"The attitude of Joni the manager is confrontational and, hateful! She makes communicating virtually impossible! She changes anything you say into something bad that seems to give her an excuse to be mean and disagreeable! In my experience with her, she had me checking every month for an availability space and reprimanded me for doing so! In the last confrontation, she screamed at me for trying to turn in an application! She’s very disrespectful and I’m almost sure is Manic Depressive off her medication! There are four spaces vacant but, she claims they aren’t available?? I think the owner of the park cannot be aware of Joni’s behavior as she isn’t doing her job managing the property"

"I've been at Sleepy Hollow about 2 months now and I must say it's a very nice and quiet park"

"The last time my husband and I lived there was in 2011, we left and never looked back! Joni the manager was very rude accusing my husband of wrecking her out of dated light posts, the electric posts for electricity needs to be updated! As I see Joni, she is definitely on meth! Always wanted money from my husband when she needed to refill her meth! I don’t understand why she still there! And as my friends pass by, they see the park with yellow tapes by the sheriffs/cops/ DEA’s, I see the reviews and I see people saying it’s a nice place, nice management, I personally think these people are on drugs with Joni or brown nosing her"

Stopped by this trailer park to enquire about renting a space for my RV. Had to ask around then search for the managers office! Once I located the mngr. Space, I knocked on the door, waited approx. 1 min. Until some rude & judgemental woman who was reluctant to even open the door to talk! Finally, after she opened the door just enough to put her head out to talk. I kindly introduced myself then stated why I was there & requested for info on what I needed to do to rent one of the dozen or so empty spaces I counted on my way in. The mngr. Gave me her cell phone # told me to text the # & she will send me a short questionare then depending on my answers she will consider if I can rent a space! So, I answer the 5 questions she included in her text sent it back to her & wouldn't you know it? That sorry piece of you know what tells me that my RV exceeded the 20yr. Old limit permitted to park in the place! When I drove into the place I was counting all the 12 free spaces available & while doing so made a mental note about the many very old single wide mobile homes that looked older than the dirt that carpeted the old rundown trailer park! Plus, there were three Motorhomes renting spaces there that exceeded farther past the 20 year limit than my 25 foot 1986 Ford Tioga! Shoot, one of them looked like it could have been the very first motorhome ever built! It's not like this park was one of them real nice 4 or 5 star trailer parks that has a big ol swimming pool, banquet hall, car washing area and clean spaces throughout! This trailer park been in that spot since before I was born! I remember seeing that place as I grew up! I went to school right down the street, grew up half my life not too far from it too! am 50 now, so that gives you a perspective on how old it is. It does have a couple positives though! There's a 7 eleven, KFC, gas station all on the corner less than half a block. Right across the street is a BK, liquor store again/Mexican grocery store, tire shop, several little food places as well as a couple cellular dealers & discount stores! Minutes from capitol expwy. Capitol drive in, yadah yada yada! The park is old rundown & not sure about price cuz she never gave me one! But, I can take a wild guess & say the price is way over it's worth!

In town for work from Texas...Stayed for a little over 2 months at Sleepy Hollow and it was great. Every neighbor I had was friendly and polite. Partially shaded spot. The park is quiet as far as the neighbors. It's on the corner of Monterey Hwy and Senter Rd, so there is some unavoidable road noise, depending which spot you get. This is not a new RV resort, not a ton of amenities, but full hookups, laundry room on-site and a great location. Not many RV parks in the area, that I could find. This park used to be a mobile home park, but it's now mostly RV's. Joni is great. I read the reviews before calling and I didn't have any of the bad experiences mentioned in some reviews. Joni was flexible and communicative any time I needed to pay rent, had a rules question, needed to extend my stay. I would and will stay here again if back in the area with my trailer. Thanks

She is taking advantage of her position and creating a very bad image for the park! This was a terrible experience!

I've been at Sleepy Hollow about 2 months now and I must say it's a very nice and quiet park. The bathrooms and showers are kept clean. The manager Joni stays on top of repairs and communicates what's going on. The location is by good places to eat, markets and asian stores. Target and Walmart are close by too. I was a little apprehensive because of the previous comments about the manager but I haven't experienced that and if anything she is very accommodating. She does emphasize the rules and maybe people misunderstand that and I appreciate that. I've been at places where the manager is too nice and the tennants take advantage of that. I've stayed at Parkway Lakes RV Park and I prefer Sleepy Hollow

Wow. I should have looked at these reviews before arriving. The manager, Joni, has some serious issues. Upon arrival, my neighbors helped me park, and they asked if I had met Joni yet. I got a fair warning from them, and despite treating her like absolute gold, she verbally assaulted me on just about every occasion that we spoke. I really can't describe the way she speaks to people, she treated me worse than an animal. It was so constant that I just picked up and left. I would suspect she has some serious alcohol and/or drug issues. 2 years traveling full-time in our RV, and I've never seen anything quite like Joni.

The manger appeared to be intoxicated and possibly on something else when she drove us around the park to show us spaces. She was over familiar us, called other park renters "crack heads" and attempted to convince us to move into a spot without an application. She was overly dramatic in most interactions, causing me and my partner concerns over how she might interact with us should we move into that park. Overall it was a very well kept park, one of the best we looked at. However we are so concerned about the way the parks manager acted we will not be turning in application.

I feel very fortunate; my space in this park is very peaceful and my neighbors are lovely people. I love that this park is animal friendly! I have lived here for several years; management (Joni) has been so sweet and helpful with me - she helps me out when I’m not sure how to fix things around my RV. She tries her best and she looks out for the park, keeping it safe. I feel lucky to live here!

I found a video on the Internet dated 2015 and got concerned about these nice people. Today I rewatched it and felt like writing something nice to them. I really liked the words they spoke about their idea of home. I would like to wish them good changes for the better in the near future. I'm not a native speaker of English, forgive me if I make a mistake, Happy Easter!

My husband was living there for a few months. I went to go visited him. This is lowest placed I ever visited. Every time my husband was harassed by a Karen i think it’s was the manager just because he was a different skin color be aware and careful they start harassing you because your outside breathing the same air.

What can I say about Joni!? Confrontational one minute, sobbing the next. Too many personal issues to list. Park itself was nice. Lots of shade. Needs upkeep for sure. Electrical box at our site had been stolen. We did move to a different site and things worked all right.

An RV park In the armpit area of San Jose, where you’re most likely going to get mugged if you go out after dark, but the won’t rent to you if your RV is more than 10 years old because they think you might shed a disparaging light on their high class park. …

Bang for your buck! I stayed for two weeks and was really happy with the management and the people living around me! Very friendly and clean.... especially the bathrooms! I will most definitely stay there again!

  • Nate G

The manager Joni is very unprofessional. She mistreats everyone, especially seniors. She takes advantage of senior citizens. She turns tenants electricity off without notice. Avoid this park at all costs.

  • Shannon Mcwilliams

Haven't actually been there but just reading everything about it I don't think I'll even attempt to try it it sounds like I'm not very friendly welcoming place at all. Too bad because I like the trees.

  • Matthew Moss

I have a friend who has his travel trailer parked here while he works in the South Bay...I wasn't very impressed. Crappy neighborhood and the park itself looked very unkempt.

  • Bill Melcher

If you're wondering why this spacious park in a good location is not full, with a waiting list ...... It's because Joni the manager is high on meth about 70% of the time.

  • Nguyen Hong

It was a good stay. My wife and I were happy. The manager Joni was nice and helpful. Would come back in the future.

  • Jodi Lingefelt

The manager is something else....Does not seem like she is trying to make anyone feel welcomed
