Pros - Great staff; friendly, and appreciative of feedback. Food products are delicious; very good quality for the price Quick service Good variety Almost something for everyone to enjoy A local business that supports other local businesses Cons - Drink menu lacks the same quality as the food products Prices add up fast Items run out quick (get there before noon, or pre-order online for pickup) Front walkway leading to order pick-up needs tending or renovating. Other - Watch out for falling walnuts from the big tree out front. Curbside steps need improving; looks hazardous, doesn't feel very secure. Cozy, rustic feeling building and interior (it is an old farm house, after all) Limited parking, however since the pandemic, they have set up picnic areas including large tents to protect from rain or sun. Parking is available on the street as well. Personally, I'd like to see the landscape get some attention; maybe a remodeling for a more business appropriate pathing. (I am aware I'm nitpicking) Many of the customers that hang out in the area have a very entitled attitude about them. (Not BW's fault, just an observation)

Never adjusts inventory to meet demand. I'm constantly told they're out of bread even by noon. They're barely open. What bakery is closed on Sundays and then have no inventory for the few days they are open? Over the years I've also noticed the quality of things are completely subpar. The quality of the baked goods has constantly been a disappointment as well. It seems like they're just trying to cut corners for less prep time. The only consistency with this place you'll find is low quality and being told they're constantly out of inventory. Edit: one more thing that I really didn't appreciate was the fact that every time I was told they didn't have bread, I was offered frozen loaves of bread. Do you not understand that the entire point of a bakery is to get FRESH baked goods? So here's a friendly suggestion... stop offering people frozen stuff simply because it's easier. I could have just gone to the Sobeys bakery if I knew your bakery was just going to sell frozen goods. Unfortunately, this place is a pass for me.

A nice bakery with a good selection of items, but we didn't find any of the items we had stood out. Order: Lemon Poppy Seed Scone ($2.75 each) x1 - Great texture - Slightly sweet from the icing - The lemon poppy seed comes through Pain au Chocolat ($3.00 each) x1 - A good croissant - Not enough chocolate inside Pecan Brownie ($3.25 each) x1 - Moist and cakey Orange Date Square ($3.25 each) x1 - The taste of orange was fantastic - Incredibly moist Atmosphere and Site: - Currently you need to order at the entrance and wait outside for the items to come out - A nice selection of local products available - There is quite a bit of parking beside the bakery - The bakery is a repurposed house that feels very cozy Service: - The staff were able to provide recommendations based on their favorite items - The baked goods came out in 5~ minutes

The usual bakery products with comparable prices to other bakeries. They are usually busy, so I find that service is slow. Right now, you lineup outside to order at the take out window. You can either take your items home, or eat at the picnic tables across the street under the tent. My rating of 3 stars is because we ordered a broccoli and cheese quiche and we found out upon eating it that it had bacon in it. My daughter is a vegetarian. She went back to get something different, and the quiche item on the board had been changed. We weren't told this when ordering. We waited in line for 15 minutes the first time. My daughter returned after another 10 minutes saying that she couldn't be bothered to return her quiche as it was taking too long. We went to the Cumberland Market after this, and she bought a different baked good there.

Having grown up in Rockland, I've driven by this little house thousands of times in my life. The Black Walnut has completely transformed this spot! Sadly, there are very few things that I can eat at the Black Walnut because I can't eat gluten. I've had the chance to taste à couple of their treats, and they have been delicious, but I know for sure there are even tastier things on the board. So if you can eat bread, or things with flour in them, this is definitely the place for you. Carpool with your friends and get down to Cumberland on the weekend to pick up your bread and goodies for the week, it's a nice drive I promise. Your tastebuds and your stomach will thank you. The owners of this place are fantastic humans and wonderful parents and amazing friends. Their staff are just as incredible!

Wonderful little bakery right off the 17. Limited parking for the amount of business they always seem to have. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I have had the Cottage White and Multigrain bread so far and they are both delicious! All their breads are vegan-friendly except for the Egg Bread. Only 1 vegan dessert so far (their melt-in-your-mouth Power Bar) but I'm hopeful new options will be added as they grow. A nice arrangement of local goods can also be found here, from honey to ketchup to coffee beans to soap. Worth a stop in if you're passing by, but be warned: if you want some fresh-baked goods, go earlier in the day, because once they're out, they're out.

Everything we purchased today was delicious. Was meaning to save some pastries until tomorrow but they didn't stand a chance. The almond croissant was so flaky and buttery. The honey cookies remind me of the cake my grandmother used to make, with a deep honey flavour. Wish I bought more, it was so good and hearty with a cup of tea. Next time :) Hoping for some baked goods on the menu with black walnut or poppy seed in the future. Edit - went back for the makivnyk and purchased 4. Sliced it and froze it and was my late night treat when I couldn't make it out to your bakery. It's all gone and will keep an eye out for whenever it comes back on the menu.

Very satisfied with their service and product. Good vegetarian and dairy free options although I haven't seen any variation of these options in the last 3 months. Pastries and bread have been consistent in quality and freshness ( made the morning of) . Courteous service at any time of the day. A must spot to stop along the way. 2019 EDIT added a nice picture to boot. Consistently happy to eat and meet the staff here. Oh, and you can get bilingual service too. 2020 EDIT - the new coffee that they use for the espresso is completely mind blowing. Finally someone that has great coffee and knows how to make a true macchiato! Thanks Carlos.

Visited the bakery for the first time last week and WOW! Everything was excellent. In addition to several pastries (which were excellent warmed up even two days later!), we also picked up a few balls of sourdough pizza dough to freeze for later. We finally thawed and baked the pizza on Sunday and they were beyond delicious!!! The thawing/baking process also couldn't have been easier, no need to rise, etc - just pull out and bring to room temp approx one hour before baking. It made the most delicious, thin crust style pizza that you would find in any high end pizza restaurant. Highly recommend this bakery! We can't wait to go back.

  • Christine

Always such a pleasant experience checking out the Black Walnut Bakery! I'm a repeat customer and every time I go I am very happy with the quality of food and the kindness of the staff. Today I picked up a Benny croissant (one of my favourites) and some new treats like the lumberjack croissant, chocolate zucchini muffins, the bread they are presently baking with proceeds going to Ukraine and a samosa pie which I am very excited to try! If it's your first time checking this place out I recommend their quiches as well! They're super light and fluffy. Always a 10/10 experience, keep up the great work Black Walnut Bakery team!

  • Mel L

BWB is one of my favorite little indulgences en route to or from Rockland ❤️ baked goods are consistently delicious and you can taste the freshness but also care that goes into them. To the reviewers who comment on them being "overpriced", LOL you can surely get muffins and croissants from Tim's at half the price but they are mass-produced and full of additives and stabilizers. I don't mind paying their prices because their quality is superior, and if you've ever seen their job postings, their staff are paid well with great benefits

  • Kim Menard

Love The Black Walnut Bakery. We've been fans since the days when they showcased their wares at the Cumberland Farmers Market. Recent additions to the menu include real homemade ice cream in a variety of yummy flavours like bumbleberry or honey lavender. Flavours change on a frequent basis. Enjoy a savoury croissant or Eggs Benny and a coffee (Poppa Bean locally roasted), while sitting under the canopy tent across the street in a parkland setting. Maybe grab fresh glorious pies or cookies, and the bread to take home. Can't miss at BWB!

We recently moved to the area and drive by this place a lot. It is an adorable building which made us want to have a look. We have seen very long lines and were curious. So today was the day and we were not disappointed. We got a cherry berry pie which was a little lobsided but who cares when it is that good. Plus we got apple danishes. Sounds kind of like something basic but the flavour was just so darn good. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with perfectly cooked apples. I almost cried. Lol. We will be going back for sure.

  • Jeff Presta

One of, if not the, best bakeries in Ottawa. They make beautiful and delicious pastries and breads. Their soups and sandwiches are usually incredibly tasty and creative. The type of place that cares about consistency, quality, and creativity. Every time I think I'll just stop in a grab a couple things I leave with a bag full of goodies. Service has always been fantastic but it does get crowded at the busier times. Small family business that deserves the great success they are having now and hopefully for many years to come.

I along with some of my co-workers from the Red Apron in Ottawa along with some of our customers went on a bus trip. We stopped at the Black Walnut bakery for some treats! I had a brownie along with a coffee! Then I bought a homemade strawberry rhubarb pie! The pie was absolutely phenomenally delicious! The small country store atmosphere was so nice! I highly recommend a visit as you'll not be disappointed! It's well worth the trip, even if it's out of uour way! ☉ On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it 10 stars!

  • K. Kennedy

This bakery is a gem and worth the drive! Everything I've tried has been fresh, delicious, and sometimes unique. Absolutely love their soups, stews, and various meat and fruit pies which I bring home. Their power bars are perfect for a quick snack or breakfast on the run. There is nowhere to eat in but there are picnic tables out front which are perfect in good weather. We make time to sit there for lunch - sandwiches and lemonade are delicious! Online ordering and pick-up are also available.

  • Jean M.

Little Gem in Cumberland! Nice, quaint location with really delicious sweets and sandwiches. I don't believe they restock a lot through the day, so if you want something in particular, you have to go early. Almond croissants are to die for! But anything you choose is delicious. My mom and I came here for a beautiful little lunch and sat out front in the Adirondack chairs, definitely a hidden gem worth the small trek from Orleans! Would definitely recommend!

The Black Walnut bakery did a pop up in Ottawa in collaboration with Milkup. Absolutely loved what I tasted!- I tried the quiche and scone. Both baked goods were delicious. The quiche had lots of cheese, veggie and had a wonderful egg flavour. The tarte component of the quiche was churchy and had a touch of sweetness to it. The scone was out of this world best scone I had ever tasted. Wish they were situated in downtown Ottawa. High recommend a visit!

  • Alex Martine

I have always said that the presentation at the meal is very important and here at “The Black Walnut Bakery” they take this very seriously and also the right combination of ingredients. Everything that I wrote until now is to say that it is the perfect place to enjoy a good quality product, to this I include the awesome customer service that their pleasant smiling faces is the cherry at the top of the cake at “The Black Walnut Bakery”.

  • Elizabeth Lakoff

Not only is their food delicious, but it is also beautifully presented. I love that they experiment with different flavours - their creativity makes them really stand out. I should also add that their customer service is excellent. We regularly visited the bakery before the pandemic and we were so happy to be able to continue to order from them during this challenging time. I am really happy to have them in our community.

  • Pat Soullière

Meh.. bread not ready at opening or bakery. Order a sourdough bread, told none ready. walk away to think of another to order, get back in line, only for the person ahead of me to order a sourdough, and all of a sudden, there is one. I ask for a Sourdough again, only to be told they only had one ready. so... interesting how in a matter of 5 mins there is one, but not for me. not again, sorry.

  • The Reviewer

After years of hearing good things about The Black Bakery we finally past by it and stopped. It wasn't to busy at the time of arrival which was great because I heard theirs usually quite the line. We bought a bit of everything - was it pricey? Yes. Was it delicious? Also yes! Its alot of carbs but what woman doesn't like carbs? The chive tea biscuit was devine. We will be stopping again :)

  • T. Hache

Delicious as always! The pastries are never too sweet, just the perfect amount. The beef pies are *chef kiss* and the pumpkin pie is seriously the best pumpkin pie I've ever tasted. It's full of spices and sooo tasty. Everything tastes like it's homemade (because it is) and everything I've tried so far (which is a lot) was delicious. I highly recommend this bakery and it's local!

  • Phil M

Incredibly tasty, consistent and quality bakery. Their croissant dough is very well laminated, flaky and delicious. Recommendations: chocolate almond croissant, morning bun (like a beaver tail croissant) and carrot walnut muffin. Get there before noon or you risk missing out on items that sell out quickly. Look at the board up on the wall to see what they have left in stock.

  • Martha English-MacCaull

Amazing owners and staff. Outstanding baked goods. Creative pastries and breads. Wonderful coffee. We go here at least twice a month. Can pre order online and pick up at bakery. Savoury croissants, double chocolate zucchini muffins, beef pot pie, vegetable pie, lemon pie, German chocolate pie and coconut cream pie not to be missed. Morning buns are delicious

  • Sabrina Mayer

Let me say this for the people in the back: SUPPORT MOM & POP SHOPS!! & please tip these lovely people, especially during these times. The food is so incredibly delicious and they use the freshest ingredients. I just picked up my second order from here, and it's as good as the first time. I really recommend their oatmeal raisin cookies, I seriously can't get enough!

  • Gelfand Robert

A friend and I came by this morning for a mid-morning breakfast. This was my second visit to the Black Walnut. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. More notably, the coffee and ham & cheese croissants were outstanding. We finished off with apple turnovers, which I will gladly order next time I visit. My next visit will be sooner than later.

  • Ruxandra Lungu

Very kind and friendly service. The lady who attended us really took her time to answer all my questions about the menu items, since it was our first visit to the Black Walnut Bakery. Among other goodies, we ordered two Lumberjack Benny croissants, and, since the eggs came out runny, we got these items for free. Everything tasted great, and we will be back!

  • Daniel Lawson

Today has marked the first day of a new tradition for us, as our experience at the Black Walnut Bakery absolutely blew us away. The food was phenomenal, the cafe service was delightful and the staff were friendly and happy to be there. If you haven't yet treated yourself to this beautiful, local bakery then do yourself a favour and make the time.

  • Jennifer Lejeune

We came across this bakery on a whim and boy are we ever glad we did! Very kind staff! We started with the savoury croissant bun and let's just say we got back in line for more. So delicious and flavourful! Hands down the best butter tarts I've ever had! Not too runny and the right amount of pastry! So good! We will definitely be back for more!

  • Natacha Burgio

This is the place I drive to on the mornings I need some comfort. I have never walked away spending less than $40 because their menu is so amazing and everything is delicious. My favourites are their spinach and feta quiches and their walnut butter tarts. Don't leave without getting one of each to try. Their coffee is pretty delicious too!

  • Audrey Eroglu

This quaint little counter bakery was highly recommended to me by several people... and I now totally understand! I purchased a sampling of their fresh baked goods, and everything was delicious I have also enjoyed their amazing Pistachio Rose croissant... heavenly! They also have frozen items which I will happily try next

  • David Soegiarto

Passed by a few times, decided to stop by today. Great selection, great price, cozy place. Baked goods are yummy although I had bad timing. Bought the last cold batch right before new ones came out and so had low expectation. Boy, was I wrong. Still super tasty! Awesome coffee too! (Biased: I'm Indonesian and they had Bali coffee!)

  • Eric Sulser

This is a very nice place and people around Cumberland seem to come back unfortunately I found the price is outrageous. Yes the products are very fresh but to pay $10 for 3 inch quiche is absolutely ridiculous. There is always a lineup outside so I guess people like this bakery, let’s face it, this is the only bakery around.

  • George DaNova

Fresh, tasty pastries, nice setting, big picnic tent available across the street. Prices are a bit expensive, but that's common to all bakeries. Looks like some of the baked items may have experienced some shrinkflation too. Brewed coffee was good but not quite hot enough. Overall good enough experience to check back again.

  • Bobby SHARKS

There always busy come early if u want to get the pie or snack u prefer. There pies maybe are the best in the city . Maybe the best pie I've ever had. Always fresh and delicious the staff are friendly and a big part of the community. The building feels like your going to Granny's place has a historical look and feel.

  • Tristan Cannon-Sherlock

A must visit spot for anyone who is in Ottawa. They have a phenomenal selection of pastries, sandwiches, breads and pies any of which will surpass expectations. Expect long lines and be aware of their operating days and hours. My only wish is that they were open more, I can recommend this place highly enough.

  • Rebecca Barr

The food and drinks are amazing however I cannot get past the fact that this building is completely inaccessible :( we come in groups of moms and babies and there is no ramp to take a stroller into the building. This should really be addressed, more importantly than for strollers, those with mobility issues.

  • Emie Sarault

Delicious bakery with a large variety of items. Weekly preorder is fantastic and the takeout window is just as great when you need a little treat or coffee on the go. Highly recommend the Korasan bread, all types of croissants and their pizza dough but honestly, haven’t tried anything that was not good.

  • Stephanie Marcil

Absolutely love all the baked goods and their new addition to the menu - soups! Everything is fresh and consistently delicious. The owners and staff are friendly. You can place orders for pies and breads for the next day and they are on the ball with replying to emails and ensuring the order is ready.

  • Craig Cameron

Honestly this bakery is amazing! I have yet to try anything that is not in upper echelons of being the best, whether it’s their butter tarts, caramel apple sticky buns, quiche, multigrain bread, croissants, or hamburger buns. Nothing we bring home lasts the day. This place is a must try for everyone.

  • Taras Zalusky

This is my favourite bakery in Ottawa. The breads are great - we most often get multigrain, caraway rye and sourdough. The cookies, muffins and pastries are all very good. The real secret find are their chili, pulled pork, soups and pies (both sweet and savory). Great vibe and well worth the drive.

  • Karen O

Everything I get here is delicious. I recommend the benny croissant, bacon and chive scones, lemon meringue pie and any of their breads. I usually preorder and pick up, which is so convenient. This is a no cash place, so bring your debit/credit card! I can't add photos cause we ate it all. :)

  • Carmen

Went with a friend of mine about one month ago, my first time. Ate a dessert and latte under a tent set up across the street. I bought the multigrain bread, very tasty and filling. And desserts and you of course. Excellent food, service and friendliness . Support local! Carmen

  • Kelly MacLeod

It was a clear indication of how good they are when I saw the lineup was out the door. Incredibly, the service was so efficient I barely waited long at all! I've never been disappointed with the service, taste or price. The Morning Buns are like if heaven had a child. Amazing!

  • Sophie N

Probably one of my absolute favorite bakery and I travel the world for a living. Everything they make & bake is fresh and flavorful and the staff is always friendly and inviting. I look forward every time I drive through for a stop at this place. Give it a try it’s worth it.

  • Mama Mia Quesadillaa

Amazing local bakery in the east end of Ottawa. It's often busy here, especially on weekends. Staff seem really happy to serve you. Everything is made fresh, and all the baked goods are delicious. Seating is very limited here, so this is a perfect local "grab and go" cafe.

  • Jacobus Rude

World class pastries, baked to perfection. Rotating seasonal pies on the weekends. Handcrafted breads and serving delicious coffee. This place is undeniably authentic, with friendly staff set in a cozy country atmosphere. Worth a drive if you live in the capital region.

  • David Diachidos

Coffee was delicious and their sourdough bread is something to write home about. But the breakfast pastry I ordered I requested warmed and it was still pretty cold when I got it. Theres a very small not very comfortable seating area and a perpetual line on the weekends.

  • Yasmine BMC

Lovely place! Amazing product the butter tart is delicious the bread too! I so recommend it.. I ordered online and did a pick up, it was very quick and the people there are very nice. It is a family owned local business and they do a really great job

  • Ellen Chaput

Let’s just say “The Black Walnut Bakery” is so good, I drive all the way from Kanata to pickup their goodies. Staff are always super friendly and I’ve never gotten anything that I haven’t absolutely loved (their muffins and scones are my personal favourite).

  • L McD

Love the scones and I make a visit every time they switch up the flavours, I believe is biweekly. Their Instagram is great place to see the amazing pastries and how they give back to the community. Thanks for supplying or Wednesday morning pastry fix …

  • Sarah X

Nice little place, price is much more reasonable than the bakeries in the city. We tried the falafel sandwich and some baked goodies, scone is ok, croissant is flaky enough but not buttery. Good for the price. It’s worth drop by if you are in the area.

  • Tom Hawboldt

The Black Walnut Bakery is simply the best Family owned and run, anywhere ! Isaac and Myra have transformed what a Community Bakery should be! Welcoming, Honest, down to Earth , Best staff ever and the treats and bread! OMG Thankyou and see you soon:)

  • Runningdad RunningWalker

Great bakery and make great faux smoked salmon sandwich with carrots and cream cheese and dill ..... have to check out!! Small and no indoor dining but a couple tables outside! Not far from Cumberland ferry and down the road from a river lookoff.

  • Naz Ronald

Best pain au chocolat I've ever had. Better than any pastries I've tried in Montreal or quebec city. The breakfast croissants have the ingredients baked into them! Haven't seen this anywhere else. Definitely a must try if you live in the area.

  • Trefor Munn-Venn

Wow. We just had the best tourtieres we've ever had. Saying it's hand-made wouldn't do it justice. They're hand-crafted. The pastry is outstanding -- light and flaky -- and the meat filling was rich and full of flavour. Incredible. Thank you!!

  • Ali Jafarieh

The coffee was brewed to perfection. Take a medium roast drip with a croissant, sit outside and enjoy! P.S: they serve Equator coffee

We are so fortunate to have such an amazing bakery in our area. This couple work so hard to produce the best baked goods for us. We just had their ham and cheese croissants for our lunch - the best we have ever had. Thanks, Michel and Diane

  • Avery M

One of THE finest bakery/cafe in the city! The fresh breads and pastries are to die for along with a fantastic cup of joe! Yes, it's in the far East...but if you're ever in the East end of Ottawa, it's worth the short drive to Cumberland!

  • Darryl Damude

Friendly service, great treats and something for everyone. Great bakery with more than bread. They have tasty cookies, squares and seasonal pies. Flavourful vegan and gluten free options available. Show up early as products are limited.

  • Faith

Definitely deserving of 5 stars! The pastries are fresh and delicious. The staff are friendly. The take out window does get busy at times but it is worth the wait. Coffee is good, I had an iced oat milk latte and it was prepared well.

  • Shana Osaki

Super Good! great coffee's, AMAZING almond croissants and friendly staff. I love following their Facebook page and seeing all their cute posts on the love that goes into crafting their baked goods!! fantastic local biz!! …

  • joel diab

Best bakery in Ottawa! This is by far my favorite bakery. They started off at the Cumberland market with their little stand then went on to open their own bakery. Super friendly and beautiful baked goods. 10/10 would recommend it.

  • Ben Burgio

This place is amazing from their breads to the desserts to their meat or chicken pies are amazing. I drive from Montreal to pickup their meat tourtiers. Order online before going there the order will be ready when you get here.

  • Juls Boul

Wow!!! Bought so much here while visiting the area. Everything was made with high quality and fresh ingredients. You can taste it in every bite. The "beef, ale and mushroom" pot pie and the "Tourtiere" is out of this world.

  • Carl Cencig

Fantastic bakery run by an amazing, easy going and friendly family. The location is clean and well laid out, the baked goods are extraordinary. This place makes the best butter tarts I have ever tasted, not to be missed!

  • Mason Hanrahan

I forgot my wallet and didn't realize until after I had ordered. They let me pay via e-transfer, even though it was a huge hassle. They were really busy at the time and were really nice about it. The food was great too!

  • Marty St. Denis

Disappointed as I thought I was going to finally get to try them, but with a capacity of only three people in the store at a time and a side window that won't let you pay it makes it very hard to get service quickly.

  • Niko Mintenko

Wowowow. Drove cross town just to score some of these tasty treats!! Fantastic assortment of quality baked goods!! Only advice-check the rotating menu on their site for the pie and sandwich selections-they rotate!!

  • Quentin NAvarre

Delicious bread. Pastries are top notch and the coffee is always outstanding. You can tell this is a family business that cares about their customers! My wife and I love visiting from Perth when we are in the area.

Bought the croissants, pistachio & date croissants and the scones....absolutely worth the money. Really friendly, quick, take out service. Parking was a bit of a challenge. It's busy. But worth the weight.

  • Francis Lavoie

Best hot chocolate I have ever tasted. You could truly taste the cocoa and also the hints of spices in it. Their cookies were fantastic. Their pastries were amazing, and I need to go back to sample more.

  • Brent Ackison

Really cute little Bakery and Café. Had one of the date squares and a coffee. Both were delicious. The decor is cozy, and the staff are friendly. You can purchase coffee for home brewing as well.

  • Aaron Howard

It was worth waiting outside on a cold rainy day for. We got some croissants and morning buns. Everything was fresh and delicious with lots of flavor. Next time I'm going to try their coffee

  • K U

Excellent specialty soups that are great to take home and reheat from frozen (both the Borscht and Hungarian Mushroom were dynamite). Coffee and croissants were decent, nothing too special.

The brownies and the coconut cream pie are the best. It's just too bad that they don't have a fixed menu. It usually varies per week, like the pies, for instance (but might change, though).

  • SSIU

Try their egg raisin bread the very first time and it exceeded my expectations. Friendly staffs with big smiles in their faces. One of the must try place when you visit Cumberland. More

Well worth the drive from Ottawa. Most amazing fruit and savory pies. You can taste the butter in the crust. Easy to bake from frozen. Other pastries and baked goods also top notch.

  • Morgan Piczak

Finally tried! It’s been on my list forever. I preordered through their website, grabbed more items as well AND went to their Cumberland Farmers Market stall. Everything was great!

  • Dwayne Walker

Sandwich, chocolate croissant & latte. Delicious! And nice little setting as well. Update: had a sandwich and morning bun. Fantastic! And super friendly staff as well.

Nothing but good things to say. Best croissants I’ve ever had (especially the almond). Always fresh whether you order from the counter or preorder.

  • Dean Michaud (Karnatos)

Grabbed a quick coffee and pastry, and even a small container of The Chef starter. This place is a gem in Cumberland, you should check them out.

  • Lianne Lahaie

My husband and I live 45 minutes away from this little gem of a bakery and we have no issues driving that far to pick up some tasty treats.

  • Vicki Comeau

Delicious sandwiches and coffee! Friends took pie home, said it was great! Loved that there were vegan options. Can't wait to go back.

  • Maurice Bruce

A gem of a bakery in Cumberland. Lots of bakery standards, and weekly "specials". The owners and staff are all friendly and welcoming.

Amazing pastries and they sell Equator coffee. There's parking on site so you can order ahead and wait until your order is ready.

Great bakery and pastries. If you can preorder, usually a little lineup but passes quickly. A must visit if you’re passing by.

We usually order the almond paste and chocolate croissant. A great assortment of baked goods. Dining is under a nearby tent.

Best be aware, the personel are courteous and friendly, you will want to go back just for that. But the food is a treat.

A very cute bakery with the most delightful staff. The Habibi Sandwich is easily one of my top sandwiches of all time!
