I live a couple blocks from here and walk my dog past pretty often. I moved here in June & immediately noticed that there were a ton of cars here at all times, & a busy carwash is a good car wash-Especially considering the size, this place is tiny. They definitely work with what they have and I’ve sat and watch the cars go through the process and they are very thorough very careful and I honestly don’t know how they make enough money doing what they’re doing, tips probably are a huge factor because these guys are legit! The price list is posted and I will take a picture and add it to this post as soon as possible but for example,A small car like a Honda Civic- if you wanted a hand wash& dry it’s $10, interior hand vacuum is $5 or you get a package deal for like $30 bucks that includes a lot more, tires & all that jazz. These prices are insane if you have ever been to one of those car genie/breaking bad chain carwashes that charges you nothing under $100 to do a minor “detail”- (a detail being vacuuming, wiping down the dash & what not and cleaning the windows inside/out)...I see the Genie Carwash on Groupon from time to time and something like the $30 package here will be on SALE for $89 on Groupon. I’ve never seen idea how package for less than $100 though, it just doesn’t happen at those places. So try this place out for sure, I will post a price list next time I walk by. And I’ll definitely be stopping in next time I get paid! TIP: 24 hr vacuum available outside of carwash building. $2 in quarters (no coin machine) but it last forever and is hella strong!! I've found my new go-to car wash! As a self proclaimed value hunter, I look for substance over style and this place did not disappoint. It's everything I want in a car wash. - Hard working entrepreneurs who value your business and do a good job - A fair and up front pricing system: a basic wash starts at $10 and you can choose from a list of adds-ons (wax, vacuum, interior wipe, etc) for $5-10 each to suit your needs, budget and schedule - A no frills atmosphere so you know you aren't paying for overhead :) - A short walk to Epoch so you can get coffee while you wait!

I needed gas and a car wash so I thought I’d try Suds after filling up at the Texaco (they share a lot). There were about 5 cars in front of mine and I sat in a padded chair in the shade! It took about 25-30 minutes for a full wash, vacuum, and tire detail ($25 total). Excellent service and there were plenty of individuals working who were friendly and positive. There is also a taco stand in the same lot as well. I will most certainly return for their services because I am overall happy with my experience and how well of a job they all did!

Awesome awesome awesome! We live next door at the Camden and decided to drop off our cars for their first wash since COVID started (they were filthy inside and out) - These people took wonderful care of us! Their prices are amazing, $35 for my sedan and $55 for our SUV, which includes wash, windows, interior wipe-down, and vacuuming. It looks like we paid to have them detailed! They do such an awesome job, if you live in the area and need a carwash definitely stop by here!

Amazing car wash all done by hand for a super reasonable price! The guy who runs the spot is always super friendly and they work fast. My car is usually done within 20 minutes once they get started. The price list can be a little confusing because they charge per service but the back of the price list has packages. I usually do the simple package without any wax service and my car is stunning afterward. They do a great job on the interior as well.

They were friendly and quick. However, they use the same wash mitt for the entire car without rinsing it out between panels or top to bottom. They also clean from the bottom up. I was kind of disappointed to see that a hand car wash was probably just as bad as an automatic in terms of scratching the paint etc. Then again, it was pretty cheap—you get what you pay for. My car was pretty clean overall.

Absolutely 100% the best hand wash around town - family run business out there busting ass every day this family deserves way more than 5 stars. Reasonable prices, very nice, friendly, hard working people that take care of their customers. Be sure to tip big, they deserve it! Will always come back here for any car wash/detailing service. These guys do an amazing job. I took a Toyota tundra to them that had literally just made the drive to Austin from Colorado and a couple hours later they had it in showroom condition. The place looks pretty rundown, they do operate out of an old car wash at a Texaco station but they do a great job for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

Car not cleaned to satisfaction. Stated it was cleaner than it was. Mind you I asked for everything on the menu and kept asking to do whatever services it needed. At the end after I expressed dissatisfaction,I was informed the car needed detailing... for them to use the air compressor. Why wasn't that quoted and completed... I have no idea.

I expected more from reading all these reviews. They did an average job throughout the car. Left lots of dirt on the roof and some other noticeable spots and several key places inside the car. Paid for the inside vacuum and didnt do a good job on the mats. Only removed the front and not the back. I'll not go back.

Great service, courteous, and quick. I am very meticulous about the my truck. Have tried Arbor Hand Wash, was a Karma Car Wash regular. Suds is better and faster. No fluff or frills, just a good wash job. They did great inside and out. Exceeded expectations. Will be back.

Super dissapointed. I took my small car there yesterday and they didn’t washed outside it was patchy and still dirty the doors. The glass windows looks patchy like someone has drop cleaner and didn’t finished the job. Worst car washing I have ever been

Update! I only trust Subs to get the best clean for my car. Awesome people, get the job done. Pretty affordable too. About the same you'd be paying with quarters at a self wash you pay here but they have an amazing touch:) totally recommend!

I will never go to another car wash in Austin. Family owned and operated. They are amazing! They usually have lines which indicates that they are excellent at that they do. Worth the wait. Very nice people as well. Definitely recommend!

Quick and easy and great. Great value for your buck. Unfortunately my car had sap and poop marks that are gonna need a more detailed job however the cleaning guys are Suds are amazing. And there is a covered seating area to wait.

I have been to many different car wash or quick detail places and this one is by far the best. High quality work, no left on dirt, and even pointed out several areas that could be fixed without trying to push it on me.

They cleaned my depression pit no problem. For 130. I dropped a 20 dollar tip because I was impressed and saved me from paying a steam cleaner 250. Some kind of dark magic they do here. Thanks yall

Was really excited to come here but showed up at 10 am on a Thursday and no one was there! Tried calling as well and went straight to voicemail. Giving a 3 for a neutral rating meant to warn!

Suds is quick and affordable. It's not a complete detail, but you can get a good hand wash, tire cleaning, vacuum, interior wipe, and window cleaning for about $40 for a small car.
