jewelry so much easier. They have tons of options for everything and especially nice because they don't have what everyone else does so it's much more unique. Their prices are also very affordable. You can tell them your price range and they will help find everything they can. I used to buy my jewelry at mall shops and the big names but I haven't gone back since buying my engagement and wedding rings. They offer a lifetime warranty and several benefits just for buying. If I'm looking for a ring this is the first place I check. Thanks for being great!

My husband and I just celebrated our 10 yrs Anniversary and thought we would upgrade my center stone. My husband has purchased all of my jewelry from Shane Co in Scottsdale and I can honestly say, I have never been disappointed. All of their jewelry is amazing and the pricing is wonderful. The ads you hear are all true, there has never been any pressure to purchase outside of our budget. They gave us the full purchase price for my original center stone and applied that amount to the new diamond. We had my wedding ring back in less than a week cleaned, resized and the new stone set. I recently took my girlfriend ring shopping and our experience at Shane Co. was unlike any other. We stopped at 3-4 other places in the area and no other jeweler had a more welcoming, personalized, and educational atmosphere. Cherice and Kylie took their time with us and soothed every worry and unawareness we had when it comes to picking out the perfect ring. I encourage you to visit multiple jewelers as long as Shane Co. is first. Set high expectations and they will surpass them. You truly will not find an experience as personal from any other store. We built a beautiful custom ring at Shane co! I proposed and about a year later we got married. They very next day we were up in Prescott for the 4th of July and my wife notice the center stone was missing! We panicked a little. I reminded her we should be covered. We called Shane co they told us we should be covered. We came right in and had it inspected. They of course took care of the diamond and we got a slightly larger one than the one before. The ring was cleaned and resized all for free! We came to Shane co for the warranty and they definitely stand behind it. Grateful for Shane co.'s outstanding customer service! Thank you!

I initially wanted to only shop at Shane Co., but I looked at a couple other options first so I can compare price and warranty info. I went to Shane Co last and never looked back. Their price and selection were the best I could find. The warranty is top notch, too. The only catch is that you have to bring it in every 6 months for maintenance, but at least that is free. The employees were great. They took their time and explained everything to me and answered every question. I gave the employees a budget and requirements for the ring and we came in under budget. My fiance and I are extremely pleased with the ring and service.

Great experience! I brought my engagement/wedding ring set to Shane Co for the usual clean and check when our jewelry consultant, Rebecca, told me the center stone in my engagement ring was cracked and needed to be replaced. Obviously, it's a very sentimental piece of jewelry, so this news was petty sad to hear. Rebecca walked my husband and I through a few options for replacement diamonds. She was extremely patient, knowledgeable and kind. We decided on a beautiful diamond and walked away very happy with the decision we made, thanks to Rebecca. My husband surprised with an appointment at Shane Co to upgrade my wedding set at which we met Amy Bennin-Layton who assisted us. The variety of rings there was very overwhelming to me, however I showed Amy my current set and she recognized the style I like. Amazing experience at Shane’s today! Travis and Dylanie are some of the kindest and most authentic people I have ever met in retail. Dylanie went above and beyond in her customer service. She had a genuine smile the whole time she helped us. It’s clear she takes great pride and enjoyment in working at Shane’s and in helping others. My fiancé and I came in to look for our wedding bands, and we had the most amazing experience, and were shocked with the wide range of selections. Delany was incredible, she showed us so many different selections, made sure we were comfortable within our budget, and it felt like we were shopping with a best friend. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are not pushy and don't try to oversell. They listen to you and help you find exactly what you are looking for. My wife's wedding ring needed to be repaired as the center diamond and setting broke off and while other jewelry stores refused to repair it unless we bought a new diamond, Shane Co offered to repair it. They were so helpful we ended up buying a new diamond anyway. I would highly recommend checking out Shane Co before making a purchase elsewhere

Amazing experience from start to finish. The consultants here were so helpful. I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for at first, but after visiting with Sonia, Dylanie, Marisa and Cherice (on 3 different drop in visits), I walked out with the perfect item. I started going to Shane Co. In Colorado about 25 years ago. What I always liked best was their vast selection with an expansive price range. I don't always have thousands of dollars for gifts so thankfully The Shane Company has nice things at prices I can afford. The most high quality, family run, high end jeweler my husband and I would trust with our most precious jewelry. My husband purchased my engagement ring 10.5 years ago in person in Arizona. Since then we have moved to NJ to Virginia Beach to Florida. We send away our rings for maintenance every 6 months FREE OF CHARGE and they even engraved our rings complimentary. I will ALWAYS shop with Shane Company for our important keepsakes. They are TOP NOTCH!!!!
