DISMAL and majorly dissapointing.. Leadership = 0 Stars = not convinced the Vicar is actually Gods Representative. ................................................................................................... Staff In the Office 2 stars which is for the one considerate kind member of staff I knew but as for any others 0 Stars. .................................................................................................. Church or Business Church .. Definetely not my idea of Church Business... Very Very Successful Business , Father Mark is shrewd and clever . He has everything inside and outside the Church making money. £2 for the Church and £1 for him. From Kindergarten , to pre school, Weight loss classes Table Top Sales 3 times a week .. Dont ask for a reciept if you buy a space as they dont give you this. Its all cash under the table everytime. .................................................................................................. Christian or non Christian ? More than likely Christless and a Fabrication of all those reasons which gave jesus in the new testament His reason to go inside and turn everything upside down , it greived Him to see what was happening inside the Church. ................................................................................................. Openly Friendly ?? No not at all. more like a clicky club , once your in then you may enjoy all the fruits of what some I know benifit from being park of the click . .................................................................................................. The Prayer Chapel .. Open for use most of the time but never ask to use the toilets unless you are a full member of this club , they will refuse you access to the toilet so take a bucket with you . .................................................................................................... .................................................................................................

THE CLAIMS MADE BY THIS CHURCH: St John’s exists at the heart of Fulham to serve as an accessible place of worship, refuge and peace. To nurture our faith and reach out to the needy and wider community in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.’ We want to be a people working at being God-focussed, Trustworthy, Loving, Welcoming, Faithful, Friendly and Inclusive. This statement was created by members of our congregation reflecting the sort of community we want to be, and that God has called us to be. We often sum up this longer statement by saying we're called to Humility, Hospitality and Holiness. By keeping our feet on the ground - by walking with our family, neighbours and co-workers - we try to imitate Jesus in extending his warm welcome to everyone. In the Gospels we see Jesus eating and drinking with all sorts of outsiders, oddballs and excluded people; these people knew that they weren't 'holy' but Jesus made them whole - so they followed him. We've discovered that if we're hospitable and welcome people, like Jesus did, then we are transformed - made holy - into the likeness of Christ: MY EXPERIENCE ON TWO WEEKDAY VISITS: Unfriendly, unwelcoming, rude and offensive! Both times I have left feeling disgusted at the behavoiur of those keeping watch. There seems no point in having an open door if you only want to be unpleasant! I see nothing here to inspire anything other than distain!! The claim on the façade and website of humility hospitality and holiness seem nowhere in evidence!! My experience shows all the above claims, quoted from their own website to be nothing but pious rubbish, and frankly quite dishonest!

The church is very nice. Good people and friendly staff. I love their Saturday church yard sale is my favourite day. Very, unfortunately, I’m not local anymore. However, I still like to go sometimes to visit the church, pray, check out the tabletop sale that is amazing and contribute etc. ( Susie is a lovely lady and sells exquisite products, the profits go to the church for their amazing social projects ). Wish could go more often as they are the only reason to visit that area now, even if only to light a candle and pray a little, as it makes me feel so relaxed and serene. Going there and talking to the staff helped me feel much better by always having someone to listen to. They do a great job also with people experiencing homelessness. Once, I was on my way to pray at night, and they were having a nice dinner. The work they do to help is admirable. Even if I do not live that close anymore will still make sure to visit as often as possible. I recommend it as the minister is also very good and child-friendly. They have service for children and families, for adults too, excellent choir also. I can honestly say they are friends.

I can't comment on the church. I mainly go to the market at the rear of the church that is held at weekends and a few days of the week at certain times of the year. You can pick up the odd piece of vintage jewelry and other items. The sellers are a friendly group of people who also sell at other venues. I bought a hallmarked silver WW2 ARP badge for £7 from a nice lady there last week.

Lots of bell tolling, way more than any other churches I lived around. Bell is sounded every hour, and also goes off for 20 minutes straight(!) at some other time, sometimes more than once a day. Only good about it is its garden with some trees (although many of them were recently felled to be an empty trunk).

Why has the scaffolding been up for so many years, detracting from the beauty of the building ? I thought at first it was for renovation work, but nothing has every been done. The scaffolding is covered with a picture of the church behind - let's see the real thing !!!

It's actually nice seeing a bar in a church compound. You can go for a church service in the morning, leave for chelsea home game and come back to the church for a some Bavarian beer and Sausages in the church garden.

Nice church, Friday and Saturday there is a table top sale with a lot of good stalls and people selling all sorts of things. Nice relaxing atmosphere and in easy reach of cafe's, restaurants and shops

I did volunteers year ago upstairs at the bilingual spanisg Peques nursery . I also like to pray and place candles .and some time walk in the evenings mass

  • DuckPuncher

Horrible and corrupt. The scaffolding has been in place for YEARS just to make money from the ads on it. And this is but one example

They don't stop ringing their bells, every 2 seconds for 20 minutes per hour every morning, I'm going to complain to the council
