I called Southwestern Insurance Group to get a quote on new home and auto insurance. At first, the agent I spoke with with was so friendly, ready to help, and said he could definitely help me. I have a complicated situation but he said he would look into some options for me, talk to his supervisor, then get back with me. A week later, he still had not responded so I called him back. He told me he didn't call me back because he couldn't help me with anything. My situation was too complicated. So instead of calling me back, which would have been good customer service, he just decided not to call me back at all. His tone was completely different the second time we spoke. Clearly he was only focused on the sale and not really about helping me or giving me any guidance on who else I might reach out to. Considering this office had such a good reputation, I was really disappointed by the experience. Don't be fooled by the nice initial conversation. It may not be the same the second time.

Listen, Joe Moore deserves more than 5 stars for the amount he saved us! He was an absolute pleasure to work with. An overall great energy. My partner and I needed flood and hazard insurance on our home and we received multiple quotes for over 4k with less coverage - EVEN when we bundled with car insurance. Buying a home is hard, and finding the right price for the right policy was proving impossible on top of it.... until Joe took the lead on finding us the best deal. Somehow, Joe was able to get us BETTER coverage than any other quote, for less than a thousand. A fraction of the other quotes. We could've cried. James was an absolute gem to work with! He quickly worked through issues that we were having with our current provider and provided solutions that would turn into results within minutes! This had no bearing on why we swapped though, I’ve toggled with the decision to change for a long time, James had stellar communication, commitment to ensure I was happy and patience of a saint… there was no way I couldn’t go with him! Recently I have been shopping for auto insurance and through a marketplace I contacted Christian Best from Southwestern Insurance . He was extremely helpful, gave me a quick return on the estimates and the comparisons, and also was honest and fair; he let me know that at this point, my current deal was better than what they could find with their clients.
