Today, with my business Immersive Theatres, I delivered a 5m digital planetarium experience to 125 children and adults at South Yardley Library. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and found the hall prepared just as I had requested. The afternoon was well organised with all groups arriving on time. The excited audiences enjoyed a rich selection of content: peering up at the planetarium night sky; visiting the International Space Station; handling a famous meteorite and learning about the various types of stars and a future colonised Solar System. Thank you South Yardley Library for a very pleasant visit.

The south Birmingham library is located as it's a two minute walk from the shopping centre. Where are shops and you can get a bite to if you need to. The staff here are very attentive and they deal with responses from the public very quickly. The staff are always extremely helpful, and polite. The whole service provided online is excellent. The library layout and the books are easy to find. I would highly recommend a visit to this very friendly place.

I take my son weekly, he absolutely loves it, they let us take home 20 books at a time now. The staff are amazing and so incredibly kind. My son is moderately autistic and really struggles with public spaces, but luckily it never gets very busy so he finds it really comfortable here. Every weekend they do kids activities or games in the community room next door, although this has stopped the past few months

A nice situation for me because I can walk to and from the Library easily. The staff there are always helpful if I have a query, also if I want a book which they have to order, there is no problem there, they order and reserve it for me in a very civil and pleasant manner. Staff are excellent and the library has a nice ambiance.

Great staff - very helpful, and approachable. Also good opening hours too, with extended hours on Thursday. Good location, and easy to get to. Parking also out in front. Generally good environment to study and plenty of computers available. A popular, and a very well utilised resource within the local community by the council.

Lovely, tidy library with wonderful staff. Every time I have come here the people working here have been so helpful and friendly. They have been consistently patient and kind with both of my children and my children both love coming here. For us it has been a wonderful, welcoming place to visit.

Went in Monday for the first time. Staff were helpful and pleasant. I asked a staff member on the desk for help to edit a document, very polite and helpful. The lady who issued me a new card and the other staff member who helped me edit the document, thank you.

A great library and a really friendly atmosphere. Librarians are wonderful. Only problem is the toilet facilities are not great. They have study spaces but studying there all day is not a possibility because of this

Nice library, great environment for studying and working. Staff polite and helpful. Book catalogue could be a bit better - was surprised not to find any John Buchan books. Classics! Opening times can be a bit odd.

Me and my daughters go every week. Lovely library such friendly welcoming librarians. Always such a pleasure seeing their smiling faces. Always make my children feel happy going there.
