Dr. Arabtyan and his staff are literally the best dental practitioners I have ever been privileged enough to see. I do not say this lightly because in all fairness, I really dislike going to most dentists. I have very sensitive teeth and have had significant work done on several of them. I first saw Dr. Arabatyan back in 2008 to help fix a poorly set filling that had a minuscule bubble in it making it so I could not chew on on one side of my mouth. Dr Arabatyan quickly identified the issue, replaced my filling and I have been pain free in that tooth for over ten years. I saw Dr Arabatyan for three years while I was in law school and my teeth had never felt better. When I moved out of the Bay Area, I visited several dentists but never found one I trusted as much as Dr. Arabatyan. As a result my dental health suffered. Having moved back to The Bay Area for work, I wasted no time in setting an appointment and getting back in to see Dr Arabatyan, 7 years after my previous visit. His office is close to work and his staff is elite. Yvette is very sweet and Bobby has been working with Dr Arabatyan for years. They all know how to make you feel comfortable. I recommend him highly.

Two weeks ago my left jaw began hurting during dinner. I thought I was chewing too hard. Gradually it was hurting more every time I ate something. It came to the point that even swallowing was causing pain. So I started to worry : was there something serious? Last night chewing was very difficult, was thinking to call the Doctor in the morning. I woke up at 5am with severe pain in the jaw,I was getting dizzy and scared. Checked my teeth,they seem to be OK,had them cleaned 2 weeks ago. Were they infected? At 9am I called Dr. Arabatyan's office and was told to come in at 11am. Dr. Arabatyan asked a few questions,checked my neck muscles .They were very tight.He massaged them and showed my wife how to do,gave us specific instructions. He took his time explaining all about neck and jaw muscles and how to take care of them. He performed deep tissue massage on both sides of my neck. When I left the office ,90% of the pain was already gone. Thank you Dr. Arabatyan. If your neck or jaw hurts,see Dr. Arabatyan first. You will be glad you did.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Arabatyan!!! I have been a patient of Dr. A for over two years now. I had a substantial amount of work done (some due to trauma) and needed a dentist that was gentle, and compassionate to my fears of dental work. During my first visit I was shaking and Dr. Arabatyan was so patient and took his time speaking with me and understand what caused my fears of dental work and made me feel so comfortable. I had seen many dentists over the years but there is something that makes Dr. A standout specifically his interactions with his staff. He is extremely kind to his staff, and they are as one big family. Due to my specific needs, I have regular appointments every three months. This has given me the opportunity to learn more from Dr. A he teaches me about healthy nutrition, exercise options. I have to say through our discussions he has inspired me to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene which I am currently pursuing. Needless to say, 5 stars is not enough for what I have gained from dr. Arabatyan and his amazing staff!

I travel halfway across the country to see Dr. Gary on a biyearly basis to have my teeth cleaned and examined +/- any necessary treatments. I do so because I trust him completely and would be hard-pressed to find people as thoughtful and conscientious as he and his staff are. I've had a lot of work done to my teeth (fillings, root canals) with other dentists and always felt that I never really understood what was going on or why. Dr. Gary always takes the time to explain things in a clear way so that I know what's going on and what has to be done and why. His bedside manner is one of the best of all the medical professionals I've encountered and his skills as a dentist/artist are likewise top notch. Similarly his staff are wonderful and very personable. I would (and have) recommend(ed) Sutter Dental without any reservation to my closest friends and family as well as to you, stranger on the internet, reading this long review :)

The office is always warm and welcoming and clean, and the staff are very *very* knowledgeable about what they do. Preventive care may be a bit expensive but in the long run, it's better for your oral health (in my opinion.) I have yet to have a hygienist or a consultation with Gary where I felt mistreated or was getting false information, and they will take the time to walk you through proper techniques, x-rays, and new dental tools. It's pretty cool. The office is high enough in the tower to get great views while getting work done and they have this super cool fish tank and this really cool panorama photo of the Caribbean which is super exciting.

I've been to a lot of dentists and had a lot of work done and Dr Arabatyan is by far my favorite dentist. I've been seeing him for many years now and he not only has the best bedside manner ever, but he does flawless work. He also doesn't ever do unnecessary work on my teeth. He will always opt for the least invasive option which I really appreciate. Even tho I have moved out of the city I still go to him because I know it will be a good experience. The dentists at the office also do regular preventative care so you don't have to go there just for cosmetic reasons. Highly recommend!

Sutter Dental is a special place. Dr Arabatyan is surrounded by an amazing team. Team that sticks to this place and it feels good to see their familiar faces after all these years. Their skills and the latest technology of their tools is impressive. They explains everything clearly and simply and make sure you feel comfortable. But what I value the most is their guenine kindness. I've been going there for 15 years and even after moving on the other side of the bay, I wouldn't consider going anywhere else closer. I recommended them to my friends.

Sutter Dental is THE place to go for your dental needs. I have been traveling for years from Los Angeles to San Francisco just to see Dr. Arabatyan. He is truly a master at his craft and is always striving to provide excellent service to his patients. His staff is also a pleasure to be around and very flexible with scheduling. Prior to finding Dr. Arabatyan, I was fearful of visiting the dentist. However, Dr. Arabatyan quickly put me at ease by implementing some breathing techniques from yoga and always makes the process very comfortable.

Dr. Arabatyan has hands down been the best dentist I have ever been to. I have learned so much about my teeth, preventative care, and why it is important from Dr. Arabatyan which really showcases how much he cares about his patients while showcasing his passion for dentistry. I recently had a deep cleaning which I was very nervous about, but the technique and patience that was shown by Dr. Arabatyan led me to feel zero, yes zero pain. I have referred Dr. Arabatyan and his caring staff to everyone I know and will continue do so so.

Sutter Dental is a superlative dental practice — from the people at the front desk, to the hygienist and Dr Arabatyan. They have always provided me the best dental care possible. I moved from SF over 15 years ago but I have continued to come back to Sutter Dental for my dental care because of its excellence and staff. Dr Arabatyan has a long-term plan for my oral health and is always checking in with me as to how we are doing on that plan. With fillings or bonding, Dr Arabatyan is a true artist!

This dentistry located on the 12th floor is really friendly and kind. I went on a Groupon offer and arrived early because I had no idea where it was. The staff accommodated and saw me earlier. They made sure I was comfortable and the Doctor took his time to explain the procedure for me. I really understood exactly what steps would be taken and by the end I was very impressed by the results. The doctor even called me afterwards to make sure I was okay. Really great experience!

Amazing! The Dr. Gary and his staff are the best! Very warm, welcoming, helpful, understanding, caring, and etc. I felt like a family member there! I have switched insurances a lot of times so I've been to a lot of different dentals but this is the best one! They did the work very fast, and well! I came to visit him because I needed to get a lot of work done and I was suffering from some pain. It felt like a long sales pitch, the receptionist was also pretty pushy. I came in because of pain that I had, and I spent nearly 2 hours being sold additional products that I didn't need. I left feeling angry and frustrated with no immediate solution to the pain. I Left with a $150 visit fee, which was pretty pointless. I wouldn't recommend.

Dr. Arabatyan is super nice. He's very direct on what he is doing during the procedures. Gives great advice on care, and is super super nice during the whole process. He even checks in with you, later during the day to check in!! I've never been excited or even looked forward to even going to the dentist, however I look forward to my appointments with him. Definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a good person to go to.

I had a great first visit as a new patient. I appreciate the friendliness and professionalism of the entire Staff, Hygienist and Dr. Arabatyan. I appreciated how Dr. Arabatyan explained each step of the work he was doing at the time as well as any necessary future treatments. Everyone did and amazing job and the treatment I received was thorough, painless and left my visit with a sparkling smile.

Sutter Dental is great! I joined after having avoided the dentist for many years lol. Needless to say I needed a lot of work done. Dr. Arabatyan did such a great job of easing my anxiety and helping me through all the steps I needed for the work I had to get done. And now that I am on a smoother path him and his staff continue to deliver superb work and care keep my teeth clean and in check!

Dr. Gary gave me a Zoom dental whitening treatment. Staff was thorough before the treatment and gave me very helpful after-care information (I have sensitive teeth). And Dr Gary has an excellent and thoughtful chairside manner and was gentle on the teeth. He did a great job and even consulted on how to follow up for a few extra-stained teeth. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Dr.A at Sutter Dental for years. He is so passionate about what he does and you can tell through his work. He fixed my tooth from the inside out and made sure that I was comfortable the whole time and explained everything in detail. Love the office staff and the dentist. Didn't love my most recent experience. I came in to get an examination done to check on my gums since at my last visit they weren't great, they did my cleaning and then informed me the dentist wasn't in due to an emergency. Would have preferred to reschedule but wasn't given that option pre-cleaning.

It's back to work time and back to looking presentable. I went to Sutter Dental for the Zoom teeth whitening. The staff and the Dr are all really nice and explain in detail everything that happens. It was painless and a nice time to just close my eyes to open them to white teeth. I highly recommend!
