Cold hole of a place, without a single rubbish bin on ANY platform! The tannoy on the platforms are unintelligible due to idling train noise, which is irritating as Vline regularly changes country train platforms for services due to engine breakdown and general bureaucratic incompetence. About what you'd expect from a 'service' under the control of Chairman Dan, as service and quality has never mattered to Labor Victoria, unless they are choosing a venue for a junket. Take a look at the photos from during covid. 'We're deep cleaning..blah,blah'. Everyday? Hardly! The country trains don't have toilet floors cleaned and hardly ever work. Uzbekistan has a fast rail, Victoria has Andrews, hence the appalling service.

A great bus interchange at Southern Cross station because let's face it you are only here because you have to be and you are on your way somewhere else. If the CBD had a coalmine, this would be it. So dark, dirty, grim and depressing. The undulating roof may look lovely from above but considering humans can't fly (yet) then the birds and the drones are the only ones who can appreciate it. How it won a design competition is beyond me and when you think of all the lovely train stations overseas you wonder what they were thinking...

Average train station hub. First time for us, found informations boards good but failed when pointing out direction to taxis sent us the wrong way. Also looking for access to catch train for Adelaide (overland) had to find someone to ask,very frustrating. But good connections to other stations. Use the sky bus from airport to this station and to travel further on the trains this was good as no connection by train.

Southern Cross station is a very large transit staion where you can catch a train or bus. It's clean and well laid out. You can go to Melbourne airport on the Skybus which is only about a 30 minute ride. it's affordable, convenient and easy to use. It cost $72 AUD for two round trip ticket between the airport and Southern Cross for two people.

Good connectivity for trains intercity, V lone and skybus to Melbourne airport. Plenty of shopping outlets, fast food and coffee joints. Well maintained, easy to find directions and display boards of updated train timings in all locations.

Underground. Aboveground. Big transport hub. Few store inside as well. Geared for the traveller. There is a "PT" hub/office. Everything needed to get you going with myki tickets or maps - even an App. Even Amazon 'pick-up' lockers.

I had a wonderful and lovely day with my family my first train trip in Australia has been fun and enjoyable. Seats are comfortable. Definitely recommend :) would definitely do a day trip again! …

I was walking by foot, I was going in one direction while the direction showing arrow on a wrong way. How someone will find right place if a person in one way while the direction arrow in another.
