update: Their best is the tapioca cheese buns, try them! Hot and fresh but just too salty. Anyways I didn’t try the sweet bread again, my first experience like below: having diarrhea after eating 2 of those sweet little breads....... Wasn’t expecting a whole lot from this bakery but still disappointed. I dropped in on a Tuesday morning 10am, the sweet bread already gone stale. They have traditional Brazilian small bites, maybe it would be better trying those. The soft breads just gone dry and the flour tasted oxidized, if you buy them home you have to steam them, baking them in the oven would make them crispy and dry. I guess that was caused by displaying bread in a heated shelf, so the bread gone dry. Next time my advice would be increase the humidity in the box storing those bread, to keep them close to the moist when they’re freshly baked. Ordered a latte as well, because staff was pleasant and friendly. However the beans tasted below mediocre, just bitter, no aroma, would recommend the insomnia next door for better drink... I heard the owner said they’re selling a huge amount of goods, business running well. Good luck afterwards.

I had an amazing experience at the SugarLoaf Bakery here in Ireland! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a delicious smell of freshly baked bread. The variety of available products is impressive - from traditional Brazilian breads like pão de queijo and pão francês, to delicious desserts like brigadeiros and beijinhos. The quality of the products is excellent - everything looks fresh and made with high-quality ingredients. The breads are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the desserts are perfectly sweet. The service was also excellent - the staff were friendly and helpful, giving me recommendations on what to try. The bakery has a welcoming and cozy atmosphere, and is a great place to sit and enjoy a coffee and a pastry. Overall, I highly recommend the SugarLoaf Bakery in Ireland - if you're looking for an authentic experience of Brazilian breads and delicious desserts, this is definitely the place to go!

My go to bakery when I have people over or when I'm having a bad day and want a treat to cheer myself up. The staff is so lovely and always willing to explain what each thing is, and the food is just downright gorgeous, not only by the looks but the flavour. Im obsessed with this sweet bread they have with custard and coconut shavings, so delicious. They also have savoury stuff which is delicious as well. They used to have more vegetarian savory foods before but unfortunately not so much anymore, like the heart palm tart, I miss it everyday

I visited this establishment a few weeks ago and I was appalled by the high prices and poor quality. I'd feel ashamed to bring my non-Brazilian friends to this place, but on second thought they might have a glimpse of what a "Banheiro de Rodoviária" is like. I hope this time the pictures of the "nearly all dough" coxinha and the dreadfully looking single bathroom available don't disappear. If the bathroom that the clients see looks like this, I can only fear for the areas we cannot see.

I believe that the place can be better! It’s not a cozy place to spend time with friends or just chilling, drinking a coffee or eating something! I avoid to get some stuff because it’s overpriced, like some breads and cakes.

Exceptionally good at what they do here. The beef croquet is one of the nicest things I've ever eaten. Staff friendly and courteous and honest. The girl who tended to me called me back as she had short changed me by some small change. If your knocking around Dorset Street it's great spot for food and the treat section looks fantastic. Will try that out next time .

Best pão de queijo in Dublin, hands down. I think another great quality of this cafe is staff: they're friendly, attentive and very welcoming. Please, DO NOT EVER LOOSE this important characteristic: costumer servise. Oh, bolo de milho and cenoura and the infamous pãozinho francês are simply too good. SugarLoaf, keep it up!

  • Aymen Qureshi

My husband and I tried Brazilian dessert for the first time! This bakery had the most delicious desserts ever! I got the dulce de leche flavor and my husband got coconut flavor. I dont remember what the dessert was called! One of our favorite bakeries in Dublin! Will be coming back very soon! Lovely staff as well …

It's the best Brazilian bakery in Dublin, every food that I already had there tastes good, the black little coffee is perfect, plus the attendants are pretty kind, I fully recommend.... the bad points in my opinion are the high prices, and they're French bread is absolutely dry and burnt for my taste.

  • Norah O'Reilly

Found this gem purely by chance. Brazilian-owned, this eatery offers Brazilian sweet and savoury pastries and other baked goods. Great coffee, lovely staff, I've already advised my colleagues to check it out, so, if you're in the Dorset Street/North Circular Road area, definitely check them out.

  • Austin Rock

Unusual pastry offers here. Nice savouries (as opposed to sweetness). Quite delicious, really affordable and wonderful coffee from Java Republic. I also like the late openibg, so hard to get good coffee after 6pm. Btw they also do delicioys breakfast, lunch and dinners. Worth checking out.

Bringing me back to my childhood, even 9000km away from home. ❤️ This is exactly what grandma brought me when visiting us every week. Soft and fresh breads, Brazilian style, there's nothing similar in Ireland. Would be amazing if we had a SugarLoaf in South Dublin!

  • Debora Azevedo

The coxinha with cheddar was very good. They could have a changing table for babies.

The first time I went, I was not impressed because there was not much left, no bags and I had to do a bank transfer as no card machine...but the brioche was nice. But it was just opened so probably not entirely ready. So I gave it a second
