I just LoOoK'd at oNe of the post on here iT was 7 months ago ... And i would say up until a WK ago i would of said the same thing about the place ...BUT THE NEW MANAGER ...which just came on duty and rudely yelled at Me instead of walk'n up to a frequent customer THAT would of recommend this establishment but since she has beEen work'n here everyone seEems to be worried if she shows up and or seEems to be warning all of us about her (and i only know this by when her employees started Say'n 'well if My Boss was here...blank blank blank" which to Me is not a good sign... I would come this way to get fuel ice or other provisions and i had done this a.m... She tells Me not even "HELLO BUT "YOU HAVE TO MOVE YOUR TRICK 1ST OF ALL iTs a Van and why if i am cleaning my windows after put'n fuel ... I understand about Lottery ...( I Believe cause of My groOovy Van she was judging Me and this myk'n whatever she was THiNk'n and seEems to Me iT was cause i was a woman in a van ... but i was using the window station had used the time to take my drive thru things i had for breakfest WAS go',! n to use the bathroom but i feel i was rushed away from your GAS STATION THAT I USE TO MAKE A POINT OF COMING TO BUT NoW will think twice and LET OTHERS KNOW SHE WORKS THERE NOW ... I WOULDNT GIVE THIS PLACE ANY BUSINESS NOR THINK YOUR GOING TO BE APPRECIATED & RESPECTED ... SHE COULDNT even tell Me WHY I HAD TO MOVE MY VAN ...SHE just gave Me a discussed LoOoK and said you Have to Move your Van ...

Horrible customer service! The cashier claimed to be the manager shortened me $5 from change and refused to look into the matter for me and told me I was wrong I tried my best to stay professional after already having a stressful morning when I asked her for her name and phone number and she initially refused but eventually gave me the phone number to the store however still refused to give me her name only stating it was “manager”. This little visit to the gas station was a very horrible experience not only did I loose out on $5.00 but I was put in a very unprofessional humiliating experience with a women who states she was a manager. I’m sorry for anyone that has to go through this person to attempt to get anything solved!

This place is my go to! They always have oldies playing spreading that positive vibe and the employees are always so friendly and helpful. Always a good experience. As for the other reviews.The gas is cheaper than most places, you do NOT get charged a fee for debit and as for paying inside, they are puting in new pumps to upgrade and make this place better for their customers.They are staying open through the remodellng of the pumps so you still have access to fill your tank instead of just closing down and having nothing. People get so frustrated because the changes they are making to make things better is inconvenient for you. Walk your lazy butt inside to pay and say hi to a smiling face.

I only ever go after I get off my closing shift at a store nearby so I can't speak to the morning or evening rush but worth getting cash out for their prices. Usually reasonably clean, usually no wait to pay, quick and easy and cheap gas station experience. Some comparable gas stations are actually difficult to enter/exit due to their location, but Summit being near the entrance to the Sports Arena means a nice big 3 lane entrance at an intersection with a light, so convenient from every direction.

clean areas, friendly staff, wheelchair accessible --I can reach gas pumps from wheelchair and their entry has a wide small incline curb cut to get inside store. Wide aisles to shop for snacks and stuff. AND my wheelchair converted minivan with lowered floor fits in their car wash because there is just smooth pavement to drive on ( no tire guide rails). And they usually have good music playing outside at the pumps. Pretty good prices compared to other gas stations.

Cheapest gas around, plus they have the best diesel prices in SD. I like this place because its near Home Depot and lots of shopping so you can get multiple things done and put gas. They have propane too. Disposable gloves to put on for when you put gas, sanitizer for your hands, spray to wash off bird poop and spiders. Extra long squeegees for rvs and trucks. Convenient store inside, lottery tickets and cool music for when youre pumping gas. Car wash also.

Note: As of writing this review, this place is under construction but open while they finish the second half of their pumps. Their cash price for gas is probably the best deal you're going to find in a 5 mile radius. If you're using card, it's still a deal, just not as good. They also have great deals inside on drinks and snacks. I had an issue getting a card to work and a employee came out to help without me having to ask which I thought was very nice.

This gas station is by far the best gas station in town hands feet and cheeks down!!!! I love the whole crew but the two that always and I mean always give me 100 percent welcoming feeling are and excuse me for this because I don't know their names but a close shaved Hispanic male kinda on the tall side... and my girl who is a sistah who is always in good spirits! I live in El cajon and sometimes I come here JUST for the experience all over again

They have reasonable prices for gas and desiel and the staff at the Sports Arena station are very nice. However they do not differenciate the price of cash/debt-credit except in a small area of the on street sign. Seems they use a "bate & switch" philosophy to get you to pay a lot more! No mention of the cash vs debt/credit price on the pumps. No mention at the register either. Paid $.40/gallon more because of this. Not going to be fooled again!

It's getting better. Summit has great prices, but... Traffic is hectic during Sports arena events. They are trying to welcome boaters (who frequently take on 100 gallons at a time) and doing well with incentives, but it's not easy getting in and out. Prices for food are typical for a convenience store. Staff are a bit gruff. Feel free to ask them to turn down the music on the outside speakers. They are uncomfortably loud.

It has great prices if you have cash. I saw it saying 4.17 so I pulled in. Using a debt/CC the price goes from 4.17 to 4.47. Usually if you use your debt card it maybe 10 cents more, but here it is a 30 cent hike. I still do not like that I use my debt and still pay the CC price, but that is at every gas station, but a 30 cent hike is not the same as other gas stations

Wherever you go when they say "cash price" you never know until you get there if that includes debit card or not. This gas station does NOT include debit card as cash . If you use debit card, you pay credit card price which is $0.30 cents more per gallon. So to reiterate, cash price here literally means cash price (December 2021, cash price is $4.29 /gal).

love the music, the gas prices are some of the lowest in town if you pay cash. they let you use the restroom, have air and water, vacuums and an ATM. squeegees for cars and trucks with paper towels, soap and hand sanitizer. I really appreciate this gas station offering all the things one would need to keep their car running safely and on a budget.

I've been getting gas here for almost 40 years. Then BP sold it to someone else. It looks pretty and they've upgraded a lot of the machinery but the prices on snacks and smokes went way up. And the woman manager is a maniac needs another career choice. She is abusive and wrong. I avoid going here anymore and sorely miss the old AMPM.

This gas station is always busy, but I’ve never not been able to find a pump. The touchless car wash is great when it’s working. Because of the swap meet nearby, there are a lot of homeless drifter looking people around. This is a great place to get air in your tires because they have an automated air pump.

I go there every morning for a small thermos of hot water with no problem, then today I get there and the boy at register says he wants to charge me for hot water. I could understand if I used a cup. But I brought mine. Are they that hard up to have to charge for such a thing.

They charge you credit card price for debit card...wowwwww .40 extra per gallon. What a scam. Update; the employees know that it’s illegal to do this and have told the owner. He doesn’t car apparently. They hid themselves on the BBB so you can’t do anything but sue them.

Cheapest gas in town $3.99 a gallon with cash. Friendly crew here and rarely a line to get gas. Feel like Im contributing to a local gas station instead of the big expensive ones. I mean, really? $4.79 and more per gallon......other rip off stations.

Pump gas to the sounds of the oldies or rock 'n roll. Large gas station with spacious pump distance between cars. An RV could comfortably be at a pump and another car. If you pay in cash you save a .25 a gallon. This was the cheapest within

This used to be a good station but it’s falling apart. The screens on the pumps have dead pixels, there aren’t any squeegees, sometimes the receipts don’t print and the gas station is under construction. Might one to give this place a pass.

Gas prices crazy (but they are everywhere) always has firewood for bonfires for $6 a bundle and if you buy a few bundles you get a free small bag of ice. Not a bad deal. And their location to the bonfire areas males it very convenient.

Lowest price gas! Clean open not conjested store! Plenty of car cleaning and vacuum areas! GREAT CARWASH! Plus they have long stick window cleaning brushes so you don't have to crawl onto your vehicle to clean the whole windshield!

Absolutely the savior of economy in Point Loma when you can save $.40 a gallon because you pay cash, that helps counteract the Biden Nathan Fletcher nightmare that we have experienced in California and specifically San Diego

This station has the best price for regular gas if you pay cash. Research the prices. Summit's cash price for regular gas is 30 to 50 cents a gallon cheaper than any station near by. Cheaper than Costco. Worth the trip.

Took my brand new truck through the car wash and came out with multiple scratches. Talked to the manager Bob who took my information and said they would get a detailer on it most likely. Have yet to receive any info.

In san Diego they have the best prices on gas when you pay cash. Same prices as cotsco with out the waiting lines. It works when you are around the neighborhood. Also they have good products to eat or snacks to go.

Great had station for boaters and fisherman. All kinds of discounts with fuel purchase, including discount bait (live and frozen), free ice, free coffee, and other discounts.

Fast service! Every time there is a line a cashier will come out. I wish the coffee station had more options but given the location (homeless) they can't. Feels like a Pilot.

Watch the direction you drive in. Cars come at you from all sorts of lanes. Should have more clearly marked directions to navigate traffic to avoid potential collisions

Gas takes FOREVER to come out. I used my debit card (which is equivalent to cash) and it still charged me the “credit” rate instead of cash rate.
