Workers spend half their day on their mobile phones. When paying by the hour I don't appreciate having to pay for their phone calls. Three attempts to fix our oven and it is still not fixed. On their advice I wasted money on a thermostat and element that were perfectly fine. Follow up to response. They spent more than a day. They also did cabling and wiring work. They did no internet research. They looked at the oven and said probably needs a new element. A different guy come to replace the element. I saw him put the multi meter on the element after he pulled it out. Why wasn't is checked with multi meter before recommending a replacement not after?

Richmond fire brigade approached smarter energy solutions in regards to our old fluorescent lights in our gear room. We asked Elliot what the cost would be to have them replaced by led Baton’s, he came back to us with 2x replacement lights and installation for zero cost as we are a local volunteer fire brigade. Having just bought a house we needed quite few jobs done, from getting our breakers upgraded to fixing damaged wall sockets and switches to lights and data cabling. I was extremely pleased with the service. The guys that came were prompt, polite, efficient and helpful. I was looking for good quality hassle free work from a company and I am very happy with the work I had done. Will be calling Smarter Energy Solutions again next time we need any electrical work done.

I've had these guys out twice now. First time was to get a ceiling fan installed and the second time was to have a new power point installed. Both times I was very impressed! They turned up when they said they would, completed the work quickly and cleaned up the mess they made which is greatly appreciated. Also very happy with the pricing. Such a good experience with this business. Had a quote arranged on the same day of first contact and work was booked in the following day. Reasonable waiting time (2 weeks) considering others were estimating at least double that. All work is well documented and communication was excellent. The guys did both our place (installing a new fan and a new clothes dryer. Really prompt service, delightful to deal with and very professional. They also installed a panel heater in my 92yo dad's place. It's terrific for him as he will save heaps on his energy bill. Really pleased with their service and would them again in a heartbeat.

Tried to charge me for a job that wasn’t completed or even started. Fair enough for a call out fee but wasn’t even warned there will be one. Wasted my time say my enquires could be done but when it came to it nothing was done. Don’t think they knew what I wanted done exactly. Not a great experience
