I'm beyond words happy to have found this place! They actually care about the animals here and they do an amazing job! I was so disheartened by the place I took our dog before this that I was already accepting that we couldn't afford the care she needed, and we might have to say goodbye. Thank God we found out about TFAC, because they did the procedures she needed for a fraction of what the big for-profit hospitals wanted to charge! We have a happy dog and a happy family and I'm beyond thankful for both!

The whole time I was here, my dog was lovingly doted upon, showered with belly scratches, and given snacks while they discussed with me the plan for treatment. Not only is the staff at TFAC incredibly kind, hard-working, and genuine-- but they are extremely reasonably priced. I am paying less than $500 for my dog's heartworm treatment here at TFAC after I found out at another vet was going to charge over $2000. I highly recommend this place for your dog's heartworm treatment, they will be in good hands.

We had a phenomenal experience here. Our pit is always dramatic and noisy, but they handled him so well and were so great with him. He has bad allergies and was heartworm positive, and they not only spent the time to treat his heartworm, but always asked how his allergy treatments were going. They are very caring and I can tell they truly care about animals. Today I got the fantastic news that my baby boy was officially heartworm negative and it is all thanks to Dr. Wight and her team!

Staff is friendly and caring - when I adopted my pup, the rescue group set up her spay and rabies vaccine here. When I returned 6 months later for a heartworm test (she was too young to test before) and re-up her preventative meds, they remembered us from our previous visit, and answered a number of questions for me. I wasn't sure what to expect from a "low cost clinic" but I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience and the level of care we received. Definitely recommend!

I found out about this place when i received the bad news that my fur baby tested positive for Heartworm I sent them a text and they answered fast and had me in their office within 1 week. They are super affordable! They are professional and everyone is so friendly! They explained how the treatment was going to be and answered all of my questions. I have to say that i am so thankful for them and what they do. My fur baby is now negative and as healthy as he could be!

I can't put into words how Joyed I am we found this vet my baby's life is being preserved and I am so Grateful for that I cried when checking out not because of the money they saved me but because the lives they are saving I didn't have the 900 plus the first vet ask for to treat his heartworms but here I was able to pay over less than that and the Best part is the love me my son and my fur baby felt while receiving care that was priceless❤️

Cannot express how much I appreciate this place!! My new rescue dog is my world but when my vet handed me a heartworm treatment estimate for $1,500 I panicked. This place gave her essentially the exact same treatment for $300! Most of my appointments lasted less than 15 minutes, which was great for my anxious dog. And the quality of care is still awesome, very caring & knowledgeable veterinarians! Such a great option!!

Great place for specific treatment such as heartworm and yearly vaccine, etc. These people care about animals and you can tell on the first visit. Highly recommended. Found a stray dog and took her here for a heartworm treatment. The cheapest place in the DFW and the protocols are the same as the other big places. They follow the standard procedures from AAHA I believe.

These people are doing amazing work. They are so caring, thoughtful, kind, and most of all, are making it possible for us to treat a dog we rescued from terrible conditions, for heart worms. Everyone here at Texas Foundation for Animal Care was wonderful! I adopted a dog that I was told was heartworm positive, so I went in for treatment. After several tests he ended up actually being negative, but they made sure he was up to date on his annual wellness needs anyways. They were so kind and fast and made a nervous senior dog feel so comfortable.

We took our dog to Texas Foundation because we found out that she had heartworms. Our vet was going to charge $2,400 for the treatment!! Texas Foundation charges $500 for a 70 pound dog for the same basic treatment. Caring staff with informative Vet. We were not rushed, and we had lots of questions and she carefully answered them all.

I can't speak more highly of the service and affordable care for my fur baby. My vet was going to charge me $$$$ to treat my baby for heart worms and this place saved my dog and money I didn't have to save his life. Still waiting on my vet to get results from the heart worm company it's been months now.

OMG I love them! I rescued a dog from Edinburgh Texas who had been dumped on the side of a road and was living in a ditch for at least 6 months. He's a older guy and tested positive for heartworm disease. This is the place to go for caring and compassionate treatment that doesn't break the bank!!

Took a stray I found for heartworm treatment. Wonderful facility, the staff and vet are all saints in my book. Process is easy and price to treat heartworms was 1/3 what my vet wanted. They are saving lives when they make this affordable. Of course best thing to do is have dogs on preventative.
