Good people. Great service. But high prices. Might as well go to a dealership and get OEM parts. To elaborate I just brought my company’s work van in (2012 ford transit connect). It was overheating. They diagnosed the issues and another nonrelated throttle body issue I mentioned. Each diagnostic test was $99.99 or about $200 which is what most dealerships charge for a full multipoint inspection of the entire vehicle which is usually deducted out of the cost of the repairs if you get them done there making it essentially included at no extra cost. They told me it needs a radiator and thermostat which I expected and a thermostat outlet and throttle body. The total cost for those repairs was going to be $2250 before tax with about $1000 in labor and $1150 in parts. The parts are aftermarket not OEM but they are warrantied when purchased and installed through Sun Auto which is good but I tend to lean against aftermarket when It comes to cooling system parts especially because I’ve had aftermarket radiators fail and things like the thermostat and the thermostat outlet they are usually partially or entirely made out of plastic as opposed to metal making them more likely to need replacing if your car overheats a little when you might just need to add coolant to your reservoir. I’m going to save my boss some money and make myself some money and do the repairs for the vehicle myself with my friend who used to work at that Sun Auto and use OEM parts. Like I said nothing wrong with the service I got the people were more than super polite. I just feel like for that much you might as well go to the dealership and get OEM parts for the same price or slightly more and everything will still be warrantied.

December 2022- I took my car in for an Oil Change. ( BTW I have had previously several other auto repair services there especially when Gino and Eddie were there.) As usual they checked my Fluids and stated that I needed a brake fluid exchange AND power steering fluid change, When I was informed of the above “needs” for my vehicle I told them that I had just had a Brake fluid change in December 2021 and I had the ppwk to prove it- so why would I need one so soon? The reply of the young one behind the.counter snickered and said ,” my bad”. But you still need the Power Steering fluid changed and then he went on to explain all the things that could get worse if I don’t!! Wow! I believe he’s trying to use scare tactics on this female customer. Needless to say I never received an apology for saying I needed that brake fluid exchanged. So now I’m beginning to really wonder if my vehicle needed all the other previous work they claimed it did. I trusted them. But NOT ANYMORE. I’m sorry, but with those types of ill -mannered employees @ Sun AutoI, I surely DO NOT feel confident In leaving my car there anymore. Not even for an oil change. What happened to GOOD, RELIABLE, TRUSTWORTHY service It USE to be there. But not since Gino and Eddie left that location. CAUTION ⛔️ don’t believe everything theses people say your vehicle needs. RUN.

Several weeks ago my driver side passenger tired went flat. I called AAA and they put a spare tire on. Since I was working from home, it wasn’t an urgent need to have the tire replaced, as I had already set up an appointment with the Autocenter at Walmart to get four (4) brand new tires installed. Fast forward to Saturday, January 14th, 2023, I went to have the car serviced at Walmart, only for them to tell me they couldn’t remove the spare for fear of damaging it. Apparently, the stud had a cross thread and they didn’t wanna be held accountable. After calling around to several places, I reached Aaron at Sun Auto Service. He knew exactly what I needed to have done. The service was quick, painless, and best of all, he didn’t charge me to fix it. I was totally expecting to pay and didn’t mind doing so. Boy did this Team really save my backside today. I arrived less than two hours to closing time with a broken water pump. I explained to William and Chad at the front desk how I just received a promotion at work, and start my new position on Monday morning. I don’t think anyone wants to arrive late on their first day of ANYTHING due to car trouble. The Team was very understanding of my situation. With it being so close to closing time, they all worked together and kicked it in to high gear to make sure I went home with my truck TODAY. Got up early to go get our tags. Dead battery. Jumped it. Got tags. Jumped it again. Googled batteries. Turned out Sun Auto was a half mile from our home. Miss Tammie helped us pick a battery suitable for our car. Also need an oil change. They checked our brake fluid and was pretty bad. Got some new brakes and cleaned out the dirty fluid. Didn't realize how low that brake petal went down. Works great now. But the best part is the complimentary ride service. Miss Tammy took us home and came back a few hours later when work was completed. What a great shop this is. Everyone is so very nice and helpful. And of course the car is running great.

So as a single female Thant knows absolutely nothing about cars lol I’m so blessed I found these awesome guys. I took my vehicle in to get all new tires installed and have my A/C system worked on. Aaron did a phenomenal job of keeping me updated on what may have caused my A/C to stop working properly, and what needed to be replaced. Having no A/C during an 100+ degree heat wave is a such a terrible inconvenience. I’m grateful it appears to be fixed! I also had an alignment taken care of, a few lug studs removed, and new lug studs installed. Everything that I needed was taken care of today, all in one place, and I couldn’t be happier! I will definitely be a returning customer.

I would have to say this is a really good auto shop. I have never had any problems getting my SUV fixed and done right. I've had my Mazda Tribute engine and air conditioner worked on. A shout out to Chad thanks for heads up on the check engine light , my cruise control works fine once they reset the C E light. By the way Chad is a great guy , he works with you on ways to save you money which now a days is hard to find. Had somebody tell me they got great service at this place, so I had to go there myself and I wasn’t disappointed at all! Just make sure you’re willing to wait to get quality work done before you arrive. Aaron and Mike were great at getting me a quote and getting it done in a timely manner and some right. Had a great experience, Geno was very helpful and friendly. Turn around time was quick, I dropped my car off Saturday at about 5:20 (close at 6) so they had to lock it up over the weekend (closed Sunday) But they had it ready for me Monday. "service power steering" popped up on my dash and I also needed a vehicle inspection. Turns out I needed a new battery, which of course they took care of. They even saved me some money when it came time to pay. Will be coming again. Thank you for the great service!

Went in for a state safety inspection, was told I needed rear breaks and rotors over $700 quote. I decided to take my vehicle to the shop that I normally use, I purchased the part from parts store and went to My shop told them I needed rear breaks replaced. Mechanic inspected and informed me that I didn't need rear breaks my rear brakes and rotors were fine. All trust was loss for Sun Auto shop. I decided to take vehicle to another inspection spot where it pass with no problems.

Requested an appointment the night prior via online, received a voicemail confirming appointment around noon the next day (appointment was for early afternoon). I arrived 10 mins prior, checked in, and waited within. Staff was polite and professional. Seemed to notice they have regulars, a good sign of customer satisfaction. After awhile the car maintenance was done. Process was smooth and simple. I was glad they were able to squeeze my car maintenance on such short notice.

I used Sun Auto for a long time.I went in 02/25/23.And was told for Full Synthetic Oil change w filter tax and that they now charge 20$ extra for there shop tools fee.Which I never heard prior.I got my keys and took it somewhere else.All other places charge do not charge for shop tools fee.Very strange and I won’t be returning there.Gino was always great to me in past years I’ve taken all my vehicles there ,but this was not good customer service experience.

I like this place! My first experience was a replacement of my truck’s EGR cooler that was covered by my warranty they took care of. The second was for a diagnostic test on my wife’s engine. The manager was knowledgeable from the beginning about the possibilities and mentioned the recall on the engine. He went a step further to help us get in line with the dealership so he could provide the results and make it a little smoother for us. Thanks Aaron!

My truck was having starter problems and needed it replaced today. I called Sun Auto Service and asked if they could replace the starter today, they indicated they could if i could get the truck in soon. I had the truck towed in and they diagnosed it as a bad starter, the new starter was installed and a warranty issued. I liked that they did what they said they were going to do. I like people with integrity. I'll use them again.

Front end lady turned me away for an oil change due to me showing up at 5:26 and the store closing at 6. What is the point of being open if you are not going to help a customer. I was then recommend to come in the morning. Most people like myself have a full time job from 8-5 so coming in the morning isn’t an option. I am usually happy with their customer service and always go here for my oil changes. Not anymore.

Smh they rip u off I had some worked done on my truck about a few days ago, and they wanted to charge me 1000 dollars to get it fixed, well i ended up sticking with it cause i thought they were cheaper than the dealership as it says and to find out the dealership was only going to charge me 500 dollars to get fixed, they lie to make it sound good and they lie to u about prices.. they don't even derserve a 1 star..

After coming from another shop and was told i needed a new transmission and alternator, i decided to get a second option and came here. After all i didnt need neither replaced. They are there to help you and not there to rob you for your money. Straight forward with clients. I highly recommend this place and will continue business with them in the future. Prices are reasonable and im ery satisfied.

Had a great stress free experience taking my jeep to Sun auto service for the first time. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable and Aaron really provided great customer service and went above and beyond to get my auto issues all taken care of in a timely manner. This year changed completely at this location. I personally heard an employee at the desk say to a mechanic, " Even if the mechanic is guessing, I'm a salesman & I sell it." We are currently trying to resolve our BBB complaint with this location. We spent thousands & still have the same problem. Definitely do not recommend this location. Look up BBB info first.

I have had my truck serviced twice at this location and I am extremely impressed with the customer service. After calling several shops, CAR RX was the best deal in town. Eddie explained how the shop would handle situation over the phone and once again when I walked into the shop. If you appreciate great customer service and quality work, I suggest CAR RX.

Eddie and the Car-x staff here are awesome! I've been coming here for awhile and, if given a choice, would not go anywhere else. I've never felt like they've ever been dishonest, and I know that whatever work my car needs will be done correctly. I've always felt confident in their work and work ethic. I'd recommend them to my friends and family for sure.

I have been going here for many years. I moved to Austin, Tx in January and I STILL drive on down here to SA every 4 months for an oil change and various vehicle maintenance/repairs. This place is the best- they treat you right and they know what they’re doing and perform their job to perfection. The most Hassle-free auto service establishment around!

Overall, I would say I had a very good experience with this location. I worked with Chad & Gino and found both to be helpful, knowledgeable, and very courteous! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because their prices are on the high side. They more than make up for it with the level of service they provide but it is still worth mentioning.

Dropped off my car this morning. It was ready after lunch. Had my struts replaced almost a year ago and one of them needed to be replaced. It was covered under their 24 month 24 thousand mile warranty. I spent zero dollars getting it replaced, with no headaches. Very happy and I definitely recommend this shop from oil changes to other repairs.

Got an oil change here last month my car started making this rattling sound after. Took it to the Kia dealership and they said the wrong size filter was put in during an oil change and that was causing the sound now I have to pay $200 because this place didn’t put the right size filter ! If I could give this place 0 stars I would !

I went for in an inspection sticker. The clerk was very nice and helpful. They did my inspection pretty quickly and did a complimentary multipoint inspection, of which the results were accessible through my phone. Overall, I was satisfied with the experience, this will be my new go to place for inspection stickers.

Trustworthy place to take your vehicle. Love the fact that they take pictures of the actual issue and email it to you for reference. Driving my SUV until the wheels fall off and to keep it going in the meantime, my vehicle will only come here for routine checks and oil changes...or anything else that arises.

Aaron the Manager was quite helpful with what they were going to do for the price. Gilbert the mechanic found much needed work that my truck could definitely use and did an excellent job on the repairs. I greatly appreciate the the job that both Aaron and Gilbert did and will gladly be back.

Staff is friendly however they service phone calls even if they are in the middle of helping the person at the counter. If I’m there and being helped i would think placing the ph call on hold would be the proper course of action. Other than this minor inconvience, I have no complaints

Called to get estimates on alternator replacement, brought car in, diagnosed it, at first it fine, then tested some more, was definitely needed a new alternator, replaced it and got car back the same day. Very satisfied with the service. Excellent customer service with Miss Tammy.

Visited about 40 minutes ago due to the dust cover/skid plate hanging loose from the underside of my car. Techs had me in and the plate removed within 30 minutes (replacement would have to be done at the dealership due to missing clips, etc. ). No charge to me. Great experience

Got me in and out relatively fast for a vehicle inspection at a busy shop (approximately 30-45mins). Vibe was weird from the other customers. They only charged $7 and were the only shop that actually attended me in the area so probably going back for that.
