This review is specifically about the food - I really wouldn't recommend having dinner here. Our food was about 20-25 minutes late (we were scheduled to eat at 9). We were a large group but there was only one waitress working, she could only bring out two burgers at a time, and there were gaps of several minutes in between bringing out some people's burgers - so a lot of us were still waiting while other people were tucking in. It got worse when my burger (the Unicorn) came, because it was cool in temperature and so had clearly been sitting for ages waiting to be collected. It was also missing half the ingredients listed on the menu. To the credit of Strike, they arranged to have the missing ingredients brought out in extra dishes, but they gave the odd excuse of "our chefs aren't used to the new menu" even though I'd seen the burger on the menu a month before and I can't imagine I was the first person to order it. I didn't send my cooled-down burger back as I was so, so hungry by that point. Finally, the chips were soggy; a few were even quite chewy/undercooked. The menu specifically says "we don't do soggy chips". If you're going to say that, then actually get the chips right.

It was a Sunday night. Experience was good but there were two areas that we didn’t like. Firstly we paid 12.5% on top for drinks that we went to the bar to order, collect and pay for. Secondly we ordered puddings and with the brownie there was ice cream included. We were asked if we wanted ice cream. We said yes. We were then charged extra for extra ice cream. In the latter situation the manager credited us. In the former situation we were advised that we didn’t have to pay it (but we aren’t given a choice either). I know leisure venues and their teams have had a torrid time of late but overcharging won’t bring us back into the venue in the future. You’re on a one trick pony!

A family outing that was a hit with all ages from 4-70. We were there early, around midday, so fairly quiet, which suited us, can't say how busy it gets in the evenings. Loved the décor and atmosphere. Played an adult game upstairs first with the youngsters able to have a go using the 'chutes'. Then we had a drink downstairs before trying the lighter, smaller balls and lanes where the girls could participate more. A different activity for some of us and really good fun. If you are looking for something inclusive that all ages can enjoy I would strongly recommend this venue.

This place is a joke. I booked with them clearly shown on my email that the date was a typo and was meant to be booked for the day after. Apparently I was speaking to the manager and she wasn’t accommodating at all; was rude and wouldn’t even give me a refund for the £34.95 that I spent. I wasn’t even offered a voucher or a different day to come I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone they just rob your money and can’t even refund peoples money especially if they didn’t even play. Customer service is appalling

Not happy about the booking service. Due to number of kids over online booking limits, I emailed Strike to book kids party a month after, I emailed back to Strike the prefer time slot and ready to pay at noon time, no reply the whole afternoon, I chased again next day in the morning, by noon, I was been told that the space/slot were taken and till 2 months after. I am so ready to pay and waiting for this such disappointed reply. No response over 1 day time and no action booking chosen slot till chase.

Amazing atmosphere. Very comfortable sits and nice customer service. Btw we didn't know that you have to book the place to come and play bowling & receptionist was telling us that we can't come just like that from the street(because we have to book in advance as it's very busy), but after few "please" she allowed us to enter - the place was completely empty, and the staff was more than excited to see at least us as a customers Overall experience was good and would probably recommend to friends

Had a fantastic time bowling with my nieces. The venue is clean, well set out, decor / interior design is great, plus it's a listed building so a lot of original features on show - beautiful! The snack-y food we had was yummy, niece loved the chips, I loved the onion rings. Big shout out to Nicole for being so attentive and willing to assist - quick and professional. Will keep this place in mind next time I go out with friends. Thanks to the team at Strike!

Went with my wife and 2 boys (9 and 7) today for bowling, darts and lunch. We arrived slightly late, but it wasn’t an issue for the team who shuffled around our bookings so we didn’t miss out on anything. Boys first time on the darts board which they really enjoyed. Food was great. Fresh and tasty. Really nice coffee too. The whole place was well kept and clean. We all had a great time. Definitely be back again soon.

Mother's Day family visit. Bowling, darts and shuffleboard. Bowling lanes seemed shorter than normal which suited our kids. Darts was great fun but seen more interactive boards elsewhere. Shuffleboard was not electronic as I thought so not as engaging for us. Food was exceptional though! Nachos and chicken strips x2 (we had to have more!). Plus, one dish was free (and a glass of wine) for my wife on Mother's Day.

A great atmosphere and a good choice of things to play and do. Eileen was an absolute star and was so kind to me and the group I was with. It was her second day working there but she was absolutely amazing and we will definitely be returning soon! We played tenpin bowling upstairs as well as a last minute darts game which we all really enjoyed. Highly recommend coming here!

My boyfriend and I have been here many times and each time was so fun. The staff are lovely especially Sushui who is very social and hospitable. We have played darts a few times while here and we both are competitive so it was loads of fun. Would highly recommend anyone to visit while in the area, even if it’s just for a quick drink and game at the end of the night.

Had an amazing time tonight for my partners 23rd Birthday. We came with a few friends and we were made to feel so welcomed! Kelly and Louis (I hope I spelt her name right) made us feel so comfortable plus another lady who gave my partner a beer on the house for his but I didn’t catch her name unfortunately. We will be coming again soon. Is definitely worth a visit!

Strike is a whole lotta fun! We loved the retro theme to the venue, great food and good bar selection. Service was fantastic - we appreciated our host finding the next available slot giving us the full allotted time on the alley. A game for 2 worked out £1 per minute which feels a little on the expensive side, but we came away happy we visited!

I love this place! The decor is gorgeous, the drinks and the food is superb and they’re open till late and the staff is amazing and so friendly. Especially Sindy! She is just the most amazing, the friendliest, the kindest person ever and she makes the meanest and the best cocktails ever!!! Period. Sindy is awesome!

Just had our son’s birthday party at Strike and kids (and adults) had a great time! Kelly was fantastic in helping out with the organisation, getting drinks and food etc. Food was also great, happily surprised! Just one suggestion for future kids’ parties: it’d be good to have lighter balls for the younger ones.

This place is a real gem! Really great if you want to just chill and unwind after a long week at work. John Ray behind the bar is an absolute magician, you won't find a better bartender. He really made my visit worth while with his hospitality and customer service. I highly recommend that you visit the place.

Thank you to the staff as we hosted our kids birthday party here with some bowling. Great set up with tables nearby, friendly staff despite full on kids(!), nice sized lanes, cool graphics on the screens. Might just need a few more balls in size S / weight 8.

If you're looking for a slightly classier bowling experience than at Hollywood Bowl/Tenpin, then look no further. The four lanes upstairs are well maintained and there was a good atmosphere on a Saturday evening. There are other activities downstairs as well.

We had a great time here, there was no room on the ten pin bowling so we went for duck pin bowling. The atmosphere was amazing. The drinks were good, usual London prices . and the food was nice enough, the vegan burger was a bit on the boring side.

It was amazing, I didn't go upstairs but I played the minibowling at the ground floor and I also tried the social darts. The staff was super friendly and the cocktails tasted really good. Next time, I'll definitely try the bowling alleys upstairs!

We went to Strike on Sunday and had a great time. The staff behind the counter and bar were very friendly and helpful (we even got a few song requests!), and the overall experience was good fun!

I would rate it zero if I could! Complete rip off. Bowling sessions should be per hour and not per game. If you weren’t a group it’s not worth it, we finished our game in less than 15 mins.

Staff aren’t particularly keen to help nor friendly despite them suggesting we’d booked the wrong times, email confirmations showed otherwise. Bowling alley is dysfunctional.
