I want to begin by saying the doctor and nurse were great-- no issues or complaints. That said, the security and entering the emergency department is a different story and leaves a lot to be desired. Upon entering the emergency department, I was met with security and a line of a couple of other people. I was visiting the ED with a 5 month old infant who was showing signs of heat exhaustion and possible dehydration so getting vitals checked was critical. Unfortunately, when I mentioned this to the security guard, she told me I had to wait in line like everyone else (no pediatric patients were in front of me, just adults). Just over to the left was a nurse or nurses assistant at the triage table who was standing around. I asked if I could just have my infant checked quickly to which I was DENIED. The nurse was standing about 4 feet away from me just waiting for me to go through security despite my pleas to simply have my baby's vitals checked. I offered to stay in line or leave my bag behind just so my baby could be checked, but was continuously denied. After about a 6-7 minute wait, because there was a line and the guard proceeded to check every single neck and cranny of my diaper bag, I was sent over to the triage table were the nurse was literally waiting with his hands in his pockets. There was zero remorse, understanding, or apology shown. My baby was checked, our wait in the waiting room was short, and we were sent back. When my husband arrived, he was met with someone at the security checkpoint again who was not security. It was an older,bald gentleman who was dressed in teal scrubs with no name badge showing (so we could not get a name). My husband said this man was incredibly rude and he also was told to wait to be escorted back to the room where I was with my baby. When the man walked my husband back, he came to our room, knocked very hard on the sliding door and slid the door open waking my infant who was asleep in my arms. We were very upset at this point. Unfortunately, the first impression of St. Josephs Children's Hospital leaves a lot to be desired. If these are the type of people you have as a first point of contact, many other patients will have similar experiences, but may not be as quiet as I am. We were disregarded in an emergency situation with no care shown by the front staff. This honestly has left such a poor taste in our mouths that it is highly unlikely we will return to this hospital. The lack of concern shown by security in an emergency department, which also houses pediatrics, is disgusting. Some retraining on how to treat patients would benefit these people as well as a better plan on how to clear security when someone with a legitimate emergency, let alone an infant displaying critical signs, are entering the emergency department. What we encountered was unacceptable and avoidable. Please come up with a better plan in situations like these.

All I can say is that this was the worst hospital experience I have ever had. I came in through emergency due to severe pain, had surgery done and was in this hospital for a week. From the moment I came in pratically screaming due to pain, they kept putting people into rooms who had no pain, and were laughing. They pratically ignored me until my brother and mother had to put a fit. Then they admit me into the hospital. I'm put in room B648. The day I was supposed to have surgery, the nurse taylor, told me to get ready that they were coming to pick me up for surgery and then left me waiting there 1 hour and a half without telling me that surgery had been postponed for next day. I went from 12am until 5:30pm without anything to eat and if I hadn't called for her to see what was going on, I'd still be sitting there. This nurse taylor was unprofessional and definitely lots of miscommunication with the pre op department. And then when I asked her for something, her response was I'm busy with other patients. On the day before my last day, the nurse Kayla, I asked for pain medicine and she had a fit and injected the pain medicine into my IV so fast that my entire stomach jumped and my my heart felt like it was going to stop. I asked for the manager and asked to be changed to another nurse. I don't know if they hire people to work here or animals. What she did was unprofessional, unhumanlike, and people like her should not be working around other people. The only 2 nurses that went above and beyond were Marissa and Iliana who worked together one night. I wish every person there would have the work ethic and dedication they have. I came in a few weeks ago for an endoscopy and my experience was amazing next to what I experienced now. I am completely disgusted with this experience at this hospital and I hope to never come back here. What I experienced was a bunch of people who come in to get a paycheck, are busy chit chatting, are trying to rush you out when it's time to discharge, they definitely don't sanitize properly, not even after surgery did anyone come in and change the covers on my bed or the blankets. If you have no care or compassion to work around people then you shouldn't work with people.

I have had 80+ surgeries at countless hospitals and surgery centers and my experience at St. Joe's was so positive, that I hope I never have to go somewhere else for one of my procedures again! I wish I remembered all of their names, but all of the staff I encountered throughout the day really went above and beyond to make a somewhat scary and uncomfortable experience as best as it could be. Checking in at the front desk wasn't a miserable experience as it usually is at hospitals where the staff seem annoyed you are there.. Instead, I thoroughly enjoyed speaking to the lady at the desk as she explained everything I needed to know for the day and sign all my paperwork. The nurse who took me back to get changed and start the IV was just incredible. She treated me with such care and patience and really made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Then, as I went in to the OR, my anxiety began to take over and the anesthesiologist and her team as well as the other nurses/staff preparing myself and the room were just remarkable. They actually held my hand and played some relaxing music to put me at ease as I went to sleep and I remember feeling calm and ready.. A feeling I don't think I've ever experienced before surgery previously. And lastly, the terrible feeling that is almost always present when waking up in recovery was quickly replaced with appreciation when I wasn't rushed to wake up, get dressed, and get out (as many other places typically do). I wasn't feeling well and it was very difficult for me to wake up/keep my eyes open and eventually, I could see I was the last patient there for the day, but I was treated as if I had all the time in the world (even though I knew everyone wanted to get home). In summary, the out-patient center staff are simply some of the best! I understand that being a healthcare worker is stressful and "just a job" for many, but everyone I encountered that day truly made me feel that they cared about my well-being, that it mattered to them that my surgery was successful and really changed the typically negative and uncomfortable processes into an almost pleasant day.

My elderly family member is not receiving the physical therapy that she was promised during her hospitalization. The physical therapist came by when she was incapacitated, and said she would come by later. My family member kept following up with the staff to see whether the physical therapist would return. I did too. I followed up with multiple people who vowed to check on what was happening. Hours went by. We're now told that no physical therapist can come here today, because they left. I explained that I had asked about this hours prior to then leaving. They said there's nothing they can do because it's the weekend. I explained that this is not our issue, she deserves care. No luck. The lack of physical therapy is delaying her recovery. My family member says this has happened multiple times. I have also voiced concerned about the need for a cardiac assessment to multiple people, to no avail. I became so desperate that I flagged down another doctor on the floor, explaining that there were cardiac red flags, asking who we could speak to for help. The doctor said that they couldn't help my family member because she's not her patient. I said I understood this, and didn’t expect their help directly, but we needed to find a doctor or someone who would listen to us. No avail. I asked, "what happens if she winds up having a stroke?" No answer. The nurses directly treating my family member are quite kind, and I am immensely appreciative for them. But the administrative hurdles to getting care are absolutely ridiculous. I am putting, very clearly, in writing: She needs a cardiac assessment and a consultation from a cardiologist. She is a stroke risk. She is a clot risk. She has a very concerning bleeding issue. I am desperately hoping someone from the hospital sees this.

I don’t think the physicians or staff check the patient’s chart. Besides my fiancés wonderful nurses, the rest of the staff here had no idea what they were doing when they came in her room during her 3 day stay after an emergency visit for chest pain, heart syncope/ arrythmia back in February: a cardiologist, a neurologist, and a NP in cardiology. All asked questions like they never looked at her information before coming in. We were fine with briefing them at the time. I never would have realized until doing my own extensive research looking at many studies that the medication (levetiracetam or Keppra) the neurologist prescribed her was notoriously known for exacerbating arrhythmia in epileptic patients.. and he prescribed her this after diagnosing her with mild epilepsy. She took the medication for months and her health was declining. She was worse than when she had gone to the ER. We tried making an appointment with the neurologist but they said they were not taking any more patients.. after telling her to come in for a follow up. Her appointment with the cardiologist is next month. Meaning the earliest available from Feb was Sept. After studying up on arrhythmia and epilepsy I found that the leading cause of sudden death in epileptic patients is heart failure. She’s been hospitalized twice since due to her heart issues but all ER physicians tell her to breathe and drink water LOL. it seems hopeless and this has caused my fiancé to become depressed and feel neglected. All I can do is wait and pray nothing happens to her until we can get some answers from doctors that are willing to give the time and research needed for their patient.

They deserve 0 stars is the most horrible experience there. All the people there scream a be rude with all the patients. Make jokes and disrespectful everybody else. A “man” who is in the Emergency room was extremely horrible person to insult the patients there. No patient person no empathy and only drunk Red Bull all the time. To identify this man because anybody give me his name I have to describe him. Tall man, with a lot of tattoos, piercings and no educated person in ER room. He and lady that she is a nurse was terrible “professionals” This people have to be outside the hospital. Nobody have to deserve this service and after that they send a big bill with a doctors that I never saw in my life. The place look very dirty they can provide hand sanitizer, mask or other Essentials ideas. They got very angry if you ask for something. The security of the hospital is very bad. I got through a very difficult situation there. Also this evil “man” Give the wrong advice to the hospital about the patients. He is terrible element for a hospital service, discriminate people and never care about the patients. Horrible experience and terrible service. Please don’t use this service that is a extremely ugly experience and they laugh about the patients. Somebody have to send the director of the hospital to check them every day and monitory the service. People don’t lose your time and money. We have to find other options. Hospitals need to bring peace, calm and understanding for the patients.

It was the best emergency room experience I ever had!!! The man that put me into the wheelchair when I arrived was very caring! You know how to triage patients, Please teach Morton plant! I immediately was taken for ekg and lab work… I did not wait in a waiting room for 3-4 hours with chest pain before an EKG was done!! The ER was busy! The ER physician assistant was awesome very thorough! The male nurse that admitted me to the ED observation unit was also caring and thorough and very easy to talk to!! Vickie my day nurse in ED observation was a complete professional and a doll!! PJ the discharge nurse went above and beyond also! I am 71 years old and a retired nurse who served 40 years in the profession. I don’t give out rave reviews that are not warrranted! I want to also mention that the person who answered my call light never let me feel like I was a bother! I want to thank everyone that was involved in my care from the bottom of my heart!!! The care was Excellent! Please share your policies and procedures with Morton Plant as in comparison their performance is poor!!! Thank you! You restored my faith that ER triage and care can be done well and nursing care can be great!!

The ICU is horrendous. The only good thing about it is Deb the day nurse. She was the only one who took her time to care for me. The rest of the staff did not care about care here. They ignored me when I tried getting their attention. They were on their phones constantly. They were talking and laughing loudly while ignoring me. I was in the hospital for monitoring of my brain and they straight up told me they didn’t know what they were doing- the night nurse almost pulled a device straight out of my brain- if I hadn’t screamed she could’ve killed me- she didn’t even read my chart to see what she was supposed to be doing. When I was discharged my mother had to fight them for the medication I was PRESCRIBED while in the hospital. Rather than giving it via IV they sent me 300 PILLS to take home. It landed me back at another hospital with Dr.s puzzling over how this team had been so neglectful and STILL be considered a BayCare. I have no words, just DO NOT go to St. Joseph’s EVER! I am considering a lawsuit.

I am a team member at St Joes my mom had Surgery with Dr Chan for a total hip replacement. Dr Chan office is professional but also friendly at the same time. Preop testing went smooth as well as the nurses in preop treated my mom very well. Dr Chan, Jenny his PA, Dr Jiten Anesthesiologist, Chris Wilson Crna, Millie OR nurse Pilar scrub tech , Jenny scrub tech took wonderful care of my mom.. Their attention to knowledge, expertise and attention to detail set my mind at ease. I have worked side by side with this team for many years and I am honored to call them my coworkers as well as friends. The nurses in Pacu took great care of my mom and kept me up to date the whole time. She had good care on the floor and physical therapy was great with her. Samantha the coordinator helped with all our questions and followed up the day we got discharged. I am an employee of Baycare for 25 years. I am proud to bring my family to receive care from Baycare!

My first disappointment in care occurred when I was transferred from ER to my room. I arrive at approximately 8 pm in my room. I notified the floor nurse in my room that I hadn't eaten since 2p.m. since arriving in ER. I experienced a 2.5-hour wait and never received food or even water. I had to continually call the staff to please give me something I was hungry. After the 2.5 hour wait, I was given a cold tv dinner and a small cup of water. I observed in the bathroom hair in the shower, nasty floors. This was unacceptable. What happened to Baycare? What happened to the nice staff? My nurse in the morning was unprofessional and just rude. I was totally ignored. I was so disappointed in the lack of care and concern. All I can hear is the nurse screaming and yelling at the guy in the room across from me. I just can't believe that you have people like this on your staff. Unbelievable!!!

Emergency room personnel and care was wonderful, when moved upstairs, couple of nurses were wonderful, but most are rude and don't care about you and how much you are in pain. It takes them forever to come help you especially when bed ridden and need help to the bathroom. They talk down to you and they make you feel like they don't want yo help you. A new doctor came to my room and just changed the pain meds I wad getting and didn't even tell me, and I can't take that medicine. The pain regimen we talked about changing she agreed to but totally did something different. Spoke to charge nurse but basically she said there is nothing she could do. I have now been laying here crumpled in a ball for over 14 hours in severe excruciating pain, and nothing is being done, and they are not even checking on me, so they don't even care that I am crying and screaming in pain.

St. Joseph’s is the best hospital facility I have ever encountered in the U.S. I’ve been to multiple facilities throughout Tampa for ER, outpatient imaging, and post-surgical inpatient care. Everyone — scheduling, security, registration, intake, allied health professionals, nurses, PAs, and doctors — has always been professional, competent, and kind. The facilities are modern (the Baycare app and EHR are also on point), the wait times (if any) are minimal, and they generally go above and beyond for patients and visitors (thank you notes and valet parking). It is almost confusing how pleasant it is to visit St. Joseph’s and FWIW the main hospital’s cafeteria is legitimately one of my favorite places to eat. I almost enjoy having a medical issue because it means I get to go to St. Josephs, and I will be a patient here for life (so please keep keeping me alive).

Giving thanks for the blessings of excellent care that I received at Bay Care St.Joseph’s Hospital Tampa!! Dr. Elie Zayyat, my vascular surgeon, recently relocated to Tampa, from Gainesville. I came to Bay Care St. Joseph’s to be under his care. He is wise, proactive, personable and has a warm bedside manner. Dr. Zayyat, explained and discussed his plan for an angiogram, angioplasty and placement of 2nd stent. It was reassuring to see him again! I was admitted to T-602. My day nurses Beth and Amanda were phenomenal. They were kind, efficient, and took the time to care for my every need! My night nurses, Kevin and Nikki, were equally as wonderful! The techs, patient care attendants and food service teams were friendly, efficient and made sure I was well cared for. Thank you all, at St. Joseph’ s. !! Keep up the good work!! It is noticed.. You filled me with so many drugs that I felt like I should not swallow it made me crazy and I never slept a full night with the alarms. It felt like I was a prisoner for what YOU said my condition was. The food was not like anything my conditions demand. The biggest thing was not being able step out of my cell without some smarty pants nurse saying what are you doing. I was also left there when I was told by the doctors it's time to pack up and get ready to go to a place to live temporarily, but then I was told it was my HealthCare denied it. The odd thing that really happened was I got a call 4 days after I walked out from my HealthCare company who said they had places they wanted me to look at and see if they were a good place to live without the kind of trouble you put on everyone. I will never be placed in St. Joseph again.

I loved my visit / surgery experience at St Joseph’s! The entire experience from start to finish was thoughtfully curated. The valet was a great first impression and incredibly convenient. Entering the hospital felt refreshing - it was clean, and tastefully decorated with a waiting family’s comfort in mind. The staff was super warm and welcoming; I think every person we passed said hello or good morning; it made a difference. All of the nurses and doctors who visited were polite and kept me informed, and of course allowed time for questions. My surgery went smoothly, and there was a kind lady who insisted on taking me by wheelchair to the car so I didn’t even have to move a muscle to leave the building. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you to every single person who helps make St Joe’s as special as it is!!

Terrible. Just terrible. For 6 and a 1/2 hours. I was in the waiting room. Now, I'm at home. It's 2:30 AM and I'm still in the same pain that I went To be seen about.. Some of the nurses were rude, A never-ending wait time, And a lack of honesty.. Had they had been honest with me? From the beginning, I couldn't just went to another hospital and got seen about my injury. I set an a weigh in room again. Over 6 and a 1/2 hours. It was Well past 1am when I got there around 8pm, to find out that I probably was gonna have to wait another few hours. Truly acceptable. And truly subpar! I still can't believe it... And if I could've given u a 0 star, I would have... Totally wasted my time, when I could've been being treated elsewhere...Still in pain, still can't walk, still need to be seen....Smdh!!!!

Excellent in every possible respect! I thought I entered a 5 star hotel lol Paige did my pre-op appointment. She was knowledgeable, personable, professional, caring! The fabulous team the day of surgery Kyle, Jeff, Z were AMAZING! Put me at ease. So very caring!! Fun. Professional. Couldn't have asked for a better surgeon! Dr Chan is simply THE BEST!! The anesthesiologist put me at ease as well! Samantha, the navigator, professional and personable did the pre op class. She knows her stuff and relays it in an easy to follow manner. She called to follow up making sure I was OK. If there were 10 stars, I'd give all 10!! First hospital experience I would ever give this type of review whether as a patient or advocate!! Grateful to each of people I've met!!

I've disliked St. Joe on MLK for a while because they would judge u instead of helping u but today I came in after being treated like I was suicidal at the Fletcher ER because of PTSD (the Dr said.) Everyone I encountered was great including the security guard that treated me like I was visiting an inmate. Yes.... A jail.. Sherry at the front desk was a bit brash for working in an ER... but Allia, the Triage nurse, helped bring down my anxiety. Takia, from registration, was awesome. Robert, from X-ray was Awesome ..as well as the NP & his assistant. I must say, the care I received from St. Joseph on MLK today was phenomenal. You guys changed my opinion and showed me this hospital is getting better. Keep up the good work. ✌

There’s an extreme lack of information sharing going on at this hospital. The ER staff does not speak to the observatory nurses. Since being here yesterday afternoon until tonight we’ve spoken to 1 doctor despite asking several times to speak to all doctors. With the exception of the first nurse in the observatory wing they have all been short with us and unwilling to expedite any processes. When it takes 30 minutes to get Tylenol for a simple headache that’s a shame. I’ve been given the excuse several times that because this week is Thanksgiving there will be delays. This hospital should have planned better as everyday life and emergencies do not stop for a holiday. I am outraged at the service we are getting.

Worst hospital I gave ever been too. I've worked in the medical field for 10 years and I have never seen treatment like this. The RN was absolutely amazing, but the others and the provider could careless about me. In all my years I have never had a "Doctor" ask me what I wanted to do. I went in there with fever, throat pain, uncontrollable shivering, headache, body aches, ect. I think that's something a "Doctor" should figure out. Now today the day after I will be going to a better hospital, to do the blood work and tests they should've done. As I've woken up with retaining fluids and hardly able to talk because my throat hurts so bad and I cant handle the body aches. Do better ST JOSEPHS HOSPITAL

I would like to take the time out to recognize Alex in the Adult Infusion Center at St. Joe's hospital on Habana in Tampa Florida. I have been going here for over 2 yrs. probably close to 3 yrs. now and he is such a wonderful person. He is also so attentive and pleasant. I look forward to seeing him every 6 weeks for my standing appointment there. He makes me feel so cared for and his concern and bed side manner is like no other. He should get a raise and more vacation time cause he deserves it. He exemplifies what GREAT people are like in this tough world we live in. God bless you Alex. Thank you for everything always. The most horrible service in the world. This hospital has the worst service and the people there are very rude. They don't respect the patients and then send bills for service that I never received. People without principles, ethics or morals. It is the biggest corruption in this country. Making money from sick and innocent people is a crime. They abuse a power they don't have just to make money. With the level of corruption in this hospital it is very easy to make money in this country. Cruelty and manipulation by the entire hospital and ER room. what a shame of hospital and the police of this country. People try to find better options and don’t use this horrible “Hospital”

All the services provided were extremely satisfactory, and an Awesome job was done by all the Doctors, nurses, and other staff. They all were so caring and knowledgeable and they transferred all of the knowledge which is necessary and must required by all new parents for their new born baby. We are very glad to have chosen St. Joseph Women's Hospital for our baby's delivery. We would love to be going there for our next baby's delivery as well. The nurse, Weatherly, seemed very inexperienced when asked to take blood and start an IV. After finding another newer nurse, Vera, they were able to get the blood but not start an iv. The PA, Sutton, made me feel like I was just a number. After being dx with pancreatic cancer in 2019, any pain in my stomach or back scares me. My pain tolerance is high but without an iv, I had to take oral meds which took awhile to touch the pain. Thankfully, I didn't have pneumonia or anything going on with the cancer. I was a medic in the military and I'm not expecting a grand gesture but at least treat patients like people, not an assembly line.

Re-posting prior post which was removed: My father was a stable patient being monitored overnight at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa when he started choking while eating dinner in his hospital bed. After 10 or 15 minutes of distress as the nursing staff tried unsuccessfully to help clear his throat, he passed out. The hospital was unable to resuscitate him. What a tragedy that a great man entrusted his care to this hospital that evening and suffered such a fate. His sudden and unexpected death under such circumstances causes me to recommend avoiding this hospital unless you have no option.

The nurses and staff at the hospital was EXCELLENT. The communication on the procedure was poor. I visited, called, left messages. Everyone said I would be contacted as I needed to know what preparation was needed and contact someone to drive and pick me up. Times, location etc. Someone called at 6;00 pm the day before the procedure and went over my history and needs. The process is the worst I have had with St Josephs. This never happened in the past. Once I was in the hospital the Nurses and admissions were cordial. competent and extremely good!

Considering it wasn't a good moment for me, my experience was good. The ER was chaotic, which it would be, but the nurses would forget to follow up or they assumed someone else had taken care of it. For example, I had to give aa sample of urine but it sat there until someone said, oh yeah, they want this. I was admitted and the care nurse, Lizabet, was exceptional. She was was caring, warm, and funny. Overall I was happy with the experience. I understand nurses have a hard job and I think they did well. My room was clean and the food was decent.

very rude staff specifically towards elderly people. they let patients sit in rooms even when patients have an emergency and press the call button waiting for long time without going to help them. will be sure my family never goes to this hospital again. even the nurse managers are rude have no care whatsoever for patients . my 84 year old family member was treated with so much disrespect and they would not even let her husband be there to help her out even if she depends on his help all day.

They make you pay up front even when you have health insurance. Then, they make you beg and wait for a refund because your insurance covered the procedure. And instead of just putting the credit back on your credit card, they send a check in the postal mail - NOT secure and makes a lot of hassle and stress for people who are trying to recover from a procedure. They also violated my privacy by talking to a family member about my procedure without my permission.

Yesterday, I was scheduled for outpatient surgery. I arrived at 9:19 and was advised to be there at 9:45. I signed the check in sheet at 9:19am. Waited patiently to be called. Apparently, the person at the desk told the surgical staff that I was not there. Then, the staff called my husband who told them he dropped me off. The person at the desk stood up and called at my name. My reply was " I have been here since9 :19.. No complaints about other staff.

Josh in triage is a certified lifesaver. I try to avoid going to the hospital as much as I can but Josh (and other staff) made this experience very easy for me and were there for me during a very difficult time. Josh worked tirelessly to have me assessed by a provider in the ER and I left with my symptoms resolved and feeling a lot better. The kindness and caring was beyond anything I could have ever hoped for, it was just an amazing experience during a very terrifying time in my life. They accepted me and my husband like family. Endoscopic procedure for my 10 year old was nerve wrecking enough, however the medical staff, from check in, to prep, to the procedure itself, were prompt, patient, polite, personable. All the P's lol. Gave me peace of mind and I was able to be at ease during the process. It was so quick and efficient and my daughter's recovery time felt like no time at all. Staff was terrific, but hospital beds in Cardiac Care Unit are horrible. I had to lay on my back for hours to prevent bleeding with absolutely no lumbar support whatsoever. The nurses helped me with a pillow under my lower back, but it wasn't effective at alleviating my pain. The mattresses are too thin for comfort as well. My ablation was easy and less painful than my time in recovery. PLEASE GET BETTER BEDS!

I had a hole in my hand and all they did was have a nurse come in clean the wound numb it and gave me stitches and gave me a prescription for antibiotics and that's it. I never seen a doctor. They did not check to see if I had any muscles or nerves in my hand. And also I had to deal with the pain for 3 days straight before I could see my doctor because they did not prescribe me or give me any pain medication

My dad came to the ER from a near fall that hurt his leg badly. Everyone was amazing Annie our nurse and Rebecca the PST that helped us. Our Dr. Meagan and the other doc that came in and did a 2nd assessment just to be sure what to do for him. And when we left another tech helped us get dad into the car and I was SO thankful. Maybe this hospitals worth a damn, I don't know. I was asked to pay 2k upfront for a surgery that was postponed. I was charged 1k for services. No one knows when Ill get a refund. Shameful process. Shameful business. This whole area's hospital network is garbage made worse by people who don't have the bandwidth or resources to do a good job.

My experience was very good the entire nursing staff was very caring and supportive of me. The doctor took time to explain my symptoms and my treatment plan. The only thing that wasn’t good was the food from dietary. The hot food was delivered cold. There wasn’t any care given to presentation. I believe the entire menu needs an overhaul.

After a 2-1/2 wait, found out clerk at registration did not enter name in order to be called. Checked with front desk after 1-1/2 hr later wondering why we weren’t called. Registration finally called and an hour later we finally got to radiology for a CT. Took 15 minutes to administer. Left hospital at 2:30. Not happy.

Probably the worse organized hospital I’ve ever walked into (finally). Poor information desks, inadequate signs, and a women on a desk in a surgery center couldn’t speak good English-bless her heart. The only good thing I encountered was the shuttle service, which I might add, is badly needed.
