I was taking here on a date. It was so thoughtful and cute. It was my birthday a few weeks ago. The person paid for photos and a box of chocolate for me because they asked me what kind of sweets I like. He is so cute and thoughtful it's crazy. It's the litle things. The photos said Happy birthday in the backdrop. Wasn't expecting that. The wheel goes around at least 3 times. There is a lot of hotels in the area and tall buildings. It's giving me 34th street vibes in NYC. I like that the wheel lights up at night. If you have vertigo or extremely claustrophobic, I suggest you reconsider or go when you feel comfortable. I am claustrophobic and it wasn't bad for me. It has air in there so you can adjust it to your liking because it can get real hot real quick. They have an emergency call button if you need assistance. You can see how your pictures turn out of you take them 2-4 hours after the ride. Overall a nice thing to say you did. I do wish it was in a area with better visuals to see while up in the air. But if you go with ppl you like... you can make it a whole vibe on its on.

When you are in the lucky position to be in town in a time where few tourists are visiting, just drop by, you will not have to queue. My personal suggestion is hit the blue hour. So just before sunset. Take before a walk through centennial park, enjoy the ride and afterwards discover what has gotten your interest while you were high above. Personally, I choose to take this ride after a day with many impressions and special encounters and conversations with locals (mostly moved here) and this opportunity to literally see everything from above was very helpful. I would not necessarily suggestion one of these special VIP packages, only if their cabins have better cleaned windows. That’s the only minus by 15$ for three or four rounds? But other than that: you have air conditioning and lights that indicate an emergency system. Now there I was missing a manual or just one button. But five in that cabinet where some are in panic? I liked it a lot, great job, very friendly staff.

I purchased some tickets off group on. The line was long and we waited approximately 25-30 minutes before we were able to board the ferris wheel. Once we made it to the actual ticket line the process was quick and easy. We went on a weekend night and I suggest you wear comfortable shoes because I’m sure there will be a wait. Also the restroom is located behind the building in porter potties. The restroom was clean and you need a code to enter the restroom. There was an employee standing near and was able to help me pretty easily. The views were beautiful at night. The ride was cute it didn’t last long however it was something cute and fun for a couple to do. They had photographers there to take pictures as a Souvenir to remember the moment. We purchased the pictures I believe a package for $30 if I’m not mistaken. I thought the value was pretty good overall. I would not do it again I feel that the one time experience was enough for me.

If you are in Atlanta Georgia, don't miss the opportunity to take a trip in the giant wheel, called SkyView Atlanta. In the middle of downtown, a beautiful park called Centennial Olympic Park. Very clean and fine grass is there. You can walk barefoot or lay on the grass and feel the nature. If weather is fine as you like, think about the wheel. One side of the park you will see the wheel. Just walk there, ticket cost about $ 17 + tax. Credit card only. One cabin called VIP. ( it has a floor of transparent glass ) but cost more. So take a ride, it goes so high that you can have view like a bird. You have a good idea of the city center. In ticket included 3 rounds. After three rounds you feel OK. They make some Fotos. You can buy after if you like. Just have fun and enjoy.

Great location close to centennial park and our hotel. Felt a little uneasy with some of the people hanging around the area at one intersection at night. I would choose the corner where the horse drawn carriage riders were to cross the street. Sky view had a great concept of showing music videos on monitors while standing in line except you could not hear the music. Photographer will take your photo which is a great keepsake if you want that type of a photo. Photographer was the most friendly. Private gondola had ice cold air conditioning with adjustable vents. Great view at night but kind of pricey for only three times around. I’m sure it’s expensive to run the Ferris while provide the many workers they have and provide a clean cool gondola. Workers were courteous.

We went on a Saturday night which was extremely busy. The views were fantastic but I will say the speed was a bit jarring. I don’t get motion sickness often and I was ready to blow in this Ferris wheel. I kind of wish it was slower or the cabins didn’t sway so much. We used a date night Groupon so we got 2 mini boxes of 8pc Russell stover chocolates & two tickets for $30 which was awesome. The views at night were amazing. The line moved quickly for the most part, I’d say we spent 10ish minutes in line. Ride was about 10 minutes give or take. I’ll probably go again if I’m ever in Atlanta.

Well luckily for me the line wasn't long. There was no wait because it was raining. During my trip, it appeared rain would be in the forecast the whole time which isn't anyone's fault. But upon entering the wheel I quickly noticed that the inside was soaked from the rain. The water came in from the ceilings in every possible nook. I tried moving but I would still be getting a decent amount of water on me. The heat was so cold so in combination with being wet I was also super cold. Couldn't see much but that's no one's fault either just sadly surprised by how wet the entire experience was. Would love to ho back on a not so rainy day

  • Michelle Bravo

We really enjoyed this. Not as tall as some in other big cities (Vegas, Chicago) but still enjoyable. It felt very safe, the staff was friendly and clear with instructions (except the security guy in front… he just wands you and then says go to the stairs). Buying tickets is confusing if you haven’t been… the guy was right, you just “go to the stairs” but the ticket booth is in the line to go onto the ride. The drinks are at the beginning which is what felt backwards. Jazz at the bar was full of knowledge of the area. It’s about a 15 minute ride I would say. Several rotations, very cool at night!

I went here on monday (memorial day), it was not crowed at all. At 1st, they told me thelat their were closed "temporarily." I waited and walked around the park. Came bacl and was able to ride the wheel. What an amazing experience. Coming from Pennsylvania and being here for the 1st time was a bucket lost check moment. The wheel goes around approximately 5 times. You can see everything!! The Olympic park, the Coca-Cola, etc! Thanks, everyone, IG:LADiva0712

Really neat experience, definitely recommend coming at least once. You get a great view of Centennial Park, and you only share a carriage with your party--no sharing a small glass box with strangers! Carriages have AC/heat. The seats absolutely need to be redone--we came on a rainy day and they were soaked and musty smelling. Skyview, please get hard plastic or vinyl instead. The restrooms are hard to find and locked--get the code from the staff if you buy your ticket online.

I gave this site two stars because the customer service was terrible. Walking up, I thought it was closed because it was so quiet and deserted. I quickly found out why. Each area of personnel’s tone was provoking and they appeared to be dissatisfied with their jobs. I will not be referring my friends and family here. Such a waste. The Ferris wheel was a great experience, but first you got to make it through the employees. P.S.The camera guy was pleasant.

I had a great time on the ride. It went around 3 times. I love viewing the buildings from great heights. I wish they would install a light above where they have the fan like on the airplane so I can take better selfies, photos and videos for social media. Also, I would like to see and optional narrator giving historical or interesting facts about the buildings, architects or notable atlanta figures, etc. I also love the sky bar. Those photos are whack though. And the fancy car needs an upgrade. It’s not fancy enough for me.

Such a wonderful time of year to spread Atlanta holiday cheer!!!! the absolute most stunning views in all of the city and these pics speak for themselves just like the staff and management of SkyView Atlanta!! AMAZING all around!! 10 stars and I literally couldn't take my eyes off it when first arriving!! Skyview is like the Magic Kingdom of Atlanta!!

This is an awesome idea! You can purchase a drink or 2 to take with ya on the Ferris wheel that were delicious. The Ferris wheel itself is nice and it was pretty tall! You ride in completely enclosed cabs with HVAC. Definitely worth the visit, you see so much of downtown Atlanta and Olympic park from here. Will be back when I visit Atlanta again!

I was excited because since childhood, I have admired the London eye. This was my first experience. The carts are temperature regulated, so no worries about the weather. I took a night ride, though I doubt the 15 minutes on the ride were respected( I remember only 3 revolutions) I didn't understand why only 3 carts were loaded at a time, which made the wait in the line longer.

It was a nice experience, but not as exhilarating as me and my family thought it should have been. I believe the revolution speed is very high. As you reach the highest point and wish to enjoy the view from the top, you are already half the way down and lose the sight. In my opinion, instead of four revolutions, one or two revolutions with slower speed may give a better experience.

This was amazing. I actually found this on Groupon for about $12 cheaper than what it usally is. When we got to the ticket booth we only had to pay $2 on taxes. My husband & I got a beer & got on. The cars are air conditioned & you get about 3 rotations. You also tale pictures before getting on. Definitely was cute. Try the Groupon if you can.

We did a staycation in Atlanta and ventured to the ferris wheel. I used a Groupon, so it was easy to get our ticket scanned and get on board. The view from our pod was pretty. You could see a lot of the Atlanta skyline. You're supposed to get three times around, but since it wasn't crowded, the operator let us go around five times. It was a fun experience.

I got here at 9 o'clock because I checked their time and it was closing at 10 o'clock, but when I arrived the staff was very rude and said it was closed, but light was still flashing, I didn't believe it was really closed, maybe it was He didn't want us to ride the ferris wheel because there were not many people. I think I wasted 30 minutes driving here. This was the worst experience I had in three days in Atlanta.

Nice experience. You get 3-4 rounds on the wheel. However, the nearby buildings obstructs the view. The glass windows of the car had smudges or moisture on them, thereby making it difficult to enjoy the view or click birds eye photos. The staff is super nice. Polite and make you feel welcomed with a HUGE smile.

Awesome Ferris wheel. I'm not the ride type, but my family and I enjoyed sitting down below while the kids rode. Seems this ride lasts forever lol but for $17 that's great! Very busy area so it's a great location to people watch and see the funky little cars come down the strip! Definitely had a great time.

It's something to do. We had time to kill and wanted to get out of the rain. Very close to the park and other attractions. I remember food being nearby ( i don't remember what). It was a good view of the city with a decent price point. The ride is relatively short... a good way to see some of the area.

Highly recommend to purchase tickets in advance fron groupon or other websites. You can save dollars instead of buying tickets in person. Paid $47 for 4 adults which is a banger!!! This was great fun for 15 bucks. I'm an Atlanta native and being able to see the night skyline without paying for a skyrise hotel is a wonderful treat. I definitely recommend this to anyone who has the stomach for it. It is in the middle of many attractions including the aquarium and centennial park and it is right next to the tabernacle so definitely a fun drop in before going to an awesome venue for live music.

  • Kateryna Yevstihnieieva

Tickets were bought online. We just showed them to staff at the entrance. Nice staff with beautiful smiles. The line moved relatively quickly. We rode the Ferris wheel at night for the first time, got a new experience. Google maps showed that SkyView Atlanta open until 10pm. We left the booth at 9:54pm, and SkyView Atlanta continued to work so as not to offend the people standing in line. It earned respect!

  • Adrl Mrtz

The view was pretty and you get about 4 full rotations before it stops. There is a cute spot for photos right outside with a miniature Ferris wheel. The cabins have air conditioning and are completely enclosed. There are benches inside for seating up to 3 people per row. The vip cabins have larger seats with more cushioning and more privacy (tinted windows). There is parking right next to the wheel for $20.

  • Kan Alcf

SkyView Atlanta ferris wheel was an Amazing experience for us! We enjoyed the view, it's high enough to see the beauty of the City. It's located in the Downtown Atlanta the heart of the city and surrounded by all the fabulous Buildings and the Beautiful Centennial Park. The view is spectacular, the cabins had air condition also clean inside, safe and comfortable. we enjoyed our time definitely recommended!

  • Shannon Lawes

The staff really made this an unforgettable experience. They were all very friendly and always smiling. They even helped my husband find a restroom to use. Everyone was helpful and extremely friendly. They made this a positive experience. And the view from the top was very nice, too.

The ride was safe and comfortable. But there is only one good view. You can see the entire Olympic Park, but that's it. On the other side of the wheel are just buildings. $17 for adult ticket August 2023. You can buy a family photo at the end of the ride for about $50.

Beautiful Experience. Line was much longer than expected, however, for the price and the view, it was worth it. Just an FYI: I purchased my tickets on Groupon (the 4 pack) and when I got there, they charged an additional $3.50 for their part of the fee. The wheel went a full 4/5 rotations at a super slow and easy pace which was great for picture ops. Definitely worth your time to make a visit!!

  • Sydney Mark

We bought tickets online and came at the perfect time when there was no wait. We did have to wait a bit for the group on the Ferris wheel to come down. The first time around is nice though, because it goes slowly so you can take pictures. There is ac in the boxes, and comfortable seating that can fit quite a lot of people. We went in daytime, although I think I’d have enjoyed it more at night.

  • Brindha Betharasu

The ride was good. Choose to go on the ride in the night, there’s nothing much to see in the daytime. One bad experience we had was that the person who clicks and gives photos at the deck charged us double for the digital photos. I realized it very late. Beware when you swipe your card.

The ride was nice and you definitely can see the city. They stop you at the top for a few minutes so you have time to take pictures. The cabin had an unpleasant smell to it which is why I gave the 4 stars. The military discount ONLY applies to the service member. It is not extended to family so if you have a large family keep that in mind as it can get pricey.

My first time going and since I am scared of heights so I dragged my family out with me . We had a great time the ride is so smooth you don't feel a thing to be so high up with an amazing view. The staff was friendly and informative. I wish it was a more broader view of downtown Atlanta but still beautiful. I will be going again for date night

I have been wanting to go on this for awhile. It was fun. I wish for an open air Ferris wheel but this is enclosed and a little smelly, though air conditioned. It was fun though. Nothing overly exciting. And in a weird location in my opinion, but Atlanta is like that. The wait wasn't terrible and they have a Groupon to save a little money.

This was a great experience! My mom was scared at first but after getting on it was a great experience ! We all really enjoyed it and it was very fun and the views were just stunning ❤️ Definitely recommend it ! Don’t be scared it goes fairly slow you can barely feel it ! Ps. Amazing outdoor activity to include on you itinerary when visiting Atlanta, GA. The location of the ferris wheel is perfect to see the heart of ATL! Enjoy the city vibe view form here, the Downtown & Centennial Park! By the way, visit the place at December for you to feel cool breeze, like what we experienced! Missin' Atlanta

  • Jude Foret

Definitely something to do if visiting Atlanta.  The SkyView Atlanta ferris wheel was a fun experience for us.  We went at night so our photos didn't turn out as nice as we had hoped, but the views were spectacular.  The price was reasonable and the line flowed smoothly.  If we had more time, we would have gone again the next day.

  • anderacpharmd

A bit pricey, but a really nice experience for a young family. The wheel goes high high high, excellent view of the entire city. Best time to go? Early week mid-afternoon before Christmas vacation (no lines). If visiting during the winter, dress warmly as you may spend some time standing in line and the cars are not (well) heated.

It's okay. We had a good ride but we paid $15 each for only five minutes or so on the wheel. We did like that each cabin had it's only tempeture controls. Also the people in our cabin before us were not wearing masks so it made us uncomfortable that the cabin wasn't sanitized or "aired out" before we went in.

Atlanta has a very pretty skyline. You can get most of the view from there so it's nice for an evening. Expect a line. I see people complaining about that, but I don't get it. Do people expect to just walk right up? It's not bad overall to spend an evening, it's nothing special, but overall very nice nice

Absolute Waste of Electricity. A glass of beer would probably spin you faster than this chunk of metal. And yes I know that is not the purpose of it, even if we were to talk about the view, you'll only see a disappointing view of Atlanta.

Fun ferris wheel in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Amazing views of the city and reasonably priced. We actually had a fun Groupon for 2 that gave us a box of chocolates! Right next to centennial park which was beautiful to see and there's great food all around the area. Touristy but not terrible.

Enjoyed our ride New Year’s Eve. Felt like you got a decent amount of time for your turn. It was a little pricey bit a fund experience nonetheless. Walt wasn’t very long for a holiday. We were able to have our own car as I would not want to ride with others. Can fit a small group in cars. More

A bit pricey, it looks huge but is actually smaller. The gondolas are climate controlled, which helps when you visit in the winter like I did. Was here a little late in the evening so it wasn’t as lively but it wasn’t deserted either. Sunset hour should be best for a ride on this Ferris wheel.

  • Damesha Boney

My fiance and I had an amazing time!! It was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed the V.I.P. lounge before our ride in the V.I.P gondola with glass floors and Ferrari seats! Air conditioned and super comfortable! We also got engaged that night! Right outside the ferris wheel! …

We came here not knowing this was a giant ferris wheel, but once we got in it was so fun. The pods that you ride in are quite roomy, they are enclosed and have huge windows and the view is fantastic! The ride also takes you around several times so you have a long time to enjoy yourself!

I really enjoyed riding on the SkyView Ferris Wheel in Atlanta, Georgia. All 5 of my guests enjoyed themselves as well. It is a beautiful sight to see, especially at night. Thank you, SkyView! I definitely will be coming back for another ride, soon. Happy Birthday to Me! …

Celebrating my granddaughter turning 11 with family. She absolutely loved it. Actually everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. They didn't want it to end. It's very affordable, the views are wonderful both day and night. The gondolas are air conditioned, they seat 6. The ride is really smooth.

Quite a unique way to see Atlanta - we went up at night and really enjoyed it. Great views of the hotel district and Centennial Park. Cost is around $16 pp and includes four times around. Our children really enjoyed it but did get a little scared when we stopped at the top for a bit…

The scenery from Skyview is lovely! I visited in mid-May, and I think it was perfect timing: it felt like summer, but it was before tourist season gets into full swing so the line was short. As a bonus, I managed to get on the ride just in time to catch the sunset.

An awesome experience. The skyline is located right next to the Centinal park. The cabs are air-conditioned with a capacity for max 4 pacs. The ticket costs around USD 16 per person. The ride is for 7 to 10 minutes depending on the rush.

  • Cory Walaitis

Very cool. Air conditioning works nice. A great way to see the skyline and relax after a long day of walking.

It's definitely fun, but definitely too short. For the price, it should be at least 4-5 times around.

This was a cute and fun experience to do while in Atlanta. It was really nice to see the city up high. It was fun, comfortable, and safe. Obviously a little expensive but something to definitely try at least once

Cool experience, great views. Located near Pemberton Park and Coca Cola World. The air conditioned gondolas are comfortable and help keep you cool. The ride lasts about 10 minutes and goes around 3 times.

  • Michael

Definitely a 5-star experience, each and every staff member ensures patrons comfort and the space is kept very clean.

It's fun, my son and I went on it because he was dying to see it and we enjoyed it. It was a long enough ride, very expensive for what it is... But it's a tourist attraction so, it's worth doing it once

Ferris wheel ride that goes around 4 times and it takes about 7-12 minutes. Beautiful view from the top! We were able to purchase the ticket when we got there and we only had to wait for a few minutes.

We did the VIP Skyview Ride. The attendant was very friendly & and took us back to the VIP lounge to wait on our gondola. They kept checking on us & it was a beautiful experience.

  • Rebecca Kimray

We showed up a bit later than scheduled due to traffic and rain but the staff was very helpful and able to get us on. The view was so nice, can't wait to go again in the daytime.
