St. Bernard Hospital has always had a bad rap since as long as I can remember. But yesterday, I can say that I had a decent experience. I was rushed here because my pain killers took longer than usual to kick in. In the ER, it was the same old usual ridiculously long wait time. I was here for round about 5 whole entire hours. From around 11:45am to about 5:30pm. Long story short, I wasn't removed to the waiting area after checking in because my covering. I was very glad that I wasn't removed because I had direct access to ask my wait status. I don't remember the name of the check-in receptionist but she was very polite and professional. Then an RN named Fatima was very kind. She retrieved dry coverings for me when she realized I had none. She was even so nice to put socks on my feet herself. I thought that was very sweet because I could have done it myself, and I didn't ask her to. Fatima remained polite and professional and kept a good spirit even in the environment. I witnessed tension among staff and patients. There were also other staff who didn't have the best attitude. But this is not about them so I won't release their names. I forget the name of the nurse who gave me a shot. I should have declined it because I didn't need it but she was kinda pushy..... Maybe her name was Maria I am not sure. After about 4.5 hours, I guess it was the phone call of my family checking why was I still there, is what made them finally tell the doctor to see me. Finally, got an exam and a prescription then I was out of there about 30mins after that. There was also a female security guard there who was also polite and patient, but I didn't catch her name.

If I could give no stars I absolutely would. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism, disrespect and blatant nastiness in my life from a medical facility. I thought my first interaction with the 4th floor was just a person who was having a challenging day, until I called to register a complaint with patient services person and she was equally unprofessional. I have encountered two amazing people Amanda on the 1st floor 15Sep @5:30pm and I wish I had written the other name down to share how they are both the sunshine in the midst of darkness! It is unfortunate that my loved one is being treated here, this was his choice. I just called the 3rd floor on 15Sep@5:15 pm and the nurse answering said, "I can't give you no information. " Maam you could simply have transferred me to the 1st floor where my uncle was: unreal. I have no idea how they treat the patients, but if their phone etiquette is an indicator, please just leave me on the street or take me to a real hospital. It is beyond sad and down right scary. I pray for my uncle and anyone else forced to be cared for at this hospital: actually, is it really a hospital?

A black older man died in the ER wait room December 31st, 2020 because of possible negligence from many parties. From my understanding an older black man was brought in by ambulance, was left by EMT without being “checked” in by an ER liaison who was not at her station when I arrived, nor replaced, and should have been returned to her post after discussions with security. HOWEVER, TWO security guards present who cant check you in but described nurses in the back not wanting to do it because it was below their pay grade and then taking names to the back and then never being entered. They are not nurses, doctors, nor CNA’s and can only do so much. The man was responsive when he arrived and then present for a hour plus “slumber”. When the liaison returned, she noticed him with 10 and rushed to him. Asking him his name, checking his pulse, smacking his chest. I was quickly and mildly saying take him to the back take him to the back! He went code blue twice and died! That man was dead when I arrived, prior to the liaison return and while nurses coming in and out calling names.

My fiancé needed extraction of an impacted wisdom tooth. We have spent months trying to get him in somewhere. The dental services department’s was able to get him in the next day, we were a bit nervous considering all of the negative reviews. I have nothing negative to say about my experience with this hospital. All of the staff was polite and very friendly, even making jokes and helping him stay calm before his procedure! The nurses and doctor were helpful and seemed experienced and wanted to help. It wasn’t sparkling clean or state of the art like some newer hospitals, but was not disgusting like described in other reviews. There was no bad smell or clear neglect of cleaning procedures. I can’t say anything about the emergency department other than what we saw walking past. Not many people waiting and it appeared to be clean. It’s like any hospital you go to, probably under staffed and over worked employees that are doing the best they can. In all this craziness, the hospital still managed to get us in right away and give us a pleasant experience.

If there were ZERO stars I'd give this place 10 of them. The staff negligently transfers patients to other facilities without checking for common things like wounds and rashes and the not-so-common BED BUGS and LICE. Shame on you for not properly caring for your patients before exposing EMTs, Intake, your staff, and even other patients to bed bugs and lice. It is not difficult to treat the patients and especially INFORM the receiving facility of these types of things before transferring. That's a total lack of respect and ethics on your part. You also carelessly violated HIPAA when you sent over the wrong belongings sheet with a transfer. I've already taken the steps necessary to have this place inspected by Public Health and Joint Commission from top to bottom and hopefully they close your doors for such poor, neglectful care of sick people, and putting everyone else in harm's way. Do you want to bring bed bugs and lice home with you after a 12-hour shift? No? Then do your job.

I was at this hospital on April 4th, yesterday. I went in for excruciating body pain ( I could barely walk), chills, nausea, and weakness. They took EKG, X Ray of my chest, found nothing. But because they put my chief complaint as chest pain, the doctor disputed the fact I couldn’t walk. He said it’s possibly a upper respiratory infection or the flu, which I was not tested for. I was discharged with no prescription, not even pain meds. They only gave me medicine while in the ER for nausea. But my insurance paying this hospital. They do not care! As long as the insurance is paying them. My advice do not go to this hospital! I called Patient Advocate, but I’m sure nothing was done. I couldn’t walk for Pete’s sake! If the doctor name is Dr. Edgardo RUN!!!! He was paid for nothing by my insurance. He was in and out of my room in less than a minute.

Almost a year ago today, I legally changed my name. When i checked into ER at St. Bernards, all information was given honestly and completely. Upon admission to the hospital, however, they changed my name to my dead name (a birth name that has been changed). No amount of persuading could convince them to stop using a name, which in my case, is toxic. I struggled the last 2 days i was in the hospital (stress-related health issue) due to "toxic name syndrome." A cleaning person came only 1 of the 4 days i was in there. The bathroom floor and floor beneath the bed were very sticky and dirty. Now since I've been released, my pharmacy (which received prescriptions for me) called to inquire if i had changed my name back. I wouldn't recommend this medical facility for anything but a bee sting, perhaps.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wang for 3 years. He doesn’t treat his patients well. But worse than that, he ruins people’s credit through double billing. I’ve had insurance my whole life. It wasn’t until 2017 that I started receiving Debit&Creditor mail for PAID medical treatment through my insurance. If you don’t call and dispute his medical bills (that your insurance likely paid for), it will ruin your credit. I called my insurance to confirm that they paid him. I was still double billed for following appointments. He creates profit by exploiting vulnerable communities. UPDATE 2023: Dr.Wang changed his business name and location to avoid investigation and taxes. He purchased positive reviews from one website that allowed him. He has not changed any of his practices.

I am currently a dental patient of Dr. Forbes at St Bernard’s adult dental clinic. I am fortunate to have such a skilled professional who is also personable and caring. Over the past year, Dr Forbes and her staff have gone beyond their roles as health professionals in showing me guidance and offering comfort and concern at a time when my dental health is failing. As many can attest, losing teeth and transitioning to dentures is mentally, emotionally and physically taxing on an individual. The dental staff at St Bernard Hospital deserves positive recognition and encouragement to continue their good work in a community that is underserved and in need of professional health care.Thank you for all you do. Eternally grateful. Rosa H., Patient

Absolutely awful customer service. I was in need to speak with the anesthesiologist department. It was a very unprofessional experience. The staff member whom referred me to them was even more unprofessional. It came across as someone talking at you instead to you. I am well educated so I can follow basic instructions. The anesthesiologist intake rep overstepped on a topic of my child’s adoption. I assume she felt comfortable because she insured me of her 30+ experience. However, when I had a chance to speak with the actual anesthesiologist, he was pleasant. Which was a breath of fresh air at this facility. This hospital needs a lot of growth. From updating systems to a mychart for patients convenience . To customer service training.

The first time I came here was about a month ago. I waited 7 hours to be seen. Today, I waited 4 hours, only for me to suggest medications from the doctor and for him to tell me he doesn't really know what's wrong and to follow up with my primary doctor. If you are reading this, please Google the reviews of Chicago hospitals before going. The waiting room today ONLY HAD 3 people in front of me...I'm thinking "yes, I'll be in and out". They called someone before me who came in 2 1/2 hours after me. I had to go to the registration desk to see what was going on. They forgot about me...it's filthy, operated by incompetent staff, bums walking around freely, a hot mess... I couldn't believe my eyes...don't do it if you have a choice!

If I could give St. Bernard a negative 100..I would. I will say all the staff is horrible, but 90% of the nurses need to go get re-trained. My father was restraint everyday, no switching sides--he suffered a bed sore because of this. We would push the call light for a urinal or bed pan and still have to wait so long that my father would mess himself. We only saw and spoke with the doctor 2 times and he was there for 3 WEEKS, and when we sw him, he told me my dad heart problem was NO BIG DEAL! We had to deal with 3-4 different Social Workers everytime we needed something. Some seem to care and other social workers could have cared less. Long story short--DON'T EVEN TAKE YOUR DOG TO St. Bernard Hospital.

  • Shaunie Taylor

If I could zero stars I honestly would the only thing this honestly needs a better staff their slow I'm six weeks pregnant I'd went in twice complaining of really bad pains in my lower abdomen and back. both times they told me nothing was wrong the first visit not to mention nobody wanted to finish their jobs i technically had to keep track of everything myself including the tests they were going to give ... Second visit they didn't even finish seeing me at all drew blood from both arms and I never got the test resultsIn order to even get the right treatment I had to visit another hospital on either visits nobody said anything was wrong not even the ultrasound technician

  • Sheldon Durant

Saint Bernard hospital I rate them at a negative 5 star. The hospital is not clean, the infection control in the facility is almost non existent. the management staff in the EVS department is a joke. Favoritism, family and friends getting special treatment and not doing their jobs . The management staff is very unprofessional, and oblivious how to run a department. The hospital is constantly running out of cleaning supplies to clean the hospital. The administrative staff is allowing things to continue not just in EVS but in all of the departments such as nursing. This hospital is an insult to the health care system.

  • Leilanie

I been trying to schedule an appointment for my daughter for dental anesthetic surgery for the past two months. This place is a joke for sure. Everytime I call everyone who answers got an attitude, a lack of interest in hearing what u need. I left multiple messages to schedule her appointment and it literally took a month to get a call back. When they called me I , the call when straight to voicemail and I have been calling every day leaving messages to schedule her appointment. This place is unbelievable. Nothing that I have ever experienced before. This hospital really need new management asap. Its ridiculous.

  • Gabe Vargas

I came to an appointment after a small procedure done here. Both times I received poor care. I guess having Ambetter for insurance did not help. I guess it's true, you get what you pay for. Sad though, since we are talking about healthcare. My appointment was at 11am. I arrived at 10:30 am. At 12:10 the doctor's assistant tells me the doctor stepped out to go to the other hospital to see a patient. Really? I had my son with me which was more of an inconvenience. As an employee of Healthcare services group it is a disgrace to have to settle for sub par care. This is what I get for leaving blue cross/blue shield.

  • Andrea Richardson

I hate I had to give this place the one star I gave them in order to give them a review. We have been here for 2 shift changes, within that time they have only called 4 people to triage. The staff sit around joking and playing as of this place is a playground. More than 30 people have sat here for about 5 hours to only get up and walk out . Their excuse for not calling patients is that the nurses are caught in traffic. State need to come and babysit this place and figure out when no one can do their job. Either the owner Pam Rush don’t know what’s going on here or she doesn’t care . Something must be done!

  • Janai Polk

Most of the nurses have attitudes and don't know how to talk to the patience. Then they barely pay attention to the patients in the room plus not feeding the patience. I had to go up there and curse them out about my sister complaining about how they haven't fed her since she been there Thursday. Then one of her nurses turned off her emergency room button that u press. Now that I went up there and snapped on them they want to show more cared and be concerned after I went off. I shouldn't have to do all that just for them to do there jobs. Never again going back to saint Bernard if my life was on the line.

  • She Pisces

Upon walking up to the receptionist desk, in the pain management department, suite 205, the receptionist picked up her personal phone, pointed it towards the computer where patients are checked in and personal payment info is logged, she snapped a picture of what was on the computer screen. This is how innocent people have to deal with their credit cards being hacked. It isn't always a rough thug on the street stealing someone's purse, clearly, it is also the receptionist at St. Bernards hospital, in the pain management department, suite 205.I complained about it but they did nothing.

  • Marchanda Smith

I just want to start off with the security staff (the men only ) completely disrespectful to patients I get you already don't want to be there but to show up to your job with that fd up attitude and picking and messing with paitents isn't apart of your job description at all or talking to them crazy. Secondly the staff.... Triage things went smooth with nurse and aid and doctor i met with things were great it's when it came time for the test to be done I never received any of the test I was supposed to be given didn't get to be seen at all after being admitted I wouldn't go back

  • c.a. schenk

I was born at St. B..All of you complaining do not realize that this Hospital like so many in Chicago are struggling because so many people who they serve do not have insurance. Who do you think should pay for your medical care? someone else? Then when the Hospital closes because they cannot afford to stay open everyone complains. If this hospital is in your neighborhood then start volunteering to help them raise money or to just help out when you have free time. Don't just sit back and wait for someone else to do it..You will be very glad you did and you will help others.

  • Jovanta Dixon

If I could rate below one star I DEFINITELY WOULD❗️ This hospital smells horrific and the staff would rather stand around engaging in personal conversation rather than helping those in need..I’ve currently been sitting here for the past 3 hours only to be told the fast track doctor took lunch and won’t be back for an hour...and when I asked the question about them having more than one doctor the nurse gave attitude snatched my papers out my hands and said the doctor will see me after lunch....these folks won’t ever get a chance to run my insurance up again

  • Sandy Lacy

I went there after being told they were Englewood Urgent Care also. They took x-rays days right away. I was taken to a bed in the ER. I was left waiting to see a doctor. She came half an hour later. She told me that someone would be in shortly to administer an IV. I waited 45 minutes only to have a nurse come in to tell me that the meds would be admitted shortly. An hour later, nothing has happened so I left. I have COPD and asthma. I went in because I couldn't breathe only to be treated like it was nothing. Worst hospital ever! I'll never go there again.

  • Marie Daniels

Literally the most dehumanizing experience I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, I had to wait over an hour to see the psychiatrist, then he told me to stop taking shrooms and marijuana because I would become a paranoid schizophrenic, the nurses and doctor couldn't even get my birthday right, and when I went to registration to see if I could change it to my preferred name, and they said that they couldn't do it, I have never had this issue with any hospitals before and I never even want to come back here. I am absolutely disgusted and enraged

  • BUGSY G

I was in the crazy house for 5 1/2 days because i did some crazy stuff so they put me there i couldn't remember my info like name, were i live & etc. I don't blame who took me there . i could of die thank god Almighty that i didn't. Besides that i recovered fast i was okay in 3 days they still didn't want me to go because they want it that 6 days money. That staff were kool but there slow on doing stuff. Hopefully I won't have to go back there anytime soon. I got to remember think before i react its eazyer said than done.✔✔

  • Gregori Jenkins

My mother got routed to this dismal place unfortunately and the staff proved themselves to be incompetent, inept, brash, and unhelpful. Living across the country, my only goal was to speak to my mother in her time of need. However, it appears that this place only has phones in the hallways and the nurses aren't manning their stations to somehow route the call. If it's this bad just calling, I could only wonder what all types of awful it is to visit this abomination of a health facility as described in other reviews.

  • Dallas Ebony

I was referred to the pain Dr. James Diesfeld by my orthopedic Dr. I walked in to someone smoking marijuana in the elevator. I still tried to push through because of my pain. Got to the office 205 to register and this is a hospital and we are in a pandemic the staff at the window had no mask on. The patients had no mask. Wow this place needs a major investigation on their practices. So sorry people are being subject to this level of health care. If you can avoid this place at all cost. Your heath may depend upon it

  • Michelle

They collect funding from Catholic Charities, not the government. Lack of resources for staff and clients is by design. (It’s sadder knowing that money is hugely available, but intentionally withheld) They exploit the states resources through billing Medicaid/Medicare recipients in vulnerable communities without providing treatment for conditions. And they also exploit vulnerable clients seeking mental health treatment. There is sadly sex trafficking within certain departments. (Maintained by staff)

  • Alicia Earl

I took my daughter in this morning at 9am her side was hurting when she inhaled to breath or coughed by 945 her blood had been drawn, urine sample taken and registered in. We was told to wait and she would be called to the back after 3 hours of waiting and they still hadn't call her the security called to the back he took us back there just for the nurse to say go back to the waiting area. Their service is HORRIBLE and I will never take another relative of mine there AGAIN..

  • Dana Edwards

Came for a appointment with Dr. Chan (podiatrist) was given a 9am appt, however the doctor doesn't come in til 9:30am... Then was told my appt was at 9:40am but I have a card that say 9am... Whole time I'm thinking when I saw the doctor that I was going to get called.... Noooo... There were people in the back rooms already!!!! Talking about first come first serve basis... WHY GIVE ME AN APPOINTMENT IF IT'S FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!!!!! THEY DON'T DESERVE NOT ONE STAR!!!!!!

  • Kayy Latrice

I went in for an induced labor last Tuesday. The team that I had in labor and delivery: Wendy, Liza, and especially Dr. Bradshaw made my experience so wonderful!!! They made the whole process of giving birth easy and smooth. I did have some complications but Dr. Bradshaw made sure everything was on track up until the delivery of my baby girl. I can’t thank her enough! Her sweet spirit is just amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better Dr. or better nurses!

  • Tony Diaz

So made appointment for my special needs son who is trached knowing this they scheduled him. Then I come with his nurse and dentist states need to see antesoglist to see if they could see my son. Then walk outside to other buildings had to register for visit again. Doctor comes and talks wabout couple minutes and say we can't help him. He took critical care which they knew prior to appointment . Was complete waster of time and money scam to bill more.

  • Angela Richmond

  • Shantai Roberson

I sat in that waiting room for 9 hours they register me gave me a x-ray for my knee and then they told me it was going to be a 20 hour wait to see the doctor for slip and fall and after she said that two men start fighting and a good 10 employees came from the back of the ER to watch the fight That is ridiculous. Some of the employees was nice but the major was nasty. My knee is still hurting and I now have to go somewhere to get seen

  • michelle szilagyi

If you have a scheduled appointment and your there early for it DON'T expect them to even he fashionably late... I've been here over three hours an they just came in to ask me if I have an IV in. They don't even know!!! Staff is HORRIBLE. They make is seem like you an inconvenience when they are getting paid to do their job!! Don't even talk to me about how unsanitary this place is!! Theirs dirt on every inch!!! DON'T GO HERE!!!!

  • Jennifer Smith

Well i arrived here at St. Bernard Hospital me and my daughter at about 4pm now it's 7pm, my daughter had got a ring stuck on her finger which i couldn't get it off so here we are at St. Bernard, crazy!!! Just to get a ring off i think they are sucking what they can get from the insurance, having me to wait this long for a ring to get off my daughter finger really??? This Hospital is terrible to me the worse!!!

  • D H

Of course no one wants to take a trip to the hospital with that being said my experience @StBH wasn't bad at all. Everyone was really nice and caring all of the Drs you have to see when coming in as emergency were awesome very concerned about patient care and privacy.Security was very nice to patients waiting in waiting area registration lady was nice Hospitals Can Be Cold But The Staff@STBH Made Me Feel Very Warm.

  • Germeda Gholar

I've been to the EMERGENCY ROOM for myself numerous times and the wait process is so long, the patients list is unorganized, its been times they want have your name on the list after waiting hours for your name to be called, RN's are very rude and insensitive, doctors discharge you for major illnesses. Even the people that answers the phones are rude. I will not recommend this hospital for myself and my children.

  • Latrice Reddick

My niece was 7 months pregnant and was brought in for early labor. When I approached the officer I asked if he had seen her and her mom. He told me no then I asked with more description and was told "You need to ask him, I don't work here." The whole time we have been here we have experienced rude and uncaring behavior. The nurse was ok but everyone else moves with no purpose and little respect for others.

  • Uduak Akinfenwa

Hello, my name is Uduak Akinfenwa. I want to say a big thank you to Dr. Mcguire, Vanessa, Nurse Smith and the nurse that took care of me through the day of my surgery on the 11th of December. You were all amazing. I ask that God will bless each of you immensely and grant the desires of your heart always. Thank you for your care and warmth and for allowing God to use you to heal me. Thank you

  • Sandra Thomas

My mom & I have had all our Covid vaccinations & booster shots processed here and Excellent is the word that best describes the Care. The facility has great parking options, the nursing staff was caring and efficient. The Phone registration was easy. Our overall rating is 5 stars & thanks for being available to the Community during this unprecedented time of Crisis.

  • thomas hawkins

Attempted to reach the psychiatric department and my call was sent to maybe 5 different people. I also went to their emergency room and waited for maybe 6 hours when I was told that they couldn’t do anything. No referrals, nothing. I only spoke with the doctor for maybe 2 minuets, and the only thing he could provide me was a paper telling my employer where I went.

  • Vicki Melton

Within the past few months I had to go in for an x-ray and once to the ER. From check-in through the procedures, everyone was nice and efficient. I didn't mind the wait because the service was good. Actually, in the past 2 years, I have not had a bad experience yet. Glad they are here so we don't have to go downtown or out to Metairie or Slidell all the time.

  • Tasha Hill

Beware and Stay away from this hospital!!!! My daughter came in with stomach pain and vomiting and throw up a few times while in the hospital. It’s been 8 hrs and still haven’t seen a dr. The patient advocate is no help, all she did was come down to listen. This hospital is a big joke. It seem like it is just a safe haven for drug addiction and mental illness

  • Roberto Banks

I would give this place a zero but its not an option. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! The staff make mistake after mistake after mistake. They socialize like its school, messed up putting my info in the computer, nurses flirting with me and other unprofessional things. This place either needs to be closed down or the staff fired and replaced.

  • Whitney Nantista-Smith

I got a chance to use the St Bernard Mobile Clinic Bus today! Mrs Shari Davis, PA-C was amazing! The care and compassion she showed my daughter and I was amazing. She took her took her time giving the evaluation, physical. Asked questions, listened, gave suggestions. She is a gem. You all are blessed to have such a caring woman working for you all.

  • Darkarrow Woods

Doctors spend more time walking and talking to each other rather than taking care of patients in the waiting room. I seen people come in after me check in and leave and I’m still here. I really recommend people not come to this hospital the service is so unprofessional and sad. I’m bout to just go to another hospital cause this is ridiculous.

  • Marsha Washington

My experience there today was awesome! My son had an unbearable toothache. He walked into the dentist's office there and was taken care of promptly and professionally while I walked around the corner to have my covid booster. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the smooth, efficient service we both received today!

  • Pinkie Dabney

THIS HOSPITAL IS THE WORST EVER!!!! THE STAFF IS VERY INEXPERIENCED IN QUALITY CARE LET ALONE NOT EQUIPPED 2 HANDLE VARIOUS MEDICAL CONDOTIONS. ESPECIALLY SICKLE CELL ANEMIA. THEY DONT HAVE HALF THE DOCTORS THEY NEED. THEY ALSO TRICK PEOPLE INTO THINKING THEY WILL BE TRANSFERED JUST SO THEY CAN BILL INSURANCE. WORST HOSPITAL EVER!!!!

  • Jada Hunter

I brought my 4 year old son into the hospital due to him falling and hitting his head on the ground on his way to school we sat in one of the rooms for 4 hours and he was not seen by a doctor at all we where discharged and sent home they way this hospital operators is completely unacceptable this is very poor medical service

  • Amber M.

I honestly feel like they just want you to suffer and die in the ER waiting room. Terrible service, attitude, dirty and smells. Google the next nearest hospital because this one wont do anything to make you better. Worst hospital I've ever seen in my life, I have no idea how this hospital is still up and running!

  • Luis Pagan

Very caring and friendly staff. Security guard runs to open the door for new patients, and keeps excellent track of who is next. IT'S A HOSPITAL PEOPLE - Remember that it may be busy at times in which case patients sometimes need to be seen based on "Severity" in an effort to Keep People Alive.... helloooooooo?¿?

  • Sarah Earing

Gave meds I'm allergic to n had psych hold on me because I fell asleep in er after seizure plus meds I regularly take at bedtime wasn't suicidal a danger to myself or others until they gave me ativan which is on my allergy list so because of their stupidity and incompetence I had to stay for a 72hr psych hold.

  • Treesy Storm

Got to the ER at 3:30 pm wasn't triaged until after 6:00 pm and registered a little later. I came in for eye swelling & pain. Should have been sent through fast track. This is the worse hospital in the world. I'll take my chances on curing myself next time. Wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy.

  • Daily LGBTQ Discussions

I went here twice and nothing ever happened to me. I always get great food and they give me my Medicine on time. And one lady Donna is very kind to me. She always says hi to me and speaks to me. I never have bad service. I was hearing voices and once they kept giving me the medicine the voices went away.

  • Wanda Napier

I had a client who was at this hospital and they lost her snowsuit and gym shoes and they offered her a 25 dollar gift card. Where can you replace a snowsuit and gym shoes for 25 dollars. This is so unfair it's not her fault that the hospital lost it. SMH. Then the patient advocate was rude about it.

  • Joseph Brumfield

Worst hospital in the U S of A.The so called nurse doesn't know how to draw blood without bruising you. The security sits around and gossip all day low budget rent a cops with colored hair that you are supposed to take seriously junkies and bums sleep in the waiting area just freaking horrible

  • Queen Harley

Yesterday I Went To St. Bernard Hospital In The Newer Building. Everything From The Floors Is Clean And The Appointments Was On Time. The Only Little Problem Is These Desk Receptionists Were Disrespectful Besides The Receptionist For The Diagnostics Imaging Unit And The Doctor Was Very Sweet

  • Antinia Hardy

This hospital is horrible the ER wouldn't let two gun wounded patients in because of the cold air coming from the doors so she made them walk around to use the other doors they told her at the door they had both been shot she didn't even get up out her chair but was sitting on facetime

  • Nella Bella

  • BabyJ 1010

I switched to St. Bernard for prenatal care due to an insurance dispute, so far the staff has been very friendly and attentive. It is very organized and I have not have a problem yet. The care I am receiving is much better than my previous Doctor, I would definitely recommend it.

  • Ashley Roeller

I would never go back! I waited 5 hours just for them to take my temperature and blood pressure .. I ended up walking out, people had their kids in the waiting lobby running around screaming playing loud music and the service is terrible! I would never recommend this hospital!

  • Vicki Reed

Worst emergency room experience ever......i sat in the room for 2 hrs before a doctor even came to see me......they told me i was being admitted and it took them 6 hrs to get my room together and i. Pretty sure they had beds available.....they need to be shut down permanently

  • Elvira Ruiz

Zero stars for this facility, literally the worst hospital I have ever been to. It’s a shame that the head nurse JESSICA was the worst of all making the experience even worst. Rude and unprofessional. Jessica the head nurse needs to get demoted brings the whole team down !

  • Davonda Buck

This was the worst hospital i have ever been to! The waiting room and bathrooms were not clean. The nursing staff was inattentive and rude. And the security guard doing check in is absurd, they have no medical training! I'll never go back! Recommend you go elsewhere also!

  • Venus Johnson

Worse hospital ever!!! Xray at 9pm still waiting ar 1am!!! I will never come here again..they really need a brand new staff..from the top to the bottom!!! Maybe they will be more professional and really treat a emergency room as that and not just a meeting spot!!!

  • Sherita Johnson

They really don’t deserve any stars. I been sitting here for 3 hours now with a sore neck, throat and my throat is closing and no one knows how much longer I have to wait. The dam nurses are unprofessional and rude.? I would Not recommend this hospital to a dog.

  • brenda velazquez

If you do not want to live then go to this hospital. They will let you die before someone even acknowledges you. It smells horrible. Staff is so unprofessional. I work in the medical field and I'm embarrassed that this hospital even represents our field.

  • Ada Delacruz

My brother was rushed into the ER and they aren’t giving us an update on him and they won’t let us transfer him either and while I was speaking to them they shut the phone on my face. Very rude and unprofessional!!

Soon upon arrival at the hospital it was okay; geting registered was good up to the point of reaching the waiting area, the floor is partially covered in garbage and had a strong smell of reefer.

  • Valerie G

I am very very upset that I have to deal with this place. The people in admissions have no idea what they're doing waiting hours for them to call me back and they don't know how to do their job.

  • Regina Thomas

I went there for EkG they gave me pediatric EKG and the lady that did it surely didn't care because she read them and put it envelope and hand to me like It complete for me to have surgery.
