The Aquarium centre and the team by far THE best Aquarium store in brisbane, not only are the staff incedibily knowledagable regarding live stock and products, they take the time, no matter what level you are at with the hobby to ensure you are 100 percent informed before you leave the store with your new friends. Adele, Michael, Ben, and Karen put in so much time and endless effort, ensureing they have multiple suppliers for livestock in order to provide their customer base with new and exciting species and products on a weekly basis. ! please take a second to pop and and appreciate what solid hard work looks like in a 2023 bricks and mortar, you'll be plesentley suprise.

The standard care for betta fish was extremely disappointing. They have betta “bowls.” for sale and have multiple display tanks including a tiny unfiltered unheated bowl on display behind the counter. Presenting today I saw a giant male betta housed with another betta who quite literally killed the other male while i was in store. I have worded my concern for the bettas before and asked them to stop selling bowls as it leads to the stereotype of bettas which causes them to be abused. Very disappointing. Every time I have brought up my concerns the employees have been hostile towards me as well.

This place is very very good! They have a wide range of aquarium fish, seahorses, axolotls and other sea animals. They have all different tanks and options for you to look at and a wide variety of tank maintenance products. The staff members were friendly and helped us with all our questions about our fish tank and how to improve it. Special mention to the tall guy with slightly longer hair who was busy cleaning(?) the store or tanks but still had time to answer our questions- you’re a true mvp, thanks for helping us save our tank!

The staff at the Aquarium Centre were extremely helpful with setting me up with my first salt water Aquarium. I knew nothing about owning a fish tank before walking in and Michael (Staff) ensured that I was setup correctly and educated about coral dosing before I left the store. I heard about this store from a friend who also owns a saltwater tank. We would recommend the Aquarium Centre to anyone, whether starting a new tank or adding stock to an existing one.

By far the best Aquarium shop in QLD! The friendly staff are always approachable and extremely knowledgeable and passionate. You never leave disappointed or without learning something new. They have great stock of fish and corals and the most affordable prices I’ve seen. Each staff member will go above and beyond for your needs. By far the best of the best!

Great store. Prices are amazing considering their central location in the hub of Sunnybank. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to go out of their way to assist. Would suggest broadening range of aquatic plants such as stocking premium plants such as Bucephalandra and collectibles to cater for a niche but broader market such as myself.

This aquarium is extremely cruel. Take the Betta fish out of the tiny jars and turn the filters down so the goldfish can actually move against the current. This isn't the first time I've seen the fish being neglected here either. Shame on anybody that works here and leaves them in these horrendous conditions

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, great membership point collection program, great price on fish and Coral. Only critic is shop required more coral with a proper coral display tank. Other than that it is a wonderful shop.

The store looks great and staff seem helpful but I'm concerned about the condition the Betta fish are kept in. They are a highly priced fish and the water quality doesn't seem great for them or they're in tiny tanks.

Awesome little aquarium shop tucked away in the shopping centre with very friendly staff! Bought a few trochus snails for my reef tank. Noticed a stowaway stomatella snail riding on one of them so that was a bonus!

Michael set up my beautiful aquarium at home, job done professionally and is always there for any support or question.. i really recommend checking with michael and his team for any of your aquarium needs !

Nice staff but many were young and weren't experienced the types of fish in the shop I asked about. They sell some more novelty fish such as pea puffers and axolotls. Prices are on the higher end.

Is there anyway I could work here it seems like a great environment to work in with great staff, and it would help me expand my knowledge on fish and how to maintain them as a junior

Michael set up my tank with beautiful aquascaping and delivered it to my home. That makes my life a lot easier. Highly recommend his service. I love watching my tropical fish!
