Hands down best antique book shop around. It’s hard to come out empty handed as there is something for everyone! This shop carries all genres of literature new and old (and so much more)! The owner, Frank, is a retired professor who is incredibly knowledgeable, quirky and kind! If you’re looking for a specific title or just wandering/exploring it’s easy to spend hours in his quaint and organized antique store. When you visit be sure to check out the Wine & Art section (it was my favorite)! Pro tip: don't be afraid to ask about the price I was able to score a deal on a gorgeous silver bound coffee table book from the National Geographic (see picture)! Lastly he has the most beautiful porch swings out front if you want to sit, swing and enjoy your new found treasure (book). Will 10000% return again! My boyfriend and I had the best experience here! Was just going to take a browse around but found so many things we left with our hands full. Prices were reasonable and “always negotiable” according to the owner who was the nicest man ever. Bought a few gardening books and he gave use a cutting of his rose bush that was out front. Will be returning soon!

Incredibly friendly owners, and a huge selection of books and antique prints with great prices! Definitely the best place in Tampa to get some cool books. My partner and I had the best experience shopping here. We will absolutely be returning for the great selection. Many thanks to the jovial well mannered gentleman who runs the place! :)

This is such an awesome store with so much to offer. The owner really enjoys history and antiques and it really shows. There's so many rare and unique items in this store that you can literally spend hours here. I have found some very interesting things here and love stopping by at least once a month. Stop by and check this place out!

Not the place if you are looking for actual history. If you want indoctrination books and fiction then this is the place. Not much antiques either. Unorganized and overpriced on some. Just order off ebay or go to a larger collection store.

Gorgeous and diverse selection of antique books, prints, and housewares. The owner is a very comedic and "well-preserved" man. One of Tampa's last independent book stores. A must visit for collectors of all interests!

Suitably packed with books from floor to ceiling, and suitably cramped to make me wonder how I'm gonna get around. Huge magazine stand outside, and parking out back. Raised counter to pay at, Awesome.

This is the most inclusive Antique Bookstore I’ve ever experienced. The environment was set by a very attentive and dedicated gentleman. Recommend for those of us who are old book enthusiasts.

  • Rick Robinson

One of the coolest and most well organized antique stores I’ve been in. Mostly books now, but I found a lot of postcards and the owner Frank is awesome and will wheel and deal. Amazing store!

  • Loren Farr

Omg love this place. The people who run it are so kind and there are rooms of hidden treasures in here. Definitely a must stop in for any book lover or artist looking for reference material.

Best antique/book store I've ever been to. The selection is unparalleled, and the service is provided by the nicest and most helpful guy in the world.

This store is nice and calm. The owner is a nice, jovial elderly man with a great wit and sense of humor. 10/10 would recommend and would go again.
