DOUBLE CHECK THE PRICES! Very rude staff. 21 negative written reviews out of 43 that are 2 stars or less and mention multiple price issues and staff issues. This is the second time I've had a bad experience there. Today at the register, the worker rang me up and I asked why the item was more expensive than what is shown on the price tag. He ignored my question, silently took the item back, handed me back my credit card and went back to his phone conversation. In this economy, I will take my business somewhere that they smile and welcome you as a patron. Just read all their negative reviews for the evidence. There are much better spots in the neighborhood where they smile and appreciate your business, don't talk on the phone and ignore you while ringing you up, as well as have honesty and consistency in their prices.

The girl that makes the sandwiches is amazing and very pleasant. She makes great sandwiches. That’s about the only good thing about this place. Every other worker is extremely rude. I just have to repeat EVERY OTHER WORKER IS EXTREMELY RUDE! The owners of this place really need to restaff and or retrain there workers on basic customer service. I visit regularly because it is close to work and each experience has been negative. The only reason I come back is because of the girl who makes the sandwiches. She needs a raise, employee of the month and promotion. The rest should be fired. I’m very certain a physical altercation will occur soon if it hasn’t already if the attitudes of these workers do not change. The 1 star is me being very generous.

Durante mis vacaciones en NYC fui unas 4 o 5 veces a comprar a este minimarket. En cada oportunidad, luego de pasar todos los articulos, el vendedor me colocaba un cargo adicional que pense era parte de los impuestos o algo por el estilo. No obstante la última vez que compré me atendió otro vendedor y él me cobró exactamente el valor de los articulos, ni mas ni menos. Entonces me di cuenta que todas las veces anteriores me habían cobrado de mas sin motivo. Dejé de comprar en ese mercado, tampoco realicé reclamo porque mi inglés nones muy bueno, pero claramente se aprovecharon de que era turista.

The store has a very good selection that manager isn't very friendly though at late hours and sometimes can be a bit pushy or rush you and isn't very personable the customers there's a store around the corner that's a bit smaller but has a better selection I usually walk the extra blocks to go to the other store this store is average like an evodego but most of the basic products it's missing it doesn't have nutriment and the protein plus two cans of $10 when two cans of nutrients would only be $6.75 more or less so this stores average at the service isn't that great

They treat their customers like dirt. I read a few of the other reviews and agree that they are rude, crooks and racist. My last experience going there was awful. The man behind the counter, maybe an owner, can't even look at you in the eye. Doesn't say thank you and then he treated a homeless man like he was an animal. I stopped going there a long time ago. Avoid this place. Sad that a place of business can be so unfriendly.

I saw the people behind the counter treat a customer really badly today. I am not from NYC but they were really unprofessional and have no customer service skills. The guy they were treating badly seemed to be a local but he left over how they treated him. It was over something silly about a bagel. The way they treated him I would have left too. I left without buying anything.

I decided to visit this place because my Co-worker told me that they had really good breakfast sandwiches at an affordable price for the Soho area. This morning I wanted to try out this place and had a very negative experience. The staff either didn't speak English or had extreme attitudes. Very rude and unwelcoming. I walked out hungry and upset.

The owners really need to check their employees. . How can you be talking on the phone and taking care of the guests. . I have to litterally repeat my order three times. .. and if you going to stop serving sandwiches at 11pm at night. . You guys need to put a sign up or something. . I guess they don't want me to spend my money there...

Staff has always been extremely rude and unwelcoming, but I kept shopping there because it’s conveniently located for me. However this last time was too much, with the cashier being openly hostile as I asked to for him to get me something from behind the counter. I’ve decided not to give this store any more of my business.

It's a neiborhood stop and shop grocery store/deli. They have most of the daily essentials regarding breakfast/lunch sandwiches etc... Only thing they close their grill and toaster oven after lunch, and so you're outta luck for anything hot, heated. Other than that it's good to go for w/e you crave for food or drink.

Bought a six-pack of beer that was horribly skunked. This led me to check the bottling date (a code that I looked up online) to learn that it was bottled 10 months ago. Tried to exchange it for another type and they refused. They've always been arrogant jerks but this shows they're shortsighted cheapskates too.

Worker is very rude I just spent $40 dollars on god knows what I got 3-4 things and the guy was throwing it in the bag and made up prices and was nasty don’t come here I am Also going to put this on my Instagram where I have a good amount of people to see

This is a pretty decent bodega with the usual people always working. They have a good variety of cold beer, albeit expensive like everything else there. There's lottery, a deli, and lots of home goods.

This retailer is a cheat. They sell faulty products and then do not offer an exchange even if purchased the same day. Do not buy anything here. Terrible service. And terrible experience. Avoid!!!

Crooks! Paid for my item and the guy at the counter refused to hand it over because his pea sized brain thought he already handed it to me, intimated I was intending to steal a $6 pack of gum!

Nice selection of items. The lady making the sandwiches is very friendly. Beware of distasteful individuals and do not give money to the junkie, drunken beggars outside the store.

They will spike the price at the cash register! Increased my price from $15 to $25. Check price of all items you have before checking out and call them out on it.
