It's a JD Wetherspoons branch I like. There is a large outdoor seating area in the front, beautifully finished off with flower baskets. On dry days, and especially sunny days I love that. It's a fabulous spot for watching the world go by. I enjoyed time sitting with some regulars and chatting about everything and nothing. Most of the outside seating area is smoking, whilst a section up the other end, where the toilets are, is non-smoking. I think it has two large tables. I liked the inside. though, It has smallish windows, so it's darker. There is lots of wood finish with prints and photos adorning the walls. You can't easily explore and enjoy these when there are punters at these tables. I don't mind the weird looks! There are also some nicely done cubicle style tables with lovely glass dividers. It's a lovely example of a pub finish.

Parking
There is paid street parking, it may be free on Sundays and bank holidays. I'm not sure. On week days the parking seems to go quickly. For many punters though, the bus or walking would be a the usual form of transport.
Kid-friendliness
It's very child friendly, the first time I was there, there were several families with children enjoying the pub.
Wheelchair accessibility
The entrance had steps, though it's likely that bar staff or other punters would lend a hand with wheelchair users. It seems to be that sort of friendly, helpful local. However, wheelchair users may have a different take.

Came in after a workout and must say the place is nice, not too invasive from the outside and so food and drinks can be enjoyed in peace. Had a little problem trying to order food from the app however managed to order food at the bar by a lovely and well spoken lady as was the lady that had served my food, unfortunately tips can not be accepted by card at the bar. Food was delivered quickly and the presentation of the food wasn't bad either, the fish and chips I had ordered was exactly what I had expected to be, in summary this place was a stress free visit, nice lighting and the food was fantastic.

Great local pub. Good food, nice portions, not too large, but satisfying. The cottage pie was very nice, if a tiny bit too salty for my liking. The gravy was proper good gravy, peas were cooked well and not overdone. All in all, a great meal. Ordered via the App. Wine came withing 2 minutes and the food in about 10. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. The only negative is that the glasses weren't properly clean, spots missed by the dishwasher, some dried bits of food on one glass. It's a pub, with pub food and good prices (for London). Keep that in mind and you can have a great night. The app makes it super easy to order and there's decent seating options. Use the app, pay with Google and have a good time. Highly recommended.

For the first hour,as I was watching the Rugby, service was great. Afterwards I was asked to leave even though I only drunk coffee. I regularly visit the premises on a Saturday night and never any problems with the staff.

I recommend this place for Fresh food, Drink and price plus, It sells food until 11pm, cool point. The food is fresh, my favourite almost everything but the 10 spicy wings. I have given service 4 stars because I on a couple of occasions I have had to go and get help for the table to be cleaned. They probably need 1 more person on the floor. Great service otherwise.

The food a bit bland. However, The selection a proper pub! I was impressed with the variety of drinks, beers, and shots on the menu. It is self service. You must go up and get your own drinks. They will bring food to you. Friendly waitstaff. Clean. Friendly locals. They have a café machine and an area for smoking outside. Tables are also outside. I had guiness with black currant on top... interesting cream. Enjoy

The food is very much what you would expect and be accustomed to. (So there for as spoons go on the stars 5* (Relatively)) The evening I went there was a particularly friendly member of staff (I believe to be male (wouldn't want to assume tho (ofc)) (maybe the manager). Decent venue, etc, etc.

The place was a good place however , in some sections of the venue had a lingering smell of alcohol but that it expected considering its a pub with food. The food that I ordered from the menu was A Large Mixed Grill Meal with Hot milk & BBQ Pork Ribs meal . When I received the hot milk I tasted it and it tasted like it was artificial milk with foam which left me very disappointed for my drink . However on a brighter note the food was amazing

For a Wetherspoons, this pub was really rather quiet when I visited which was a plus, normally I find most spoons to be very loud and overwhelming, but the beaten docket gave off a more relaxing homey feel. I think one of the bartenders may have been very new to the job, but all staff were very friendly. I would recommend the halloumi fries.

PLEASE READ ONE STAR RATING ON GOOGLE REVIEWS ESPECIALLY ABOUT OWNERS & MANAGERS Katerina (Manager) is very rude & showing attitude towards customers!! I would strongly suggest to another Weatherspoon pubs as it’s far better then this one by service. I HAVE FORMALLY WRITTEN COMPLAIN TO WEATHER SPOON HEAD-OFFICE.

Very happy with this place! The food, atmosphere, drinks were all amazing. It can get busy later in the night where you might not get a seat. You sit at the table, order through the app, and they bring you all food and drinks to you. I would absolutely recommend this place, they have really good deals throughout the week.

It's a weatherspoons so fair prices. It's OK with refills and an OK breakfast. Friendly place but environment is dated. It's quite comfortable and no complaints.

A relaxed ,old school Wetherspoons boozer. Not fancy, not loud, just people having a pint, a natter and a bite to eat with friends and family. Not a party venue but great as a local.

Staff always cheerful and helpful but food, Mixed Grill, was barely edible. Meat was so thin and overdone and portions getting smaller and tasteless. The wine was good though.

Good cheap Wetherspoon pub food looked good although nothing special only saw other customers eating it. Drink was very good and cheap. Atmosphere a bit lacking but not unpleasant a good outside area for smokers. Nice for a quiet pint and a chat. More

A great evening on Christmas Eve with friends. A very good size and kept fairly clean including the toilets. Food came out quickly. Staff and manager very friendly and accommodating for requests. All round very good service and would go again.

I have been in that pub about three times and is always the seme attitude towards customers from managers (rude). I know the drinks are cheap but not free and all customers should be treated respectfully. my two female friends were band on

Ate twice here, while visiting. A nice and quick breakfast, and then some fish and chips for dinner with a pint later. Both meals were tasty, quickly served and great value for money. Staff was very friendly.

JD Wetherspoon pub frequented by locals. Affordable, filling and tasty meals in a nice environment. Tables outside are for smoking. Choose a table first, then order at the counter telling your table number.
