The workmanship seems good, we'll see how it stands the test of time. Only gave 3 stars because of the following. When we first went there no one was in the shop and there was no sign to indicate when they'd be back. Tried contacting them after dropping off the shoes for repair and was met with no viable means of engaging them. Tried to call several times over a number of days, got voice mail. Tried to email, no response, and tried their online 'chat service' and all I got was crickets chirping. A bit of service away from the counter would be good.

The Shoe guy fixed my ten-year-old over the knee boots to the point where they looked brand new again. The shoes had sun damage where the sun had bleached the leather, I mentioned that when I booked them in for the full sole repair, and Michael really took that to heart. The shoes were dyed back to magnificent lustre and the soles will now last for at least another ten years or longer.

My partner’s leather boot had a scratch on it. The Shoe Guy tried repairing it, and due to the nature of the damage and material there wasn’t much he could do. The boot looked a lot better upon retrieval, and was free of charge. Appreciated the effort and service, and I would recommend going here for your shoe repairs.

Took my wife’s watch in as I changed the battery on her watch but couldn’t get the backing plate of the watch back on. The lovely gentleman fitted it for me in 1 minute and then didn’t even charge me!? True gentleman he was, great service which is hard to find these days, thanks again

Not sure how their other services are, but if you're wanting to have a watch resized probably don't go here ! Guy had no patience or care to remove the right numver of links in the right places. Giving an extra star because he replaced the battery alright

Very friendly man in this shop. Changed my watch battery in less than 10 minutes and very reasonably priced. A friend of mine had keys cut earlier in the week and had a similarly pleasant experience. Support locals.

Got a couple of keys cut there. Very quick service!! Was done within 60 seconds. And at a reasonable price, would recommend.
