Smart move, if you want to visit inside the new Delhi Railway station than its difficult to buy a platform ticket due to heavy rush over the every ticket counter at New Delhi railway station. So, do 5 mins journey between Shivaji bridge and New Delhi Railway station while buying journey ticket costing Rs 10/- , same price of platform ticket. When you are already having a ticket then there will be no issue when exiting from new Delhi railway station. Apart from this if we talk about Shivaji bridge railway station , it is not at all clean, very dirty. Seems to be there is no cleanliness done for years. Why railway board never look into clean drive when prime minister is running SWATCH BHARAT SBHIYASN. VERY SAD! Best! Nannd

Nearest railway station to Connaught Place. Local trains stop here. Station lies between Nizamuddin railway station & New Delhi station. You can find tickets easily for Ghaziabad - Mathura - New Delhi route! Lifts or escalators are not there as of I am writing this review. It's a crowded place in morning & evening hours due to daily commuters rush!

People planning to travel by metro from New Delhi railway station can get off here and took metro from the barakhamba road station for better convince (as most of the trains from northern and central India wait at this station before new Delhi station)

Just okay. Small railway station with limited amenities but it's almost adjacent to New Delhi station. So, there is plenty scope of improvement and increase in passenger facilities.

Low on civic amenities and the condition of the station is poor. Connectivity with other stations is good and you can find the trains to almost all the major stations.
